Hey guys! Sorry about the delay. Just been busy with work and school. I just finished my finals and didn't do to bad. Now just gotta survive the rest of the year!
P.s. Hannah if you find this… no you didn't. We don't talk about Transformers ~
These past five days have done well for my healing process. Some feeling and movement have been gained over that time frame. As happy as I should be, it came with a downfall. The muscles and other fleshy part of my hands are still damaged, which means pain.
Since I've gain some feeling back, at random moments, my hands would throb with pain. Even with it and nearly knocking me to my knees sometimes, I won't allow Ratchet to give me any drugs. It wasn't a matter of trust; it's something of my past that won't allow him to do.
As much as I strived to get over those things, they seem to stick to like gum in hair. Worst of all, they make me feel guilty for my harsh actions. On multiple occasions at Aztec, whenever the doctors tried to give me drugs of any kind, I would freak out. Not simply screaming or crying, no. I would use my powers to get them away from me, two have been killed because of it.
It's not their fault though, I wished they listened to me and didn't try though. More blood on my hands that didn't need to be there.
With needles though, that was an easier feat to get over. I just looked away and tried my best to relax so it didn't hurt more than it should have. Drugs though… that's what turned me into this today. To me, it's more to understand never getting over that compared to needles.
Today was calm and quiet on base. It was below freezing, which meant everyone, both organic and not, was inside. I, on the other 'crazy' hand, am not. The cold, for the time being, felt good against my scales. The twins opted to heading to the rec. room as I enjoyed the weather.
Any other being on base that saw me sitting on the light pole gave me crazy looks. That includes Prowl who was trekking through the snow over to me.
Said bot reached me within a few long moments, both concern and bewilderment on his face. "Are you alright, Azar? Isn't it a bit cold for you to be out in this weather?" he question while suppressing a shiver.
A content smile graced my lips, gratitude filling my chest as his worry. "Yes, I'm good, Prowl. Just enjoy this wonderful weather we are having. What about you? You seem a little cold to be out here," I answer and shifted my feet a on the cold light pole I was sitting on.
He scoffed. "'Wonderful' my aft…" he muttered under his breath. "I'm doing fine as well. I will have to disagree on the term 'wonderful' though, you seem to be only one that can stand this cold."
I shrugged my shoulders nonchalantly. "Well, I probably won't last longer than an hour. Even I have limitations to this kind of weather."
"Well, you better head in soon. You're injured enough. See you around." We both dipped our heads at each other as he departed.
Once he was out of sight, I glanced down at my arms and cringed. No matter how many times I see it, the mess they've become is horrible. Yes, they'll heal back to normal with scars of course but that doesn't help the thoughts running through my head. I have enough scars adorning my body, more aren't needed.
While sitting here more bored than a rock, a thought came to mind. Even though I did ask to be told details about Jasper and if they do show their ugly faces somewhere. But it didn't hurt to go talk to William. I was just sitting here, wasting time, unable to sleep and having already ate less than two hours ago.
Some time past, the sun being blocked out with light fog surrounding us, before I decided to fulfill my idea. My wings carried me off of the light pole towards William's office among the humans.
Does no one took into account the eight foot tall creature when making building plans? My back hurts enough, now with the lack of ceiling height, I now have to crouch my way through. So inconsiderate.
William had his door closed while on the phone with someone. As a person with some manners, I knocked and waited for access to enter. He talked a little more before excusing himself. "I'm talking with my family. Can it wait?" At the mention of Sarah and Anna, I smiled happily.
"Yeah it can, but now I'm here for a different matter," I answered.
"Azar? Oh wait, crap. Yes, Anna, it's Azar. I'll ask don't worry… Come on in. Anna wants to talk to you." I opened the door and stepped in, the smile only growing. William sat at his desk, phone in hand, extended it towards me.
"Ha, I'm the favorite," I teased and took the phone from him with my tail. "Hey, Anna, whatcha up to?" A squeal nearly shot my hearing completely. I ripped the phone away from my ear and cringed at the ringing. "Uh, could we quiet down a little. Any louder and I'll have permanent hearing lost."
After she stopped, I cautiously put the phone back to my ear. "Oh, sorry! I've really missed you. I heard you got hurt, like really bad. Are you okay? Please be okay," she begged and sounded like she was on the verge of crying after being excited.
"Yes, I'm fine. Just some simple burns that are over halfway healed. Nothing to worry about. Ratch is taking good care of me."
