Simba was laying down on the ground, his eyes wandering around the room he was currently in. He was inside the ballroom and thankfully to an area where it was mostly without objects he would accidentally broke. The Golden Lion looked at the streamers hanging through glass chandeliers while pink and blue balloons were everywhere in sight. The room was filled with students in dark suits and bright dresses stepping with each other to the music between the white-clothed tables.

It was the first time Simba was in a ball and so far it was kinda nice. Being a Lion, he didn't or rather couldn't wear anything but was still allowed to come by both Ozpin and Glynda. Simba smiled when he saw Blake, who had FINALLY accepted to join her team-mates at the dance, being spun around by Yang who was wearing a short, white, halter neck dress with a pale gray hem and white pumps.

The Cat Faunus , for her part, was wearing a short, purple, halter neck dress which was spliting up at the right side with a black collar. Translucent black mesh were covering her shoulders, decolletage and back, and decorative black swirls was doing the same on the left side of the dress. The black pumps completely completed the outfit and to hide her cat-ears, Blake placed a teal bow on her head.

Not too far from the two, were the rest of Team RWBY, Weiss and Ruby. The first one had a short, white, sleeveless dress with cutouts on both sides of her waist. The yoke of the dress was translucent mesh and she also was wearing white pumps. The Leader of Team RWBY was equally good-looking right now : Ruby had a short, red, sleeveless dress with a thick black sash around the waist and black trimming along the bottom. The bodice of the dress was split vertically to the sash and laced with black lacing. The yoke of the dress, like Weiss's, was transparent but meshed with an opaque collar and hem along with opaque lines connecting the collar to her shoulders. In addition Ruby wore black stockings and pumps.

Simba then saw Sun Wukong stepped closer to Blake before taking her hands which Yang allowed before the blond brawler went to stand with her younger sister and the Schnee Heiress. A warm smile appeared on the Lion's muzzle when he saw the joy in Blake's amber eyes as she was enjoying her moment with Sun but then he heard Ruby's voice shouting " Does that mean I can change out of these stupid things and into my hood now ?!"

He turned his head to look at the red teen who was now alone as Yang and Weiss went to different directions leaving their team-leader behind until Ruby was approached by Professor Ozpin himself. The Golden Lion was curious of their conversation but was too far too heard them and the noises produced by the people here didn't helped much.

Simba then looked away from the two to look around until his red eyes fell on Velvet, the shy Rabbit Faunus, who was dancing with her team-mate Coco Adel. Coco was extremely protective of the Faunus and could be scary at times but she was kind enough despise being a little weird. The smile Velvet harbored as she danced with her partner caused him to smile as well. Suddenly the sound of an open door echoed nearby and he turned his head to see Emerald entering the ballroom.

The green haired girl was wearing an olive-colored, halterneck, backless dress with a black sash around her waist, and matching heeled pumps. Emerald looked around when her eyes landed on the Golden Lion and with a smile, she approached him. It had been a few hours since Simba was introduced properly to the green-haired girl and he kinda liked her. Amethyst had told her childhood friend about his life and she had been sorry for him and promised to always be there for the two of them.

Amber, the Fall Maiden, also became someone he liked despise the fact he just met her. She was really kind and had showed him nothing but sympathy for him especially after she learned about his past life back in the Pridelands. Amber became the older sister he never had. However, she had declined to come at the dance, being used to be alone (like he was at first) but had told him to be prepared for tonight.

When he asked her what she meant, she gave him a devious grin not saying anything back. Even Emerald had refused to tell what Amethyst had planned tonight but seeing the grin she had when she refused, he could tell it was something big. "You finally came !" Simba welcomed the green haired girl who greeted him back before asking teasingly "Why ? Do you not wanted me here ?" "No no no nothing like that ! Good dress by the way !" The Golden Lion replied back to change the subject and thankfully his ruse worked because Emerald responded in a gentle tone "Thank you ! But I hate it so much ! How can people move in them ?!"

"Don't ask me..." Simba replied back with a grumble until the two of them heard a chorus of laugh coming from nearby. Emerald blinked but then giggled loudly "What are you laughing at ?" Simba asked her with a raise-brow and she pointed at something with a finger. The Golden Lion turned his large head to look at what she was pointing… only to laugh himself at the sight he met : Jaune Arc, the Leader of Team JNPR, was dancing with Pyrrha but he was wearing a dress !

"That's the funniest thing I ever seen !" Simba managed to say between two laughs and Emerald, who was laughing herself, replied back in agreement "Me too !" Just then Sun and Blake approached to join Team JNPR in their dance while Penny (what ?!) was standing near some Atlesian Soldiers, doing the 'robot' dance with one of them. "Can you now tell me where is Amethyst ? I still don't see her anywhere..." Simba inquired to the green haired girl beside him only to received a mischievous grin in response along with a soft "You'll see..." Grumbling in annoyance, she looked away from Emerald when he saw Ruby making her way toward the exit.

