30. Closing of the fic

Hi everyone! I know there are people who have been waiting on this fic for a long time, but I'll be honest. Now that I'm older, writing this fic in its current setting is no longer in the comfortable range for me. It was fine back then to write a freshman Shikamaru and a senior Temari and potentially work them to be together when I was younger, but that just feels weird for me these days. That being said, unfortunately, I will be closing this fic. Not deleting it, so you can still read it if you wish, but I won't be updating it anymore.

However, I do enjoy this fic and where I was going with it, so instead, I will be taking this fic and putting it in a different setting-a college au, with some other changes to make it fit. It won't be the same fic but in a different setting; it'll still be it's own thing. Just with the familiar school feels and the same banter and dynamics. I don't know when that fic will come out, but one day, I will post it. So if that interests you, great! And if not, thanks to all the readers who read this when it was still ongoing!
