" Blake Where are you ?!" Amethyst yelled out as she, Yang, Ruby and Weiss were walking through the town of Vale, calling for the black haired girl who disappeared two days ago. Why ? After her short talk with Simba and Amethyst, Blake went back to her dorm only to find Weiss still saying bad things against the White Fang and after a short argument between the two, the Cat-Faunus had accidentally revealed what she truly was and her previous affiliation with the White Fang.
Seeing her mistake, she ran away from her Team-mates to disappear in the darkness of the night. The next day, Amethyst learnt this accident from Ruby and instantly went looking for Blake… after telling Simba of course. The Golden Lion had been FURIOUS at Weiss for her comments on Faunus and the Schnee Heiress received a SEVERE reprimand from the Lion. Of course he wanted to go out and look for the black haired Faunus but Amethyst told him that it was too dangerous for him to go out in the city.
" Blaaaaaaaake ! Where aaaare yoooouuuu !?" Ruby called out as she glanced around while beside her all her comrades, except Weiss was calling out for the blakc haired Faunus. " Weiiiiss, you're not helping !" the red teen remarked to her team-mate who retorted back harshly " : Oh ! You know what might be able to help? The Police !" Yang crossed her arms in irritation as she shook her head with a "Urgh Weiss..." while Amethyst was glaring daggers at the Schnee Heiress.
"It was just an idea !" Weiss replied back to defend herself but Ruby , who was walking down a sidewalk, responded by "Yeah, a bad one..." Yang, who was just behind her younger sister added in a calm tone as she looked at the Ice Queen " Weiss, I think we should hear her side of the story before we jump to any conclusions..." However, Weiss , hearing this, almost lost her composure as she retorted with a smug look " I think that when we hear it, you'll all realize I was right !"
Amethyst opened her mouth to snarl something at the Heiress but then another voice echoed nearby, catching her off guard "And I think Weiss' hair looks wonderful today !" Team RWY and Amethyst all turned around in surprise to face whoever talked. The newcomer was a girl their age with short, rather curly orange hair coming down her chin with a small cowlick on top and who was wearing a pink bow on the back of her head. She also had bright green eyes, light skin, and freckles on her face.
However before Amethyst could observe her more, Ruby's voice brang her back to reality "Aaaah ! Penny ! Where did you come from !?" The girl, 'Penny', cheerfully replied back, completely ignoring Ruby's question " Hey guys! What are you up to ? And who are you ?" the last part was for Amethyst as Penny eyed her "Amethyst meet Penny Polendina… Penny meet Amethyst Aster… a good friend of us !" Ruby replied with fake enthusiasm as she appeared at Amethyst's side.
"Its a pleasure to meet you… Huh Penny was it ?" Amethyst inquired as she extended an arm for a handshake to which the orange haired girl happily accepted in cheerful behavior "Yes ! Its equally a pleasure to meet a new friend !" The brown haired girl grinned back at her before looking at the other three girls "I like her already !" Yang, Ruby and Weiss gave her blank stares in response which caused her to snicker in amusement. "Anyway… We were looking out for our friend Blake..." Yang replied after a second of awkward silence.
"Oooooh you mean the Faunus girl !" Penny replied back and while the members of Team RWBY gave her stared at Penny with disbelief , Amethyst merely raised a brow, looking at the orange haired girl with curiosity, wondering how she found out " Wait, how did you know that ?" Ruby asked her still surprised and Penny replied by saying while pointing the top of her head "Uhh, the cat ears ?" At those words, Yang laughed a little "What cat ears ? She wears a... booooowww..." The realization left the members of Team RWBY in silence while Amethyst looked at Penny with an impressive look : if Blake hadn't told her herself she was a Faunus, she wouldn't have found it.
"She does like tuna a lot..." Ruby mumbled silently to herself but then her attention went back on Penny when the orange haired girl asked them "So, where is she ?" to which the Leader of Team RWBY replied by "We don't know... She's been missing since Friday..." Those words caused Penny to let out a gasp of shock before approaching an uncomfortable Ruby " That's terrible ! Well, don't you worry Ruby, my friend ! I won't rest until we find your teammate !"
