Hello, everyone. This prompt was suggested by The Generic Ficer. Enjoy.
The batch arrived on Ord Mantell and landed in their usual spot.
"Heh, this spot is still open." Hunter chuckled. "Come on, let's go get our assignment."
They walked out of the Marauder and walked down the streets of Ord Mantell. Crosshair looked around suspiciously. When they came to Cid's place, they walked in and saw that nothing had really changed.
"So, this is Cid's. Huh, not much to look at." Crosshair scoffed. He pulled out a toothpick and put it in his mouth.
"Well, neither are you. And don't you dare spit that toothpick on my floor, toothpick." Cid spat as she walked over. "Well, look what the mastiff dragged in. You boys left me in quite a bit of trouble. Then I get a call from your other friend giving me an assignment for you boys. Is that toothpick the other brother you told me about? I hope he's more competent than the rest of you."
"Heh, I like her already."
"I didn't ask you, toothpick. Let's go."
They walked into a back room and Cid showed them a hologram.
"Here's your mission. This is Nelno Prime. It's an uninhabited ice-cold planet. Dress warm. Most people that go there don't come back alive. You're going to retrieve a package. There's an abandoned Separatist base. You may run into some droids. All you need to know is on this." Cid explained. She pulled out the chip and threw it. HUnter caught it and looked at it.
"We'll get on it." Hunter sighed.
"What's our payment?" Crosshair questioned.
"30% of a thousand credits," Cid replied.
"Heh, not gonna happen. If we're going on a suicide mission, we'll need more than a few hundred credits. Boys paid their debt to you. And you no longer pay for room, food, or ammunition for us."
"Fine. 40%."
"50%. At least."
"Agreed. You know, you're better at this than Bandana over here."
Crosshair looked at Hunter and sneered.
"HUnter's a real pushover. It's why I'm here to make sure he doesn't get us into any more debts." Crosshair sneered. Hunter glared at Crosshair and then shook his head.
"We'll be back with the package." Hunter sighed. As the batch was leaving the room, Crosshair pulled out his toothpick and flicked it at Cid who sneered.
"Maybe you're not so bad to work for." Crosshair scoffed.
"And maybe you should get going before you see my bad side," Cid warned.
"Funny, I thought I was looking at it."
"You got one second, Toothpick."
Crosshair left the room and followed his brothers.
"I'm not a pushover," Hunter stated when they left Cid's.
"Heh, what about Wrecker and the number of times he wanted to stay up late when we had to be up early the next day?" Crosshair answered. Then he continued to list the number of times Hunter allowed people to walk all over him.
