The next morning, Naruto woke up early. On that day he would have a meeting with the other companies. The blonde stood up and walked to the bathroom to take a long and cold shower to wake himself up. After that, he dried himself with a towel and dressed in his business clothes. The blonde looked at the time and sighed. It was 5.56 am and he had to wait a little longer until his children would wake up. Just as he sat on the couch in the living room he heard someone rushing towards the bathroom.
He stood up and went upstairs to check on that person. It was Yuri who had rushed towards the bathroom. It was her morning sickness and a shiver ran down Naruto's spine. He remembered how hard it was including his carvings for the strangest type of food. The blonde walked over to the woman and soothed her. "It's ok. I will make you ginger tea with lemon to make it better, " said the blonde, and she nodded her head. Naruto had read that ginger tea and lemon juice would help in the morning and drank it every morning to soothe his morning sickness.
After the tea was done, Naruto gave it to the young woman to drink. She drank it slowly, enjoying the feeling of the morning sickness slowly disappearing, and sighed in relief. "What do you carve for?" the blonde asked the woman as he took the cup and placed it somewhere on a table that happened to be right next to him. The woman paused as thought about it for a while. Yuki nodded her head as she could finally pinpoint what she carved for. "I want Sushi with honey and some yogurt, " she replied.
Naruto sight in relief. He remembered his cravings. They were way too odd for him to describe. The combination was odd and unnatural. "Fine, I will make you Sushi with honey and yogurt, " replied the blonde and made his way to the kitchen. All kinds of memories flashed through his head. The time he carved for something ridiculous like Tabaco with ananas and Katsudon. He couldn't explain how in Hades' name he carved for something like that. The blonde hummed to himself as he prepared the woman's food. Naruto wanted to treat the woman kindly, especially for the reason that he had no one who looked after him in the US.
It took the blonde man some time to finish the Sushi but as he finished, the children were already up and changing their clothes after taking a shower. "Please, let us do it, Naruto-san. This is our job, after all, we are your workers, " said Utakata but Naruto only shook his head. "No, no, it's fine. I mean it. I wanted to do this as well as you're not only my workers but you guys are also my friends and family, " replied the blonde as he gave him a soft and warm smile.
Utakata sighed and flash a smile of his own before he spoke again. "Fine, but I will help you. Just see it as a friend helping out another friend, " said the man, and Naruto shook his head while smiling. "Alright, " he agreed and moved to the side for Utakata to help him. They prepared breakfast while the others were getting ready for school. "Is breakfast ready?" asked Hinata as she came inside the kitchen to check on the two adults who were preparing their breakfast. "Yeah, yeah almost. Just sit down drama Queen, " answered Naruto with an eye roll.
"Oh, shut it, boy. I may be a drama Queen but you sure as hell are a dramatic bitch who's struggling with their love life, " spat Hinata as she rolled her eyes at him. Naruto glared at her and she shot him a glare back. A second later they fell out in laugher. Sometimes you have to tell your friends the truth and laugh it away later. They finished the food and the others joined them at the dinner table.
Eating the food Naruto made and talking about anything and nothing was something beautiful. Something the blonde would forever be grateful for. "Now, hurry up and walk to the car or otherwise you'll be late kids, " Naruto hurried his children out of the house as he shook his head. "You don't want Sarada to wait alone in school do you?" Hinata added, and the children practically ran towards the car.
The adults chuckled and Naruto sat inside the car and drove off faster than anyone could say soup. "Fuck you Naruto!" yelled Hinata as she shook her head. The blonde wasn't allowed to drive his children to school. Something bad would happen and they all knew it. It was Naruto after all. Utakata shook his head and smiled. "I hope he did not forget about his meeting this afternoon, " muttered the man.
"Well about that, don't worry. I will drag him the if I have to. What a drag, " sighed Shikamaru as he laid down on the couch. Karin shook her head and hit the poor man. Who did he think he was? Obama? "What are your plans for today?" Karin questioned Hana and Yuki as she turned her attention towards the two. It took them a while to respond because they had to think about it. "Nothing much. Maybe paying my little brother a visit or something like that, " Hana finally answered.
Hinata and Karin nodded their head. They suggested them to spend the day with them and go baby clothes shopping. It would be fun and on their way, they could talk about the blonde's sad love life. The drama from yesterday wasn't enough. They needed more. The two women accepted the offer and smiled. They stayed for a while until they got ready to go shopping while Naruto drove to his office.
