"You'll always be welcome here ! And tell Blake we love her with all our heart !" Ghira Belladonna inquired loudly to Simba and Amethyst as he along with Sienna Khan, Bianca, his wife Kali Belladonna and several others Faunus were watching them as the two Lions were ready to climb on the Bullhead. It had been two days since Simba and Amethyst went to Mistral and many things happened after the reddish-browned Lioness killed Adam Taurus, preventing him to murder Sienna.
First of all, the High Leader of the White Fang had ordered the return of every members of Taurus's group to come back on Mistral and had given them a good reprimand for their actions in Vale as she was still furious at them for working with a Human, a Criminal at that. Then the Tiger-faunus had revealed to them that Adam was dead (to their horror and shock), revealing that he attempted to assassinate her to dethrone her as High Leader.
Some had openly admitted that Adam would have been a better leader than her or that she was 'too soft' to command the White Fang. Thankfully, it was just a handful of them. Of course that didn't stopped Sienna to execute them for their betrayal. Sienna then called the former Leader of the White Fang (and the actual chieftain of Menagerie) Ghira Belladonna, Blake's father and both Lions had been surprised by the imposing Faunus.
Ghira was without contest the biggest Faunus they had ever seen. The Chieftain of Menagerie had black hair, a thick beard and yellow eyes. He was wearing at the top an open dark-violet coat with white fur trim, exposing a patch of black fur on his chest. Over his beige pants was a matching sash wrapping around his waist and secured with a large, silver metal buckle. On the shoulder of his coat, we could see a silver metal spaulder, which through a pair of curved strips across the chest attaches like a clasp on the opposite front panel of the coat. The white toes of his black leather boots had a shape which looked like clawed paws .
Apart of Ghira, another Faunus came and Amethyst thought that she was seeing an Older version of her friend Blake although her ears were noticeably larger and with more fur . It was Ghira's wife : Kali Belladonna . She had short black hair and three gold piercings on her cat ears and wore a black hakama and sandals with white tabi socks. Over her outfit, she worea black shrug with a long right sleeve and a short left sleeve, gold-leaf trim adorning the opening on the front. In addtion, she had long, black arm warmers that extend to the middle finger. The left warmer has a purple band tied around the top and a pair of gold bangles around the wrist. Around her waist was a black and gold sash that trails behind her, with a gold flower-shaped buckle at the end.
The two had greeted Sienna in a friendly manner but had been a bit wary of the Lions especially of Simba because of the two he was bigger and more imposing. To calm the tensions, Amethyst had told them that she and her mate were Blake's friends and almost instantly, Kali had bombarded her with questions like 'How is she ?' or 'Do she eat well ?'. The reddish-browned Lioness had answered the questions as best as she could and the two parents seemed relieved that their daughter was fine and had plenty of friends.
Simba had then revealed to them that Blake missed them but was too nervous to call them because she felt guilty for not listening to them. Hearing this, Ghira and Kali had both promised to go see their daughter at the Vital Festival and be there for her. Sienna then had revealed to the two what Adam did in Vale and the two were shocked and horrified by the news. The former Leader of the White Fang then had proposed to help Sienna as best as she could so no one would become like Adams and the executed White Fang members and Sienna accepted gratefully.
Simba took a liking to Ghira as the imposing Faunus reminded him of his father Mufasa and enjoyed the discussion they had together while Amethyst had a 'girls-time' with Sienna, Bianca and Kali. She had accidentally revealed that Simba was an orphan and the Red Maned Lion had received hugs and comforting gestures from both Kali and Bianca.
Kali was the pure definition of a mother : sweet, caring, good-hearted but , from what he heard from Ghira, could be fierce and dangerous if angered. Simba had enjoyed the attention even if it was a bit embarrassing for someone his age but deep down, he missed this maternal attention so he didn't said anything when Kali…mothered him a bit.
Amethyst herself wasn't spared from Kali's motherly affection as Simba replied back that she was an orphan herself. Blake's mother to like the two of them and Ghira didn't seemed to mind especially when Simba openly told him that he acted like his father. After that, the two Belladonnas treated them as if they were their blood-children despise them being Lions. Bianca, for her part, acted like a little sister-figure for the two of them as she acted childishly from time to time.
