CHAPTER 41
7 Hours Remain…
Bowser launches a giant magical orb into the air, making it explode into a rain of fireballs!
"We can't let Bowser destroy this world!" Daisy says. She fires her Bob-omb Cannon at Bowser, the bomb exploding in a flash. It barely affects Bowser.
"DIE!" Bowser roars, launching another fireball. This time Daisy dodges it, firing her Bob-omb Cannon again. She shoots a line of bombs that surround Bowser and detonate around him. Bowser laughs at her.
"Now, now, Daisy, why are you wasting your good explosives on me?" Bowser asks. "I can use the Three-Force of Power to make any explosion I want!" He demonstrates by making the ground beneath Daisy's feet explode, causing her to fall into a hole.
"Doesn't mean we won't stop trying!" Azura says summoning a spear, Yashil calls upon lightning to enchant her spear and she throws it at Giga Bowser.
Giga Bowser takes the hit, laughing even harder.
"Ha! Ha! Ha! HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!HA!" He laughs. "That tickled! Watch! I can make a spear of my own!" He summons a trident made of pure lightning and throws it at Yashil and Azura. Maxil grabs onto them and has them teleport before the trident can hit them.
"We're safe," Yashil says. Before Bowser's tail knocks them into a wall.
"Hey! Stop moving!" Bowser laughs. He uses his new trident to pin them to the wall, laughing all the while.
"I'm the strongest!" Bowser says. "I'm the greatest! Bow down before your new king!"
"I will NEVER bow down to the likes of ye!" Burnscar says. He summons a circle of fire around Giga Bowser. Bowser laughs, he waves his hands in front of him and sends bolts of lightning at Burnscar. "You'll have to do better than that!" Burnscar says. He creates two balls of fire and throws them at Bowser. Bowser simply jumps up into the air!
"You won't win this fight, Koopa Clown Car!" A gigantic version of Bowser's Signature Clown Car is summoned by Bowser as he lands in it. He presses a button and several weapons pop out of it.
"Two can play at this game!" Burnscar declares. "Airship!"
Naranjo has managed to take control of the airship that Burnscar once helmed, Burnscar jumps on and they take to the skies. "All cannons aimed at the target! Awaiting orders...General!" Naranjo announces.
"Fire!" Burnscar commands.
The cannons on both sides fire simultaneously, shooting hundreds of shells at their target. As they watch, they notice Bowser's Clown Car is beginning to take damage.
"Let's finish this!" Naranjo declares, smashing a button that has a Blue Shell on it. Suddenly all of Burnscar's Cannons morph and fire flying spiked blue shells toward Bowser's Clown Car!
Bowser's clown car explodes and the remaining parts of it crash into the ground, making a massive crater in the earth.
"General! That was an awesome shot!" Daisy says.
"Thank you!" Naranjo and Burnscar speak in unison.
"Oh booooys!" A low growling voice is heard. Bowser lands on the ground perfectly unharmed. "You didn't think destroying a mere clown copter was going to be bring me down did you?!" Bowser laughs. "You know what? I'd rather watch you die slowly!" Giga Bowser laughs, making his skin begin to glow purple. He begins spewing dark matter all over the ground, everyone but Link, Zelda, and Peach sink into it.
"Are you sure you don't want to fight me yourself, Giga Bowser?!" Peach says. Firing a beam of red light at Bowser's face, this attack does actual damage to him.
"Really?!" Bowser roars. "You actually think you can defeat me with that? I'm not some weakling like my wimpy kids!"
Zelda a large Arrow of Light at Bowser. The arrow hits him right between the eyes, causing him to scream in pain and fall to his knees.
"Whoa! You're stronger than I thought!" Bowser says. "Enough games! I'm going to crush-"
Link has jumped onto Bowser's back and has begun slashing at his head with the Master Sword!
"Don't touch me with that cursed blade!" Bowser screams, grabbing Link "I bet that weapon of yours will make for a fine toothpick!" He says with a sadistic grin.
He cannot follow through on his threat as he's hit by another light beam from Peach and another Light Arrow from Zelda. He drops Link, who safely maneuvers his body around the rubble to break his fall.
"My turn!" Bowser says, charging up a Dark Ball. "Come at me! I'll show you what happens when a King is challenged!"
He blasts it into the ground, it summons a wave of Dark Matter headed straight to Link and Zelda!
"Get ready!" Zelda yells.
She and Link hold hands, as they do, a wave of light slashes down the wave of dark matter!
"What?!" Bowser cries. "How did you stop that attack?!"
"That's the power of the Goddesses!" Peach declares. "Even someone as strong as you cannot stand the light of the Goddesses!"
Zelda fires a green light beam at Bowser. "Light of the Goddesses! Purify the darkness within Bowser!"
Peach fires a blue light beam. "Embrace my light! Purify the evil within this creature!" Peach fires a giant multicolor beam of light at Bowser!
"GAH!" Bowser screams. "No! NO! STOP IT! STOP! YOU'RE KILLING ME! AAHHH! AHHHH!"
Bowser spews black smoke everywhere and fades away.
"Now isn't that something?" Zelda says. "We did-"
The giant hand of Giga Bowser grabs both Link and Zelda, Bowser laughs as the smoke fades. While he has taken massive damage, he is still far from defeated.
"I have to admit, you've gotten pretty powerful, Peach." Bowser says. "I'm afraid there's no stopping me now! Here it comes! The ultimate power of Bowser!" Bowser closes his eyes and a bright light shines through his palm, Link and Zelda's complexions begin to pale until they pass out. Bowser throws them to the ground.
"Let's make this one on one a little more even, shall we?" A newly invigorated Bowser says, raising his fist. Revealing he also has one half of the Tri-Forces of Power, Wisdom, and Courage.
