The batch was sent to find a traitor and bring him back alive. They were quickly able to find the agent and knock him out. But on the way back, they realized they were being followed. When they reached a pass, Hunter felt a blaster press against his temple.
"One more step and he dies." The masked figure warned.
"What do you want? Show your face?" Echo questioned. The man looked at Echo in shock.
"It can't be."
The masked figure removed his mask and Echo gasped. The figure lowered his blaster and dropped it. Echo and the man rushed to each other and hugged each other close.
"Fives! You're alive. I thought… you were dead. Rex told me what happened. He said you died." Echo gasped.
"I watched you blow up. I thought you were dead. What happened?" Fives wondered.
"It's a long story."
Fives pulled away and looked at Echo in shock.
"What happened? Who did this to you?" FIves wondered.
"I was taken by the Techno Union." Echo replied. "They hacked my mind and made me give them information. Rex rescued me and these guys helped. They took me in after it all happened. They're different too."
"I'm sorry, Echo. I… I should have gone back to you."
"We had our orders. We knew that if we didn't complete the mission, we would be in big trouble. The mission succeeded. That's all that mattered. Now, what matters is that we're together again."
"As much as I would hate to break up this reunion, we have a traitor to take back to Rex and he's gonna be waking up soon. We need to leave." Hunter stated. The Domino Twins stood up and wrapped an arm around each other and they all walked back to the Marauder.
They were all able to deliver the traitor and then the batch and Fives got to know each other. Fives decided to stay with Echo and the batch and for once in a long time, he felt like he had a family again. He was able to understand why Echo wanted to join the batch.
