The next chapter is up! Enjoy :)

Mia was getting antsy while at the same time, her emotions felt like they were running amok. She's honestly surprised how patient Frieza was being with her when she had her mood swings. But it probably has a lot to do with the fact that Dr. Bananan told him it was to be expected.

At the moment, the tyrant was down in the kitchens chatting with one of the cooks and about to bring up dinner. While she was up in their room, pacing. Something she has been doing a lot lately. Mia brought this up at her last visit with the doctor. He informed her that that tends to happen when you get closer to the end.

She paused in front of one of the windows and looked out at the sunset outside. It was a great view, swirls of colors filled up the sky, as the sun gradually turned red as it started to brush the horizon in the distance. A look of longing passed her gaze and she started finding herself truly missing her home. It's been nearly two years now since she has seen or been on Earth and seen her friends.

A lump formed in her throat and tears started to build up in her eyes. Was this truly forever? Living here on this world away from society? And what of her child? Mia tried bringing up the future for the three of them and what arrangements would be like. She didn't mention it at the time, but she was hurt when he brought up continuing to live here, all while raising the baby.

And in truth, she doesn't want that. This is not an ideal place to raise a child. Nor is it healthy subjecting her to her father's nefarious business. Plus, there were no other kids here, she'd be completely alone with no one to play with. Something that will eventually lead to loneliness and feelings of seclusion. No schooling, no friends, no normal life.

A couple tears rolled down her cheeks, thinking how unfair this life will be for her daughter. Mia balled her fists at her sides as anger started gripping her. No, she has to speak up. There was no way in hell she was raising her here.

The elevator door slid open and Frieza walked in with a tray of food for them. He looked around and saw her standing by one of the windows on the left far corner of the room near the bed. Mia didn't even acknowledge him as he approached. He put the tray down on the small table on the way to her. It wasn't until he was a few feet away and closing that he noticed something was wrong.

"Mia? What's wrong?" He asks.

Frieza went to place his hand on her arm, but she pulled away. He furrowed his eye ridge wondering what could've transpired in the last seven minutes he was downstairs in the kitchens.

"I'm not doing this. I refuse." She said.

Now he was really confused, what was she talking about?

"I don't understand. You refuse to do what?" He asks.

"I don't want to raise her here, Frieza. This is completely unfair to her. No good comes from raising a single child on a miliary base out in the far reaches of space away from society. She will be alone. With no friends and no proper schooling. This world is also rather bleak and barren beyond the base. And I refuse to subject her to what is for all intent purposes a business as barbarous and heinous as yours. It's not right." Mia told him.

Frieza wanted to say he was surprised at hearing this. But he'd only be fooling himself. Of course, his Mia would feel this way, because despite the fact that she has been with him for nearly two years; doesn't change the fact that they live in different worlds. He also knew she still loathed his business and dirty dealings he does all in the name of his mighty empire.

"And where do you think is better suited to raise our little one then?" He asked, afraid of what her answer would be.

Mia finally turned her glassy blue gaze from the sunset to him.

"Earth." She said, barely above a whisper.

A small frown decorated his face.

"No." He said.

Her frown now matched his own.

"No?" She grounded out.

Frieza sighs and shakes his head.

"I'm sorry, Mia. I know you miss it. But that's really not an option." He replied.

"And tell me again why the hell that is." She snapped.

"You of all people know why." Frieza retorted.

"Yeah, I do. And it's a really fucking shitty reason too." Mia bit back.

He narrowed his crimson colored eyes.

"Really? And tell me why that is. Because here I thought you'd be upset over the fact that I'd have to kill those two monkey friends of yours if we were to go back. Or did you forget that little fact?" Frieza quipped.

"Pretty hard to forget since you complain about them enough! Heard enough about your vendetta with them to last a whole fucking lifetime!" She said, getting louder with each sentence.

"Then maybe I should finally go and kill them once and for all. I have after all just reached another level not too long ago in training. And something tells me this new and improved form will finally do the trick. Or perhaps, while they are on Beerus's World I go and destroy Earth, that way they have no home or family to go home to. Let's face it, that pathetic world is nothing but a waste of space and will serve its purpose better as space dust." He spat.

