Shepard has been tense and angry since surrendering to the Alliance, especially when she can see the Alliance doing nothing about the Reapers, instead being judged and insulted by other marines. But Anderson, forever watching out for her, decides she needs a little company. RxR

A young man's traumatic present resolves as a result, but the ghostly remnants of their past experiences remain in each other as both throw themselves onward. (On indefinite hiatus. I like the concept enough to repurpose this into an original novel.)

Shepard goes to find out what caused a crash but Edi scans too late as it awoke a lone being of a long forgotten race. New race, Au and a lots of insanity.
