Naoto was sitting at his stool in front of everyone. "Now that the Hallway is seemingly clear of Zombies, it should be safe for us to explore." He noted.

While he didn't like the idea of going out an risking an attack, he knew they couldn't stay here for much longer without food or resources.

Gamo chimed in. "If we're going to explore, shouldn't we look around the room for anything useful? We might even find something we can use as a weapon."

Naoto, Riku and Haru nodded in unison. "I don't think there's really much here that we can make use of, but it won't hurt to try." Naoto responded.

The group stood up as they began to scout the room for any kind of useful resource. With the size of the room, they couldn't really have high hopes of finding something, but having something was better than being empty handed.

As everyone rummaged around trough the room, Naoto entered the Supply Room at the back, before closing it.

"F-Finally some silence." He muttered as he rumbled trough the lockers and tables by himself. He didn't really even know what they were looking for. Weapons? Food? He honestly had no idea. But whatever they were looking for, it wasn't here.

"G-G-God..." Naoto had been looking for anything useful in the room for a few minutes, but was still not finding anything. It was starting to frustrate him, as a lack of supplies meant they'd have to explore the school unarmed for now.

"God...God..." He felt a mix of emotions rush trough his body. Fear? Anger? Confusion? The most logical answer was that it was a combination of all of it.

"God...fucking dammit!"

He yelled at the top of his lungs, lunging his fist at the locker repeatedly. He knew this would do him no good. In fact, with how frail he was, he might even injure himself. But he didn't care. There were too many pent up emotions at this very moment inside of him. Too many for him to care.

The slams against the locker could be heard from outside the room, which Nagatoro was the first to pick up. What was going on in there? Was Senpai being attacked? Panicked, she rushed into the room, slamming the door open. "Senpai!" She shouted right before she saw him angrily continue to slam his fist against the wall.

His knuckle was already red from the repeated impact against the steel surface, and she could tell that it wouldn't take many more hits before bleeding might become a risk.

"Senpai..." She tried to speak to him, but he didn't pick up on a single thing she said, simply continuing to let his anger out against the locker. Nagatoro tried again, raising her voice considerably this time.

"Senpai!" He still didn't respond, continuing his outburst as his hand got more and more red with every punch.

"SENPAI!!" Nagatoro shouted at the top of her lungs, finally getting Naoto's attention as he turned towards her, before fully stopping his punches. He held his knuckle in pain with his other hand, groaning at the pain. "W-What, Nagatoro?" He asked her nonchalantly.

Nagatoro could tell that he was in a complicated state as she slowly approached him. "What are you doing? You're just going to hurt yourself." Naoto looked down at his fist.

"I know. I know, but I just... I couldn't hold it in. I'm sorry. I'm aware I look like a loser right now." He stated. "It's just that there's simply nothing here of use. It's frustrating. There's not really anything we can use to defend ourselves with, let alone food." He remarked, sitting on the floor and leaning on the locker.

Nagatoro sat down next to him. "Don't worry. I'm sure the others will find something. Don't beat yourself up about it." She tried to comfort him, to which Naoto looked at her confused.

"Nagatoro... you're talking so casually. Ar-...aren't you scared?" He asked. Nagatoro looked down at the floor beneath her.

"It's not that I'm not scared, but in this situation, cowering and stuttering around won't do much to help our case. I think it's best to remain at least a little bit of normality." She answered. Naoto responded with a smile as he stood back up. "Yeah. I guess you're right. Let's keep looking."

A fire extinguisher, a wooden bat used for modeling, and some water bottles in the back of the supply. This was all that the group could find trough their combined scouting.

Naoto sighed, looking at what little they had gathered. "It's not much, but it should do. Does anyone here know how to handle a bat?" He asked, to which Haru instantly raised his hand. "I've been playing baseball since I was a kid, so I should be fine." He said, snatching the bat and stuffing it into his backpack.

They didn't really know who to give the fire extinguisher to, simply handing it off to Nagatoro as she had already used it previously.

"W-well, if that's all that we have for now, I think it's time we start working out an idea of where to go first." Naoto said.

"Hachioji-Senpai. You said the cafeteria was where the Infection started, but the Zombies must've already left that area as there probably no more people there. If we want to find food, we should go there first." Hana chimed in.

It seemed like a good idea. There wasn't much else they could use in the school except for any kind of food that might still be usable at the cafeteria. Gamo nodded.

"Yeah, that sounds like a plan." She said, picking up her backpack. "We should head out quickly, or else some of the uncanned food might go bad." Everyone agreed, repeating what she did before leaving the Art Room for now, planning to regroup there after picking enough supplies.