Ruby was doing her best to keep smiling as she looked at Penny "Uh, that's really nice of you, Penny, but we're okay ! Really ! Right, guys ?" The red teen looked at her friends when she said the last part but they weren't there anymore as they dashed away as fast as they could leaving behind Ruby, Penny and Amethyst.
"It sure is windy today !" Penny remarked to Ruby who glanced at Amethyst with an expression that was clearly screaming 'HELP ME !'
"Sorry Rube you're on your own..." the brown haired girl whispered to the red teen who was about to retort when Amethyst added louder "I think I will look for Blake on my own… See you later !" then she dashed away as fast as she could, laughing when she heard Ruby yelling out after her "YOU TRAITOR !"

Amethyst was sighing as she was walking alone in the streets of Vale… It had been a moments since she 'wisely' chose to abandon Ruby with Penny. Don't get her wrong, she liked the orange haired girl but something was… off with her and she couldn't explain why she was feeling like she was talking to something unnatural. However, she quickly pulled herself out of her thoughts when a loud noise was heard. It sounded like an explosion and she turned her head toward where it came from…
Only to gasp when she saw smoke rising from where the docks should be ! Horror filled her as she realized that someone might be in danger and she rushed toward the dock only to come face to face with a strange sight : Penny was fighting against White Fang members with… flying swords ?! While not too far away, was Ruby and Blake along with a blond haired boy… a Faunus judging by the tail who was looking at the fight with amazement.
Three Bullheads suddenly came from the skies before opening fire on the battle currently taking place. However, much to Amethyst's surprise, Penny created a shield before launching two of her swords into the wall behind her, which pulled their wielder back with their strings. When her swords swirled around her again, she commanded them to open their points, building up a large glowing ball of green light before ,with a punching action, several bright lasers cracked the pavement firing at the transports which were sliced in half, causing several of the White Fang members inside to fall.
"Not to self… Never piss of that girl..." Amethyst mentally said to herself as she watched the fight with pure amazement as Penny aimed her swords at the remaining Bullheads, the ones who were holding a crate of… Dust before pulling back on their wires. Amethyst saw in the corner of her eyes her friend Ruby looking at Penny with pure amazement as she whispered something between her teeth but sadly the brown haired girl was too far to hear her.
However, she quickly looked away from her friend to see Roman Torchwick running toward the last remaining Bullhead and swiftly went after him to which he noticed so he aimed his cane at her before firing. Amethyst dodged the blast but then realized that it was just a distraction as she watched helplessly as Torchwick flied away from the battle.
"I will get you Roman… I don't care when and how… But I will get you..." the brown haired girl promised to herself as she got back on her feet, glaring at where the criminal disappeared, ignoring Blake, Ruby , Penny and the Blond Faunus as the four went to sit on some boxes to chat just as police sirens were heard coming closer.
A few minutes later, Weiss and Yang appeared on the docks as a handful of police cars were standing there while Amethyst, Ruby, Blake and Sun Wukong (the Blond Faunus boy from earlier that Blake presented). When the Schnee Heiress approached them, Amethyst glared at her direction just in case she tried something but just as Weiss was about to say something, Ruby beaten her to it " Look Weiss, it's not what you think ! She explained the whole thing ! See, she doesn't actually have a bow, she has kitty ears and they're actually kind of cute..."
But Weiss ignored the red teen as her eyes were locked on Blake who had a small blush on her face at her ears being called 'cute' and it deepened when Amethyst nodded in agreement while giving her a smirk. Coughing in her fist to regain her composure, Blake then looked back at Weiss before saying " Weiss, I want you to know that I'm no longer associated with the White Fang. Back when I was with the-"
However the black haired Cat-Faunus was interrupted by Weiss who replied sternly "Stop ! Do you have any idea of how long we've been searching for you?" The Schnee Heiress paused for a moment before resuming "Twelve hours ! That means I've had twelve hours to think about this ! And in that twelve hours, I've decided..." Yang, Sun and Ruby watched the scene with worried look on their faces while Amethyst's eyes narrowed at Weiss "I still if she start insulting her I'm gonna kill her..." she thought to herself as she waited for Weiss's answer.
