At Berk, Kaia was getting ready for the beauty pageant when Cael and a few members from Class 1-B entered.

The moment that Cael saw Kaia's address, he started laughing. "Are you kidding? What the heck are you wearing, Kaia?"

"Whoa, dang," said Tab. "Looking good."

"This is weird," said Yale.

"Don't just waltz in here, she could have in getting dressed," said Palma.

"This is nuts, it's hard to believe that somebody sold her soul to violence can pull up to look like that," said Cael.

Kaia narrowed her eyes. "I can't figure out if that's a compliment or an insult."

"A compliment. After all, I'm the one who entered you into the beauty pageant, to begin with. I think that you would be a sure win, because of all your fans that commercial. If you win Class B will finally get the fame it deserves unlike those losers from Class A. More importantly, since your focus on this, I haven't been getting smacked as much."

No one decided to point out to Cael that Class A was not participating in the beauty pageant so would be quite a hollow victory even if they did win.

Kaia sighed. "I'm going through this I might as well going to aim for the top."

"Hold the phone, it's not fair that Kaia will win this it's still anyone's game," said Kaia.

"Ase Brightson?" Cael stared.

Ase then approached Kaia. "This will be fun, won't it?"

Kaia nodded. "I agree, I'm looking forward to—"

They start when they saw those petals flying in front of them.

"Bless your hearts," said a beautiful voice. "How precious the view that even if you think you stand a chance. Not when I'm graced with perfect beauty, see for yourself."

They turned and saw a beautiful young woman with long blond hair wearing a scarlet red dress.

"Angel Starlight?" Cael stared.

Everyone watched as the three girls looked at one another in a silent staring match.

"Is this a girl fight or what?" Yale whispered.

Meanwhile, Marcario and Ariel were in a taxi making their way to the Academy.

"We'll be there super soon," said Marcario and looked down at the festival flyer. "Let's see Class A's performance starts at 10 AM and after that, we'll run and catch Class B's play. Then it's chow time at the beauty pageant." He then looked back at Ariel, who was sitting in the backseat. "I bet you're psyched to see Hiccup, right? And his singing and dance moves, right?"

Sigrid was now polishing her robot before the expos started.

"Sigrid, you should probably clean yourself up before the presentation too," Forge suggested.

"What? All this grace is just proof of my hard work," she said.

Stoick was looking at the permission slip that Hiccup had signed in order to go into town.

"Good morning, Stoick," said Midnight as he entered the lounge.

"Morning," he nodded.

Midnight then looked at the permission slip. "What do we have here? Permission to leave the campus this morning?"

"Yeah, he said there was something he had to buy before their concert," Stoick explained. "So he headed down the mountain."

"But we're just about to kick things off, that cutting it pretty close. I hope yes, got himself into trouble."

Hiccup was in trouble, Gentle and La Brava were heading towards the Academy, and if they got there, the Festival would be shut down.

"I can't let them get away," said Hiccup.

He then jumped down directly below on one of Gentle's as springboards. 'His air membranes are invisible, but they're definitely still around.'

He then remembered the Gentle mentioned that anything he uses powers onward with back to normal. He then quickly rushed towards the crane, which was still bouncing around and jumped on top of it. He then used the momentum for the swing from the crater given a boost, and he shot off towards Gentle and La Brava.

'Track their movements,' he said.

"He's on our tail, Gentle," said La Brava as they were now bouncing over the forest.

"La Brava, if possible, I would like to save your power into the situation becomes more dire," he instructed.

"But at this rate it highly possible that your plan will fail."

"I'm well aware," he said as they hit the ground. "This clever caper is now a race against the clock." He then looked up and saw that Hiccup directly above them. "And he's fast!"

Hiccup pointed his fingers directly down Gentle. 'Earlier, I was able to use my other bullets to knock him off his trajectory. In order to recover from that and land, he put up two of those bouncing membranes.'

Gentle then created another one of his membranes directly in front of them to shield himself and La Brava.

'One of them is above this tree,' he said, and sure enough, he bounced off the membrane. Using the momentum, he managed to slip right past Gentle shield and was now directly beside him. 'If I aimed just right use it against him.'

Gentle then quickly placed yet another shield beside him, but Hiccup spun around and fired his ability to the air. The bullet bounced off the membrane above them, struck the membrane in front of Gentle and then slammed hard into his chest.

"Are you okay?" La Brava asked frantically.

Hiccup didn't give them a chance to recover and quickly pin the two of them down. "That's it. I got you both. Stop resisting and give up!"

Gentle attempted to free himself, but Hiccup was just too strong.

La Brava turned her eyes towards Gentle. 'In the past, he would have run away this moment he was discovered. But his passion is getting hurt, my poor Gentle.'