Itachi woke up from his sleep and groaned. It was one of the lesser days he just wanted to stay in bed and do nothing else but he had no choice. He walked to the bathroom and took a shower. After that, he got ready and left for work. Nothing special if he had to be honest. His crush who was also the love of his life was no married. The raven had no purpose in life anymore but continued anyway.
The blonde adult still being stuck in his mind, Itachi arrived at his workplace and started to prepare for the official meeting with the other companies. While doing so, Itachi got trapped in his thoughts of the blonde. His beautiful blue eyes, his blinding bright smile, his body. Everything was perfect about him but he was married. Itachi sighed as the door opened. Sasuke entered his office and told him to move.
"Come on Itachi. The meeting is about to start. I still can't speak percent Spanish but we have to see that we get through it. You learned how to speak French, did you? What about German? It was too hard to learn at this small amount of time but I hope we can manage it, " sighed Sasuke. The young adult was stressed. If he had known it earlier then he would have learned these languages earlier.
Itachi sighed as shook his head. No matter how smart and intelligent he was, this matter was impossible. You can not learn three different languages in one week. Everyone knew this. The older raven sighed again for the third time since he arrived and prepared the papers. He stood up and walked alongside his brother to the meeting room. They were the second to arrive. It seemed like the German company was earlier than them. Next were the French and Spanish companies.
And last but not least Naruto including his 'wife', Shikamaru, Sai, and Karin. The women had had a nice day and joined Naruto later for the meeting. "Lasst uns begingen. Commençons par le commencement. Vamos a empezar, "announced the blonde in German, French, and Spanish. The three companies were impressed. The young man was impressive. Sasuke and Itachi were a bit shocked. They could not believe it. Naruto knew these languages? How and when did he learn it?
The meeting started as Naruto seated himself on the opposite side of Sasuke and Itachi as it was the only spot left. The meeting continued with the Uchiha having son troubles but hiding them successfully and a few jokes here and there from the blonde. "Well then, I would say it is a deal, " said the German company with a German accent. "Same here. I think you are all amazing. You really impressed us, " added the Spanish company.
"You can speak Japanese?" asked Sasuke out aloud. Fuck, he wasn't supposed to say it out loud. Damn him. The others looked at him and started to laugh. "Just a little bit but you were all impressive. Your French est très bien by the way, " commented the French company. They started to laugh at the comment while the Uchihas let out a forced laugh. "Dear Uzumaki-Namikaze-san, I have heard that you are married to a young lady named Hyuuga Hinata, " mentioned the French company.
All eyes were set on the blonde and Hinata who stood behind him. Naruto looked at Hinata and she started back at him. Seconds later, they started to laugh and apologized. "We're sorry but it is all an error. I and Hinata aren't married. We went to a wedding. Something my daughter has still to learn the difference of" declared the blonde as he smiled. Itachi's heart was beating faster. That smile. That smile got him every time.
His heart was doing loops while his stomach was filled with butterflies. Naruto was still single. He still had a chance. Now or never. "But may I ask from where you got your information?" questioned Hinata with suspicion clear in her voice. Naruto stopped laughing and supported Hinata. "That would have been my next question. Now, answer, " demanded the blonde as he glared at the man.
Everything was going too fast. The man stood up and smirked as he snatched a knife from his pocket and attack the blonde. The man dug the sharp weapons thrice into the blonde before he was stopped by Sai and Shikamaru. Karin and Hinata rushed towards the blonde and tried stopping the bleeding. The Spanish and German company watched with horror as blood rushed down Naruto's body to the floor. Itachi saw red.
All he could see was red. He didn't hesitate and ran to the blonde. The raven pushed the others away and held Naruto in his arms barking commands as he tried to save the blonde. Two minutes later, an ambulance arrived and took Naruto with them. Itachi protested and wanted to stay by the blonde's side but the sanitary would not allow him to. It took three people to try to at least calm the man down just a bit. Sasuke watched everything.
He was too shocked about what happened and had frozen up on the same spot he was sitting. It was true, he had wished something bad to happen to the blonde but not this. All the man could hear was his brother's cry to be released and the images of what had happened a few seconds ago. Karin took Hinata in her arms as they both cried. The blonde lost too much blood. Shikamaru and Sai still held the man down while they waited for the police.
The three other men comparing the man who was held by the two raven-haired males were being held back by the security who had arrived seconds after the awful act. After five more minutes the police arrived and took the four men with them to the police station. Shikamaru and Sai looked each other in the eyes and turned towards the two women crying. They sighed rather sad and comforted the two. "We have to tell the kids, " Shikamaru informed them. The two shook slightly.
