17 year old Susan Storm was in the apartment home of the Parker family finishing the last of her homework and studying for her special gifted charter school, she was babysitting her younger brother Johnny for their parents and his friend Peter Parker for his Uncle Ben and Aunt May. Satisfied with her work after checking them over for the 3rd time she then went to check on them.

Going through the door to the living room her orderly world was shattered as she was met with the sight of 10 year old Peter having been playing with his action figures but 12 year old Johnny was laughing after he threw a bus toy knocking them over. "Johnny! Captain America and Iron Man were just about to save the orphanage from Fin Fang Foom!" Peter complained as Susan glared at his laughing brother.

"They are supposed to be mighty heroes but not if a bus can stop them!" Johnny taunted as Susan shook his head, hard to believe despite the two year age gap they were much closer as friends when they were younger. It seemed that as Johnny was getting older he reveled in the popular bad boy daredevil image that that he was building for himself so them hanging out was regulated to within their homes. Already his stunts while at school had gotten their parents called to the offices and he already has one suspension on his record. Whenever her classmates see Johnny for themselves they would always ask something along the lines of:

"Which one of you two was adopted?"

"Johnny! If you can't play well with Peter then how about you play by yourself or watch something on the TV?" Susan asked with her hands on her lips towards Johnny who was flippant about it.

"Alright but Peter has to grow out of this stupid superhero fad; big whoop if some old geyser gets unfrozen and goes about with clowns dressed like they are in the circus or wrestling. Within a year people would have gotten bored of them, I don't imagine people caring about the Avengers for very long." Johnny replied referring to the hype of the new age of superheroes in the last few years like Iron Man, someone who claimed to be Thor from Norse mythology, the Hulk monster and the return of Captain America. There were history books talking about the original era of costumed adventurers started by Captain America including the likes of the Destroyer, Black Marvel, Fiery Mask, Miss America, the Human Torch (Johnny would never admit it but he thought that he was kind of cool) and Angel. Peter had definitely gone into the craze and he was excited to talk about how he saw Iron Man up close when he was at the Stark Expo, not really registering how much danger he had been in with what happened there.

Susan put on a smile as she went closer to Peter and helped him pick up his figures, "Don't listen to him Peter, the Superheroes are cool. Plus as two people of science we can both appreciate how science created him. Like Captain America from his serum and Iron Man with his suit of armor." Susan told him holding out his Cap and Iron Man figures and Peter smiled as he was handed them over.

"Cap is fighting bad guys with his shield like he did in the war, the red and blue look cool on them and I would want my superhero suit to use those colors." Peter beamed and Susan thought that she quite liked blue herself.

"How about we both play superheroes together with these Peter?" Susan offered and then turned her head to glare at Johnny as he scoffed in return. Susan picked up the fantasy dragon toy that Peter was using to represent Fin Fang Foom the dragon monster that Iron Man had fought as they played together for some time.

After ten minutes Susan decided to ask "how is it going in school?" Susan looked concerned as Peter suddenly looked down and she sighed knowing what is going on. "Losers with nothing better to do picking on you for being a 'science dweeb' again?" Susan asked thinking of his main tormentors Flash Thompson and Carl King. Two thugs who thought that their size and strength meant that they should have free reign to pick on smaller smarter students like Peter, Flash had gotten himself suspended when he tried using an unflattering alliterative nickname for Peter so that budded that in the back because one suspension for that language was already bad enough for Flash's aspirations of being a pro sports star.

"Flash and Carl laugh at me and shove at me when they can get away with it, says that science is for losers." Peter muttered but then Susan then smiled as she put a hand on his shoulder.

"Well if you ask me they are just jealous because when you are my age you will have already been chosen to go to a school like mine with universities and labs waiting for their chance to snatch you up while they will be doing night janitor duty in some place after being kicked out of school or dropping out. Keep working hard and it will take you places; take it from someone who was bullied at your age as well." Susan told him and Peter was surprised. "I am dead serious; while my classmates went on sleepovers and parties I was focused on studying. I was quite shy and didn't know how to speak to my classmates and they called me the 'invisible girl'. I am not saying not to have a social life Peter but hard work does pay off." Susan explained sighing at the memory and Peter looked better as his smile returned.

"That's the spirit Peter, someone as adorable as you shouldn't look so down. I bet when you are my age you will have girls fighting over who gets to be your prom date. Peter Parker the future lady killer." Susan told him kissing his forehead while his cheeks reddened.

"Yuck Susan! You do that and I thought that he was your favorite brother!" Johnny yelled as Susan shook his head at the hothead.

"Johnny, what does it say when I spend more time with your best friend than you do lately?" Susan asked turning her head from him and Peter noticed at the last minute Johnny throwing a mug at Susan that he caught by a last time.

"Wow Peter, nice reaction time and Johnny you should be lucky that Peter stopped it. You are going to get in trouble for that and I promise you that I will back Mum and Dad up when they suggest you pay back Ben and May to replace the mug!" Susan shouted at him and Johnny just humphed.

Susan shook his head wondering if the two of them could reignite their friendship one day or if Johnny can grow up beyond the hotheaded thrill seeker.

You know they long establish that merchandise for the heroes in the Marvel Universe exist within the universe. I wonder if that is true for the villains since in-universe there existing Red Skull figures to go with Captain America figures would be like if in toy shops they sold figures of Hitler or the plenty of fascist dictators out there. Plus I bet that if any toy company dared to release unauthorized Dr Doom figures then Doom would send missiles to utterly destroy the company buildings out of nothing more than shear spite. Okay I can see them releasing figures of the HYDRA people during that time HYDRA was ruling the US in Secret Empire or them releasing Sentinel figures to promote anti-mutant propaganda but other than that...

In this version of the Marvel Universe the F4 would have their origin 5 years later with the 4 sneaking in to do the rocket launch unauthorized like in canon, the still underage Johnny blackmailing the others into letting him tag along by snitching out their plan.