She then thought back to the years before she even met Gentle, back then she sat in front of a computer all day barely eating or sleeping. She showed no sign of emotion ever since that one day in school.

"Get this, you know Ivy, you know that short girl from Class 3? I've never even talked to her, but she sent me a love letter."

"What? For real?" said a girl.

"It gets worse, based on the weird stuff she knew she'd been stalking me it's so creepy."

They all laughed.

"There are pages and pages, I've got to show you."

"Gross what a psycho, it's kinda scary."

None of them realised that Ivy was actually listening to their conversation, and she was heartbroken.

'In the summer of my very first year of middle school, I worked up the courage to write a love note to a boy who ended up mocking me. After that, I lost faith and basically everything. All I did was stare at my computer, but even doing that, I could feel myself falling apart.'

Ivy just stared at her computer. "Maybe I should just say goodbye to this life."

She was so busy moving that she wasn't watching what she clicked and accidentally played one of Gentle's videos.

"A good day to you, dear viewers," he said. "Yes, it is I before you Gentle Criminal. Have you lost your passion? Then please put your faith in me, for I will change this wretched world."

When she saw the video, she expressed the first bit of emotion she had in years, but she couldn't say why. Maybe it was Gentle's promise, or it could have been him himself, but she now filled a purposeful living.

'That's when I discovered you, you brought light back into my life.'

She then cleaned herself up, making her look presentable and made her way to Gentle's apartment. She was rather nervous when she first addressed Gentle, she feared that he might reject because she was a weirdo.

He certainly did look surprised, though that might have been because one of his few fans had managed to track him down. Regardless she did invite her into his apartment and gave her a nice cup of tea.

That was the start of the beautiful partnership, with Gentle's charisma and La Brava's technical know-how his videos got more views dramatically. Though their antics did involve them trying to avoid the police, but so long as they were together, they were happy.

'You took me in without any reservations, and you were so so kind. You did make fun of my feelings, you accepted me holy. We walked together, side-by-side, hand in hand.'

Gentle noticed that she was still uneasy, no doubt feared that if she did improve yourself useful, she would be rejected.

"Monome, Ivy," said Gentle. "I've been thinking of your codename how does La Brava sound to you? You're the perfect partner, and your codename should reflect that."

La Brava then began crying with tears of joy, because she finally met someone who cared about her feelings and wouldn't mock her.

'Gentle, my darling Gentle,' she said, looking at him as he laid there helplessly.

"I'll hand you over to the police as soon as I can," said Hiccup. "Do not try and fight back."

"I love you, Gentle," said La Brava.

"And I you, my La Brava," said Gentle.

Hiccup was rather dumbfounded though he couldn't deny that it was rather sweet, but something was off. Then suddenly Gentle began to move, and he was far stronger than he was before he was now struggling to keep him down.

"What's going on?" said Hiccup. "His strength—"

All of this was due to La Brava's superpower, she had the ability to increase the strength of anyone she loved. Greater her feelings towards her target, the stronger they would become and right now Gentle was now 10 times as strong than normal.

"Apologies, lad," said Gentle and then suddenly moved with incredible speed that Hiccup spun in the air and slammed into the ground.

Gentle is now covered by a light pink aura, and he was holding La Brava in his arms. "I appal using brute force, so I usually edit out scenes of violence. It would be best if you took a nap."

He then performed a karate chop down onto Hiccup, with just enough force to knock him unconscious.

'He really does hate this,' said La Brava looking up at him.

Gentle then turned around and began to walk off.

"No," said Hiccup's voice became to a sudden stop, he then turned around and saw Hiccup was still conscious." I've fought against stronger, faster people than you and beaten them. This isn't over, I haven't lost yet."

Both Gentle and La Brava were stunned as Hiccup pointing his gauntlet directly at them.

It was now 9 o'clock, and the Festival was now starting.

"Good morning, Berk!" Loudspeaker announced. "Prep worker is all done, and now it's time to play. Now go and enjoy yourselves and have as much fun as possible! The Berk School Festival starts now!"

Hiccup then flicked his finger directly at Gentle quickly sidestepped out of the way just in time to avoid it.

'This is impossible,' said Gentle.

"No way," said La Brava stunned as Hiccup rose to his feet and dashed towards them.

'That was of last resort, in the past Lover Mode always asked to escape together,' said Gentle as he placed La Brava down and dashed towards Hiccup.

"Why don't you just give up already!" Hiccup yelled.

La Brava watch as both Hiccup and Gentle moved with incredible speed, they were moving so fast that they were only flashes.

"Gentle… no, I'm sorry!" she said as she felt her knees. "Forgive me, because it seems I love wasn't strong enough to help."

Gentle landed on a tree. "Nothing is certain yet La Brava. Your feelings will see us through."

Hiccup then launched himself at him, and he quickly created several air membranes on top of one another and slammed right on top of Hiccup. They struck with so much force that he crashed into the ground and pinned him down.