How could this happen? Why did it have to be Naruto? What did the blonde do to deserve all that? These questions which had no clear answer were racing through almost all over their heads. "What should we tell the children?" Karin asked aloud as shook even more. Sasuke, finally out of his frozen stature tried to think but as he was about to say something, the rest of the Uchiha family arrived as they heard the ambulance and the police officers. "What happened? Is everyone alright?" asked Fukagu as he looked around.
"Where is the blonde Uzumaki?" Madara asked as he noticed something bright missing. The man looked around and saw the two-woman crying their eyes out, Sasuke being frozen, the other people from the other companies not knowing what to do, Sai and Shikamaru having small years falling down their faces, and Itachi. Itachi was the worst. He looked traumatized, broken, sad, ripped of everything that made him live. The man looked awful. Mikoto looked at her youngest son. He was the most stable.
"Sasuke, tell me. What happened and where is Naruto?" she raised a question. Her eyes held worry for the young blonde and his health. Sasuke inhaled and exhaled slowly before he answered. "He was attacked. The man from the French company did it. I don't think that he was really someone from that company but he injured Naruto thrice, " the male explained. Mikoto gaped while the others were shocked.
"What about his children? Do they know it yet?" Obito asked them but received a no. Just as another question was about to be asked the phone rang and they all looked at each other in horror. What could it be about? Karin slowly brought her hands to her ringing phone and picked it up. The red-headed woman put it on speaker and answered with a weak hello. "Hello? Karin, are you there?" the voice asked, and Karin answered with yes.
"Please listen. I couldn't reach Naruto so listen carefully and please don't panic, " the voice began, "The children were attacked a few minutes ago and were brought to the hospital. Yua, Menma, Hima, and even Sarada are injured. I will call her parents right after I end this call, " The others gasped. Sasuke got worried and hurried to Karin but she pushed him away. "Tell us, what happened? The Uchiha's are here with us, no need to call them, " the red-headed woman reapplied.
Iruka sighed. He told them that the children were playing like always as two men came and tried to kidnap Sarada and Yua and that the others tried to stop them but got injured. Karin ended the call and looked at the others. They didn't hesitate another second and rushed to the hospital where the children were brought to. As they reached the hospital they could see a few nurses and doctors running around.
"Sakura, " Sasuke called out as he spotted his wife among them. The said woman turned around to face her husband. She looked at the others and nodded her head. Sakura led them all to be brought to another room to be able to talk to them. She had just been by Naruto's side as her child and her child's friends arrived in the hospital. Several hours later, the pink-haired female finally entered the room. "How are they? Let us see them? How are the kids? How is Naruto doing? Will they be ok?" were questioned that we asked.
Sakura sighed. She was affected by it a lot. Although she was used to these kinds of situations, it didn't make it any better. It was her child, her friends' children, and her friend who was attacked. "The kids are fine. They will wake up in around two days. We had to put them into a coma so we could look over them without hurting them, " she informed them. "The other two, Mito and Haruo are with Iruka. They will be here later, " she added.
The others let a sigh of relief but there was still something, something important missing. "What about Naruto? How is he?" Itachi asked as he continued to look at the floor. He couldn't look her in the eyes. What if he saw a sad smile? What if he saw something he did not want to see? "Naruto, he is... I don't know. It's strange! His body does not react at all. It's rejecting everything we give to him, " the woman said frustrated.
"Normally it would not be that bad but whoever did it, knew how deep and exactly where to attack the blonde. Their goal was probably to harm Naruto's body by losing the ability to bear children. Naruto and I sat down and talked about something like that. If an Uzumaki male is forced to stop having children like the case it is with Naruto, then he will bleed from the inside and we can not save him anymore. This death is painful and takes a lot of time, " Sakura cried.
She was doing her best to keep her calm but she couldn't. She had failed as a medic. "Do you mean that he will die?" Hinata asked as her body shook. No, Naruto couldn't just die on her! How could he? Sakura shook her head. "We don't know it yet but I will inform you about his daily progress, " Sakura replied as she looked to the ground, not able to look them in the eyes and tell them what she was truly thinking. The medic left the room and went straight back to her work to help the children. "Fuck, " groaned Sai and pulled out his phone.
He tailed a number and called Kurama. "Hello? Kurama, it's Sai. We need you something bad happened to Naruto and the kids, " said Sai as he shook his head. "I know. It's all over the news. I'm on my way, " replied Kurama as he hung up. The raven-haired man's eyes widened. He groaned again and attack the next thing next to him. "Sai! Stop it! What is wrong? We are all frustrated but you can't just destroy everything, " Hinata declared him upset trying to call him down. "Fuck! It's all over the news already, " yelled Sai for the first time in his life.
