Chapter 7: Hungry Wolves

Tokyo – Akihabara – 14th April 2021 – 19.30

That night, while most of the Masters were ready to descend in the battlefield, those who were not able to find something useful decided to take a break for dinner. And for one of them…it was a dinner very substantial.

Kazuto, Astrea, Archer and Caster of Red decided to eat a good hamburger in a fast-food restaurant situated in the street of Akihabara. This time, the two female Servants were able to show around after Astrea had the idea of buying them regular clothes (Even though no one knew where she got all those money), and in order to hide Archer of Red's horns, Caster of Red gave her a hat.

While the rest of the small group decided to go with something simple, Astrea went to something more extreme…as she accepted a challenge of eating hamburgers. But…once she saw what she ordered…she soon regretted her words and actions once again.

The waiter gave her a plate with 24 hamburgers. And in order to win the challenge…she had to eat all of them. The Master of the Red Rose looked in horror at the heavy yet inviting plate of those hamburgers. In that moment, she felt a terror maybe greater than the one she felt when she fought against Tygo. "E-Eh…do i really have to eat them all?" She asked.

"Yes, if you want to complete the challenge, ma'am!" The waiter answered. Astrea couldn't believe her eyes. Never in my life she had seen so many hamburgers in just one plate. Maybe, if she was a kid, that would have been a celestial vision, but now…she was a nightmare, as she saw all the details. The gigantic beef meat, the melted cheese and the grilled bacon. In short, someone would have considered it health's archnemesis.

"Uhm…Astrea, are you ok?" Kazuto asked. "YOU EVEN ASK!? HOW CAN I BE OK!? I…I can't stand the idea of the sudden increase of my weight…the terrible feeling of nausea…and most importantly…the increase of my…CHOLESTEROL LEVEL! I-I can't do it! It's just impossible!" Astrea replied, showing her usual paranoic personality.

"But Astrea! You didn't even start! You can't say you can't do it, right? At least eat one…" Archer of Red suggested. "N-No! Plus, I don't even wanna think about all those times that I'll have to go to the bathroom!" The Alainosta mage kept firm on her choice…until…

Caster of Red slammed her hand to the floor and looked at her with a smirk. "Astrea! Astrea! Astrea! Astrea! Astrea!" She started to cheer for her Master. "Oh no! Nonono! Caster don't cheer me, or I won't know the consequences!" Astrea tried to stop her, but it was already too late. All the people inside the restaurant, even Kazuto and Archer of Red started to cheer for her. In that dining hall, only one word could be heard at that point.

"ASTREA! ASTREA! ASTREA! ASTREA! ASTREA! ASTREA! ASTREA! ASTREA! ASTREA! ASTREA! ASTREA! ASTREA!"

"N-No, seriously…stop! I…I…" Astrea didn't know what to do…but in the end…all that agitation and excitement…made her take the big step. "GRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" After slamming her hands on the table a couple of times, she started to eat those hamburgers that scared her. In an instant, she looked like she didn't eat for at least three days.

Everyone started to rejoice for the start of the challenge. "AHAH! That's my Master! Glad to see that you have the guts!" Caster of Red commented all happy.

Even Kazuto smiled, but then, in that moment, he started to want some fresh air, so he decided to go outside the restaurant. After seeing him, Archer of Red followed his Master outside. The Tohsaka mage was looking at the starry sky. But he didn't seem upset by something. He had…a neutral expression that showed calm.

"Is there anything wrong, Master?" Archer of Red asked. "Oh! It's you, Archer. Eheh, no. There's nothing wrong. On the contrary…this night turned out to be really relaxing. Even though…it was a little bit disappointing. I was hoping to find something or even someone. But nothing…" Kazuto replied.

"Well, I don't see anything wrong with this. If you think about it…we've been the last ones that joined the war, but we've done a lot actually! We've both faced the enemy's Assassin and Lancer. So, I think that for once it's nice to misfire." Archer of Red replied.

"Eheh…I don't know if I should feel proud of that…with that Maximilian guy, I've got stabbed several times for my fear before summoning you and…I would have never expected to face the enemy leader so soon. Guess that I'm beloved by bad luck, right?" Kazuto ironically commented. "In the first case, I would say that you were stupid." Archer of Red added. Soon, they both made a small laugh. "Seriously…I would have never expected to see this funny side of yours, Archer!" Kazuto said.