As soon as those last words left his mouth, he was caught off guard when a fist slammed into his face. She punched him! Mia actually punched him! Frieza was surprised and pissed at her bold and unexpected move.

Her fist hurt, it felt like she just punched a brick wall. But Mia still felt it was worth it. Her anger quickly morphed into fear though when he brought up his arms on either side of her and caged her in. Frieza leaned in with a scowl etched into his face.

"Don't. Ever. Do. That. Again." He growled.

"Fuck You! That is my home you're talking about! And I'm so fucking sick and tired of this beef between you, Goku, and Vegeta! Fucking get over it already and get a life! Or better yet; grow the fuck up!" Mia snapped.

Metal started groaning in protest as he dug his hands into the wall on either side of her and the window. She was really pushing his buttons now. And moments away from leaving before he snapped.

"I suggest you quite while you're ahead, Mia. Otherwise, it won't end well for you." He threatened.

She just let out a bitter laugh.

"See, this is what I'm also talking about. In what way is this normal or healthy?! Better yet, safe?! It's times like this you're really no better than the trash I called my parents. And what's worse, is you're willing to subject our kid to this way of living." Mia argued.

He glared at her for another couple moments, before pulling back from her. Mia then started walking away.

"Enough, this is getting ridiculous. Just what is wrong with you right now!?" Frieza snapped.

She quickly turned back around to face him. More tears streaming down her cheeks.

"I WANT TO GO HOME! THAT'S WHAT!" Mia yelled.

"AND I TOLD YOU, YOU CAN'T!" Frieza yelled back.

"I HATE YOU!" She sobbed.

He went to fire something back at her but stopped short when a look of discomfort crossed her face and she gripped her swollen stomach with a gasp. Not a moment later they heard something wet hitting the floor. It was certainly an odd sensation, Mia almost thought she had pissed herself. Until a contraction hit her. It was strong enough that she had to place a hand on the table behind her to steady herself.

Frieza was right next to her in a split second. He placed his hands on her shoulders.

"Mia?" He said, in concern.

"Oh God, I think my water just broke." She said, between breaths.

His eyes widened in alarm. And not a moment later, Mia was swept off of her feet and Frieza was carrying her to the elevator. He used his tail to press the button for ground level.

It didn't take long for them to reach the first floor. During the whole time in the elevator Mia tried to get him to put her down. But her request went in one ear and out the other. The door wasn't even open all the way when he carefully and quickly squeezed them throw the slow opening door. Frieza quickly made his way down the hall to the front door.

On the way, he bypassed Sorcha who had just finished dusting the place. The alien woman was surprised to see Frieza with Mia in his arms rushing for the front door.

"Lord Frieza, Mia, what..."

"Sorcha, I need you to follow us to the medical building. We will need your assistance." Frieza said, cutting her off.

Sorcha nodded, she placed the power duster on a side table by the couch and caught up to the pair.

"What happened?!" She asked.

"My water broke." Mia told her.

"Really? How long ago?" Sorcha asks.

"Only a couple minutes ago." Frieza replied.

All three exited through the front doors. The tyrant and his servant lifted off the ground and took off towards the medical building. Mia tightened her grip around his neck as he flew them through the air. This was the first time he ever done this, it was pretty neat, but kind of scary at the same time for her.

Luckily, it only took them three minutes to get there. They landed right outside the entrance and made their way towards it. Once they were in, a few people walking about spotted them.

"Go contact Dr. Bananan immediately and have a room prepped now." Frieza ordered.

"Yes, My Lord." The two he addressed said.

They turned around and hastily retreated. One went over to the front desk and pressed a button on the intercom. While the other went to one of the elevators and went up to the floor the doctor was on.

"He says he's ready for you, Lord Frieza." The soldier by the front desk said, as they rushed by.

The tyrant gave him a brief nod in passing.

They reached one of the elevators. Sorcha pressed the UP Button for them. A few moments later, the doors slid open, and they went in. By the time they reached the sixth floor, Dr. Bananan was already there waiting for them. He had a female doctor with him and a nurse.

"Good Evening, My Lord. Please, right this way." Dr. Bananan gestured for them to follow him.

