CHAPTER 14
The Morpheel lets out a mighty roar as Link fires a hook shot at the eye in its forehead and begins slashing at it!
"We need to free the Toads before they die!" Peach tells Link. "Can you help me, Link?!"
Link nods and they both dive towards the Morpheel's Stomach, however the Morpheel summons some Piranhas to attack Peach and Link.
"Link, you handle those!" says Peach.
Link swats the Piranhas away with his sword. Peach then uses her ice flower to freeze them. "Thank you," she says. "Stand back!" she yells at the Toads who get away from the stomach lining. Link slashes open the Morpheel's stomach, and several Blue Toads swim out. Link and Peach help free the Toads.
"Get Out! Get out while you still can! Find a Crystal to teleport yourselves!" Peach orders the Toads.
The Toads comply and flee from the monster. Soon Zelda, Naranjo, and Yashil emerge from its stomach.
"Are you okay?" asks Peach.
"Yeah...Thanks" says Naranjo, grunts.
"We have to leave this place," says Yashil.
"No!" Zelda yells "We have to kill this Morpheel first! Link! Do your thing!"
Link nods and fires another hook shot at the eye, slashing it again!
"Now!" screams Zelda.
Yashl and Naranjo fire arrows into the Morpheel's eye, but they forget they are underwater, no damage can be done. The Morpheel roars and swats Link away, emerging from the ground to reveal its colossal size!
"That's not good," Peach says.
Link gets ready to battle the beast, but it takes off into the air with a powerful flap of its fins!
"Link! It's getting away!" Peach cries.
Link hooks himself to the beast and begins slashing at its eye once more!
"It's not working!" Peach says.
"We need to find another way to defeat it," says Yashil.
Meanwhile Naranjo has placed some explosives at some columns around the Morpheel's chamber. "This should bring that beast down!" he shouts to Yashil.
Then he goes to the entrance of the room and blows up the pillars. They begin to fall on the Morpheel. Keeping it in place, Link takes one final stab through the monster's eyes. Finally killing it.
The room begins to rumble, the floor gives out from underneath, soon the Morpheel sinks into the dark abyss below.
"What happened?" asks Peach.
"The Morpheel is dead" says Zelda. "It can no longer harm anyone, anymore."
"The Rainbow Alliance swims to a group of five crystals and touches them. They are brought back into the Blue Toad King's Throne Room to the cheers of all the Toads they saved.
"Thank you for saving us," says the King.
"It was nothing," says Peach. "In exchange, we would like to request something in return."
Zelda steps up and explains the Morpheel was sent by Lord Ganon and how he has teamed up with Bowser, Peach requires the Blue Toads to unite with the Red Toads.
"You want us to team up with those guys?" asks the King.
"If we don't," Zelda says. "Lord Ganon and Bowser will be able to conquer the whole kingdom and rule over every single Toad, Yoshi, Hylian, and anything else they can think of!"
"I would join you," says the King. "However, I am old and can no longer travel as I once could in my youth" he says. "I want you to take my daughter, Princess Azura, with you and lead the Blue Toads against Lord Ganon and Bowser." He turns to the Zora Woman. "If that is acceptable to you, my dear Princess."
"Of course, Father!" she replies.
Princess Azura walks towards Peach and Zelda and bows.
"You have saved our Kingdom, and thus I am your humble servant. With me by your side, I can convince the Zora to aid in your journey"
Zelda and Peach bow in return.
"You shall be rewarded for your service to our Kingdom" says the King.
"Thank you," says Peach.
The newly expanded Rainbow Alliance walk out of the throne room and towards the exit, they touch a crystal and are warped back to the underwater Blue Toad Castle. Eventually swimming back to one of the camps.
"Great job everyone!" says Zelda. "You did a great job today! It's time for us to rest up for tomorrow! Goodnight!"
They sleep
The next day Zelda awakes and sees Azura speaking to a large fish near the beach, it heads out to the ocean..
"Good morning Azura!" says Zelda.
Azura turns around. "Morning! How are you feeling?"
"A lot better than waking up in a Morpheel " she replies. "Though, I'm surprised to see you here. What were you just doing?"
"Sending out a messenger fish," answers Azura. "I'm sending it to bring us some means of travel. It is still quite a ways from the Sea of Trees you mentioned last night."
"Right, our only means of transport was destroyed in that storm." Zelda says.
"I believe it should arrive any moment now" says Azura as she points to a large sailboat approaching the shore.
"Well, I hope you're right," Zelda says. "Because if we have to walk all the way there, it'll take forever!"
"Well it's a continent surrounded by water" Azura corrects Zelda, "It'll be a long swim. Either way, there's our ride."
"Ahoy there!" says the friendly captain. "Will ye be needing a lift?!"
Zelda and Azura awaken the rest of their party and set sail off into the ocean.
As the Rainbow Alliance sets off, it seems they're being watched by a malicious trio in their own ship. It's Phantom Ganon, Captain Burnscar, and now Dark Mario.
"You're late, slick" Phantom Ganon tells Dark Mario
"I'm well aware," Dark Mario replies. "The False Master shall take the blame for this."
"We don't need ye help!" says Burnscar. "We can handle that team on our own!"
Phantom Ganon ignores him and addresses the crew. "Get ready for battle" he says.
"Ready when you are, Phantom Master," replies Dark Mario "As are they."
Dark Mario opens the hull of the ship, revealing dozens of ReDeads desperately clawing for their next meal.
"Then let's be off to the Sea of Trees!" Burnscar yells as they make their way to the island before the party can.
