CHAPTER 21

"Where are those cretins?!" Bowser asks impatiently to Ganon while they wait for their three generals to arrive.

"Bowser, we'll have to accept they aren't coming back." Ganon says disappointed. "Which means Peach must have united all the Toads".

"I hate this!" Bowser snarls. "She's got a plan to unite both the Mushroom Kingdom and Hyrule against us!"

Ganon smiles.

"What are you smiling about?!" Bowser asks.

"That just means when we defeat them, both their Kingdoms will be ours." Ganon explains. "Besides we still have something she doesn't."

"Oh yeah?" Bowser asks. "What's that?"

"Power!" Ganon smirks. "Specifically the Triforce of Power."

"I'll show you what power is!" Bowser laughs. "When I'm done with Peach, there will be no stopping me!"

"No stopping US!" Ganon corrects. "I'm afraid you'll have to face my power first."

Ganon points to the night sky.

"Look up, Bowser. See that?"

"What am I looking for?"

"Take a look at the moon if you will."

Bowser looks up at the moons…..wait moons? Bowser remembers there's only one moon on their planet. One of them is much closer than the other.

"With the Triforce of Power." says Ganon. "I can control and manipulate all things. Including the Moon!''

One of the moons turns to reveal it's the Moon of Majora.

"I'll turn it back when we've acquired the remaining two pieces of the Triforce."

"You better not screw this up!" Bowser warns.

"Don't worry, your precious Peach will be a goner when she arrives" Ganon assures.

Luigi wanders the Prison Maze until he finally sees some light around the corner. He turns the corner and sees Kammy waiting at the entrance., presumably for her precious King Dodongo to return.

"Luigi!" she says with a startle. "How'd you survive against King Dodongo?!"

"I was following the light!" he laughs. "Looks like he is too!"

Kammy rolls her eyes and prepares her wand. "Bowser and Ganon will be rather cross with me if I let you escape! So prepare yourself!"

Luigi takes off his cap and wipes the sweat from his brow, he charges toward Kammy! However, Kammy raises her wand and freezes time.

"Ooh!" She says in excitement as she watches Luigi freeze in place.

"Wah!" He gasps in terror as he looks around. "This is the worst day ever!"

Suddenly Mario busts down the door, rushes in, and attacks Kammy!

"Get her, bro!" Luigi yells.

Mario's hands burn with fire as he launches a massive fireball at Kammy!

She dodges and then uses her magic to freeze time!

"Ha ha!" She laughs. "You can't stop the flow of time! It works on all beings of this dimension!"

Mario suddenly jumps out of the spell.

"What?!" Kammy yells. "You're free?! How?!"

Mario doesn't respond, he just takes Kammy's wand and snaps it like a twig.

"So you think you're clever huh?" Kammy says.

He grabs the top of her head and thrusts the wand pieces up her nostrils! Kammy gasps in pain.

"OWWWW!"

"Sorry, Kammy," Luigi says with a laugh. "I didn't realize he had that kind of strength!"

Kammy coughs up the pieces of the wand and spits them at Mario's feet.

"M-mercy!" Kammy grovels at Mario's feet. "I swear I'll never use magic again!"

Mario picks up the pieces of the wand and places them inside of his overalls pockets. He then picks up Kammy and tosses her into a jail cell. He locks it for good measure. He leaves the Dungeon without saying a word to Luigi.

"Hey!" Luigi calls out. "Wait up Bro!" as he chases his brother who doesn't even acknowledge him.

Mario begins running and Luigi pursues him.

"HEY!" Luigi yells. "Wait! Look, I almost died today, you know! Now you're going off to fight Bowser and Ganon without me because you're mad at me!"

Mario stops and turns around to Luigi. He points to a big bell tower and motions for Luigi to follow him.

Luigi sighs. "Fine." He walks after Mario.

The two continue until they reach a small pond in the castle. Some lily pads look big enough to jump on.

"This part should be fun!" says Luigi as he hops across them. He turns back to look at Mario...who takes the long way around.

Bowser and Ganon are preparing their soldiers for the eventual battle with the Toads in the Castle's Training Grounds.

"Are you ready?" Bowser asks.

"As always," Ganon says. "This will be cake."

Bowser laughs. "I'm afraid for Peach and Zelda, the look on their faces when they see us is going to be priceless!"

"I suppose I feel some pity towards your Princess, '' Ganon says. "However, Zelda and Link deserve all we shall do to them! When we have all three pieces of the Triforce, our greatest wishes shall be granted!"

"Our wishes?" Bowser asks. "What do you mean?"

Ganon grimaces.

"My dear partner, I'm talking about becoming the most powerful beings in both our kingdoms!"

"You're insane!"

Ganon suddenly lifts his trident at Bowser's neck. "Insane enough to share power with you. You have no idea just how powerful the Triforce can be when we put all three of them together!"

Bowser licks his lips. "When we have them, we shall become Gods!"

"Yes! We shall rule over everything!"

Suddenly a screen pings and a large round shadowy figure appears upon it.

"Greetings, Bowser, Ganon" it starts. "I just wanted to thank you for dropping off your present. He has been the most excellent to experiment on!"

"With pleasure" Bowser and Ganon say in unison.

"It seems he is far more intelligent than I originally expected. I'm glad I decided to give him something to play with. My own worst nemesis! I can't wait to see the fireworks!" the shadowy figure says with glee. "Anyway, how are you enjoying MY present to you all? Has anyone suspected anything yet?"

"Not a chance!" Bowser and Ganon say in unison.

"Good, good." The shadowy figure says with a chuckle. "Now I must leave you alone. I have to get ready for some obnoxious animal visitors. Mr. E over and out!"

The screen shuts off as Bowser and Ganon turn to their troops who fill the room.

"Members of my army and the Koopa Troop! Our most important battle will soon be at hand!" Declares Ganon. "We must stay strong and determined! We must defeat all those pesky Toads!"

"Right," Bowser replies. "Once they are defeated, we shall take all their Kingdoms for ourselves!"

"Anyone who survives and successfully nips this siege in the bud, shall be greatly rewarded!" declares Ganon.

Both Bowser and Ganon's respective armies cheer!