"Well, okay. He better be. When are you coming to visit?" Oh right. "We really miss you. I really miss you and I wanna give your ouchies kisses to help them get better." I softened at her words and gazed at the floor, trying to hide the blush on my face.
"I don't know. Let me ask your dad real quick." I held the phone away as far as it could go. "She's asking when I can go visit. When do you think?"
William took a moment to think about and tried to be sneaky about looking at my unwrapped arms. "Activity is next to zero. So you can go whenever if Ratchet allows you with your wounds" His words kind of surprised me. I thought he would argue or fight me on going to see them since we don't always see eye to eye.
I nodded and brought the phone back up to my ear. "Well, kid, it all depends on Ratchet. If he deems me well enough for travel, I'll head to Montana as soon as possible." She took a deep breath and I knew what was going to happen and pulled the device way. Anna squealed louder this time, causing her father to chuckle.
"She really loves you," William stated, not an ounce of anger on his face. I froze at his words, not knowing how to react; I wasn't use to other's saying that to me. But there wasn't any time to respond to his words, Anna was begging for my attention once more.
"Yay! I can't wait! It's snowed so much here and there's no school for the next two days so we can play out in the snow."
"Awesome, kiddo. I'll either talk to you later or when I get there. I'll let you talk with your father some more." With that, I handed the phone back to him, unable to hide the childish smile on my face.
William takes it back. "Give me a moment, Anna-" he turns his attention to me- "Hide is going with you guys if you're able to go." I dipped my head before taking my leave, glad to be out of the building not meant for my height.
After settling that with William, I took flight towards the Med. Bay to ask Ratchet if it was okay in the first place. The majority of my heart hopes he says yes because, to be honest, I was missing the kid after so long. I definitely needed her presences to help ease some worry that neither of the twins could brush off for me.
Today was a gentle, calm day, though many would disagree since it was below freezing. The snow plowers were out, doing their jobs on clearing paths for the land dwellers. If only humans could grow wings, they wouldn't have to worry so much about the snow. Actually, screw them, it's best they didn't.
The windows surrounding apart of the Med. Bay were closed, not for long though. I latched onto the side of the hangar, pried open the frozen window carefully with my hands and tail, and clambered in. Ratchet turned around to find me shaking off the particles clinging to my scales. "Hello to you too," he greeted, a gentle smile on his face.
A smile of the same nature gracing mine as well. "Hey, I have a question." The mech rolled his eyes and motioned with his head to come towards him. I followed his request and land on the table he was standing at.
"I saw that by the way." It took me a moment to realize what he meant. Right, I wasn't entirely supposed to use my hands/arms until cleared by him. Oh well. "Good ahead."
"Anna wants me to go visit her. I already asked William and he said it was fine. Decepticon and Jasper activity is down to a zero so it's safe to go for a day or two. But I have to ask if it's okay?" My tail flickered nervously behind me as I maintained my normal purple color, waiting for his word.
Ratchet paused for a moment then grabbed the tools he originally had. "Well," he sighed and glanced at arms for a moment, "how are you feeling?" Huh? Why is he asking me that?
"Uh, good I guess. Some pains here and there but nothing abnormal for the wounds I have. Why?"
"You're healing nicely and if you think you are up to the task of visiting, you go right ahead. But! Any pains out of the normal range, you must contact me and come back immediately. Don't do what you did last time. I don't need a repeat," he warned and pointed a tool at me. I scoffed and pouted with my arms crossed, a glare set on the ground. "Don't give me that. That reminds me, have you told your boys."
Crimson and darker purples trickled in on my scales. A mumble rumbled through my chest. "Not yet, I wanted to ask you first," I muttered and trying to hide the embarrassment and shame physically showing.
The CMO chuckled, laughing at my misfortune in a playful way. "I suggest you go tell them. They are banned from going to Will's house so they can't accompany you. Though I'm guessing either Hide or Jazz will be going with you."
"Yeah, Hide's going with me. But I will, I was going to head to the Rec. room afterwards, not matter your answer. The cold is starting to bite through my scales." At the mention of the cold, he narrowed his gaze and placed a hand on his hip.
He raised an eyebrow. "Prowl commed me and asked if it was okay for you to be out in the cold. How long were you even out there for?" I shrugged my shoulders, unsure of the answer to be honest. Ratchet sighed and rolled his eyes. "Primus save me." Then he turned back to me. "Now shoo and hang with your boys."
