Okay guys we're back on Ascension to see the power, and potential of both Zuzu, and Aura who both got to work together against Yami Marik, and the Winged Dragon of Ra due to how powerful Ra has gotten with all the new cards about him. Even without Ra, Yami Marik can still be a formidable opponent to causing damage, immobilized opponents, constantly taking glee in torture, and manages to master the powers of his Egyptian God. Let us see what these two can do against Yami Marik!
Summary: Zuzu, and Aura alone in their own spot in the Virtual World goes looking for the others seeing destruction around looking for the source while talking to each other about the way things change with Dan around to where Aura remarked to Zuzu that maybe fate has plans for him for whatever it wishes for him. Zuzu also thinks that if it wasn't for Dan things would be worst as if, and soon encountered a fearsome foe that has the powers to control one of the three Egyptian Gods, the Winged Dragon of Ra. Teaming up together the two girls have to stop this madman from harming anyone else, and use their abilities to try to fight back against Ra.

Zuzu, and Aura both by their lonesome was walking around their own spot in the Virtual World looking around to see if they can find anyone. They been here for a few minutes, and lately they haven't find anyone anywhere in this world they know, and wonders where exactly they can be or how big this Digital World can be. They just hope everyone that came with them is okay, or that can be bad. Suddenly noticing smoke they ran over, and find that a building was just destroyed along with a good neighborhood.
Aura shake her head seeing the destruction. "What happened here?"
"Nothing good that's for certain." Zuzu frowned before they walked together looking around. While finding their friends, and maybe stopping who's destroying this town Zuzu couldn't help but bring up, "Aura?" When she sees Aura's turned over to her Zuzu asked, "You can see the future right?"
"Yeah right to where, I will be with darling! Oh that'll be the day!" Aura said dreamly holding her hands together while daydreaming about her, and Yuya being married.
While easily irritated at this Zuzu cleared her throat deciding now's not the time to smack Aura with her fan. "Yes well... I think that Dan being with us is for the best."
"Hm?" Aura looked over to her confused before Zuzu explained, "If he wasn't there with us then something bad, or worse might've happened with all of us at the moment. Serg-I mean Nick not joining with his family, Riley continuing being lonely, the School Duel winning in LID's favor, everything else."
Hearing that Aura couldn't help but feel Zuzu made a good point. With the way things had been it had been chaotic, and would've been worse if Dan had not been there. Roget will have won his way with the Synchro Dimension (Which she doubts since their encounter with the Divine Will of Synchro), Nick continuing to be Roget's puppet, them in the Facility never getting out, and other terrible things.
"Yes. I admit that fates have planned Dan for something grand regarding all the things happening. I wonder what." Aura admitted to her looking down while thinking about it.
Zuzu nodded looking down to her hands, "Yeah, I wonder myself. He's such a sweet boy, and I hate if something happens to him."
"Ah, how touching."
Startled hearing the voice the two girls looked around stopped walking to find who said that, "Who's there!?"
Purple smoke started to envelope around them before they noticed a silhouette of something in the smoke showing of a spikey haired man having a cape. They also noticed an eye on his forehead that's yellow glowing. Slowly but surly the black color faded revealing what he truly looks like. It was a tanned man having on a long purple cape with a gold chain, and a black sleeveless tank top and beige pants along with having on golden earrings, neckwear, armbands and bracelets. His hair is spiked upwards and points in all directions.
He let out a highly sadistic smirk which creeps out the two as he smirked, "Your worst nightmares..." The screen zoomed to his left eye which reflects both Zuzu, and Aura looking tensed from this guy.