"I don't care..." Weiss's response caused many to blink in surprise as it wasn't expected (Amethyst even gaped at the Schnee Heiress) but none of them was as surprised as Blake who asked still in a disbelieved tone "You don't care ?" to which Weiss asked back in a firm tone " You said you're not one of them anymore, right ?" "No, I-I haven't been since I was younger-" Blake tried to answer but was silenced by the Ice Queen "Ah-bahp-bahp-bahp! I don't want to hear it. All I want to know is that the next time something this big comes up... you'll come to your teammates ! And not some.."
Weiss interrupted herself as she shot a glance toward Sun wondering how she should call him. But then she saw the glare she was receiving from Amethyst who mouthed something like 'I will tell Simba'. She internally flinched as she remembered the reprimand the Golden Lion gave her not too long ago and quickly said "Someone else..."
Blake wiped a tear from her eyes, nodding as she glanced at Yang and Ruby as both of them grinned at her "Of course..." "And don't forget me and Simba !" Amethyst quickly replied with a small glare toward the Ice Queen who looked sheepish for a moment before returning to her cold behavior even if a smile was now gracing her features.
"YEAH ! TEAM RWBY IS BACK TOGETHER !" Ruby screamed with her arms waving wildly. As the six gathered with each other, Weiss pointed a finger accusingly toward Sun who flinched under her gaze "I'm still not quite sure about how I feel about you !" to which the Monkey Faunus laughed nervously. "Thats the Ice Queen for you Sun..." Amethyst muttered to the blond Faunus who glanced at her before flinching at the glare Weiss was sending at the both of them.
" Hey, wait a minute... Where's Penny ?" Ruby suddenly asked as she looked around. Amethyst herself blinked and her purple eyes scanned the area to find the orange haired girl but to no avail. The strange girl had vanished in thin air. "I don't know maybe she went back home ?" Yang inquired to her friends and team-mates who all nodded in agreement.
"Oh girls I almost forgot !" Amethyst exclaimed as she slapped a hand against her forehead "What ?" Ruby asked her with curiosity as the rest of her team-mates "Simba wanted to see you and Team JNPR !" the brown haired girl responded hurriedly. Before going out to look for Blake, Amethyst had asked the Golden Lion how long he would take before he would told their friends about who he was and he replied by saying that he didn't know.
"The sooner the better" she had told him and Simba had agreed to talk with them after finding Blake. Now that Team RWBY found their missing team-mate, all they had to do was finding Simba. "Why ?" Yang asked her with a bit of worry in her tone. She liked the Golden Lion but he could be scary at times. "He wanted to tell you his story..." Amethyst replied softy as her purple eyes eyed everyone. "His story ?" Ruby asked her back with curiosity "He is more than you realize..." Amethyst responded in an enigmatic tone that caused everyone to look at her with curiosity.
Seeing that she won't say more, the members of Team RWBY began their trip back to Beacon while Sun left to who-know-where . As she walked beside her friends, Amethyst knew she had to be there when Simba would tell his story : remembering the tragic events of his past were usually hard for him and she hated to see him so depressed and sad. When they arrived there, Ruby turned her head toward her Team-mates "I will look for Jaune and his team !" she shouted in excitement until she disappeared in a cloud of petals.
"Amethyst what do you mean when you said Simba is more than we thought ?" Yang asked the brown haired girl as they waited for Ruby to come back with Team JNPR "You'll see...Its not for me to say…" Amethyst replied back dismissively as she looked at the sky. Yang growled, unsatisfied by her friend's answer , and was about to ask again when a familiar voice echoed nearby "WE'RE HERE !"
