3/3/22 - I wish I could still write like that. Still, maybe my readers would like to know where I've been? I'm in a relationship, with my very own Duo-like wonderful man. No kids yet. We do have 2 cats and a 3D printer though. I love you all. Here is the first chapter to Book 5!

Chapter One – September 12, 2006

"Ne, Yami. What did you do?" Demoonica asked the crimson eyed Bishounen.

"What do you mean?" Yami asked her back as he continued to play his game of Dual Monsters against Yugi.

"This." She pointed to Damia, who was happily toddling after a very real Mystical Sheep #2.

"Ah. That." Yami said with a nod. "Cute, no?"

Demoonica shook her head. "No. Where did that thing come from? Is it even safe?"

"Of course it's safe. I wouldn't have summoned it if it wasn't safe."

"Rori!" The child giggled as she finally caught up to the fluffy pink sheep. She hugged it tightly.

Yami gave a small laugh. "See. It's harmless. Damia wanted something to play with and she held up the card out of my extras, so I thought I'd summon the monster for her. At her age, she'd most likely tear up the card if I'd given that to her."

"Muriel!" Damia giggled.

Demoonica looked at her daughter. "What is she on about?"

"I believe she's trying to give the Mystical Sheep #2 a name. A human female name at that."

"I didn't think she would be able to pronounce 'Muriel' right at this age."

"Ah, but she's not fully human now is she? Damia has always been a step ahead of her age."

Demoonica nodded. "You say you summoned that thing? How?"

"Each card holds the heart of the dualest and the soul of the monster." Yami held up a blank card. "I'll never be able to put it back. I hope you don't mind."

"So the Seibutsu is here to stay, it is the only one you summoned right?" Demoonica looked around for any more surprises.

"At the moment." Yami said with a nod, then took out Yugi's remaining life points. "I could summon you something if you like, I'd have to have the card first though."

Demoonica paused. "Really?"

Yami looked up at her and nodded. "It wouldn't be right away. Summoning takes a lot of energy and magical power. In a couple of weeks I could summon you something. Think it over."

"Jadie!" Damia suddenly called out and was answered by a happy 'baa' from the Mystical Sheep #2.

"I think she found it's name." Yugi said with a smile on his face. "I like it, Damia."

"Awa?" Damia blinked up at the Bishounen.

"So is the baby-?" Duo asked slowly.

"Zanders." Demoonica replied quickly. "Uh, Hiead and I haven't... uh... gotten that far in our relationship."

"But you've been together for almost two years." Large violet eyes blinked. "I though relationships... sort of-"

"Lovely." She ruffled the teens hair. "Who gave you The Talk? Please don't say Bakura."

"No one really gives Bishounen the baby talk." He said scratching the back of his head. "The info just sort of pops into your head like everything else when evolving from Chibi to San."

Demoonica paused before speaking. "Probably still better than asking Bakura." She smiled. "Okay, but yeah. Hiead and I have a lot of things to work out. Yes, couples therepy has helped, a lot, in the last eighteen months, but..." She waved a hand. "Hiead has his own issues, abandonment ones. At least we determined just what was causeing the extreme possesiveness he had towards me." She shook her head. "Blood bond plus near death adrinalin rush equils hyper fixated on reproduction. I'm just glad Hiead was also so antisosial that it didn't become... worse."

"Er... yeah." Duo agreed. "Glad Bill fixed that."

"Test subject number one." Demoonica said as she pointed to herself. "So, mind me asking why you wanted to know who the babys father is?"

"Bakura."

"And it's all clear now." Demoonica deadpaned. She stretched in her seat on the sofa. "I think, if everything goes well, I might be able to take back up adventuring around."

"With a newborn?"

"Did it with Inu-chan." Demoonica waved her hand. "And with taking the last two years to watch Damia's growth, it shouldn't be much different. Babies from my world grow slower, and Chibi's grow a whole lot faster. It's not much different except those rates."

"Strange powers." Duo pointed out.

"Not for Chibi's, besides what's a little burst of extreme speed? Both Hiead and Zero are way faster than Damia like that."

"More strange powers." He added.

"It's talking to animals! Plus this morning Yami seems to haven given Damia the perfect distraction in that department. He permanantly summoned a Mystical Sheep #2 for her as a playmate. He tried to explain how, but well... magic."

"Yeah, I'll stick to technoligy, thanks."

"A few more weeks and maybe we'll be on the road again. That will be something." Demoonica shook her head.

"Indeed." Came a voice from behind the two of them.

"Hey Heero." Duo called as they both looked backwards over the couch.

"How's the money siduation? I know the guys have been clearing out the Battle Portals like mad."

Heero wandered around the couch and sat down in one of the chairs across from Demoonica and Duo. "If you leave at least seventeen of us here at home to continue like the past eighteen months, the households funds will remain steady with basic Battle Portal useage. This includes, at least two people continueing to use the garden, buying meats from market, and paying for all bills and requirements." He adjusted his glasses that he used when working with numbers. It was the only time he needed them. There were only so many zeros he could look at and not get a headache. "By your birthday you should be able to head out."

"November, that will give me about a month between the baby being born and then. I think that's doable."

"Okay, I think I've got the lists sorted out." Demoonica waved a bunch of papers at Kagome. "Staying will be: Allen, Marou, Katan, Inuyasha, Inu-Chan, Zero, Kamui, Edward, Matt, Wolfram, Raine, Junia, Riku, Hakudoushi, Dilandau, Makenshi, Yugi, Chrono, Squall, Tala, Hiei..." Demoonica paused, "and you Kagome, they'd be in chaos without you here at home." She held up her hands in self defence before Kagome could even open her mouth. "You know it's true. That leaves Kai, Rei, Hiead, Duo, Heero, Yami, Bakura, Malik, and Sasuke to come with me."

"You're leaving a whole lot of heavy hitters at home, are you sure about that?"

"Yami's powers, Bakura's powers, and Sasuke's jutsues ... Come on Kagome."

"Raine is your only real healer."

"That I did fine without for a long time."

"Hiead incedent."

"None of that from you." Demoonica grumbled. "Heero with guns and exploding stuff. Duo, again, good with a gun. Plus you wouldn't believe what he can hide in that braid. Trust me, ask Heero."

Kagome's eye twitched. "Nothing I shouldn't ask about, right?"

"Like lockpicks, Kagome, get your mind out of the gutter. Okay. Even Kai and Rei have perfected summoning, completely independantly of how things work in Beyblade." Demoonica stopped with a sigh. "And you know why Hiead and Malik are coming with my group. You know, I wonder if anyone wants to return home. You know... free."

"Marou." Was Kagome's imidiate response.

"He'd burn down the entire area."

"He just hates being caught."

"And being caught is my only protection from him trying to kill me for capturing him."

"Circular."

"Yup. Anyone else?"

"I don't think sending people home would make anyone feel good. It's like saying, 'Here, go home, I don't want to be your friend anymore.'"

Demoonica winced. "I didn't meen it like that. Just, who really wants their life dictated by a ninteen year old fangirl?"

"You don't dictate anyone's life, Demoonica. Plus, you're talking about people who've lived their lives with you for between two and four years. And you're almost twenty."

"Okay, I get it. None of the guys, barring Marou, would take me up on the offer of releaseing them."

"I doubt it."

"I'm still not old enough to drink."

"You're pregnant."

"I'm really doing this whole life thing out of order, aren't I?"

Kagome laughed.
