As requested, created for commentary on the upcoming races. Now some rules: first off no hateful comments despite what you may think is fair or unfair. Leave those calls to the umpires. Secondly, this thread is private to Cup competitors past and present so no one else can see the shenanigans that happen here.

It disturbs me how logical that is!

Meanwhile in Auckland
When her sister finally pulled into the dock, Defiant all but raced across the brow. Patriot was standing albiet leaning heavily on the rail with both Dean and Terry supporting her. The former let go however when he saw Defiant racing up.

As the other kanmusu approached, being lead by a very worried looking Stars and Stripes Dean disembarked to confront them. "She can stand but she can barely walk on her own right now. Don't let her beat herself up, it wasn't her fault." Well that went without saying.

"Don't worry skipper we've got this." Stars and Stripes gave him a pat on the shoulder and took off running. She found the younger AC75 had torn Patriot away from Terry and embraced her. "I was so scared. I was so... I was so scared. That I was never going to see you again."

Patriot returned the hug as best she could, struggling with movement. "I shouldn't have..."

Defiant pulled back, pushing back her sister's darker brunette hair. "You're alive. You're alive and that's all that matters."

Both were promptly pushed back together again as Stars and Stripes came up and hugged them both. She let Defiant go after a minute and practically carried Patriot to shore. "Don't you ever do something like that again!" She demanded but her anger was nonexistant. She was terrified and when Patriot looked up she saw her eyes were watery.

Too stunned to answer she simply embraced her 'aunt'.
