After the war with the Reapers, one figure pays a visit.

Sequel to 'Commander Shepard, Space Marine'. Kaidan Alenko's life is... interesting, to say the least. He's humanity's first Spectre and in love with a famous actress. But he's not quite sure about the stuffed toy kangaroo she keeps in pride of place in her apartment...

So the idea behind this is that, sometime between ME2 and ME3, Shepard is reminiscing about her crew and describing them to someone- maybe it's Vega, or Anderson, or Kaidan even. I'd quite like to do the rest of the crew as well, but we'll see.

This story follows the tale of three best friends of the Alliance Navy who were saved by Shepard on Eden Prime. Follow them as they travel across the galaxy with Shepard and her crew. From the moment Commander Shepard stepped onto the SSV Normandy, things would never be the same. For one thing, there went his retirement plans. A left of canon retelling of Mass Effect with deeper worldbuilding and more of a military fiction feeling. Slow burn Sheply.

When eezo is completely missed by humanity and they get an extra 100 years to develop, they're far more noticeable on the galactic stage. This is despite the Mass Effect side running on Over Analysis rules, and therefore being much more powerful. Add to that some culture shock, and you've got a recipe for either disaster or awesome and I'm not sure which!
