Simba watched with a soft smile as he looked at everyone present at the party as he sat beside his mate Amethyst whose head was pressed against his mane with a content smile on her face. The sun was starting to decline in the sky as the final guests were arriving in Patch and the two Lions smiled warmly when they saw Weiss hugging his mother and sister while Summer was talking with Kali Belladonna. Taiyang, for his part was having an interesting conversation with Ghira Belladonna. What about Qrow ? Well he was drinking (no surprise there).
It took only the entire day for Taiyang, Qrow and Summer to made the preparatives (balloons, garlands, food, drinks, games etc…) while Team RWBY sent the invitations. A few hours before dusk, the first guests came in the forms of Ghira, Kali, Sienna, Bianca , a Chameleon Faunus named Ilia Amitola (a friend of Blake apparently), Team JNPR, Velvet and Coco, Amber and Emerald and finally Sun and Neptune.
The students of Beacon were overjoyed to see Simba awake again even if Nora had loudly complained about the fact she missed his fights against both Wyvern and Scar. She also regretted to not broken the legs of the latter.
Simba had then asked about where was Glynda and had been a bit sad to hear that the actual staff of Beacon were too busy rebuilding Vale to come but had understood. Then he got to meet Willow Schnne, Jacques's wife and Weiss's mother. He had to say she was a beautiful woman and was a bit heart-broken to hear that she never chose to marry the man ( it was her father's fault). However, when her husband returned home after trying to forcibly bring Weiss back home… she decided that enough was enough and had divorced with Jacques much to the latter fury as he was no longer the CEO of the Company.
Simba had been glad to hear that the man had been arrested because of the many thing he did when he was the Head of the Schnee Dust company. Willow, thanks to her younger daughter, instantly went to change the Company to the better and no longer will the Faunus be treated as slaves. Winter had become Atlas's new general after Ironwood was found dead in his home 5 days ago. Apparently he had been poisoned and the authorities were still looking for the murderer.
The Golden Lion glanced down at his mate who returned the stare before nodding her head. Knowing what she wanted him to do, Simba nodded at her before looking back at the crowd of people surrounding, clearing his throat loudly to catch their attention, which he did. As they all looked at him expectantly except Team RWBY, Taiyang, Summer and Qrow because they knew what they were about to say.
"Ladies and gentlemen ! Before explaining the reason of this unexpected party I have some things to say ! First of all thanks to Team RWBY, Taiyang and Summer for preparing everything !" Simba began to say as he looked toward the people in question and when he finished talking, everyone clapped their heads.. except Qrow who looked indignant as he shouted "Hey what about me ?! I helped too !" Taiyang, who was beside him, smirked playfully as he replied back loudly "Sure you did ! I have to send Yang shopping because you drank HALF of my bottles, you drunkard !"
Laughs echoed from the crowd while Qrow rubbed the back on his head with a sheepish look on his face before glaring at a grinning Taiyang. Simba chuckled before clearing his throat again "The dusty old crow aside, I also want to say me and Amethyst are happy to see you all here !" A new wave of cheers followed those words. The Two Lions glanced at each other with contained excitement on their faces before looking back at the crowd "Alright alright ! Now I should go straight to the point ! What I'm about to tell you some people already know it so don't be taken aback by the lack of surprise on their faces !" Simba added with a smile at the crowd who were getting more and more curious about what he was about to say. "Amethyst if you could..." The Golden Lion inquired his mate politely who nodded at him before facing the assistance " Everyone ! Me and Simba are going to be parents !" Loud cheers echoed the second those words left her mouth and instantly, the two Lions were approached by their guests who congratulated them with joy in their eyes or faces.
"Congratulations you two ! You will be wonderful parents for your little ones !" Kali inquired the two warmly as she hugged the two of them one by one and Ghira gave a nod of agreement at his wife's words. Amethyst smiled at the two before turning her head toward Emerald when the green haired girl approached her along with Amber as the two of them harbored joyous smiles on their faces "Congratulations !" Emerald inquired to her childhood friend as she hugged the reddish-browned Lioness's muzzle, earning a purr from Amethyst.