Under Amethyst's insistence, Simba had told Sienna and the rest about Cinder Fall, the Fall Maidens and most importantly Salem. The Faunus Leaders were shocked to hear those informations and Amethyst had told them that Ozpin knew about the Queen of Grimm but didn't wanted to create a general panic by revealing her existence. Sienna had been even angrier at Adam for working with someone who want nothing but destruction and was internally a bit disappointed that she wasn't the one to kill him for his crimes.
When Simba finished his explanations, Sienna Khan and Ghira Belladonna promised to help if Salem tried something and the Lions were happy to hear those words but then a guard had entered the throne to say that a strange Creature had been seen in the North part of Mistral… a Creature which looked like Simba ! Those news had shocked the two Lions especially Simba since the Golden Lion had always thought that he was the only Male Lion on Remnant while Amethyst seemed both shocked and happy.
That's bring us back to present, Simba and Amethyst were standing before the Bullhead Ozpin had 'gave' them two days ago. "We will ! Blake will be overjoyed to hear about you !" Amethyst replied back to Ghira who nodded his head while Kali stepped closer to hug the both of them one after the other "Take care you two~" Blake's mother cooed to the Lions who nodded at her with a soft purr. "We promise..." Simba and Amethyst whispered softy to the motherly Faunus before climbing in the Bullhead, waving a paw at them as a goodbye to which they returned.
"Where are we going now ?" The pilot asked the two once he closed the cockpit and the Lions glanced at each other : they were a bit conflicted. They wanted to head North to find the strange unknown Lion but they also wanted to go back to Beacon to find their friends and tell Ozpin the news. "We go back to Beacon Academy of course !" Amethyst said with enthusiasm to the pilot who nodded before saying to them "Hold on back then !" with that said, the Bullhead lifted from the ground under the eyes of Sienna, Bianca, Ghira, Kali and the guards who waved their hands at them as the airship flied away.
Back in the Bullhead, the two Lions were laying down talking to each other "Now we won't have to worry about the White Fang..." Amethyst said with relief to her mate who nodded at her before responding back in a somber tone "Yes but remember not all members of Who-know-you's inner-circle had been apprehended..." "Yes I know… Thankfully there is only one left now…" The reddish-browned Lioness sighed deeply as Simba nodded in agreement.
From Salem's inner-circle, the only one who hadn't been arrested was Tyrian Callows, the Scorpion-Faunus and a well-known serial killer. The Police was unable to find him and when they do, the guy didn't backed down without a fight and killed everyone who dare to arrest him. From what he heard, Tyrian loved the thrill of the hunt and was considered as a sadistic killer and bloodthirsty.
"Who know what they might be thinking now…" The Red Maned Lion mumbled to his mate who nodded in agreement before whispering back "You-know-who must be furious that her pawns were arrested… Do you think she would attack herself ? Or sent Tyrian to do her dirty job ?" "I don't know… but whatever will happen, we will face them !" Simba retorted back with determination and Amethyst nodded in agreement before pressing her head against the Golden Lion's mane.
"You should rest guys ! It will take some time before we reach Beacon !" The pilot warned them from his seat and the Lions agreed with him as they pressed their bodies against each other. Amethyst purred as she nuzzled Simba's face and he purred back with affection until the reddish-browned Lioness placed her head on her front-paws with a yawn before closing her eyes. The Red Maned Lion watched her resting form with warmth but then his mind wandered back toward the unknown male Lion seen in the Northern part of Mistral.
While he was overjoyed to hear that there was another Lion on Remnant, he couldn't help but being slightly worried as many questions entered his mind : Who was he ? How did he came in Remnant ? Was he friendly ? Shaking his head as he had no answers for those questions, Simba licked the top of Amethyst's head before putting his head on his front-paws and closing his eyes so he could rest for a bit.

"Dear passengers, we are finally at our final destination : Beacon Academy ! Thank your all for choosing our modest company and we wish you a good day !" the pilot said to the two amused Lions , who had woken up a few minutes ago due to a turbulence. Amethyst snorted at the pilot's little joke and Simba was shaking his head but with a smile of equal amusement on his muzzle before the two of them saw the cockpit opening up.