Oh you little… I did what I was told and flew to the Rec. room.
The hangar door was closed with just enough room for me put to my wing claw in and slide it open. Both of the twins turned to me at the sound. They were curled up on the largest couch in here. Sides resting comfortably partially on Sunstreaker's lap, in between his legs. A smile etched it's way onto my face at the sight.
Sides perked up, the corners turning upward in a bright smile. "Azar! Come here, it's snuggle time," he sprouted off without giving me any time to close the door back up. "Don't question me. It's cold and the best way to warm each other up is by using our own heat."
I shrugged, unbothered, and climbed onto their pile once making my way over. Sides shifted so there was enough room for me to lay next to him as he moved onto his side. The two of them were much warmer than my scales which had cooled to be the same temperature as the outside.
Sunstreaker tensed as my scales pressed against the mesh that was exposed on the apex of his thigh. I settled with my upper half on his abdomen. My back was pressed again Sides's chest as he wrapped an arm around me to splay his hand on my stomach. "Primus, you're cold. Don't worry we'll warm you up," Sides promised and tugged me closer to him.
A purr vibrated through my chest when Sunstreaker placed a hand on top of my head; a simple but kind gesture from him. "Before we get to comfortable, I have to tell you something," I stated and tilted my head back to glance at Sides and Sunstreaker. The former gazing up at his brother, a hint of worry on his face. "Hey, it's nothing bad. I talked with Anna over the phone and she wants me to visit which I agreed to. Both William and Ratchet said it's okay, so I'll probably leaving tomorrow since it's already late."
They both kind of deflated, knowing they couldn't go with. Sides grew worried at the same as well, nervously glancing between me and his brother. "Are you sure you should go? What about our bond? I know Hatchet said it's fine for long distances but what happens if some goes hay-wire?" he questioned, concerned about my well-being.
I twisted around, careful of my wings and wounds, and rested my forehead against his. "I can't nor will I promise anything but I believe everything will go fine. I'll only stay for the night and head back. I don't want to be gone too long without you two. I may miss the kid, but you two are more important to me," I stated and grabbed Sunstreaker's hand, mindful of my burns, to include him, even though we were laying partially on top of him.
Sides exhaled shakily and stared for a moment at Sunstreaker and I's hold on each other. "Okay, okay, everything will be fine. Right, Sunny?" I snickered at the nickname and bumped the front of my horns against the red mech's forehead this time.
"I wouldn't be giggling, right Nighty?" Sunstreaker smirked as I froze. Oh crap, he knows! I huffed a plume smoke out and tucked both of my hands to my chest, carefully. Sunstreaker wasn't letting me go that easily and grabbed my horn to tilt it back, forcing to gaze up at him. "I asked you a question."
A snicker broke the silence as I stared up at him. "Sunny boy," I randomly said and pressed my lips together to reframe from laughing anymore and pissing him off more than I already have. "Oh Sunny, I wouldn't be-mpf!"
One moment, I was laying by Sides, the next I was straddling Sunstreaker's shoulder's, though my knees couldn't the couch. The mech fiercely pressed his lips against mine in a harsh but wonderful kiss. A hand cradling the back of my head, holding me there. I melt against him, hands coming to rest on his chest, eyes fluttering close.
When my lungs burned for oxygen, I pushed back and gasped for air. The hand holding me allowed me to do so. Our eyes bored into each other. Gods, I fucking love them. Sunstreaker only gave me so little time before tugging me into another kiss.
This time, it was gentler than the last. I pulled away sooner as well, lungs still ached from the lack oxygen. Sunstreaker wasn't one to wait and dragged me back down. Instead of my lips, he went for my throat. His teeth nipped at one of my vulnerable spots as they moved to my shoulder, doing to same action.
From behind us, Sides whined from being excluded. His brother chuckled and detached his mouth. "I know that was random, I just wanted to shut you up, Nighty." I half-heartily bristled at the nickname, spine spikes clinking against each other.
Sides didn't get me anytime to argue with Sunstreaker about it and tugged at my leg. "Azar, I wanna cuddle," he whined in a baby voice. I softened at his tone, bared my fangs at the yellow mech, before crawling down and snuggling up to him. The mech hummed, content. "Hmm, much better." He wrapped an arm around my mid-section and held me against him.
