Notes: Double drabble. Jack/Daniel slash. Very random- thought it up while trying to sleep lol.
Daniel had never really gotten used to text messaging. He would rather ring someone than waste time writing words out on a minute keypad. He'd only use 'texting' to one person. Jack. It was more discreet. Messages couldn't be tapped or intercepted.
Daniel's cell vibrated in his pocket. New message.
'Just got off the plane. Meet you at your place in an hour. Love J xx.'
Daniel smiled, deleted the message, and placed the phone on the coffee table. Jack was coming home. His Jack was coming home.
After spending nearly a month in Washington sorting out Kinsey's latest cock up, Jack was finally going home to his own territory, so to speak. The plane taxied along the runaway and took off smoothly.
The drive to Daniel's seemed endless. Jack tapped the steering wheel in anticipation as he pulled up at the last set of lights before Daniel's apartment block. He smiled as the building came into view.
The soft tap on the door sent a shiver down Daniel's spine. He stood, nervous although he didn't know why, straightened his shirt and opened the door.
'Daniel!' Jack grinned.
Daniel leapt forward and wrapped his arms around Jack.
'Missed you too.'
