To all of those reading this fanfic, I hope to air some things that must be discussed. First and foremost, I wish to apologize for my lack of commitment to the idea this part 2 of my story would be entirely smut centered. At first, that was the idea I had going into the fanfic, but I came to the conclusion that that was too boring for me to write, sex scene after sex scene, conquest after conquest, even when the cast of characters is so bloated as it is.
I wished to find a balance in the fanfic by making a story I wished to build upon using an idea I incorporated in the first part of my fanfic, as well as sprinkling in sex scenes in between story beats, using the feedback I'd received in the prior work to fix some of the issues that plagued my first project, such as characters going without time in the story.
I even went to storyboarding this idea as far back as when I sustained my arm injury and couldn't type well to begin with. I've now realized that my selfish action has both insulted and upset the target audience that I've always wanted to entertain and impress. This was not my goal.
I had always believed that half of the charm that brought people to my flagship story was perhaps my attempt at storytelling over the smut scenes. I now know I was wrong in my erroneous assessment, and I deeply apologize for making such a bold and crass assumption of what you all enjoyed in my work.
To make amends for my mistake in wrongly believing what the audience truly wanted, I am immediately axing this project forthwith, to be left on a permanent hiatus unless I can find the personal motivation to continue working on it again, if for myself more than anyone else.
If anyone wishes for me to see this through to the end, however, despite my inability to keep my word with the pure smut, you can feel free to tell me in the reviews, if you wish. Know however, I can only commit to such a demographic if enough people actually care. Knowing what I've seen so far in the reviews, however, I imagine the group that is here for the plot is a minority compared to those who wish to see this fanfic for the smut aspect.
As I cannot hope for such an outcome in certainly, all I can do in the meantime is hope that my other works I've produced should alleviate this trouble I've caused you all, and I can only hope you can forgive me for my selfish act. Regardless of the outcome, I did enjoy writing this for all of you, despite numerous setbacks and delays over the years since I first started. It's been a pleasure to have entertained you all, and I hope to hear from you all in the reviews of my other works.
