Thank you everyone for reviewing this story over the years. I know that's it been a very long time since I've updated anything on my profile and I really appreciate all the encouragement to continue writing.
When I started this story, and actually all of my other ones I was a teenager. As time went by I finished school, got a full time job, got married, and had a kid, so the time I could set aside to write got smaller and smaller.
Chronicles of Merlin is a story that has been percolating in my mind for about ten years, so I have a pretty good idea how I want it to go and how I can improve upon it.
I have a lot more free time than I used to, so I'm really excited about getting back into this story and I think I will be able to post a new chapter about every 2-3 weeks.
In the next couple of weeks I'm going to be posting an updated version of the story, but I will leave the original one up for anyone that would still like to read the original.
The overall story will be the same, but it will be significantly expanded upon, especially Harry's first year, and some of they events will be re-arranged to better fit into the story.
Some of the regrets I have about Harry's characterization is that mentally he was already basically an adult and he behaved how I wanted him to be at the end of the story rather than the beginning. In this version he will be very much working towards being that person.
I also think making Draco, Ron, Hermione and Harry friends from the beginning was a mistake, those friendships would have been better if they were earned and there was at least some initial conflict to their relationships.
Please keep an eye out for the new version which I will be tentatively calling the Legacy of Merlin, and thank you again for your encouragement.