Dan, and Riley meanwhile we're walking to find the others themselves eventually coming to the same location Zuzu, and Aura are now. It had been a while ago that they had defeated Strings, and Arkana along with encountering Noah that they decided to keep moving to find everyone. So far they don't have any luck about that. Dan while thinking that since they encounters Strings, and Arkana he thinks they may encounter some of the other villains he knows from the first series.
He knows that Pegasus isn't gonna be one since he grown into a supporting character after Duelist Kingdom, Kaiba isn't possible since he's with them right now, and many others are most likely one shot enemies. Which lefts him to the major villains; Dartz, and Doma, the former King of Atlantis that uses the power of the Orichalcos, and his underlings to revive the Great Leviathan, Yami Marik, and the Rare Hunters, since they encountered Strings, and Arkana so that's possible, Zigfried, and Schroeder Corp, the CEO of Kaibacorp's rival, and who nearly sabotaged the KC Grand Championship, or maybe even Zorc, and his Shadow Minions, the modern counterpart of Thief King Bakura, or Yami Bakura, and the most fearsome opponent Yugi, and his friends had fought.
But if their's one thing about these guys that greatly spook him is the command of the Shadow Games which is what Yami Marik, and Yami Bakura are at best. From his personal opinion Yami Marik is more scary then Yami Bakura due to how gleeful Yami Marik is at his command of the shadows, and the art of torturing his opponents in Shadow Games with torture like instruments cards ranging from his Nightmare Wheel, to his strongest card the Winged Dragon of Ra which is the element that makes him real ionic, his Egyptian God Card, and masters it like a pro which makes Dan fearful if someone like him can command the power, and abilities of a God. He just hopes that he would never have a chance to encounter him.
If only that chance would be real...
"Dan? Dan!"
Snapping out of his inner monolog he turned to Riley who looked fearful, "What's the matter?"
Riley was staring ahead frightened as he looked over seeing their in front of a destroyed town covered in purple smoke. Seeing this Dan looked shocked nervously stating, "That doesn't look good... Stay close to me. Let's check this out."
Nervously nodding Riley walked with him to investigate what's going on here.
Back with the girls they stare at the man tensing seeing him instantly knowing he's evil as evident from the purple smoke around them, and from how sinister he looks. Zuzu glared trying to look tough asking, "So... Are you the guy that destroyed this town?"
"Hehehe..." the man looked over the two with a smirk as she asked that not answering for a few seconds. That was before he mentioned, "No need to look so serious. You are looking at the one who commands the abilities of a God."
"A God?" Aura blinked hearing that. She then grew nervous, "Are you saying your the God of this Dimension?"
"Excuse me?" He looked confused on what she meant before shaking his head, "I wield the abilities of one of the three Egyptian Gods if that's all right with your gracefulness."
"T-T-The Egyptian Gods!?" the two girls asked stammering in shock by what they just heard.
The man smirked seeing this before saying, "And now that you two of left of this town, I'll destroy you just like around you." From that he activated his Ritual Dimension Duel Disk as the two grunted looking at each other. Nodding to each other they both armed themselves to fight back while noting that they can't use the Action Field since Noah hacked their Disks to stop that so their gonna have to Duel without it.

Needless to say both Zuzu, and Aura weren't expecting for someone to have one of the Egyptian Gods to make a move like that. If anything they were expecting for him to try to build the conditions to summon it already but really placing down a monster, and setting three cards? What is he up too? The man however smirked seeing their un-easement before noticing something behind them, "So I see there are more pests to watch squirm."
Hearing that Zuzu, and Aura turned around to see Dan, and Riley just came in which made Zuzu cried with a smile, "Dan, Riley!"
"Boy are we glad to see you two are okay!" Aura smiled to them. That was before she blinked, "Huh? Dan?"
Riley turned, and looked worried from what she's seeing. Dan looked HIGHLY fearful of the man sweating nervously looking terrified out of his skin as he smirked at the young boy. What's wrong with Dan? She never seen him like this before! He is always brave always going in at the face of danger but this guy is terrifying him? "Dan? Your scaring me."
"Y-Y-Y-Yami Marik..." Dan trailed off in horror revealing the identity of the man.
"Wait you know him?" Zuzu asked hearing that turning to the revealed man before pausing, "Oh right you watched Yugi, and the others. So who's this?"
Dan while still looking terrified answered, "H-He's an evil half of a Tombkeeper named Marik Ishtar... He wants the power of the Egyptian Gods to destroy everything, and cause lots of sufferings... He also uses cards that are based on torturing his opponents... And also commands the power of the Shadow Games to make it more painful."
"Sheesh no wonder why he's shaking like that." Aura couldn't help but mention shocked about how sinister this guy is.
Yami Marik however smirked, "I wasn't aware, I was in the presence of someone who knows me. I wonder if he knows what my strategy is here." Zuzu turned to him glaring stepping in front of Dan which prompt the evil man to say, "Fine before him I'll deal with you two."
"Well it's my turn now, I draw!" Zuzu called drawing looking over her hand ready to defend Dan from her for some feeling. 'With this hand, I can manage to Fusion Summon, Bloom Prima... But if he really has an Egyptian God, I better save her for later...' Deciding that she said, "First off, I'll set two cards!" After setting them she then showing one of her Melodious cards, "Then as you have a monster but we don't, I can summon Solo, the Melodious Diva!"