Curious, the Golden Lion got up to follow her "Where are you going ?" Emerald asked him with curiosity and he turned his head to answer "I will be back..." then he went after Ruby. He found her looking at the moon "Ruby ?" at the call of her name she turned around to look at him with surprise "Hey Simba..." "Are you okay ?" the Golden Lion asked her with concern and she gave him a soft smile as she responded back "I'm fine… its just… I feel out of place…" "Its your first time isn't it ?" Simba asked her with understanding as he sat beside her.

"Yes…" Ruby responded with shame as she looked down at the ground "Its my first time too you know… To be honest with you Ruby, I was nervous and scared… But you know why I still came anyway..." Simba explained softy as he looked at her gently "No why ?" Ruby asked him with curiosity "I came because I was also curious… And maybe because Amethyst planned something… Did you saw her by the way ?" Simba asked her with some concern.

"No I didn't… I didn't saw her in the ballroom..." Ruby muttered softy but loud enough for the Lion to hear her. "Great… Just Great !" Simba grumbled to himself when suddenly they heard Ozpin's voice echoing from the ballroom "Now ladies and gentlemen, I ask you to welcome a young student who asked me to let her sing before you ! Ladies and Gentleman a round of applause for Miss Aster !" Hearing this, Simba and Ruby looked at each other before returning back into the ballroom where they saw Amethyst climbing on the stage.

Simba was stunned of how gorgeous she looked in her black dress and the collar around her neck shined under the light of the room, exactly looking like her eyes. Amethyst looked at where he was with a warm smile on her face before saying in a loud tone so everyone could hear her, facing the assistance "Hello everyone ! If I am on this stage today, its to sing for someone I love… Someone present in this same room…" She paused as her purple eyes landed on the Golden Lion who blinked in shock at the next words she said next "Simba… This song is for you !" Then the music started to play and everyone went silent as they listened to Amethyst as she started to sing.

As Amethyst sung, Simba's eyes were watering, unable to look away from the girl he loved more than anything especially when she was practically declaring her love to him. Then he slowly approached the stage, ignoring the looks he was receiving from everyone until he stopped in front of Amethyst whose purple eyes looked down at him for the last words of the song. His heart was beating faster in his chest as he stared at the brown haired girl and he knew… he wanted no other girl in his life than her. Just as Amethyst finished her song, Simba , much to everyone's shock, opened his mouth to sing back

"I was so afraid
Now I realize
Love is never wrong

And so it never dies
There's a perfect world
Shining in your eyes"

Amethyst's purple eyes watered as she listened Simba's voice singing back to her as around the stage, everyone looked at the Lion with a stunned expression on their faces but a lot of girls were looking at both her and Simba with excitement and amazement. Amethyst was also overjoyed that the Lion she loved… had equal feelings for her and a joyful smile grew on her face as she looked at Simba with pure affection and when the Lion finished talking sung the last words, they exchanged a brief look before singing together.

" And if only they could feel it too

When they finished singing, Amethyst instantly jumped out of the stage to hug the Lion's head tearfully while Simba, who was equally in tears, purred in affection at the hug he was receiving from the girl. Around them everyone was clapping their hands and some were whistling cheerfully for the two. Team RWBY and JNPR along with Velvet ,Coco and Emerald were among them as they all looked at the duo with happy smiles on their faces.

"I love you Simba~" Amethyst whispered to the Golden Lion who looked back at her with nothing but pure love on his face as he replied back softy "I love you too Ame~" But then someone in the assistance gasped, and everyone turned their heads to look at Neptune who pointed a finger toward the ballroom's entrance. They all turned their heads only to gasp in shock when they saw a Transparent Massive Amber-golden furred Lion with a dark red man entered the room.

"Father !" Simba shouted in greeting and everyone present looked at him with disbelief until Amethyst said something that tranformed the surprise into general shock "King Mufasa..." All people present looked at the Spirit with looks of bewilderment as some of them were whispering to each other with admiration and amazement. Team RWBY and JNPR were among those people. They were looking at Simba's father with nothing but pure admiration and even Weiss softy commented that he was regal looking.

"Your Majesty…. We are honored to have you at Beacon Academy..." Ozpin said respectfully with a small bow which caused the Spirit to looked away from his son to look at the Headmaster " The honor is mine Professor Ozpin..." Mufasa responded in a deep but gentle tone which surprised more than one that a Creature as imposing as him could talk like this. Then the Former King of the Pridelands turned his head to look back at a certain brown haired girl "Young one… Do you love my son ?" Blinking at the question, Amethyst responded by the affirmative "Are you willing to do anything to be with him ?" Mufasa asked her next in a neutral tone as he looked at her with seriousness.

"Yes..." Amethyst responded back as she gazed at Simba who returned the stare with a warm smile. Mufasa nodded his large head before turning around to leave the ballroom but not before saying in a demanding tone "Follow me then ..." Amethyst glanced at everyone present before going after the Spirit, quickly followed by Simba, Team JNPR, Team RWBY and the others. Mufasa didn't went far as he stopped in the school's courtyard before turning around to face them.