Blake, Yang, Weiss and Amethyst turned their heads to see Ruby followed by Jaune, Pyrrha, Ren and Nora. All members of Team JNPR seemed curious "Hey girls ! Why did you asked us to come ?" Jaune, the leader of Team JNPR asked team RWBY with a raise-brow of curiosity "I hope its important ! Or I'm gonna break your legs !" Nora inquired sternly as she glared at them. She seemed exhausted.
"Simba want to see all of us apparently..." Weiss responded in a calm but curious tone as she glanced at Amethyst who stood there impassible. "But why ? Is he alright ?" Pyrrha asked her friends with some concern in her voice. Like the members of Team RWBY, the redhead enjoyed the Lion's company and saw him as a good friend despise him not being a Human or a Faunus. "He is… but he just want to talk to you...that's all..." Amethyst responded in a calm tone and some members of Team JNPR sighed in relief at hearing those words.
"What are we waiting for then ? Lets go find him !" Ruby said excitedly and were about to walk away when they realized something "But...where is he ?" at this question, all of them turned toward the only one who knew the Golden Lion well enough to possibly answer this : Amethyst. "I may have an idea…. The clearing we usually go when we went to stargaze...Follow me !" the brown haired girl inquired her friends as she lead them through the woods.
At the same time, in the clearing I question, Simba was indeed there and currently he was laying on the grasses, enjoying the feeling of the wind ruffling his russet mane, his eyes closed in pleasure. He was waiting for Amethyst to return with (possibly) the entirety of Team RWBY and JNPR. Internally he was a bit nervous about how they react after he told them who he really was. He knew that they might be shocked and horrified by what his Uncle Scar had done to both him and his father but he didn't know if his relationship with them would change after they learnt his true heritage.
His thoughts were sadly interrupted by someone's voice he knew and loved all to well "Enjoying yourself Big Boy?" He opened his eyes, turning his head toward where the question came from, only to see Amethyst, along with both Team JNPR and RWBY, all of them watching him with smiles on their faces. "I was yes…" Simba began to say with a chuckle before looking specifically at Blake "You nearly have us a heart-attack with your little disappearance you know kitty ?"
The question was asked with a teasing tone and Blake's eyes twitched at being called a 'Kitty' but she didn't have time to react as Weiss asked him with disbelief "Wait you knew ?! You knew she was a Faunus and you didn't told us ?!" Simba opened his mouth to respond but the Heiress turned her head toward Amethyst who was approaching the Golden Lion "You knew too right ?!" Amethyst turned her head with a neutral expression as she responded calmly "Yes… Blake told us two days ago..." "Then why didn't you tell us ?!" Yang asked them angrily, her lilac eyes turning red. Simba and Amethyst shared a brief glance before saying at the same time "You didn't asked..."
Blake eyed her team-mates and friends in amusement as Yang, Ruby and Weiss gave the two blank stares which caused the members of team JNPR to snickers. "Anyway...Amethyst said you wanted to talk to us ?" Pyrrha asked the Golden Lion with a gentle smile trying to focus on the main reason they were here in the first place. Simba's mood turned from amused to sad in a fraction of second and Amethyst putted a comforting hand on his left foreleg, looking up at him with a sad frown.
"Amethyst thought it was finally time for you all to know the truth of who I am..." Simba began to say as he looked down at the ground before gesturing for them to sit down which they did as they formed a half-circle in front of him while looking at the Lion intently. "To begin you must know I am not from Remnant… I came from another planet named Earth..." the Golden Lion began to say until Yang interrupted him " 'Earth' ? Its a silly name !"
However she quickly closed her mouth when she saw Simba looking at her sternly which caused her to mumble a soft 'sorry' before letting him resume "I was born in an area known to my kind as the 'Pridelands'… A territory were many species coexisted in harmony and without conflict… There were Humans in my world but they staid as far away from our lands as possible…Faunus were unknown to me until I arrived on Remnant..." the last part caused Blake's amber eyes to widen in surprise.
