CHAPTER 10
Back at Bowser and Ganon's Castle, Luigi wakes up in a strange room, tied to a table.
"Where...where am I?" Asks Luigi.
Suddenly a large creature appears in front of him.
"Welcome to my dungeon, boy" says a high pitched shrill voice.
"Who are you?" asks Luigi.
"You should stop asking stupid questions, boy" the voice responds "Because you're looking like my pet's lunch!"
Kammy lights up the dungeon with her wand. "Welcome to the inner dungeons of Castle Hyrule, Luigi. This is where the Hyrulians imprison their cruelest and most terrifying monsters!"
Luigi looks around. "This place is creepy."
"I know right!" Kammy exclaims, then smirks. "Oh forgive me, I'm being rude to our guest. You two haven't met, have you?"
The large lizard-like creature stares at Luigi, drool dripping from its mouth.
"That's the mighty "King Dodongo"" Kammy explains. "Finally imprisoned after several campaigns to destroy Hyrule while aligned with Ganon...and now that he's under our control. He has made quite the effective garbage disposal for worthless beings!"
King Dodongo roars in Luigi's face. "Isn't he cute?" Says Kammy as she strokes King Dodongo's back, the monster panting like a dog.
"What are you doing?" asks Luigi.
"Being my usual charming self" says Kammy. "He's my pet, who's a good boy?! Oh who's a good boy?! Does Kingie want a treat?! Does Kingie want a treat?! Ok, Kingie! Open wide!"
King Dodongo opens his mouth. Kammy uses her wand to magically dangle one of Burnscar's crew above King Dodongo's open mouth.
"P-please! I'm sorry we couldn't finish them off! Please don't do this!"
"Go get your meal Kingie!" Kammy sings.
She then throws the Fire Bro into the darkness. King Dodongo chases after him, screaming is soon heard.
"Don't worry," says Kammy. "Poor guy won't last long. It's an utter maze down here! Only "I" know the way out!" Kammy laughs maniacally as King Dodongo returns carrying the remains of the Fire Bro in his mouth.
"Oh, you should see him when he's angry!" She chuckles.
"I'd rather not" Luigi states.
"No worries," Kammy assures him. "You'll be safe with me...as long as you tell us what we want to know."
"W-what would that be?" Asks Luigi.
"Lord Bowser and Ganon are looking to expand their forces..." Explains Kammy "...and they're looking to expand into... Sarasaland. I think you're well acquainted with the princess there."
"Yes, I've been to Sarasaland many times during my travels. I love the culture and the people."
"That's good," Kammy says. "Well since you know that, maybe you can help us...in taking down your girlfriend's castle!"
Luigi lifts his head up, surprised by the sudden revelation. "My Girlfriend?"
"Yes, your girlfriend," Kammy clarifies. "The Princess of Sarasaland! Princess Daisy!"
"I'd never let you, or your ridiculous friends, touch a hair on Daisy's head!" Luigi defiantly announces. "I'll use whatever means necessary to prevent you from ever harming her!"
"Oh my goodness, you're quite the hero!" laughs Kammy. "We'll have to ask him to join our ranks, eh Kingie?!"
The giant Dodongo begins laughing in a beastly manner. "Maybe a few minutes in the maze will make you change your mind!" yells Kammy as she teleports Luigi somewhere with a dark corridor with several twists and turns.
"I'll be right here! Waiting for you to give up! Fetch Kingie!" yells Kammy somewhere in the distance as King Dodongo's earth trembling footsteps can be heard in the distance.
Back with Bowser and Ganon, they are incredibly upset with Burnscar's failure.
"Your crew is being fed to King Dodongo as we speak!" says Ganon. "Be grateful we are merciful to those who beg for forgiveness."
"Y-ye can't do that! What be a captain without a crew? I've be traveling with them for years." cries Burnscar.
"It's okay," says Bowser. "We'll just get other crews to replace them."
"But their families-" protests Burnscar.
"Families are worthless!" yells Bowser. "I had a family once too you know! Eight kids! Seven boys! One girl! If "family" taught me anything, it's that they're just incredibly loyal but overall useless buffoons!"
"You sound bitter," says Burnscar.
"I don't care!" Bowser shouts. "They're dead to me. Dead to everyone! They didn't stop me from becoming who I am today!" Bowser begins going on a tantrum, destroying things in the room. When Bowser eventually calms down, Ganon approaches Burnscar.
"Your crew died because they were stupid, weak, and cowardly." warns Ganon. "However, you still have some form of potential by realizing who holds the real power in our army. Because of that...I'm giving you one more chance."
"Thank you, Your majesty!" cries Burnscar.
Ganon gives Burnscar a dirty look. "Then prove yourself useful. You are dealing with an enemy that threatens our plans. A force that can potentially ruin everything we've worked so hard to achieve. You will need a strong ally to take them down! That is why I'm sending another general to accompany you this time! You'll be joined by the perfect individual to assist in this escapade! Me!"
Burnscar looks up. "You?! You will be accompanying me?!"
Ganon laughs, "Heavens, no. I mean my Phantom will accompany you...DOOPLISS!"
Doopliss floats into the room and salutes, transforming into Phantom Ganon.
"If you somehow fail, with a replica of ME by your side." Ganon states. "Let's just say you and your crew will be sharing a very similar fate."
Phantom Ganon gives Burnscar a nasty grin, "Now slick, if we're ready to begin?"
"Yar Har" Burnscar replies.
"Right then, slick" Phantom Ganon states. "Let us be off!
Phantom Ganon opens a portal, he and Burnscar enter it. The portal closes soon afterwards.
"Bowser," Ganon says. "How has your genocide of the Blue Toads gone?"
"Not great" grumbles Bowser. "They led to some place in Hyrule called "Zoo-Ray's" Domain."
"It's pronounced "Zora"." Ganon says, putting his hand to his forehead. "I really should have aligned with a smarter second in command…Although I doubt it'll matter. There are only a few dozen Blue Toads left. It's not like they can-"
A hammer bro runs in "Your Majesties! Your Majesties! The Blue Toads have escaped underwater! They can breathe underwater!"
"What?!" screams Ganon.
"Yes, underwater" says the Hammer Bro.
"That's impossible!" Screams Ganon. "They must've learned that trait from the Zora!"
Ganon turns around to think...then chuckles to himself. "Well, I suppose we can send the Morpheel after them, can't we?"
Ganon turns back around to the Hammer Bro. "Thank you so much my boy...report to Kammy in the Dungeon Maze for further instructions"
The Hammer Bro salutes and runs off...not realizing the grave implications of his assignment.
"Now, this is a plan I can get behind!" cackles Ganon.
"Yes, it should work out splendidly" adds Bowser.