Everyone was shocked. Why was it already in the news? Sasuke walked towards Sai and grabbed him by his collar. "Repeat it! Why is it on the news? Is my daughter in the news?!" Sasuke questioned him with anger as he shook the poor man. Sai grabbed Sasuke's collar and glared at the man. It was getting overboard and they had to be separated. "Enough is enough. You two stop it! We are in the hospital and fighting each other won't help a bit!" growled Madara.
A headache was growing slowly. At that moment the door opened and Kurama walked in. "Let's go. He is going to see the kids. We can not see Naruto for now. He is unstable, " announced the red-headed man as he turned his back to them. They followed the man to the room where the children were laying. A nurse looked at them and asked for their names. She had to be sure that it was them and nobody else. After receiving the necessary information and letting it be confirmed from Sakura, she let them in.
They walked inside and saw the children. It looked like they were asleep. At least the children couldn't feel the pain. Sasuke, his mother, and Itachi immediately towered over Sarada while the others walked to Hima, Yua, and Menma. Hinata sighed. What had happened? Wasn't everything just great a day before today? They stayed for a few hours before they were sent out. Visiting time was over and the children needed time and peace to rest.
The adults drove off home and arrived late at night. The two foreign companies were settled in a hotel room after they confirmed to know about the blonde's situation. As Karin opened the door, Naruto's two children who were luckily still healthy and not hurt, ran towards her and hugged her tightly. Karin broke down and hugged them back. They told the children that their sibling and their friends would wake up in about two days and that they were fine but they couldn't say the same about Naruto.
Haruto looked at Kurama before he spoke. "It was the masked man, " the boy informed Kurama, and the older man's eyes widened. The masked man was after them for a long time now, but what did he want with Yua and Sarada? It made no sense at all. Shikamaru thought about it but couldn't find an answer. The pineapple head had informed his girlfriend Temari about Naruto's and the children's condition on their way to the Uzumaki-Namikaze estate.
Everything was getting out of hand. They had fun just the day before today and now they were all worried sick. It was disgusting how things could change so easily. So fast and so drastically. Hinata and Karin made sure to bring the two children to bed before they too went- or at least tried- to sleep. They laid in the same bed trying to give each other comfort and crying in each other's arms. Sai, Kurama, and Shikamaru were still awake and tried to find out why it happened and why it was at the same time with different targets.
The Uchihas arrived at the big main estate and sighed. How could this happen? "What did they want from Sarada? She had done nothing wrong! Why didn't they attack us, me, when we were in the meeting?" Sasuke asked aloud. He was frustrated. Mikoto tried to calm her youngest down while she too tried to calm down. "Please, Sasuke dear, calm down. Everything will be alright, ok?" Mikoto said as she patted him.
Sasuke looked towards Madara as the said man spoke. "I will personally investigate this matter. I do not care how long it will take me and through what I have to go to, to find out who they are, what they want, and how I can destroy them, " growled Madara angrily. Who was stupid enough to start a fight, no, a war with the Uchihas? "I'm sure that Uzumaki-kun will help you with the matter, " Obito added but received a glare from Sasuke.
"What can that idiot do anyway? He probably won't wake up again. He could have moved out of the way or stop the attacker. But not Sarada. She is a little kid. My daughter. These guys have no right to even think about looking the same way as Sarada, " Sasuke growled louder this time. Mikoto was taken aback at that and Itachi swore that he could have killed his little brother now and then. "Sasuke! We know you are upset but you can not say that about Uzumaki-kun, " his mother replied.
Itachi had enough of it and stood up. "Listen Sasuke. I want you to know that the attack was meant for either you or me and that Naruto knowingly stepped in front of the attacker making it seem like he attacked Naruto. So, say one more word about him and I swear to Kami-sama that I will kill you myself, " Itachi said in a rather low and cold voice. After that, he left the room and walked upstairs to close the door to the guest room.
Sasuke felt bad but he had no time to feel bad. Not as long as he did not know who these men were and what they wanted from him, his family, and his daughter. No word was uttered as Sasuke left the room leaving the others alone. "Let's wait till tomorrow to find out more about the case, " Kakashi who had not left their side as a personal bodyguard, for now, suggested as he sighed. The others hesitantly agreed and went to bed hoping that tomorrow would be a better day.