Frieza and Sorcha followed him.

"Will you please put me down already? I told you before, I can still walk." Mia said, for what must've been the eighth time since they left.

He opened his mouth to say something but was cut off by the doctor.

"Here we are." He said.

Dr. Bananan showed them into the room. There was only a single bed inside. It had some medical equipment on either side of it near the head of the single bed. The female doctor pulled back the covers and Frieza gently placed Mia on the bed. She winced as another contraction hit her.

"How far apart have the contractions been coming?" The female doctor asked.

"This is the second one since my water broke. Which happened a little more than six minutes ago before we came here." Mia replied.

"Alright, let me just take your vitals. I'm Dr. Lima, I'll be here to assist Dr. Bananan. And the nurse here is Oranga." She says.

The light orange alien woman in what looked like nurse scrubs smiled and bowed her head to them.

"Could I get you anything, Miss? Some water perhaps?" Oranga asks Mia.

"That would actually be great, thank you." Mia replies.

"Coming right up." The cheery nurse says.

She then leaves the room to grab some water for the patient. While Dr. Bananan sets up the equipment. And Dr. Lima takes Mia's blood pressure. Afterwards, she crosses the room and goes into one of the cabinets above the counter and pulls something out. Before making her way back to the bed.

"Here, you can slip this on. Please remove all articles including any under garments." Dr. Lima instructed.

Dr. Bananan briefly left the room to give his patient privacy while she changed. Frieza unraveled the soft pale medical gown and placed it on the bed. Then he reached over to help Mia with her top.

"I can get it myself." She says, and pulls away from his hands.

Figures, despite everything that just happened, she's still pissed at him.

Mia pulled off her top, then quickly pulled the loose-fitting gown over her head. She pulled it down until it covered most her legs. She kicked off her loose ankle boots. Before reaching underneath to carefully ease out of her bottoms. Sorcha collected her clothes for her, neatly folded them, and place them on a chair off to the side.

Afterwards, Dr. Lima instructed Mia to spread her thighs so she can take a look. She wasn't close to dilation yet. When the doctor was done, she pulled the covers up and over her, trying to make comfortable.

"Ok, you're not there just yet. This could take a little while. In the meantime, try to relax." Dr. Lima said.

Dr. Bananan came back in shortly after and asked how she was doing. When he was satisfied with her answer, he hooked her up to an I.V. Then he asked Sorcha to overlook the monitors while there.

"Make sure you let us know whenever a contraction hits. Because it's important to know how far apart they are." Sorcha reminded her.

"Thanks, Sorcha." Mia says.

Frieza hasn't spoken much, just stood off to the side and let them work. Eventually, both the doctors left to tend to other patients. But informed her that they will make periodic checks to check her progress. Another minute later, Oranga came in with water, and gave it Mia.

Her and Sorcha chatted, which was a nice distraction for the nervous young woman. It hurt Frieza that she barely said anything to him and was fine with just talking with one of his servants.

Over time, the contractions started coming closer together and getting stronger. Mia moaned in pain. It felt like someone jammed a knife into her abdomen. And the stronger ones felt like someone was twisting that knife. She was relieved when Dr. Bananan came in and injected strong pain meds into her I.V. Even better when said medicine worked pretty quickly.

He also checked her again for dilation. She wasn't far now he told her. Almost fully dilated. This news made Mia more nervous. Yes, she was excited to finally meet her baby. But afraid of when it was time to deliver. She finally turned her attention to Frieza, who surprisingly had his back to her and was looking out the large bay window on the right side of the bed several feet away.

Another half an hour went by, before Dr. Lima came in and checked her again. She looked between her thighs again. Then slowly looked up at Mia.

"It's time, I'm going to call Dr. Bananan and Oranga." She says.

Dr. Lima turned her attention to Sorcha.

"Sorcha, can you help her move down to the end of the bed, please?" She asked.

"Sure, no problem." Sorcha replied.

The doctor pressed the button on an intercom that was on a side table next to the bed.

"Dr. Bananan, Oranga, it's time. She's fully dilated. Bring a towel, blanket, and diaper. And bring the small med kit." She ordered.

"Be right there." Dr. Bananan said, over the intercom.

