Hostage

Omega was walking around and exploring while her brothers fixed the ship. She walked into town and explored some of the local shops. She walked into a store with jewelry. She was looking at some of the bracelets when she heard screaming and yelling. She looked at the front of the store and saw three men holding up blasters. She heard noises outside and the men panicked.

"I want everyone to stand in front of the windows now." The leader ordered. The other two men helped push people to the windows. Omega hid her comm under her sleeve and gasped when she felt a blaster touch her shoulder.

"That includes you, little miss." A man hissed.

"Ok. Don't shot," Omega replied. Omega did as she was told and when she stood at the window, she pushed a few buttons on her comm.

The boys had finished their repairs and were looking for Omega.

"Omega should be back by now." Echo stated. All of a sudden, they heard voices on their comms.

"Omega, are you there?" HUnter wondered.

"Shut up and stay still. You move, you die." The leader said to the hostages.

"What are we gonna do? The police are right outside." Another man questioned.

"Either they leave us alone or we kill everyone inside this building. Set the charges. We go, they go."

The brothers looked at each other in shock. Hunter ran towards the town and the others followed.

Hunter didn't know what to do. All he knew was that he needed to get to Omega as fast as he could. He could hear everything the men said and he could hear his brothers following him. When he arrived in town, he saw the police outside a jewelry store.

"I need to get in there," Hunter said.

"Sir, you need to get out of here. We'll handle it." The police replied.

"No, my sister's in there."

Echo watched as Hunter tried to talk to the officer, but he could see that Hunter couldn't. He stepped forward and placed a hand on Hunter's shoulder.

"Officer, our sister is in there. She has a communication device on her and she's allowing us to hear everything. That can help you. They have bombs set to go off unless you leave." Echo explained. "We can help."

"I'll see what I can do." The officer replied.

Echo looked at Hunter who was trying to spot Omega in the shop. All of them were worried and all of them blamed themselves. Echo wanted to pace around and allow fear to take over, but he knew that he had to stay calm. He watched the officer talk to another man and he looked into the shop. Everyone knew how serious this was.

As Tech listened to what was happening, he thought of ways to get everyone out. He found that statistics were in their favor, but only if the batch moved in and took the men out. He watched his brothers stare into the shop or at the officers. When the officers walked over, Hunter and Echo straightened up.

"We need your comm. We need to communicate with the captures." The officer stated.

"No, if you do that, you will kill everyone inside. They don't know that we know what's happening. Our best option is stealth. I have schematics of the building. Our team can sneak in through the underground and get in there, disarm the bombs and take down the captures before they even know what's happening." Tech explained.

"We can't involve you. Give us the comm or we will be forced to remove them."

"Oh, yeah. You just try that." Wrecker spat as he stood up.

Wrecker listened to everything that had happened and he worried about Omega. He should have gone with her. It's not like he was really needed. When he heard the officer's threat, he was fuming.

"Now, our sister's in there and she can help us if we get in there." Echo stated. "We have no idea how long we have. The longer we stand here and fight, the more likely hose people are to die."

Wrecker and his brothers glare at the officers and he sighed.

"Fine, but I want to know your plan." The officer stated.

"Our plan includes you and your team getting away from this place and getting everyone out the other buildings without tipping off the bombers," Hunter replied. "Let's get our gear, boys."

Hunter and his brothers grabbed their gear and weapons.

"We shouldn't have let her go off on her own," Hunter said.

"She would have anyways, Hunter. She's curious." Echo answered.

"I know, but we're responsible for her. This falls on all of us."

"Yeah, I know."

HUnter looked at TEch who was focused on his datapad.

"Tech, what's the plan?" Hunter asked.

"We'll go in through the underground tunnels. It comes up in the backroom. I have a fair idea where they would place the explosives. I suggest we disarm the explosives and take down the bombers at the same time." Tech explained. "As soon as we have an opening, we need to get everyone out of there."

The team snuck into the shop and saw a bomb in the room. Tech examined it and grabbed his tools.

"This team is not very experienced," Tech said. "This will help."

Hunter and Echo looked out of the room and saw a man walking their way. HUnter waited till he passed them before he grabbed the man and took him out without a sound. The team moved towards the door and looked around the shop. They saw Omega and the other three men. Hunter spotted the remaining explosives and he pointed at them. He pointed at Tech who nodded. Hunter pointed at Wrecker and then at the man walking through the isles. Then he pointed at the other follower who was pacing around the room. HUnter pointed at himself and the leader and then he counted to three. On three, the batch snuck in and completed their objective. Tech disarmed the bomb, while the others took down the targets.

"Hunter!" Omega exclaimed as she looked up at the noise.

"Omega, get everyone out of here now!" Hunter ordered. Omega did as she was told and soon, the place was clear.

The batch grabbed the bombs and the bombers and took them out to the police. Omega ran up to Hunter and they hugged.

"I'm sorry. I shouldn't have left the ship." Omega apologized.

"That doesn't matter now. What matters is that you're safe." HUnter answered. "You did exactly what we taught you."

Omega let go of HUnter and hugged her other brothers. Wrecker was the last one to hug Omega and he picked her up and hugged her.

"Let's go back to the ship," Hunter suggested.

They walked back to the ship and spent the rest of the day together.
