From The Window
She was sitting on the large window, gazing at the sunset. Only the glass separated her from that paradise drawn in the marine sky. The light fell on her giving a golden tone to her body and face. Her eyes revealed the peace that the moment cast upon her and her own inner joy. To do such thing, its color gradients would be stuck somewhere in the limit of the aquamarine and cloudy.
Outside, she contemplated the opaque green of the grass turn, slowly, into a yellowish brown, only to then give place to the sea which, as she, bathed itself with the beams of light which the sun, in its farewell, gave. In the infinite sky, some clouds were dyed with a warm pink, while others with an orange; adding slight shades of dark blue.
From her back, the step of sounds awoke her. She smiled and her head made the strands of her blonde hair move. Her smile widened when she checked that known eyes stared back at her.
"Hi, new dress?" asked the male figure. His voice was tender; it was directed to her with an affection which was given to no one else. She stood up, getting rid of the image the horizon displayed for her, trying to win her love. But her true love was there, in front of her.
She turned and completed a circle, slightly rising the dress's skirt due to such movement, to show the new acquisition.
"Yep, bought it today, do you like it?"
"I'd like it less it you weren't wearing it" She blushed, and he took her hand. "Shall we go see the sunset?"
As her only reply, she placed herself in his arms and they both walked down to the beach.
So...yeah... Did this for my mother for 'her day' because I didn't feel like drawing anything, though it was pictured as a drawing...
Please excuse me if you don't seem to understand some of it... I rushly translated it from Spanish to English... and didn't have enough time to re-read it.