"The thinner the sandwich, the more elegant it is considered," said Gentle. "I do regret having to pile on so many layers, but I suppose it can't be helped." He then landed on top of the membrane sandwich. "Sacrifices must be made to achieve the dreams of my youth. To make certain that history remembers me! This is no longer an ambition I simply hold for myself unless I want my name to fade, I must persevere. My aims are not so trivial that I will abandon them only because you asked! You're a Berk student so you must understand what it means to a yearn for goal."

Hiccup then slammed his hand into the ground creating a small transfer allowed him to slip beneath the air membrane sandwich. He then quickly launch into the air directly at Gentle.

"I do," said Hiccup. "If you understand that then why would you target the School Festival? Why would you ruin everything that we worked so hard for?"

Hiccup then grabbed his coattails intending to slam him into the ground, but he soon discovered that Gentle had elasticated his coat. A few seconds after he touched the ground, he sprung upwards towards him.

"Because there's no other way," he said.

Hiccup then grabbed, and the two of them began tumbling towards the ground.

"It's for your dream, so nothing else matters?" Hiccup spat. "You'll get the whole event cancelled and take away the happiness from a girl who does even know how to smile yet!"

Gentle quickly created an air membrane below them to cushion his fall and then kicked Hiccup off of him.

"I will if that's what it takes to achieve my goal!" Gentle yelled as he sprung towards him, clenching his fist.

About 10 years ago, Gentle was still in school, and it was career day. Both he and his parents were in front of his homeroom teacher for his future prospects.

"My dream is to become a pro," he said. "A hero great enough to be written about in textbooks one day."

"Yeah, let's talk about that," said his teacher. "Things aren't looking good for Roderick. Our school isn't exactly difficult yet your grade horrible, and you keep getting held top of that, this is the fourth time you failed the Provisional Licensing Exam. Honestly, the only thing I can recommend is for you to voluntarily withdraw."

Later he and his mother left the classroom.

"I heard that Harold's son has already got agencies asking him to join," said his mother looking somewhat concerned.

"Don't worry about it, Mum, I'll keep trying. I swear."

Then one day, when he was having a cup of tea in a cafe that when his whole world came crumbling down.

"Emergency! Call a hero!" someone yelled in the streets.

When he stepped outside, he saw the window cleaner was hanging from his rig as one of the cables snapped.

"He's going to fall!"

'I thought with my power, I could make a cushion, I could see him.'

That's when the other cable snapped, and the window cleaner began plummeting towards the ground, without hesitation, Gentle quickly created an air membrane below him to cushion his landing. Unfortunately, the hero with the ability to fly swooped in and collided with the membrane bouncing him away.

To make matters worse, the membrane only caught the rig, and the window cleaning just continued to fall and hit the ground. The rig then bounced off the air membrane and landed on top of him, leaving everyone horrified Gentle most of all.

After that, the police gave him a stiff talking to.

"He was seriously injured, it will be a long recovery. Your actions interfered with a pro's rescue attempt. We have to charge you with extracting official hero duties, that will go on your record of course."

Thanks to his actions, his parents were now forced to pay heavy reparations for the man's family, additionally paying his fines from the police putting them in debt. Because of his actions, he was also expelled from his school, and his parents kicked him out as they could no longer support him.

Years passed, and the only job he was able to get was a part-time one.

"Springtime is lovely, makes forging easier," he said.

He then heard she isn't turned and found his old classmate Zack in his hero costume was standing in front of him, surrounded by fans.

'I had already given up my dream and then…'

"Zack?" Roderick stared. "You formed your own agency, that wonderful. You remember me from school we were in the same class?"

Zach looked at him, awkwardly. "Uh, sure… What was your name again?"

Roderick then realised that everyone here and you had forgotten about him. When he got home, he began scrummaging through his books until he found a book titled History of Supervillainy. If he can become a hero, then he would become a villain one which would go down the history books.

'That's when I knew, I had been forgotten. Would I simply grow old and die alone poor and pathetic? No, never! I have time!'

Back in the present Gentle was still battling against Hiccup using his advanced speed and his air membranes to bombard him with powerful attacks.

"Gentle!" La Brava cried. 'We use Lover Mode in order to escape in a hurry, not for anything like this. Usually, try so hard to avoid violence.'

Gentle bounced off the ground and onto a nearby tree. "You can mock me that I am weak…" He then bounced straight towards Hiccup. "I care not what you think! We will prevail!"

The two of them in class, sending a powerful shockwave.

"I won't mock you, but I can't let you go to Berk," said Hiccup.

"Defeat him!" La Brava pleaded with all her heart. "You have to!"

Hiccup felt Gentle's power increasing and realise that La Brava was somehow giving him a boost thanks to her feelings.

