The one thing Arthur is sure of is that, no matter where he is, Merlin is alright; after all, he's more than capable of looking after himself. The king's conviction is misplaced, though; Merlin is in fact far from alright...

This story was first published in 2014 as a sort of experiment on how long it would take to get reviews if I specifically asked people NOT to review. It was fun and the readers seemed interested in how long it would last so they followed. It lasted 2 weeks. Today, in 2020, the experiment has been over for 6 years but I am coming back to finish the actual story.

Enraged by her reversal of fortune at Blackheath and the loss of Tintagel, Morgana plots a terrible revenge against Merlin. But still weak and recovering from his ordeal, her plans may destroy Merlin altogether.

This story takes place in the middle of evil times. Arthur is in his room with that one white shirt because he looks good in it and he's eating grapes and sausages because he likes to play with his sausage with Merlin sometimes. Merlin is wearing the purple shirt because yes and he goes inside Arthur's room because he's nosy and in everyone's business.