Outside, the two Large Cats could see the cliffs where Bullheads and other airships could disembark whatever they had (passengers or objects) and looked at their pilot when the airship landed "Thank you for the ride !" Amethyst said to the pilot who nodded at them saying as the two felines disembarked "Hope to see you soon !" then the man closed the cockpit before flying away to who-know-where. With the airship gone, Simba shot his mate a devious grin "The last one to go has to do everything the winner said !"
As he said those words, he ran away as fast as he could with a laugh. "HEY ! THAT'S CHEATING !' Amethyst cried out with fake-annoyance as she rushed after him but her cries only amused the Red Maned Lion as he laughed harder. For a moment, they ran all the way to Beacon and Amethyst was the first one to enter the courtyard "I WON !" the reddish-browned Lioness shouted loudly in triumph when Simba joined her a few seconds later to stand beside her and saying proudly "You did… Its no surprising though… Lionesses are faster than us Lions..."
"Welcome back to Beacon you two ! I hope the meeting went well ? " a familiar masculine voice echoed nearby and the two Lions turned their heads away from each other to see Ozpin approaching them with Glynda who shot them a soft smile. "It was...interesting Professor..." Amethyst responded with nervousness and Simba nodded in agreement "So what happened ? What Sienna wanted you for ?" Glynda Goodwitch asked them with a calm tone but if we listened closely, we could hear the concern in her tone.
"Thanking us principally but she was also curious of why Amethyst decided to help Faunus and why she chose to give up her Humanity..." Simba replied in a neutral tone and Ozpin looked at him with a raise-brow "Really ? That's all then why did you take so long to come back ?" the old man asked them curiosity and Glynda herself was eying them inquisitively. "Something else happened… Adam Taurus came and tried to kill Sienna..." Amethyst began to say in a sad tone before pausing as she looked away in shame.
"If it wasn't for Amethyst, Sienna would be dead and the White Fang would be under Adam's leadership… I tried to reason him at first but he was consumed by his hatred and anger..." Simba added quickly when he saw the sadness in his mate's purple eyes. "What happened to Mr Taurus then ?" Glynda asked them with a concerned expression on her face as she looked at a saddened Amethyst "He is dead… Ame accidentally killed him..." the Red Maned Lion responded as he gently nuzzled Amethyst's right cheek.
Ozpin closed his eyes with a sigh, his expression unreadable while Glynda had putted a hand on her mouth, looking at the reddish-browned Lioness with wide eyes "Apart of this what happened ?" Ozpin asked to change the subject much to Amethyst's relief as she was the one to answer "We told Sienna what Adam was doing in Vale and she was furious so she called all the White Fang members here back to Mistral… Some were like Adams and were executed while others had changed their way to stay with Sienna…" "Then she called the Chieftain of Menagerie , Ghira Belladonna, to discuss those new events… He and his wife are kinda nice..." Simba added neutrally and his mate shot him a mischievous grin as she replied teasingly "Of course you do you big fur-ball ! Kali couldn't stop mothering you !"
Simba grumbled something under his breath in annoyance and the other three were looking at him with amusement. "In short, the White Fang won't join Salem !" Amethyst quickly declared and recoiled in fear when Ozpin's calm face turned stern "Did you told them about Salem ?!" the Headmaster of Beacon asked them with a stern glare and Simba growled as he faced the Old Man before responding in a cold tone "We did ! Now The White Fang and the Members of Menagerie will ally with us in case our Enemy attacks !"
For a moment, both Simba and Ozpin glared at each other under the worried eyes of Amethyst and Glynda but then the Headmaster sighed before saying "I don't like it but at least some good came out of it..." Simba nodded in agreement not saying anything as he looked at the old man sternly. "In your absence, a lot have happened here, Team RWBY will tell you… The last time I saw them were near your dorm...You can go..." The Two Lions bowed their heads at the old man before rushing away to find their friends, leaving behind Ozpin and Glynda.
"Professor I know you don't like it but we cannot fight Salem alone ! The more allies we have the better !" The blond Teacher inquired to the older man who sighed deeply as he whispered back "Maybe you are right…" and then they went toward Beacon Tower where they would share the news with General Ironwood. Meanwhile, the two Lions walked toward their dorms where they found Team RWBY.