An older version of Sonata rose up but has green skin with the same limbs on her body as Sonata on the right side of her face, and right arm she has on a dress where it's purple with a huge yellow stripe that is vertical at her center, hot pink wings, having a long flowing skirt that is purple, long knee purple socks above her knees, golden braces shaped like the strike on her dress along on her wrists as bracelets.

Yami Marik looked at the field with a smirk before saying, "With that I end my turn."

"I know Aura." Zuzu agreed also not getting what he's up to. That was when she shrugged, "We should better stop him from summoning an Egyptian God while we have a chance!" With that she drew looking over her hand. 'At this point no need to hold back now.' "I activate the spell, Polymerization!"

"This card forces your monster to not attack, or change battle mode!" Yami Marik smirked as Bloom Prima was trapped in a torture like wheel shocking them but making Dan shake afraid, "And during each of your Standby Phases you take 500 points of damage."
"Bloom Prima!" Zuzu cried shocked seeing her monster trapped as she tries to break free but isn't able too as she breathed from using much of her strength.
Aura grunted before calling, "I activate Tarotrei's special ability!" Tarotrei moves it's mechanical arms to Yami Marik's face-down monster, "Let's see what your face-down card is!"
The limbs flipped the card in attack mode as it materialized to where they see it's a fiend having on purple armor with a golden armored torso, and collar, the Eye of Wdjat on it's face having sharp blades on both sides of it's head, and on top of his head as a helmet, green shoulder orbs, and green armors at it's waist armor along with having long claws as weapons.

"And now Tarotrei attack Makura the Destructor!" Aura called as Tarotrei charged a blast firing it at Makyura destroying it. (Yami Marik: 6900/Hand: 2) Yami Marik only smirked, "Why thank you."
"Huh?" the two looked confused before Yami Marik revealed he has Zuzu's Polymerization on his field shocking them before he shows a trap, "I had activated this card. Dark Spell Regeneration."

That was before he added, "While it's on the field it's opponent cannot attack it or use special abilities that target on it. Then during the end of the next turn, Sphere Mode is shifted to my side."
Suddenly Aura grinned, "I knew you had something like this, so I came prepared."
"What?" Yami Marik asked hearing that.
Aura activated a face-down, "I activate the trap card, Urgent Ritual Art!"

The Sphere form vanished as Yami Marik cried shocked, "What?"
"Priestess of ancient times who foresees everything! With the ancient description, now, be revived! Ritual Summon! Level 9! Holy Prediction Princess Tarotrei!"
Another Tarotrei rose up readying herself.

"Awesome she used his monster!" Riley smiled seeing that.
"She used an Egyptian God to Ritual Summon..." Dan trailed off shocked at what he just saw.
Yami Marik clicked his tongue in annoyance, "Fine, in that case, I activate Pot of Greed!"

The two flew up fusing together.

What rose up was a huge sliver slime tyrant shaping as Obelisk the Tormentor growling.

"Wait if he didn't discarded Ra earlier..." Dan trailed off remembering Yami Marik discarding a Divine-Beast from his hand at the second turn. He then asked confused, "Then what was it he discarded?"
"And with that, I ad my turn." Yami Marik smirked to them.

She thinks it over, 'It doesn't make sense here all he's doing is stalling, and built around Monster Reborn, and Ra with it's support...' She shook her head saying, "I can't let this stop me! Draw!" She drew from her Deck looking to see before Nightmare Wheel rolled Bloom Prima as she screamed as the lightning from the trap struck her causing her to yelp. (Zuzu: 3500/Hand: 2)
"During the Standby Phase the effect of Nightmare Wheel deals you 500 points of damage." Yami Marik reminded with a smirk.
Zuzu glared at him saying, "That won't stop me!" She looked at her drawn card, 'I gotta get rid of that Nightmare Wheel...' "I sacrifice Bloom Prima, and Elegy!" The two vanished as she called, "That allows me to summon Shopina the Melodious Maestra!"
From the monsters comes a new Fairy raising up. This fairy has white skin whle having green curled hair almost shaping as Geogre Washington's hair, wearing a white, and purple dress with gold wings, and a white inside almost shaping like a musical note with a transparent magical piano in front of her.