"Back when I was alive, I didn't get the chance to joke with others, since I've had my duties. But…I'm happy to have someone to share a laugh with this time. Even I expected to have a more serious Master." The samurai Servant said. "I…am serious when it comes to…" Kazuto commented.

"Oh, did you feel bad? Sorry. I didn't mean to. Well…to be honest, even if we didn't find enemies or signs of magecraft, it was still an interesting day! Walking around with you, Astrea and her Servant was funnier than I had expected! Don't you think so, Master?" Archer of Red then asked.

"…Fun, huh?" Kazuto simply spoke. At first…it didn't seem that he didn't know what that word meant. But then…he smiled. "…Yes. It was fun overall. Still…I at least hope that the others were able to find something! I mean…our main priority is to win, after all, right?"

"Eheh. Yes, indeed. That is the reason we've came here in the first place. Now that I think of it…what…were those amazing machines I've used back in that building?" The female Servant then asked. "You mean…those videogames?" Kazuto tried to guess.

"Oh! So those were the videogames I've heard about! They were fantastic! I didn't know they could be so intriguing! Do you think that we can play them again when we have free time?" Archer of Red asked, showing an unexpected interest for videogames. "You…liked them that much? Wow, a samurai woman that is also a gamer girl is something unexpected, really." Kazuto commented with a smile.

"Hey! What's wrong with that!?" The Servant countered. "I'm not saying it's something wrong. Just unexpected. Sorry if you felt offended. Well…I have actually a console back at my house…so you can use it if you want." Her Master said. This was enough to make Archer of Red the happiest girl in the world. "YES! THANK YOU!" She said while shaking the hand of a confused Kazuto. "Man, i didn't think she would have liked them that much…" He thought.

In that moment, even Astrea and Caster of Red came out of the restaurant, with the mage girl that tried to stand up. "I'm…full…I can't walk…" She spoke.

"Did you do it, Astrea?" Archer of Red asked. "Yes…somehow…but it was actually worth it! Here's what I've got!" The Alainosta mage replied, showing two tickets in her hand. "Two tickets for Disneyland Japan! I may get higher risks of remaining stuck in the bathroom, but at least I'll go to an amusement park! Even though…amusement parks usually scare me…"

"See? The guts you showed were rewarded!" Caster of Red commented. "You don't know what I had to go through for these!" Her Master protested. "I…I just need to go back and lay down…"

"Yeah, we were thinking the same. At this point, there's nothing here." Kazuto replied. "Hoping that Marcus won't yell at us…" Astrea added. "Come on, don't get frightened! Maybe the others found something!" Caster of Red told her. With that, the small group started to head back at the headquarters after ending their mission.

But…before following the others, Kazuto stopped…and felt something. "…Uh?" He spoke. "Master?" Archer of Red asked.

"I…feel signs of magecraft…they are distant from here, but they are strong…could it be that…?" The Tohsaka mage thought. "Are you…feeling alright?" His Servant asked. "Oh! Yes, I'm fine! It's just that…I felt something distant from here." He replied. But…for him, giving that answer was not enough. He didn't know why but…he felt like there was something wrong with what he just felt. "…Do you want to check out?" Archer of Red asked.

"Hmmm…Yes. I would like to. There are various signs of magecraft around the town. But…what I'm concerned of…is that one of them is big enough to be sensed even from here. Maybe the others have found someone really dangerous." Kazuto replied before turning on the other mage. "Astrea, you can go back. Me and Archer are going to make one last check."

"Are you sure?" Astrea asked, getting a nod back from Kazuto. "O-Ok…I would like to join you but…AAAH! I'm feeling really sick…dammit…at least I'll go to Disneyland…" She spoke. "Don't worry. You two go. And be careful." Caster of Red told them.

"Got it. Follow me, Archer!" Kazuto concluded before starting to run followed by her Servant. "I hope that maybe I'm wrong…but that perception scares me…" He thought. And he was right. Many Masters were about to start their battles…and one of them…might have been too dangerous...

Tokyo – Ueno Park – 14th April 2021 – 20.00 P.M

The Ueno Park was one of the most famous places in the city of Tokyo where many tourists came by especially in spring. This was because, in this season, the cherry blossoms, typical trees of Japan, bloomed, making the park a beautiful and romantic place to visit. This Park was also the home of many important museums like the Tokyo National Museum and the National Museum of Western Art. It was the perfect place to relax, meet with friends or have a moment with the soulmate.