"SIMBA ! AMETHYST ! YOU ARE BACK " Ruby squealed in joy as she used her Semblance to approach them before crashing against the reddish-browned Lioness who purred at the hug she was having from the younger girl. "Hey guys ! Its good to see you again !" Yang waved at them with a happy smile as she stepped closer followed by Weiss and Blake, both of them harboring a smile on their faces (even the Ice Queen).
However, they weren't alone, with them was a black-headed tricolor Corgi with gray eyes a body tail and a red collar with a golden pendant on it. The Dog approached the two Lions with a bark and Amethyst couldn't help herself as she cooed at the dog "Awww who is this cute little guy ?~" in response, the dog barked cheerfully "Its Zwei ! Our dogs !" Yang responded as she patted the corgi's head "And he is living with us now ! Yes he is yes he is !~" Weiss cooed as she baby-talked at the dog who seemed to like the attention.
Simba and Amethyst looked at this scene with wide eyes of shock before looking at the rest of Team RWBY with disbelief which caused Ruby, Yang and Blake to snort in amusement "Yes its shocking but Weiss ADORED Zwei..." the Black-haired Cat Faunus replied as she glanced at the Dog warily. "So the Ice Queen DOES have a heart after all~" Simba replied teasingly and everyone laughed with humor except Weiss who shot the Golden Lion a glare only for him to gave her a cheeky grin in response.
"Anyway where are Emerald and Amber ?" the Golden Lion asked to change the subject as he glanced around. "Oh yes about that… Amber became a Teacher at Beacon and Emerald her assistant !" Ruby responded with enthusiasm and the two Lions smiled at each other , happy about those news but then curiosity took over their happiness as they remembered what Ozpin said a few moments ago.
"So what exactly happened here ? Professor Ozpin said that something took place when we were gone..." Amethyst asked Team RWBY with curiosity. "Well… as you know we were with Professor Oobleck for a mission… We discovered accidentally that the White Fang planned to destroy the barrier protecting Vale so Grimm could invade the city…" Blake responded calmly before Yang took over "It was surprisingly easy to get rid of the White Fang… There weren't a lot of them… But Roman was there…"
Simba and Amethyst both listened with interest as Team RWBY retailed their adventures at Mountain Glenn as they tried to prevent Roman to destroy Vale's barrier, how they fought the Grimm entering the breach… They retailed how Team JNPR and CFVY came to help fend the Grimm along with Emerald and the rest of Beacon's staff while trying to protect the citizens from the Dark Creatures.
Apparently, Emerald had won a fight against Roman's acolyte, a brown and pink haired girl named Neopolitain who had been arrested along with Roman for their crimes and their current actions. The White Fang members, or at least the few who were there, died when the train destroyed the barrier. Professor Ozpin had been scowled by the Council of Vale because of his lack of security and this role was given to the Headmaster of Atlas , General Ironwood himself.
When Team RWBY finished their tale, both Lions were in shock, their minds processing was they just discovered "We sure did miss a lot…" Simba grumbled out-loud with a chuckle in an attempt to lighten the mood a bit "You did ! And we would have preferred to have you both with us, honestly..." Yang replied with a shrug but with an evasive look on her face and eye. "Something on your mind ?" Amethyst asked the Blond Brawler with concern as she too noticed Yang's face.
"Well… before the train destroyed the barrier, I was fighting Neo, Roman's pet, and she was about to kill me when someone I thought I would never see again saved me..." The Blond responded in a soft tone and Amethyst nuzzled her gently "Who was it ?" Yang took her time to answer but when she did it was in a sad tone "My mother..." The reddish-browned Lioness then gently pulled the blond into a hug which Yang accepted without protest while around them, the rest of Team RWBY and Simba were looking at them with sadness.
"So… How was the meeting with Sienna Khan ?" Blake asked the Golden Lion, curiosity shining in her amber eyes. The question caught the attention of many even Yang who had stopped hugging Amethyst to look at Simba, all of them waiting for an answer. "Well… to be honest it went well… Until Adam Taurus decided to visit..." This answer caused the Cat Faunus to look at him with shock "WHAT ?! Adam was there ?!"
"He was… Sienna had scowled him for working with a Human, a criminal at that… He then tried to kill his own Leader..." Simba began to say and at the last part, gasps of shock echoed from Team RWBY "But thanks to a certain pretty Lioness, he wasn't able to even touch her..." The Golden Lion added with a grin toward Amethyst who rolled her eyes playfully at him. "What happened to Adam ? Was he arrested ?" Blake asked the two with a frown when she saw Amethyst's face falling a bit.