Then as Bloom Prima is sent to the graveyard when Fusion Summoned, I add another Melodious from the graveyard to my hand!" Zuzu said showing the cards being Sonata, and Mozarta, "Then since I have a Melodious I can summon this girl from my hand!"
Sonata rose up letting out a Melodic cry.

"Aura you wouldn't mind?" Zuzu asked her.
Aura grinned nodding before calling, "I activate Tarotrei's Special Ability to flip Egyptian God Slime back to face-up!"
Tarotrei's mechanical limbs flipped back Egyptian God Slime as it rose up roaring which confused them.

"Then as Sonata is face-up, and Specially Summoned, all Faries on my field gain 500 points!" Zuzu added as her two fairies energized.

"And now, I activate the trap, Melodious Illusion!" Zuzu added as she reveals the trap.

"And now first up Shopina attack Egyptian God Slime!" Zuzu called as Shopina readied a solo with her piano building up a magical blast.
Riley shocked cried, "Zuzu wait, Egyptian God Slime has higher attack points!" Seriously why is she attacking when her opponent's monster is stronger?
Zuzu grinned, "No sweat, Riley! I activate the effect of Score, the Melodious Diva in my hand! By discarding this girl from my hand, Egyptian God Slime's attack points goes to zero this turn!"
Shocked Yami Marik watched as Egyptian God Slime's points lowered. (ATK: 3000 - 3000 = 0) The first attack struck triggering a smoke cloud as Yami Marik grunted stepping back. (Yami Marik: 4100/Hand: 1) The smoke faded showing God Slime survived surprising them as Yami Marik grumbled, "Egyptian God Slime cannot be destroyed by battle..."
Zuzu hearing that blinked before grinning, "Alright that's more damage then! Shopina attack God Slime again! Majestic Piano Solo!" Shopina build up another piano strike firing it striking God Slime again as Yami Marik was pushed back. (Yami Marik: 1300/Hand: 1) From that Zuzu grunted before saying, "I done all I could here... I end my turn which means God Slime regains his points."

"You done great Zuzu! Let me take care of the rest!" Aura grinned before drawing looking to see what she drawn, "Okay first, I flip Coinorama!" The coin monster was revealed again giggling.

"And since she's flipped summoned, I summon a Flip Effect monster from my Deck!" Aura called setting a card after her Deck ejected a card, "I set Prediction Princess Astromorrigan! And due to Tarotrei's special ability, I flip her up!"
Tarotrei's limbs made the monster be flipped which was revealed to be a doll like monster. It has a small sword, and shield with a black soon that has red teeth, and white eyes as it's right eye while it's left has a crescent moon with the same smile while having a gold tiara with a red jewel with purple hair in two braids while wearing a dark purple like pink dress that has a silver armored torso.