The entire school's staffs and students formed a half-circle around the Spirit waiting for what he had planned. "Young one come forward..." Mufasa inquired Amethyst calmly as he sat there in the middle of the courtyard. The brown haired girl gulped in nervousness before stepping closer after Simba gave her a gentle and comforting smile. "Amethyst are you ready to give up your Humanity to be with my son ? Choose your next words carefully as once its done there will be no way back !" Mufasa inquired her in a serious tone but not unkindly and the brown haired girl glanced at Simba before looking back at the Former King.

"If staying with Simba means abandoning my Humanity… then I will do it..." Amethyst responded with determination and murmurs were heard from the crowd until Simba took a step forward "Amethyst are you sure it is what you want ? What about Beacon ? Don't you want to become a Huntress ?" the Golden Lion asked her in a soft tone which caused the brown haired girl to turn around to look at him " Entering Beacon had always been one of my wildest dream you know that but… I discovered something far more valuable than becoming a Huntress..." then she paused as she looked at Simba with nothing but pure love "I found Love~" The Golden Lion looked back at her with tearful eyes as a soft purr escaped his throat.

Around them, the crowd letted out a loud "Awwwwwww" like sound as they watched the interaction between the two. Ruby and Nora were wiping the tears away from their eyes at the cute scene before them. Pyrrha too was crying but tried to hide it with a small smile while Yang, Weiss and Blake were all smiling at the two as they knew they loved each other dearly.

Mufasa seemed pleased by those words as he went back on his paws before approaching Amethyst who froze when the Spirit's nose touched the top of her head. At this moment, her body was surrounded by a bright light which caused everyone else present to turn their heads away to not become blind. Back to Amethyst, she was in a world of pain as she felt her body twitching and shifting : her hands and feet were slowly changing into paws; her body was slowly covering itself with fur; a tail grew from her backside…

For a moment, the crowd had to cover their eyes and when they stopped, they had to blink several times before looking back toward Mufasa and Amethyst who was now a ball of light but far less bright than earlier "It is done…" Mufasa inquired gently before looking back at his son who was stepping closer "You chose well my son…" the former King added to Simba who nodded with a smile as he watched his father slowly fading from existence before disappearing completely.

A gasp echoed in the air when they all looked at Amethyst once she was 'released' from the ball of light. Right where she was a few seconds ago, there was now a large but beautiful Lioness. Her body was muscular but not as heavier than Simba's and instead tended in a leaner and sleek on. She was also broad shouldered while on her elbows was a tuft of dark brown fur. In addition, she had a reddish-brown fur while her eyes-rims, muzzle, belly and paws were all cream in color. The tip of her tail had the same color of fur than the elbows and also possessed dark ear rims and a brownish nose.

Emerald was watching the former Human with stunned eyes as was everyone present in fact. None of them, despise having SEEN the event, could believe that Amethyst the Human was now Amethyst the Lioness ! Simba, still harboring a shocked look on his face, approached the reddish-brown Lioness before calling out softy "Amethyst ?" A groan responded him as the Lioness woke up and he watched as she stared at her paws in amazement before looking back at him.

Simba saw with satisfaction that she still had her beautiful purple eyes except that she now had yellow scleras "How do I look ?" she asked him with a smile, her eyes shining as she stared up at him, waiting for his answer "Like a Liones… except you have horns..." Simba replied calmly but his eyes were shining with playfulness. "WHAT ?!" Amethyst said in shock as she tried to look at the top of her head only for Simba to gently tap her shoulder with a paw "Gotcha !"

Amethyst and Simba both laughed before the Golden Lion jumped away quickly followed by the newly made Lioness as the two chased after each other only to jump into each other 'arms' still laughing. Around the two, the crowd were still watching the scene in silence but judging by the smile everyone harbored, it was easy to tell they were all happy for the two and some girls were heard gushing at the scene.

However the scene quickly shifted away from the Lions when Nora,Ruby and Yang started to cry "Its so beautiful !" The Blond of Team RWBY commented tearfully as she stood near Weiss who rolled her eyes playfully before pulling out handkerchiefs for her crying team-mates who accepted them wholeheartedly. Velvet and Coco were still gazing at the two Lions who were now nuzzling each other with warm smiles on their faces even if the fashioner was taking pictures with her scroll.

Suddenly, Ruby used her Semblance to come closer to the Lions before pouncing on Amethyst who hugged the red teen after getting rid of the previous shock. Soon, the rest of Team RWBY approached the reddish-browned Lioness who enveloped all of them into a group hug under the eyes of Simba who smiled at them. "Take good care of her or I will beat you !" Emerald menaced him when she stepped closer with a glare toward the Golden Lion who responded calmly "I will keep that in mind..."

Then he looked back toward Amethyst who was still being congratulated by her friends and some other students and smiled at her lovingly. The reddish-browned Lioness, as if she had felt his gaze, turned her purple eyes toward him with a loving smile… the smile he loved so much. Simba, with a purr, stepped closer before pressing his head against her and he heard her purring back in affection.

The Golden Lion faintly heard Ozpin called the students back to the Ballroom to continue the dance but he ignored it as he was cuddling Amethyst, the Human-turned Lioness he grew to love. Internally, he was overjoyed because he wasn't the only Lion on Remnant and thought that he couldn't be happier than just with being with Amethyst.