"Okay so you came from another world… I get it but how did you get in ours then ?" Jaune asked him with curiosity and Simba saw that they were all wondering the same thing "I will get there….The Pridelands were under the protection of a pride of Lions, my kind… and under the governance of the King Mufasa and Queen Sarabi… my parents..." Both team RWBY and team JNPR opened their eyes wide in shock at the last part, their mouthes gaping as they stared at him with surprise.
"You're a Prince ?!" They all shouted at the same time and Simba winced at the loud noise which they must have noticed because they instantly apologized "I was a Prince yes… Not anymore..." the Golden Lion responded sadly as he gazed at the ground. Amethyst, who was sitting beside him, gently pressed herself against his mane, giving him a comforting look. He gazed at her purple eyes for a moment before looking back at the others.
"What do you mean ?" Ruby asked him with concern as she didn't like seeing a friend unhappy and the others were looking at the Lion with concern. "While my father was loved and respected by every creatures in the Pridelands… except Hyenas..." "Hyenas ?" Ren asked him with a frown of confusion " Hyenas are nothing more than slobbering, mangy, stupid poachers who love to cause trouble and disrupt the Circle of Life !" Simba responded with a growl and everyone understood that whatever a Hyena was, their Golden Friend wasn't very fond of it.
"The Circle of Life ? What is that ?" Blake asked him with some curiosity. Simba smiled at the Black Faunus as a memory of one of his father's first lessons entered his mind before saying "Everything you see exists together in a delicate balance… This balance as to be protected and for that you must respect all Creatures from the crawling ant to the leaping Deer…If something and someone tried to disrupt Natural things then Balance would be broken and Chaos would take place..."
Both Team RWBY and JNPR staid silent as their mind processed what Simba just told them "I think I understand this concept… It is similar to the Food-Chain… the grasses is eaten by the Deer who in turn is eaten by the wolf… When the Wolf die, his body become grasses and it feed the deer… Its a infinite circle..." Blake explained after a moment of silence, looking at Simba for confirmation. "Indeed it is the Natural way of life… but some Creatures back in the Pridelands, especially Hyenas, disrespected totally this Balance and only hunted just for pleasure… That's why they had been banished from the Pridelands..."
"Those Hyenas sounds like bad news..." Weiss muttered to herself and Simba nodded at her, frowning. "Were Hyenas the only ones to not be banished ? Or where there more ?" Ruby asked the Golden Lion who responded "Of course, they were Jackals, some Vultures and some other Creatures I don't remember..." the red teen nodded at him in understanding just as Pyrrha spoke again "Simba I think we should get back to your story..." "Yes right !" The Golden Lion agreed quickly as his face turned firm...and sad.
"When I was born, everyone was happy because my father had a Heir for the throne… everyone except one…" The tone of the Lion's voice became deep and pained. "Who ?" Yang asked him with a frown as she shared a glance with some of the other people present. Amethyst gently caressed Simba's cheek and the Lion gave her a soft smile before answering " My Uncle… Scar..."
"Why wouldn't he be happy with your birth ?" Ren asked him gently when he, along with the others, saw how pained Simba looked at the moment.
"Scar was Mufasa's younger brother… And by our law, only the eldest came become King… Something Scar never accepted… He coveted the throne for a long time and was enraged when I was born because now he had no chance to take it if my father had to die..." Simba responded to the red haired member of Team JNRP who nodded at him. "I was unaware of his true self as he always hided his thoughts from everyone… For the next ten years, I grew up happily in the Pridelands along with my friend Nala… She was the only other cub in the Pride… One day, my father took me for a patrol of our kingdom, teaching me the Circle of Life and how important it was… until he had to leave because Hyenas entered our lands…"
Then he told them about the Elephant Graveyard and what happened then as he, Nala and Zazu, the King's majordomo faced three Hungry Hyenas until they were saved by Mufasa. The the Golden Lion told them about what his father told him when the King wanted to 'teach him a lesson' : the Great Kings of the Past.