His twin on the other hand chuckled at the sight with a shake of his head. "Oh, Sunny, don't be jealous," I teased, a smirk gracing my lips, just out of his gaze. Sunstreaker tensed, engine rumbling. "I will say, this spot is really warm though."
"You still feel really cold. Are you sure this is normal?" Sides questioned, hand roaming up the length of my side. The warmth radiating off of him was refreshing and drew a purr from me.
"Yes, it is. I can last in the cold for awhile and prefer it over the heat." I leaned my head back and bumped my horns against the top of Sides chest. "You're warm though, I definitely prefer that." Sides pressed his lips against the side of my neck, being affectionate.
The red twin held himself there as we all calmed down; them returning their attention on whatever they were watching beforehand. I took note of the movie but had no clue what it was about or even the name. All that was important to me at that moment was the two of them.
After the movie had finished, they were only a quarter into it, the sun had already passed the top of the trees. Paths have been carved throughout the base and salt thrown down to help during the night. Those paths though were entirely ignored by the two. For the yellow twin, as much as he says he hates the snow, he sure likes to trek through it.
That gives me an idea…
With a flick of my tail and energy sent into the limb, a thin sheet of snow flew towards Sunstreaker. Said mech was to my right, with his brother on the other side of him. Sunstreaker froze for a moment, before turning his head slowly and menacingly. The muscles in my body tensed at the sight. Uh oh, this might have been a bad idea.
Not a sound came from as we stared at each other. Sides paused as well, a knowing smirk plastering on his face.
"Run."
My legs carried me as quickly as they could with this deep snow; talons digging in for traction in a swift escape and spikes clattering against each other. It was moments later before I heard the crunch of snow behind me.
Sunstreaker starting the chase.
The snow aided in my favor and downed the twins. There was a crash behind me and groans seconds following after. Instead of risking getting caught, my four wings lifted me up and out of reach. I circled around to find both twins in a pile, Sunstreaker on top of Sideswipe.
Laughter bubbled in my chest at the sight. Off a little ways, I heard someone else joining in. Bumblebee, Bluestreak, and Ironhide all laughing their asses off. The form accidently slipping himself and landed on his butt as well. This all made us safe ones crack up even more, nearly dragging me out of the sky too.
Heat bloomed on the side of my face. I turned to find Sunstreaker glaring fiercely at me. His brother on the other hand had joined us in laughing off the situation. Sounds now were caught in my throat at the look on the golden mech.
We stared at each other more until his brother scooped up a handful of snow and shoved it into Sunstreaker's face. That definitely caught all of his attention. Sunstreaker took to the offensive side and wrestled his other half to the ground. The poor red mech's face smashed into the snow as Sunstreaker placed a heavy knee on the middle of his back.
Cheering came from the group of three. "You go Sunstreaker! Make him eat slag," Ironhide shouted. In his excitement, his cannons whirled to life, glowing softly in the near darkness. Said lack of light was being to grow as time passed on.
Bumblebee joined in, though not in words. His happy whirling expressed enough. "I agree, Bee. Come on Sides, don't let him win that easily!" Bluestreak cheered and shouldered Bumblebee.
I decided to land, believing it was safe while the two were distracted. As the two's other half, I couldn't choose a side and silently encouraged both of them.
It took them a couple of minutes of rolling around in the snow to stop. But not voluntarily, no. Prowl stood with them at his feet, eyes glaring deeply at the two. They froze before detangling from each other and standing up. Sunstreaker seemed uncaring about the mech showing up. Sides, on the other hand, pouted, lip pushed out to play into his act.
"It's too fragging cold to be messing around. This is your warning for the night," Prowl stated, then turned calculated and strolling off towards Optimus's office.
The group of three, mainly Ironhide relaxed. But they weren't safe either. "Hide, don't encourage the sparklings." I couldn't help the snort at the name calling towards the twins. Prowl didn't stop and only turned his head enough so he could see out of the corner of his eye. A smirk on lips.
Things weren't safe for me either. Sunstreaker returned to glaring while Sides had a playful look on his face. "Uh oh, Azar, I suggest you run!" Bluestreak warned as the Terror Twins got to their wheeled feet.
My eyes widened as we stared each other done. Yeah, I'm going to be taking his suggestion to heart.
By the time our 'game' had ended, the sun had set. The three of us had found ourselves back in their room. I was glad to have some more happy memories before I went to Montana for a day. Like I've told the two: as much as I love the kid, the two of them were much more important to me.