Seeing as they were practically right bellow the Cafeteria, getting to it was no problem. They were even lucky enough as to not encounter any Zombies.

Finally making their way to the cafeteria, they noticed just how messed up the aftermath was. The floor was still wet from the fire alarm, with tables and chairs thrown all over the place. The worst thing was the rancid smell of blood mixed with the water and oils from the pans that had spilled during the attacks.

The smell made almost everyone in the group want to puke, but they all touched it out and made their way to the kitchen.

The kitchen wasn't as much of a mess as the Cafeteria itself, but it was still pretty bad. Pots and pans were thrown all over the place, causing somewhat of an inconvenience, as stepping on them would make a lot of noise. Naoto and the others, knowing that they had to act quickly, decided to split up. Naoto, Nagatoro, Yoshi and Gamo decided to tackle everything inside the freezer, while Haru, Riku, Sakura and Hana headed for the shelves, which were stocked up with fruits and canned goods.

Inside the freezer, Naoto and the group found mostly frozen meat. While it was helpful, it would most definitely go to waste quickly if they didn't cook it. The freezer also had some ice cubes, which could probably be melted into water later on, as well as bags of frozen peas and other vegetables.

Meanwhile, Hana and her group had found a lot more to pick up in the shelves. From potatoes, to mushrooms, to canned goods, the diversity I'm ingredients seemed impressive for a school cafeteria. If they somehow found some type of soil, they migh even be able to grow some harvest.

After looking everything into their backpacks, the group met up back togheter. Riku was holding the backpack with the shelf supplies while Gamo was holding the freezer ones.

As they were about to head out, Hana signaled everyone to get down behind the counter that split the cafeteria and the Kitchen. From getting small peeks, the group could notice that a few Zombies had made their way back, apparently having heard the sounds they were making while packing in everything.

Hoping not to have to fight anyone, the group decided to attempt to sneak by. Crouching on their feet, the group attempted to lay low and get out without the Zombies noticing.

As they were about to get out of the Zombies vicinity, Riku slipped on a small puddle that had formed on the floor, slipping against a chair and making a lot of noise, getting the attention of these but probably other Zombies nearby.

The group didn't have time to plan and simply booked it, but Hana noticed that Riku was having trouble getting up. She quickly turned back to everyone's surprise, lending Riku a hand.

Riku seemed to be about to take her hand and get up, before he pulled her by the wrist, using her to push himself back up and pushing her back closer to the Zombies. He quickly ran past everyone, still holding the backpack with the supplies, as he was too quick to catch on time.

Naoto looked in distress as the Zombies approached Hana, who was slowly getting up and trying to make some distance. Luckily, Gamo ran in, using the bats tip to push the Zombies back repeatedly and holding them at bay as Hana finally stood up and began running.

Gamo finally swung the bat, knocking a few of the Zombies out before retreating. As the group tried to make their way up the stairs, they noticed that a group of Zombies were guarding them.

An idea instantly popped into Nagatoro's head, as she pressed the handle on the fire extinguisher, blinding the Zombies as they pushed forward.

Finally in the third floor, they ran into the Art-Room, closing the door behind them. Everyone recovered their breath from exhaustion.

"Fuck. This wasn't how it was supposed to go. Now that asshole has all of our supplies." Gamo remarked before the door slid open, as Riku jumped in.

"Holy fucking shit. I actually got out alive." He smirked, turning back around to the group, who were giving him stares of surprise and anger.

Hana was the first one to approach, yelling right at his face. "You...asshole! You almost killed me! And you took our shit!" She was understandably pissed at him.

"Alright, I'm sorry. It was an accident. And I came back anyways, so what's the big deal?" He responded, but it was obviously that he didn't even manage to lie to himself. He had obviously pushed her back in order to try and distract the Zombies as he got away.

Naoto looked at the both as they argued back and forth, before looking at Sakura. Her face seemed worried, almost like she had noticed something no one else had. "Sakura? What's wro-"

He was about to finish his question when he realized what she was staring at. Riku had been covering his right arm ever since he entered the room, and he could tell that the spot he was covering was slightly red.

"Riku...why are you covering your arm?" Naoto asked, to which the other ones looked at Riku's arm as well.

"What do you care?" Riku responded, backing away from Hana as he again tried to cover his spot more carefully, but it was too late. Everyone had already noticed.

However, no one seemed to really want to ask the question they all had on their minds. Probably because they were afraid of the truth. But out of all of them, the one who finally came forward and asked was the one Naoto least expected to, that being Sakura.

She had a look of concern and fear. But most of all, sadness. He could tell that it pained her to be the one to have to ask the question. But being the only one seemingly brave enough to ask it, she approached.

"Riku...is that..."