"I… I accidentally killed him..." the reddish-browned Lioness's response caused the four girls to look at her with wide eyes of shock and horror. "Adam… is dead ?" Blake asked them both with a small voice and they nodded in response "I tried to reason him but his mind was too clouded by his hatred and anger…" Simba added sorrowfully as he looked at Amethyst who looked sad. "Sienna had then called back all the White Fang members from Vale… The most loyal ones to Adam were executed, the others had swore their allegiances to Sienna..." Amethyst said after a moment of silence in a soft tone, her eyes weren't looking away from the ground.
"Later, she decided to 'ally' herself with your father Ghira Belladonna to prevent more people like Adam to cause chaos among the White Fang..." Simba said calmly as he looked at a certain black haired Cat Faunus whose eyes widened even more at the name 'Ghira'. The Golden Lion then added something that caused her to shed a few tears " Your parents had asked us to tell you that they loved you with all their hearts and held nothing against you..."
Blake's eyes watered at those words and instantly she was hugged by her team-mates who enveloped the crying Faunus in their embrace, under the eyes of both Lions. "I love them too… but… How could they forgive me after I said to them ?" Blake asked out-loud tearfully and it was Amethyst who answered her by saying in a gentle tone "Because you are their beloved daughter… Someone they love dearly~"
Blake looked at the reddish-browned Lioness with a grateful smile before nodding at her and the Amethyst nodded back, accepting the hidden 'thanks'. At the same time, Simba was looking at them with a smile until he felt something touching his right front-leg and he looked down to see it was none other than Zwei who barked at him. The Lion almost forgot that the dog was here ! "Hey there what do you want ?" he asked the Dog who barked as he went on his hint-legs, still harboring a cheerful expression on his cute little face.
"SIMBA ! AMETHYST !" someone called out with joy and the two Lions along with Team RWBY turned their heads to see Team JNPR, Coco, Velvet, Amber and Emerald approaching them. The Lions looked at each other before sighing : time for a greeting-moment again ! However, what they didn't know, problems were on the way as a new figure decided to enter the game.

Far away from Beacon, was a barren wasteland, with rocky terrains where we could see enormous dark-purple Crystal-like rocks sprouting from the ground. The sky there, instead of blue, was a dark red while large pools of a strange tar-like substance were seen every now and then. From those pools, Grimm of all kind came out of them. This area was called the Land of Darkness or the Evernight.
And there, in the middle of this wasteland, was a castle-like structure which surprisingly shared the same color scheme than the area around it (shades of violets, purples, reddish sky and black for shadows). The outside of the structure was not extensively shown, but for anyone, it seemed to be tall or situated on a tall mound. In addition, the castle seemed dimly lit and in fact, was only illuminated by weak candles or the dark sky. The building seemed to be built with rocks and purple crystals and was decorated by smaller crystals and candles.
Inside the castle, was a piece where the owner of the place currently was. This part of the building looked like a conference-room with a crystal table surrounded by six wooden chairs. At the end of the table was a crystal throne. All around the room, a number of crystal formations was surrounding the piece with white candles on their tops while behind the throne was a crystal table with several white candles on it. Above the say-table was a chandelier made out of branches and crystals. The floor was made of square reflective tiles.
But it wasn't the room that was interesting us : it was the angry strange woman pacing in it. The woman in question had a deadly pal skin with jet black sclerae and glowing crimson irises which were shining right now. The person also had bleached, pale white hair she styled into a large bun with six offshoots wrapping together which suspended several obsidian-colored ornaments. In addition she had dark purple veins lining her face and arms, and had a black diamond-shaped marking in the center of her forehead.
The pale woman wore a very long, short-sleeved black robe which obscured her feet with its distinctive feature being a curved high collar with dark red trim bordering the outer edge of a narrow window exposing her bust in a vertical ellipsis (which looked like an eye )and completed with a long shawl emblazoned with three interconnected, maroon-colored vertical elliptic sigils above a series of maroon-colored diamond emblems. In addition, she also had a ring resembling a Beetle on her right hand, which had longer fingernails with jet-black nail polish.
The woman was none other than the Queen of Grimm herself : Salem.
