A/N: This fic is for the Going, Going, Gone! Challenge for the prompt pairing: Hermione/Sirius, and for the Insane House challenge prompt Title: Falling for You. It's 325 words.

Hermione watched as her husband entertained the younger children of their extended family as he pretended to be Father Christmas, and listened to all the presents they wanted to receive.

She couldn't believe how things had changed over the past five years since the war had ended.

After Sirius had grieved for Remus and Nymphadora's loss, he decided to clean himself up a bit and start trying to do some good in the world. One idea he had was to open an orphanage for magical children, and he had asked her to help him with it.

Over the course of the project they became quite close to the point where you would rarely see one without the other.

It took a couple of months before they both realised how they felt and a few more before they got the courage to tell each other.

"Hermione, you look beautiful as always," Sirius said greeting her with a kiss on the cheek.

"Thank you, Sirius. Is everything alright? Your letter sounded a little...odd." Hermione asked as she sat at the table.

"Everything is fine," he replied.

"You're lying. What's wrong?"

"It's nothing."

"Obviously not if you're in this state," Hermione said trying to work out what it could be.

"I love you," Sirius blurted out.

Hermione's eyes widened for a moment before softening.

"Shit, Hermione. I didn't mean for it to come out like that. I-"

"-love you too, Sirius," Hermione confessed.

"You do?" he asked disbelievingly.

"Yes, I do."

From that day onwards they had practically been inseparable, and when Sirius had asked her to marry him six months later it came as no surprise when she said yes.

They had had bumps in their relationship like most couples do, but they always came out stronger the other side.

Hermione put her hand on the small bump where their growing child was and knew that no matter what happened they would always love each other.