Zuzu let out a big sigh of relief as Yami Marik vanished, "I thought for sure we'd face the Winged Dragon of Ra..."
"Well luckily we didn't..." Aura admitted to her. She then smiled, "We'd make a pretty good team."
Zuzu smiled back before they looked over to Dan, and Aura with Dan's shocked look made the two girls chuckle as Dan said in awe, "You... You both defeated him... And he didn't even summoned Ra..."
"The Egyptian Gods can be summoned from the graveyard can't they?" Zuzu couldn't help but ask him. Dan nodded which made her think, "Then why didn't he summon it from the graveyard when he had the chance?"
"It's because he can't."
They looked to see Noah materialized in a destroyed house's chair, and he looks a bit annoyed, "The Winged Dragon of Ra doesn't have the power like it used to. It cannot be Special Summoned by any means but his Deck was made to cheat that."
"Cheat not being Special Summoned?" Aura asked hearing that.
"Dark Spell Regeneration had another effect where he can discard Monster Reborn, and banish it to summon Ra from the graveyard, and send it back to the graveyard at the end of the turn. Millennium Revelation has another effect as well where by sending it to the graveyard he can use Monster Reborn to summon it but it also sends Ra to the graveyard at the end of the turn. Finally Sphere Mode's other effect is Tributing it to summon Ra from his hand or Deck with 4000 points, and can stay on the field. And even if you defeat Ra he can summon another form which is called Immortal Phoenix which is what he discarded with Millennium Revelation's effect the first time that has 4000 points, and unaffected to other cards along with paying 1000 points to send a card to the graveyard, and during the End Phase when summoned it can send itself to the graveyard to summon Sphere Mode again."
All of that shocked the four looking at each other with the cards Yami Marik has. The two girls are so lucky that they didn't experience those cards themselves cause that would mean serious trouble. It would also mean that Ra will be- Wait a second.
"Hang on... Even if it can be summoned with Millennium Revelation, or Dark Spell Regeneration then wouldn't it still be weaker?" Zuzu asked Noah thinking of that.
Naoh hearing that nodded, "Yes that's true..." He then narrowed his eyes, "Unless of course he has two cards to make up for that. Their was a reason why he summoned Guardian Slime with Monster Reborn instead of Ra. You remember what it does when sent to the graveyard?"
"Yeah..." Riley nodded remembering earlier. From thinking she looked at him, "You mean he can add another Spell, or Trap card when sent from the field?"
"Indeed." The boy in front of them confirmed, "It will allow him to either add a Spell called Blaze Cannon, or a Trap called Sun God Unification. They both increase Ra's attack points with Blaze Cannon being a Quick-Play gives Ra several effects Tributes monsters when it battles to gain points equal to their attack points but also make it unaffected to their cards, and sending all monsters his opponent controls to the graveyard." That had shocked the four before he had added to further enforce things, "And then Sun God Unification is a Continuous Trap that activates while their is a monster who's original name is the Winged Dragon of Ra the turn it's set who's effect allows him to give Ra all but 100 of his Life Points to power up Ra when it's Special Summoned, and has another effect to send Ra to the graveyard to gain Life Points equal to Ra's attack points."
"And... Combine that with Immortal Phoenix we would be wide open for a big attack!" Zuzu cried in shock.
"Then why didn't he summon Ra, then Immortal Phoenix, and Sphere Mode to have further defense?" Dan couldn't help but ask.
"Even if he did that the girl's spell, and Astromorrigan combo would still destroy Sphere Mode, and he loses either way." Noah stood up saying, "You two are quite lucky not to experience cards like that... But they won't be the last time you'll see them. If I know the Pharaoh, and I do he should have those cards with him." With that said he transported back to where he was before.
"He might've mean Atem... He is the only one capable of summoning all three of the Egyptian Gods at once." Dan admitted hearing that.
From that it makes sense why Noah would say that. Kaiba had probably remembered Yugi, and Atem's ceremonial duel, and had instilled it in data to one day challenge Atem somehow to where Noah had seen the data, and knows Pharaoh Atem which he later remembers that Noah tried to take over Yugi's body once but discovered Atem when he defended Yugi from Noah's attempt, and also had summoned Obelisk, Slifer, and Ra in that order against Yugi to where Yugi made a combo of Slifer's forced activation of Thunder Shot with Magnet Force to deflect it at the Egyptian Gods destroying them all. It still amazes Dan that Atem was able to summon all three of the Egyptian Gods at once which is not a very easy thing to do since gathering three monsters on the field is difficult much less sacrificing them to summon an Egyptian God one at a time unless they be sent to the graveyard when Special Summoned but Slifer wasn't sent to the graveyard when Special Summoned by Summoning Clock. He assumed that Summoning Clock had an effect to prevent Slifer from being sent or he's misremembering.
He is snapped out of his thinking hat when Riley took his hand telling him, "Come on Dan. We gotta find the others!"
Dan nodded as they ran off.
First of all sorry if you all we're hoping to see the Winged Dragon of Ra but as you can see that didn't really work out, Melodious, and Prediction Princess together are to strong together but don't worry we will see Ra eventually that's a promise. And from that both Zuzu, and Aura had defeated Yami Marik together despite his use of torture methods, and wielding the Winged Dragon of Ra. Now that he's stopped we can prepare ourselves for something new. Since this is an alternate version of Duel Monsters their obviously gonna have to be OCs included otherside form Yuji, and Chie since we seen Shinji, Melissa in Synchro, Shay, Moon Shadow (In this fic at least) in Xyz, and of course Sora, and Roget in Fusion along with any other origianl character from those Dimensions I haven't listed. This new character will be Special cause he will hold a new way to Ritual Summon like no other. Be sure to ask Dan questions, and be sure to review!