In the meantime, Sorcha helped Mia scooch down towards the end of the bed.

"You ready, Hun?" She asks.

"Yes and no." Mia said, between breaths.

Even Frieza could hear it in her voice; she was scared. He wanted to go to her. But he worried she'd just continue to give him the cold shoulder or tell him to move away. It hurt, from the start, he was supposed to be right by her side for support.

A couple minutes later, Dr. Bananan and Nurse Oranga walked in with the supplies they needed. They placed everything on the counter, except for the towel. Sorcha gave Mia some water to help her nerves.

"Ok, Mia. I need you to scoot up just a little more and bend your knees." Dr. Lima instructed.

Mia took a deep breath and did just that.

"Sorcha, can you grab the instruments we need out of the med kit on the counter please, and wait?" Dr. Bananan asks.

"Of course." She says, and heads off to assist Oranga.

"Whenever you're ready, I need you to push." Dr. Lima said, from between her legs.

Mia turned her gaze to Frieza, who was only half paying attention and still wasn't facing them. She felt a pang in her chest. The pain meds they gave her only helped so much. And she could still feel the contractions. They were still not nearly as bad as before, but she could still feel them. When that first one hit, she bared down and pushed.

She let out a pained groan as they baby started to slowly inch her way out. A few moments later, another contraction hit, this one a little stronger. Mia clenched her jaw and pushed again. Her grunts ending in a small sob. Frieza turned his head slightly when he heard her.

Tears rolled down her cheeks, and she couldn't take it anymore.

"Frieza." She sobbed.

Her plea is what did it. He finally turned to face her. Frieza saw her tear-soaked red face and pleading looks in her eyes. She clenched her eyes shut and hissed as another contraction tore through her. And she bore down with another push.

That's when Mia felt a hand on her back and felt him grasp her hand in his.

"It's alright. You're doing fine." Frieza assured her.

She let out a sob and leaned against him. His left hand went to her shoulder as he wrapped an arm around her back. And he gently ran his thumb over her knuckles. Mia started feeling a little less afraid with him here by her side.

The pushing was a very strange and painful feeling. She can feel herself expanding as the baby was being pushed out. She sobbed between breaths. Frieza was feeling something too. Something he didn't feel in a very long time; Helpless. Though, it was different this time. It wasn't the same as being rendered helpless by an opponent.

It was more like he was helpless when it came to helping the one person he came to care deeply about. And he hated it, he wished there was more he could do besides just sitting there holding her. But the look in her eyes tells him that she is still nevertheless grateful.

Another twenty-seven minutes went by. Before Mia gave one last agonizing push. During that time, she had a death grip on Frieza's hand. It was then the pressure and pain subsided as the rest of the baby slid free from her. And a small cry filled the room.

Dr. Lima held up a small pale baby and carefully placed her in Oranga's arms, where she was wrapped in the towel. The nurse started to gently wipe her off. While Sorcha came over with the small suction pouch and cleared the infant's airways.

Mia let out another sob as she saw the baby. And a soft smile lit up Frieza's face. A smile that widened as they handed the fussy baby over to her mother. Mia took her with a big teary smile on her face and held her close.

"Hey, Sweetie." She sobs.

Their daughter was tiny, and they can make out her features more clearly now. She had Frieza's pale complexion, with dark lips, and dark rims around her eyes. Her hair was the same dark brown locks as her mom, with the exception of white greyish streaks here and there that were the same color as her skin.

Frieza reached over and gently caressed her little cheek. That's when she opened her eyes for the very first time. His own crimson-colored eyes staring right back at them. She truly was a beautiful child.

"Welcome to the Universe, Liana." He says.

Mia turned her gaze to him and smiled. And here she thought he didn't like her name suggestion and was pretty driven on giving her an Arcosian Name.

"Thank You." She whispers.

Frieza smiles and brushes some damp hair off the side of her temple.

"You're Welcome." He replies.

Before their attention is drawn again to their newborn daughter, who was still silently observing them and taking in their appearance. Mia leaned in and gently kissed her forehead. And when she pulled back, a tiny toothless grin appeared on little Liana's face. It was a sight that made both their hearts melt.

Until Next Time! ;)