And right now she was FURIOUS ! All her allies were arrested and the only one left was just a killer with no brain ! It was Tyrian who had told her what happened to Arthur, Rainart and the others and was even more furious to learn WHO was responsible of it : the strange Golden Lion with a russet mane called Simba and the former Huntress-in training, Amethyst Aster. Those two had ruined her plans and the Queen of Grimm was LIVID !
Of course, she was secretly curious about Simba as she didn't know where did he came from and how did he got here. Being an immortal for a long time now, she had seen a lot of things but never before she saw a Creature like him : he was strong, brave and had killed a lot of her Grimm. Worse, he was apparently the one who killed Cinder, the one she planned to use a Fall Maiden ! As if it wasn't enough she had just discovery that Amethyst, the former Human who turned-Lioness had killed Adam and prevented the White Fang to join her. That's the reason she was right now pawing in the conference room, angrily throwing the chairs away from her.
"Everything I planned ! Ruined ! My perfect plans ! Destroyed ! Dawns those Lions for helping dear Ozpin ! Dawn this Simba for killing my Fall Maiden ! Dawn those CATS !" Salem roared loudly to herself as she slapped the table with both hands. Suddenly, someone entered the room in a hurry. It was the last member of her inner-circle, Tyrian Callows the Scorpion-Faunus.
Tyrian was a pale man with golden eyes and a brown ponytail which strangely looked like a scorpion's tail who was wearing a white sleeveless jacket with leather belts strapped to it, along with white pants. His jacket was left open, which exposed his bare chest that was crisscrossed with prominent scars. His arms were covered with cream colored bandages and leather vambraces. In addition, Tyrian wore leather boots covering his entire shin with knee guards and ,on each earlobe, was a silver, ring-shaped earring while near the top of his left ear was another matching earring.
"What do you want Callows ?!" Salem asked him sharply and he slightly recoiled in fear at her anger but gathered all his courage to respond "Your Grace, someone want to see you..." Those words caught the Queen of Grimm's attention as she fixed her red eyes on the serial killer who seemed nervous for some reason. "Who ?" she asked him sternly but calmly. "He refused to present himself ! He said to me and I quote 'I want to talk with your Queen not her subordinate !'" Tyrian replied in shakily.
Salem seemed intrigued by this person who managed to intimidate a well-known serial killer and a maniacal at that and said in a neutral tone "Bring him here !" "Of course your Grace !" Callows nodded quickly before dashing away to do what he was ordered. Salem stood there, waiting for her 'guest' to come even if deep down she was a bit shocked that someone (except her inner-circle) was able to find her.
A few moments later, Tyrian re-appeared in front of her before saying "Here he is your Grace…" the Scorpion Faunus inquired with a small bow before stepping aside to reveal the newcomer. To her shock it was a male Lion but it wasn't the famous Simba as this one looked much more different. This Lion was elegant and poised, but also unkempt and wild-looking. He was scraggly in appearance but Salem could see some muscles that showed that he was far from weak.
He also had a sleek black mane, an orange-brown fur, and distinctive green eyes while his muzzle and belly were cream in color. In addition, the newcomer had large, tan paws with long, curving black claws. At the back on his forelegs were black tufts right on the elbows. However the most noticeable thing about this Lion was the scar he had on his left eye.
Salem, despise her shock at seeing a Lion before her, was looking at the newcomer with a neutral expression on her face before asking "Who are you and what do you want with me ?" The dark maned Lion chuckled in an evil manner before responding calmly with her green eyes shining with malice "My name's Scar and I heard you have some troubles ?" "Scar huh ? The name's fitting but why do you want to help me ?" the Queen of Grimm asked him back with interest.
"From what your pet told me, you want to take over this world but you have some difficulties because of my nephew..." Scar responded with an evil grin "So you're this Simba's Uncle ? Why would you want to help me against him ?" Salem asked him with a frown, no understanding his point of view while behind her , Tyrian looked angry at being called a 'pet'. "My reasons are my own sorry… I propose an alliance between the two of us…" Scar inquired in a neutral tone and Salem raised a brow before asking "What do you want in exchange of your help ?"
The Black Maned Lion smirked evilly as he said in response "All I want is to end my nephew once and for all ! I will work WITH you and not FOR you !