'That girl's power,' he said Gentle then swung his free hand towards him, but Hiccup was able to catch it. He was now struggling to hold Gentle back. 'His power has increased even more.'

"You!" Gentle yelled, pushing down on Hiccup. "Tell me why is it that you want to be a hero!"

"Because I'm the same as you, Gentle," said Hiccup as he stood firm. "My dream is not just my own anymore. I had a goal, and I nearly gave up on it, but for everyone who has cheered me on, for everyone who has acknowledged me, I will become a hero! Plenty of people in this world are hurting, and so I want to become someone who could show them a bright future!"

Gentle looked at him and could tell that he was sincere. "I see. Yes…"

Gentle then tossed Hiccup away with all his strength, and he collided into a tree.

La Brava and pulled out her laptop and was now trying to hack into the Berk security system. 'My love, I believe with all my heart that you can do this. If I connect with Berk internal network using this special wireless connection, then I can deactivate the security system, and we can get inside. This program I created has to work.'

Unfortunately, all she got was access denied.

'Oh no, I can't connect from this faraway.' She then quickly grab the laptop and try to get closer, covering herself with motor she did so. 'I need to get closer, anything I can do to help Gentle! I have to try!'

Gentle saw that she was heading towards the school. 'La Brava, no! It's dangerous to go alone!'

Hiccup saw La Brava was making a break for it. 'I can't let her leave.'

He then quickly rose to his feet and began chasing after her, but Gentle appeared out of nowhere and kicked him back.

"Tell me," he said as Hiccup rolled across the ground. "Do you still believe me to be an unworthy opponent?"

He then jumped in the air began bouncing around the air membranes to gain some extra speed.

'I threw away my pride, honour, everything to defeat you. Considered a sign of respect, lad!'

He then shot towards Hiccup at top speed.

La Brava was trying to get as close as she could to the school in order to hack its security system, but she came to a stop as Bloodhound, and several of Multiple Man's clones came into view.

'No, they're coming,' she panicked.

Even if she was able to hack into the security system now, they would discover Gentle and capture him.

Gentle was currently zooming towards Hiccup, who then raised his left arm and fired multiple bullets towards him. Gentle was able to avoid a few of them, but one grazed his leg, and he began spinning out of control. Hiccup then jumped into the air with all his strength and clenched his fist and then punched him across the face.

The blow was strong enough to slam a Gentle right back down towards the ground, and his power boost began to dispel.

"You are my toughest opponent," said Hiccup as he placed him in an arm lock. "Because you were someone I could understand."

"Gentle their heroes on the way," said La Brava as she emerged from the bushes. She then stopped when she saw a defeated Gentle and triumphant Hiccup.

"Run, save yourself," said Gentle.

La Brava knew that her power boost was temporary, and to make matters worse, she could only use it once per day. Heartbroken, she dropped the laptop and then slowly made her way towards Hiccup.

"No, stop," she said frantically. "Take your hands off of him! Let my Gentle go!" She then began punching Hiccup as hard as she could, but it felt more like a tap. "Get off him! Now! Gentle put his whole heart into this scheme, he even forgot to take his beloved tea breaks while he worked! He wanted to show the world a bright future! Can't you see that Gentle is my only light? Don't take in from me! Please, I'll have nothing left!"

Gentle could hear her please. 'La Brava, I told you to run knowing full well that you wouldn't, because that is who you are.'

On the day they first met, Gentle did try to persuade her not to go down this road.

"You can't help me, that would make you an accomplice to my misdeeds," he said.

"Yes, but I've already committed plenty of crimes in my hacking," she said.

Gentle was still reluctant, though he could tell by looking at her that she was not going to back down.

"It'll be fine Gentle, it's all worth it to be with you," she assured him with a smile. "So long as I'm by your side I'll be happy."

'Would you have found joy if you are steeped alone? Would you have found a new life?' Though he could tell by her tears that she wouldn't be. 'No.'

"I'll die before I let anyone take you from me!" La Brava cried.

'I'm sure you would have gone on to commit crimes far more heinous than we have, but this is my fault. I'm the one who brought you here, who accepted you and made you my partner who got you involved. La Brava, I hope you know that I am happy with you. If the heroes catch me like this, it will be obvious that you are my accomplice. Which case…'

He then used the last of his strength to toss Hiccup into the air and air membrane just as he landed to send him further away.

'The least I can do is make it look as though this fight never happened, to make the crime just a little less serious,' he said and hugged La Brava. 'Don't come back Hiccup Haddock, for the sake of my darling's future. Such a passionate young boy, you should be proud you protected everything you stood for and won.'

Bloodhound in Multiple Man then emerge from the bushes and saw the two of them.

"I'm afraid I took a tumble in the park," said Gentle. "Berk, I'm turning myself in."