Suddenly a cry of shock and everyone looked toward Sun who was the one who made the cry "What's that ?" the Monkey-Faunus said with alarm as he looked at his feet. Blinking, everyone looked down to see that they were all surrounded by what looked a carpet of light ! "WHAT THE ARRRRRRRGGGGHHHHH !" Simba began to ask before crying in pain when suddenly a bright light caused them all to close their eyes hurriedly to avoid being blinded by it. For a moment, they hid their eyes behind their hands/paws until a gasp caused them all to blink in surprise.
Now that the light was gone, the group found themselves on a strange area filled with rocks. No life could be seen around as there were no plants. "Where are we ?" Blake asked out-loud in disbelief as she looked around with wide eyes of shock. No one had an answer for that when suddenly a deep voice echoed near them "You are still on Remnant I can assume you...In fact you are in the only continent which is still inhabited… " They all turned their heads to see… Mufasa ! "Father !" Simba greeted the former King of the Pridelands warmly while Amethyst smiled at her 'step-father' nodding her her.
Team RWBY, Team JNPR, Sun, Neptune, Coco and Velvet who knew the Massive Amber-golden furred Lion already bowed before him while saying respectfully "Your Majesty..." Willow, Winter, Ghira, Qrow, Kali, Sienna, Bianca, Ilia, Amber; Taiyang and Summer quickly followed the others' movements when they remembered that Simba was a Prince so it was logical to assume that this Lion, who was Simba's father, was a King. "Rise people of Remnant… You don't need to bow in front of me..." the Spirit inquired the bowing people in a kind tone and they all went back on their feet while looking at Mufasa with respectful expression on their faces.
"Father… Why did you bring us here ?" Simba asked the Spirit with confusion, wondering why his father would summon them in such a desolate place. Mufasa's eyes landed on his son before explaining gently "I didn't summon you here my son… THEY did ..." "They ?" Amethyst asked softy with a confused raise-brow and Mufasa turned his head to look at something to his right. Following the Spirit's gaze, they all gasped when two figure appeared in thin air.
The first one was a tall, yellow and muscular with deer antlers on its head while the second , unlike the precedent, was lean, purple and slender and had ram horns on its heads. Amethyst along with the others all gasped in shock as they suddenly all bowed which caused Simba to look at them with confusion "Guys ? Why are you bowing ?" the Golden Lion asked them and Amethyst answered him in a shushed tone "They are the Two Brothers ! The two Gods of Remnant !" Simba's eyes widened as he looked back toward the two humanoid figures before respectively at them.
"Rise…" The God of Light inquired everyone in a calm tone until his brother, the God of Darkness added in an equal tone " While it is good to be respected by you mortals… We aren't here for that..." As the group went back on their feet, the Two Gods turned their heads to look at Simba "We are here to thank you… Thanks to you, Salem is no more and is now reunited with her daughters in Death..." The God of Light began to say to the Golden Lion before his brother took over "And thanks to you and your beloved… Faunus and Humans aren't fighting each other as much as before you arrival..."
Simba bowed his head, accepting the praise and beside him Amethyst turned her head away shyly despise being internally honored to be in the Gods' presence. "As gift for your honorable actions, you can ask us anything !" the two Gods inquired at the same time and behind the Lions, everyone gasped in surprise and shock that their friends were receiving such a honor. None of them were jealous as they truly deserved it.
Simba looked at the two Deities for a moment before glancing back toward his friends and those he considered family who were all looking back at him with silence. Turning his head back to the Brothers, the Golden Lion took a deep breath before inquiring "I do have many things in mind… not for me but for my friends…" The Gods didn't seemed surprised by his words as they nodded in acknowledgement "First of all, I humbly ask you to make Menagerie more viable for Faunus… From what I heard, they didn't have a lot of area to live..."
Ghira and Kali, along with Sienna, Bianca, Blake, Velvet and Ilia were shocked to hear this but they smiled in appreciation. The Gods looked at each other before looking back at Simba "It will be done… Anything else ?" "Yes… This time its for the people of Vale… It is possible for you to help in the reparations ?" the Golden Lion asked them with a neutral expression and sighed when they saw them nodded at him.
Suddenly, the Spirit of Mufasa approached the Two Gods before whispering something at them, ignoring the look he was getting from the other people present. For a moment, we could hear nothing but silence until Mufasa stepped away from the Brothers who nodded at him before turning back toward the group, looking specifically at Simba "Here is another gift for you..." The God of Light said when suddenly he snapped his finger and suddenly a bright light appeared in the palm of his hand.
