This is how I think Mass Effect 3 should have ended.

It is two years after the war. Shepard and Garrus are still searching for what comes next when they are sent to investigate a rogue human colony on the edge of the galaxy. But the Council has not been honest, and more than one old enemy is waiting.

Heroes die and the rest just have to carry on. This story is an alternate version of Mass Effect 1 following the crew of the Normandy.

You know what they say: imitation is the best form of flattery. Parody is a form of imitation. Therefore, parody is complimentary. And with the ending Mass Effect 3 gave us, there's ample opportunity for flattery. Think "How It Should Have Ended" style.

A story based on the official Mass Effect canon, my own experiences and Malukah's amazing song "Reignite". Has some options/scenes that are not in the original; Joker and Shepard are best friends, expanded Kelly relationship, etc. Rated T for violence and brief, mild language. Please R&R!
