Normally, Merlin doesn't pay much attention to archaeological discoveries, having seen much of the past millennium and a half first hand. However, news of a particular discovery in south Wales captures his attention.

Spoilers up to Season 4 "Lamia". From there the story deviates from canon. Lancelot lives and the drama surrounding Gwen's exile did not happen, but the characters introduced during her exile might make appearance. Characters are OOC as suitable for the storyline. This is the first of three Merthian stories, for the Merthian Appreciation Month. Please understand that for this story Merlin in Camelot's Court Sorcerer. Gwen saves a puppy, Merlin sees to it's injuries, and they have to figure out who to give her to, because although they can't keep her, what with their demanding duties as royal servants, they do want to give her a good home. That's where Gwaine and Percival come in.

During a drunken night of bonding, Arthur challenges his friends to something quite interesting, they must all find someone to be in love with, and quick. What are the knights of the round table to do?

When Merlin becomes sick Arthur decides to care for his friend while Gaius is out of town. When Merlin's desease doesn't get better Arthur starts to accept the feelings he has been ignoring forever.

This is a Merthian story. When Mithian arrives for a event to celebrate Arthur and Gwen's son Lachlan's first birthday, she begins to meet up with Merlin. After a discussion as to how the new Court Sorcerer is in the company of outsiders, Mithian decides she will attempt to boost his confidence.

"I don't want you to change. I want you…to always…be you."

Oneshot. How come no-one ever brought up the war band that was destroyed by Kilgharrah's flames outside the caves in Ealdor? No-one likes to talk about Agravaine's death either. One would think that immediately after the turmoil of a hostile takeover there would have been more questions asked. Well, what if there had been? Rated T for description of bodies.

Post-Season 5. Moving didn't seem to be worth the effort. But he could not stand here, staring at Avalon, forever. Merlin did not want to return to Camelot, with all its painful memories, but he was still needed there. He would not abandon Albion- or its people- during its darkest hour.