Then the Deity tossed the ball of light on the ground… and everyone gasped in shock when plants started to appear from it. Soon the entire area and far away saw plants growing from grasses to tall trees. The all country which was dull and void of life was now entirely covered in plants and some forests could even be seen at some points. In addition, rivers and lacs equally emerged from the ground adding more possibility to live for whoever wanted to come here.
"Its not over yet..." the God of Light added after seeing the look of amazement from everyone's face (except his brother of course) as he pointed a finger toward mass of rocks… which started to shift ! Simba, Amethyst and their friends looked at the scene with wide eyes of amazement as the rocks soon turned into a Mountain-like structure which strongly reminded the Golden Lion of Pride Rock except for a few difference. Unlike Priderock, the tip of this massive rock formation looked like a Lion's head turned to the side ! However, like Priderock, it had a peak which could be used to look at the entire area as a promontory.
The God of light then snapped his fingers again and far away from there, portal made of light appeared out in thin air. From those portals came a lot of animals : Elephants, Zebras, Deers, Wildebeests, Giraffes, Hares, Gazelles, Cheetahs, Leopards, Jackals, Servals, and many species of Birds and Reptiles. All of them were looking at their surroundings with wide eyes until they spotted a Massive Rock-like structure in the distance and went toward it.
Back to our friends, the God of Light sighed as he finished his work before turning back toward a stunned group "My work is over…" the Deity said to them in a calm tone. "Welcome in your new Kingdome Prince Simba… But before we go, do you have more things to ask us ?" the God of Darkness inquired the Golden Lion who shook his head "Well then… We will return to our travels… Remnant doesn't need us anymore… We will only step in if the people of this World couldn't be redeemed !" the God of Light added in a calm tone before he and his brother disappeared but not before saying at the same time "Goodbye !"
The group was too stunned to move or blink, still in shock at what just happened a moment ago but then Simba's mind wandered to one thing the God of Darkness said 'Welcome in your new Kingdome Prince Simba...' However he didn't have time to think more as his father's voice broke his thought and 'woke' everyone from their trance "My son… It is time for you to take your place in the Circle of Life..." The Golden Lion knew what his father was saying but looked hesitant as internally he was panicking : was he really ready to take such a responsibility ? Will he be a good king like his father was ? Or will he be blinded by power like Scar with his jealousy ?
He blinked when he felt something touching his mane and turned his head to see it was his mate Amethyst who looked up at him with a comforting smile on her face "Come on Simba… You can do it~" the Golden Lion, still unsure, glanced at his friends who nodded in agreement at Amethyst's words, looking at him with soft smiles. Simba looked back at his father who gestured gor his son to follow him as he walked toward the Massive rocky-structure. Sighing, the Golden Lion followed his father soon joined by Amethyst and the rest of their friends. As they walked, some of them were chatting with each other, still in awe that they got to see the Gods themselves !
Chuckling at their amazement, Simba then looked down at his mate who pressed her head against his mane, purring. "It will be a good place to raise our baby..." the reddish-browned Lioness inquired in a soft tone and her mate purred in response before nuzzling her head back, earning a purr from Amethyst. Mufasa, as he led them, secretly sent them gentle smile as he loved seeing his son happy after being alone for 8 years of his life but soon grinned at the surprise he planned later, knowing that his son would be in for the surprise of his life.
When they arrived at the Lion-like Mountain, everyone were shocked by how tall it was and Willow herself couldn't retain herself for commenting "Its so magnificent..." Her daughters, Weiss and Winter, nodded in agreement as they stared at the mountain with wide eyes. Then they all looked toward Mufasa who was sitting at the base of the promontory, looking at his son with an encouraging smile.
However, Simba was everything but calm right now as he seemed nervous. The moment he would climb the promontory, he will no longer be a Prince but a King. But King of what ? There were no other animals around here ! Right ? His thoughts were interrupted a gasp from Ruby as she pointed at West (no not Weiss) where a horde of Animals headed toward them ! "By oum ! Are you seeing what I'm seeing ?" Jaune asked out-loud in disbelief and Ren who was beside him answered in equal shock "If you mean a large amount of Animals walking toward her then yes...we are seeing the same thing !"
