Metropolis
Within Metropolis, the city across from Gotham by bridge or road, we see within one of the gardens of events reaching its end that Scarecrow had informed and shown to be true for the red-haired goddess of nature.
Hush's plans for brainwashing and controlling the Man of Steel with powerful pheromones mix with a special green rock that can harm or even worst to alien super-hero. The Dark Knight amount with a certain cat thief who could come along after dealing with a few trouble in Gotham that lead to Metropolis which lead to a small fight with Ivy and later a big fight with Superman in order to force the pheromones out of his system which works when a certain reporter/love interest was in danger.
However, before things went down, Joseph/Scarecrow had started to make his plans and counter plans play in motion. Like one, He was able to work on something very special for a certain clown, new toxins for that bastard to suffer greatly after hearing what has been happening to his ex of late and saw the damage happening. Sadly that toxin was placed on hold as he learn more about the deal that Hush strike up with Ivy and kept spying on her, after their talk and know the heroes & kitty will come after her.
"Time to play Scarecrow, my friend," Joseph said within the shadows of the gardens as he put his mask and hood on while petting his crow on his shoulder. Time to enter the show and take the stage as his own.
Just before Batman, Superman, or Catwoman questioned the awakened Poison Ivy, something happened as a flock of crows came bursting into the garden and blocked the three visions for a bit until the Crow Master comes forward, the new player who uses fear himself, Scarecrow.
"Now that's not very nice to treat a lady, Dark Knight, Man of Steel. Now while Kitty had the right for that," Scarecrow commented, petting his pet crow on his shoulders and walking into view, mentioning the punch that Catwoman did to Poison Ivy not too long ago.
"Who's side on you on?" Poison Ivy asked.
"Not much as I can't help, my dear Gaia," Scarecrow simply replied as he helped the red-haired beauty up on her feet and hold her close.
"As much I would love to explain my reasons for helping you, Batman, but I won't and let you figure that...If you can," Scarecrow said, thinking the last part in his mind.
"That's not going to happen, Scarecrow. She's going to explain on who's she working for and back to Arkham," Batman stated or rather demanded.
"Hmm...yeah, no," Scarecrow said before throwing a small black ball on the ground and blowing up, a powerful yellow gas smoke was unleashed onto the heroes and thief.
The yellow gas came so fast and affected the trio, showing them a powerful and real-like vision before their eyes. They saw and felt master of nature and fear attacking them or themselves attacking each other. It was so real and felt until they blinked their eyes and saw that was just an illusion made from the yellow gas, fading away as the gas fades away and showed that the pair have disappeared.
Scarecrow and Poison Ivy have left when the gas was released and the trio was left with questions about this sudden disappearing act. And one of them was answered as they heard the crow speaking.
"I should watch out for Hush...He is driven by rage, madness, and jealousy towards you, Batman...He would make his way soon...be ready," The voice of Scarecrow echoed through the gardens which the Man of Steel found the voice being a recorded tape that was left behind in Scarecrow's pace. Now more questions were coming up, like who is Scarecrow and how does he know about Hush? Good questions would be answered by the Dark Knight or given to him soon.
Meanwhile
Gotham
"There we are. We should be safe here, my dear. The gas would be removed by now," Scarecrow said as he lead the red-haired beauty to one of his hideouts/lars within the city.
"Yes, indeed. What was that gas as it smelled like rare flowers?" Poison Ivy asked, remembering the scent of yellow gas that was unleashed onto Batman, Superman, and Catwoman.
"A few rare plants and flowers that cause small mind alternation along a small amount of my fear toxin," Scarecrow answered, seeing no harm in that as he enjoys working on his garden and
"Impressive," Poison Ivy commented, impressive on how Joseph would use plants to mix into his chemicals uses and can feel that he takes great care of them.
"Yes, we will be safe here, my dear Gaia, and relax. Don't worry, Hush won't find us here," Scarecrow said, sounding friendly and concerned for someone very close to him, more ways.
Scarecrow would leave to get changed and out of his mask & suit, not noticing the smirk growing on Poison Ivy's face and deeper feelings growing more & more towards him. It was only manner of time now.
