Hermione was shook from her sleep by a tired looking George.

"What time is it?" she mumbled.

"Time for you to get up. That inspector woman is going to be here in thirty minutes," he told her.

"Thank you, George," Hermione said gratefully as she pushed the covers off her and stretched.

The inspector woman as George called her was Hermione's therapist, Caroline. She was coming to their flat for what she hoped would be her last session. It was an unheard of practice, but Hermione had been informed that sometimes the hardest place people felt comfortable talking about their experiences was in their own home. If they were able to talk about them without showing anxiety then the sessions would end.

Exactly half an hour later there was a knock on the door.

Hermione took a deep breath and went to open it.

"Hello, Hermione. How are you?" Caroline asked.

"I'm good, thank you. Would you like anything to drink?" she asked showing the other woman into the lounge.

"No, thank you. How have you been doing since our last session?"

"Very good. I still haven't had any nightmares, and I've worn a few short sleeved tops," Hermione informed her.

Ever since Bellatrix had carved the word Mudblood on to her arm Hermione had stuck to wearing long sleeved tops and cloaks even in the height of summer just so others wouldn't see it.

"I'm very glad to hear that. Did you hide the scar at all?"

"Only once, but George managed to convince me to take it off as we were at a friends birthday party. He reminded me that they would see or treat me any differently because of it," Hermione informed her smiling at the memory.

"Are you living together as a couple?" she asked gently.

"Oh… uh… no… we don't live together… I mean… we live together but in separate, heterosexual bedrooms," Hermione replied blushing furiously.

She didn't exactly know what they were. They had always been friends but since coming to live with George, there had been nights which both of them found solace in being intimate with each other. Over the past few months though it had changed and Hermione wasn't sure where she stood with him.

"I'm sorry to have embarrassed you, Hermione," Caroline apologised.

"You haven't embarrassed me. I was just caught by surprise that's all."

The rest of the session went by fairly quickly and before Hermione knew it she was saying goodbye.

"Thank you for everything, Caroline," Hermione said gratefully.

"It's no problem, Hermione. If you ever need to talk, my door is always open."

"Bye."

"Goodbye, Hermione," Caroline said before disappearing down the stairs to the shop.

"I heard her ask about us," George stated as he came out of his room.

"I can't believe she actually asked me that," Hermione replied shaking her head.

"Why not? She's your therapist isn't she supposed to ask questions about your life?" he asked raising his eyebrows.

"Well yes, but I never thought that she would ask whether we were a couple."

"Are you ashamed of me?" George asked seriously.

"Merlin, No! Don't ever think that, George. I just...I was hoping it was something she wouldn't bring up. We haven't even talked about what we are yet, and to have to talk about us to someone else before we have makes me feel nervous," she admitted.

"Why does it make you feel nervous, Hermione?" he asked furrowing his brow.

"Because I don't know what you want. Are we friends, lovers, or are we a couple?" she asked feeling slightly sick.

George stared at her for a moment before pulling her flush against him and kissing her soundly.

The kiss wasn't like anything they had shared before. It was deeper and full of love and emotion.

"Hermione, will you be my girlfriend?" he asked breaking the kiss.

"I would love to," she replied before pressing her lips to his.