The group watched with stunned eyes as the hordes of Animals, Predators and Preys alike gathered around the Massive rocky-structure. Simba noticed if shock that all of them were a bit bigger than the ones he saw in the Pridelands ! Suddenly, a Leopard, a big and muscular male, stepped away from the gathered animals to approach the Golden Lion who looked at him with surprise when the spotted Feline bowed at him while saying with respect " My liege..." The second he said this, the others Animals all bowed at Simba much to everyone's shock.
Then a bright light from his left caught the Golden Lion attention and he gasped when he saw four Lionesses (two transparent and two 'alive') appeared from the portal. "Mom ? Nala ? Is that you ?" Simba asked tearfully when he looked at the transparent Lionesses. It was indeed his mother and his cub-hood friends who instantly pulled him into a tight but tearful embrace which he returned whole-heartedly.
Amethyst looked at the two with curiosity. The first Lioness was robust in appearance and had tan fur with amber-reddened eyes. Despise her robust appearance, the Lioness had soft, round features along a brownish-pink nose that matched the insides of her ears, which possessed a dark rim around them. Her muzzle, underside, and paws all had a lighter shade of tan than the rest of her body while the tuft at the end of her tail was dark brown in color. The second Lioness, who was younger than the precedent, was slender in appearance and had a cream-colored fur along with turquoise eyes and brown nose. Her muzzle and underbelly were lighter in color.
"Mom… I missed you so much..." Simba inquired to his mother with tearful eyes as he pressed his head under her chin "My son… my baby… I missed you too… Everyone did… But I'm so proud of the Lion you are now… Mufasa told me everything..." the tan Lioness, who Amethyst and those who heard Simba's story knew as Sarabi, replied back in a motherly tone as she licked her son's face, happy to see him after so long. The Simba looked at he second transparent Lioness with joy on his face "Nala..." "Simba ! I'm so happy to see you again !" the cream Lioness inquired happily as the two of them embraced each other.
Amethyst preferred to stay behind to let them have their moment while behind her, her friends and allies were watching the reunion with tearful eyes as it was really touching. But then the reddish-browned Lioness tensed when both Lionesses (the transparent ones) approached her "You must be Amethyst, my son's mate… Its a pleasure to meet you young lady~" Sarabi inquired Amethyst who relaxed her tense muscle at the warmth emanating from the former Queen.
"The pleasure is mine Queen Sarabi..." Amethyst began to say until the tan Lioness interrupted her "No need for formalities my dear… Call me Sarabi… You are family now~" The reddish-browned Lioness nodded at her mate's mother before looking toward Nala whose eyes shined with mischief "Its a pleasure to meet you Amethyst ! As you probably know I'm Nala, your mate's childhood friend~" the cream Lioness inquired to her interlocutor who grinned at her deviously "I know… Simba told me a lot about you and your… adventures~"
Nala laughed with humor before saying "You're definitely a keeper ! And for my defense, he was the one who putted us in trouble not me !" Hearing this caused Simba to glare at the two of them but instead of intimidating them, the glare caused them to laugh loudly instead. Suddenly a loud cough caught everyone's attention (Humans, Faunus and Animals alike) and they all turned their heads toward Mufasa who said deeply those next words "It is time..." Simba shot a nervous toward his friends who gestured for him to go. The Golden Lion then glanced at Amethyst who said nothing as she only gave him a comforting smile. Sighing, Simba approached his father who looked down at him proudly as he whispered with a smile "Remember who you are… my son… I'm so proud of you~"
Then father and son pressed their heads against each other, purring . For a few seconds they staid like this until Simba pulled himself away from his father to walk toward the promontory. Everyone looked at him amazement as the Golden Lion proudly ascended the promontory, his head raised high with a serious look on his face. Amethyst looked at her mate with tearful eyes as she stood beside the Spirits of Sarabi and Nala along with the two 'living' Lionesses.
"He look so magnificent right now..." Weiss commented softy as she stared at the Golden Lion who had just reached the edge of the promontory and was now looking at everyone present. "Yes he looks like a true King..." Pyrrha whispered back in response as she was hand upon hands with Jaune who nodded at his girlfriend in agreement. Simba's eyes scanned the crowd with an unsure look on his face but then he saw Amethyst looking at him with love and adoration.