As he spoked of this, Simba harbored a fond smile on his face , his mind filled with the souvenirs of his time in the Pridelands.
But then his fond smile turned into one of sadness and pain "I was unaware of what was about to happen the next day..." he muttered softy but loud enough for them to hear him and by the tone of his voice, all of them could tell that something bad was coming. "Its okay Simba… I'm here for you~" Amethyst whispered to him as she caressed his cheeks fondly. She had heard the story before and knew that this part of it was the one she hated the most… not only her… but Simba as well.
The Golden Lion nuzzled her with a soft purr before returning his attention to the group of teenagers in front of him "Scar took me to the Gorge where my father had apparently planned a surprise for me… I was so excited… He left me near a tree to collect his brother… As I waited, I decided to train on my roar..." A chuckled escaped his throat as he said the last part "It sounded no much like a roar back then though .."
But then his face turned serious again as he resumed "I trained for a long time… until the ground started to shake… as if something big was coming… I turned my head to see a herd of Wildebeests running toward me… It was a stampede..." A gasp escaped the assistance as they looked at the Golden Lion with wide eyes "I ran away to escape but to no avail… I was surrounded by hooves ready to trample me at any moment… Then I saw a dead tree nearby and I climbed on it… It was high enough to not be touched by horns..." he closed his eyes, the memory of the moment entered his mind as he spoke again "Suddenly, Zazu came out of nowhere and told me that help was on the way… I told him to hurry as I could barely hold my grip on the tree..."
Then he told them how his father bravely jumped into the gorge to save him despise being pushed by the scared Wildebeests "One of the scared Herbivore crashed against the tree and I was sent flying in the air… thankfully, my father caught me and was making his way to safety until he was knocked away by another Wildebeest… For a moment, I was alone and avoiding being crushed by the wall of hooves around me… Then I felt myself picked up from behind and carried toward a higher ground… It was my father who just had the time to put me there before being pushed back into the stampede..."
As Simba told his story, both Teams were looking at him with horror and shock, staring at him in stunned silence as none of them was able to say a simple word. "I scanned the stampede trying to find my father… Then I saw him leaping in the air before climbing the edge of the gorge… I looked away from him to start my own climbing, eager to meet him higher… I was wrong..." Simba stopped talking as the memory of this particular moment was too much for him, a few tears falling down his cheeks.
Amethyst instantly hugged her best friend's large head, gently kissing his head while whispering comforting words while around the two, everyone was staring at them with sad frowns even if they were stunned to see a large Creature such as Simba crying before then "What happened ? Blake asked in a gentle tone as she looked at the crying Lion with sad eyes.
Simba shot a pained glanced at Amethyst who gave him a warm smile in response causing him to sigh deeply before turning his head to face both Teams and answering sadly "I turned my head during my climbing to see how my father was going… Only to see him falling down the gorge, back into the stampede..." A gasp of horror escaped everyone's throat (except Amethyst who only looked at Simba with tearful eyes).
"Is he..." Ruby began to ask and Simba responded with a pained "Yes..." Instantly, he was embraced by a crying Nora and Ruby who hugged his mane, tearfully in an attempt to comfort him while around them, everyone else looked shocked by what they just learned : Yang had a horrified look on her face just like Blake while Weiss and Pyrrha had hand pressed on their mouths as tears fell from their own eyes. What of the two boys ? Well both of them were as shocked as the girls but tried to act tough by not showing it too much.
"Later, I went back in the gorge and I found the dead body of my father… As I cried against him, Scar appeared and asked me "What have you done ?" I said that it was an accident and he comforted me… but then he told me it was my fault if my father died because he came to save ME..." At those words, fury and anger began to spread through many people (Yang, Nora, Pyrrha, Blake and Weiss especially) as all of them were thinking the exact same thing "HOW DARE HE ?!" However, they quickly lost their angry stance when Simba spoke again.