Just seeing this caused his nervousness to wash away like dust under the bath. Simba's nervous expression turned into a confident one as he mustered himself… before letting a thunderous roar which echoed throughout the area. The Lionesses (transparent or not) along with Mufasa roared loudly in response, showing that they accepted him as the legitimate King. Below the promontory, the other animals were also cheering the Golden Lion : a large majority of the Herbivores reared onto their hind legs, stamping the ground ; Elephants trumpeted loudly; the Leopards and Cheetahs roared loudly,etc…
When Simba re-opened his mouth again to let out another big roar, every Creatures present bowed respectfully for the New Monarch. The group of Humans and Faunus looked at the scene with tearful eyes as they couldn't believe that their friend Simba was now a King . Suddenly, Ghira took a step forward before raising a fist in the air yelling loudly "LONG LIVE THE KING !" to which the other quickly echoed "LONG LIVE THE KING !". From his spot, Simba looked down at his friends with a warm smile on his face before his eyes landed on Amethyst who returned the stare with a warm smile.
Then to her shock, the Golden Lion gestured for her to come and she did with some hesitation. She climbed up the promontory to stand beside her mate who looked down at her with a warm smile, the same one she loved so much, and she had no choice but to return it. Then the two of them faced the crowd again before roaring together, showing to everyone that they were together. The gathered Animals cheered for their Queen and Ruby couldn't retain herself as she screamed loudly "LONG LIVE THE QUEEN !" Amethyst smiled when she heard the others repeating Ruby's words and then turned her head toward Simba before the two of them nuzzled each other with affection.
Then the new King and Queen climbed down the promontory to approach their friends who bowed before them respectfully "My friends… You don't have to bow~" Simba inquired them in a gentle tone and they stood back to look at him with joyful expressions on their faces "I can't believe it ! You are a King now Big Guy !" Yang inquired with lilac eyes filled with stars and the Golden Lion chuckled at her before saying "I might be a King now… But you will always be my friends… All of you~" he added the last part to the others who shot him warm smiles in response.
Blake then approached Amethyst before gently hugging the reddish-browned Lioness's muzzle earning a purr from the gesture and soon the rest of Team RWBY, along with Coco, Velvet, Nora and Pyrrha approached the two Lions before hugging them one by one. Kali , a few moments, then approached the two Lions before giving them a warm smile "I'm so proud of you both~" The two Felines purred in response before nuzzling Blake's mother at the same time.
Simba then turned his head to look at his parents and cubhood friend… only to see that they weren't there anymore. He sighed deeply in sadness as he would have love to talk with them a bit more when his father's voice echoed in his head "We will always be there for you… my son..." The Golden Lion smiled as he looked at the sky before facing the two Lionesses who came at the same time that the spirits of Nala and Sarabi.
The first one was dark cream in color with a lighter shade for her muzzle, underbelly and paws. She had a round brown nose and orange eyes while the tuft on her tail-tip was light brown in color. In appearance, she was muscular and broad-shoulder but not as robust looking as his mother Sarabi. The second Lioness,who looked older than the other one, was slender and had a chestnut-fur while her muzzle, underbelly and paws were all cream in color. Her tail-tip, or at least the tuft, was almost black while her eyes were green in color but in a lighter shade than Scar's.
"Who are you ?" Simba asked them with a frown and the chestnut furred one stepped closer "My name's Amaka and this is my younger sister Ananda… We humbly ask to join you...your Majesty..." The Golden Lion looked at the two for a moment before smiling "If you were sent here then it mean you are truthful … You are welcome to stay !" the two sisters looked at each other with joy until Ananda whispered softy "Your Majesty… Would you mind cubs that aren't yours ?" Simba blinked in surprise but then responded gently "I won't as my own mate, your Queen is pregnant… Our little one would surely enjoy having play-mates..."
The Chestnut-furred Lioness sighed in relief before she and her sister bowed at their King to approach the Queen, who was currently in a conversation with their friends. Simba watched them with a smile on his face before staring at the sky : his life was definitely heading to the better and he thanked every existing deities for what they gave him so far… and what he was about to receive later.

Note : Sarabi and Nala are there for Simba's coronation ! You might wonder how did they died ? Well I will only tell you this : try to guest. Also when Mufasa said they were on the only inhabited continent of Remnant, he was speaking about the Dragon shaped one( Look at a cart of Remnant and you will understand).