"He said I had to run away and never return… I did… until I was chased down by three Hyenas… The same ones from the Elephant Graveyard… I managed to escape by going through bushes of brambles… As I ran away I heard them saying "If you ever come back we'll kill you !"…" New wave of anger from the audience " For the next two days, I was wandering into a desert… alone, thirsty and hungry… At the beginning of the third day, I was so exhausted that I felt from a dune before crashing my head hard against a rock… The last thing I remember then was the Vultures slowly approaching me before I lost consciousness..."
Silence was the only thing you could hear as they all stared at him with wide eyes of shock even if some of the girls were openly crying for him "When I re-opened my eyes, I was surrounded by darkness until I heard a voice me… It was my father… He told me I died too soon and I apologized to him for being responsible for his dead but he said it wasn't my fault… He then explained to me WHO was the true responsible..."
"Who was it ?" Jaune asked him in a soft tone and everyone's eyes widened in horror when the Golden Lion responded in a pained tone one simple word "Scar..." " Your Uncle killed your Dad ?!" Yang shouted in disbelief and Ruby, who was still against his mane,looked up at him with tearful eyes "Tell me its not true !"
The look Simba gave them was the only proof they needed as he replied back in a heart-broken tone "It is true… Scar used me as a bait to lure his older brother in the gorge and when Mufasa was climbing the gorge… He pushed him back to his death..."
"Simba I'm..." Pyrrha began to say before pausing as she stared at him with nothing but pure sorrow but the Lion was too caught on in his emotion that he kept talking "I thought that I would stay with my father but no… Because I died sooner that I should, I was given another chance in Life by Two Gods who sent me in Remnant..." Another gasp of shock escaped everyone's throat (except Amethyst) as they stared at him with surprise "You were sent here by the Two Brothers ?!" Weiss asked him with disbelief and he nodded at her.
"Why did they sent you here ?" Blake asked him with curiosity as she stared at him with her amber eyes "From what my father said, the two Gods of Remnant were traveling the Universes, looking for a Creature who understand how important Life is and they found it on Earth… They wanted to take my father but a person called 'Fate' didn't allowed them as apparently my father died as he should have… unlike me..." Simba responded in a calm tone even if it was easy to hear the sadness from his voice.
"For the next 8 years, I grew up alone on Remnant, training myself to survive against Grimm, avoiding both Humanity and Faunus..." Simba was then interrupted by Ren who asked "Wait you AVOIDED Humanity and Faunus ? Why ?" "In my old world, Humans are seen as Creatures of Destruction who only thought of themselves and doesn't care about the Circle of Life and other Living-beings… As for Faunus, I was wary of them because they look like Humans..." Simba responded with a hint of shame in his tone.
"Then why are you so calm with us now ?" Weiss asked him with a frown while crossing her arms as all of them looked at him, waiting for his answer. "I met someone who showed me that not all Humans were bad… Someone who became my first friend in Remnant..." Simba responded as he looked at a certain brown haired girl who smiled back at him before hugging his face tightly causing him to purr loudly with affection.
"I'm sorry you had to go through this Simba… but you are our friend now !" Ruby said with determination and around her everyone nodded their heads with agreement "You might not be a Human..." Yang began to say until Blake added "or a Faunus..." "But you are a good Lion and you are all proud to call you our friend !" the blond girl resumed with a cheer which was followed by the rest of her team-mates and the members of Team JNPR
"GROUP HUG !" Nora shouted as she launched herself at the Golden Lion quickly followed by her friends and only the boys staid behind but where smiling at the scene. Simba's eyes watered as he stared at the teenagers around him : he now knew that he wasn't alone anymore… He had friends he could count on and he would protect them with his life if he had too. But now, he had cuddles and hugs to give. At the same time, Amethyst was smiling at all her friends and was internally overjoyed about how Life had gifted her with such amazing people she was proud to call her family.