When Cahya arrived, he could see that the petals of cherry trees were falling, and he got charmed by a sight like this. "Wow…these…petals…" He spoke. "Oh yes…they're cherry petals, typical of this country. You seem to like them! After all…they are beautiful…they're like snow that falls to the ground, even if we're in spring! Eheheh!" Assassin of Red said.

"I don't know why…but I feel something…different for once…it's something completely new for me…" The homunculus commented. He wondered what that could have been…but the answer…would have arrived in that moment.

"You're…feeling surprised, right?" A familiar voice asked. Both Cahya and her Servant knew well who this voiced belonged to, and quickly turned around, only to have the confirm of their thoughts.

Seram was walking towards them, still with that dull and emotionless expression on her face. The more Cahya saw here, the more creeped out he felt. Surely, it was a coincidence that the homunculus's first opponent was someone that, like him, had problems in feeling emotions, but…that same coincidence is what made him think the most. Indeed, she couldn't feel emotions…but she was human. So…what was the deal with her? Why did she look so…off? Why did she seem like the complete antithesis of Cahya? The homunculus Master wanted to know the answers but, judging by the look she gave him…she probably wouldn't have answered.

"…You…came. That's good. This makes my work…a lot easier…" Seram spoke before looking around. "I'm sure that you too, like this park, don't you? To think that this war would have started on spring…is pretty neat."

"If you like it…then why did you choose this place to fight?" Cahya asked. "Because it makes me relax…this place is so relaxing…it makes me forget of all the things that make me disgusted…much like…the sole idea of being with other people…something that people like you forced me to do." The Master of the White Rose answered, pointing at him.

"I still don't get you. It almost looks like you despise me with all your heart even if you don't know me. How can you think like that!?" Cahya protested. Seram's expression didn't change…it only became even grimmer. "It seems that you don't get it…I hate every type of people…even if I don't know them…it's just a natural reaction of repulsion that I have…and I cannot do anything about it…i…just hate other lives…that's all. They're what make me feel so disgusted…so hated. Especially the lives that could make me sink in a shittier situation than the one I already am in! Like you of the Red Rose…" She continued. In that moment…she could hear Isak's voice from the distance… "That's what I wanted to hear, my dear Seram. Then I suppose that there's nothing more to add. All you have to do is crush that homunculus and bring forward for the White Rose's first victory." He suggested, sounding like a caring father that was always present for her. The girl simply nodded. "…Let's end this." She said, while getting ready for the battle.

In that moment, Assassin of Red immediately put herself in front of Cahya. "I'm sorry, but as long as I don't see your Servant, you'll be my target!" She threatened the other Master, who didn't seem to be scared. "…You're his Servant, right? Then I have the perfect opponent for you…burn her to ashes…Saber." She spoke.

"Saber!?" Both Cahya and the Servant exclaimed.

In that moment, a pillar of fire appeared behind the mage of the White Rose, and from it…appeared her Servant. Assassin of Red was bewildered by the person, no…the creature that appeared from it. Every step he was making, made the earth tremble, and the air was starting to get hotter. A Heroic Spirit that didn't have nothing that could even remotely remember anything human.

The Servant was a tall titan all made of incandescent rock and flames. He had two large horns and a face that almost resembled that of a demon, while on his hand, he was holding a flaming sword.

"O-Oh…dear gods…what…what is this!?" Assassin of Red exclaimed. "Finally…after so long, I can get the chance to get in action, even if my opponent is a little girl. Guess you'll be the first one that'll be engulfed by the flames of the end." The Servant, Saber of White said.

Cleopatra was stunned by his appearance, but she didn't lose her composure, especially after hearing what he said. "Don't you dare underestimate the beauty of the desert! You've asked for it!" She exclaimed, while a long golden snake surrounded her. Then, with one jump, she went towards Saber of White and attacked him with a kick, but the other Servant simply blocked her with his Sword. Still, a powerful blast wave was generated by the impact. "Hmmm…at least you have a decent strength, but not enough!" Saber of White proclaimed before his eyes started to shine. Assassin of Red could see that he was preparing something, but it was too late, as the Servant made of fire shot two laser beams directly from his eyes, blasting Assassin of Red away. "GAAAAAH!" The female Servant crashed several times on the ground before falling on it, with smoke coming out from her body.

"ASSASSIN!" Cahya shouted worried. "YOU SHOULD LOOK SOMEWHERE ELSE!" Seram called him back while her body was getting surrounded by a strange dark aura. "Huh? What's…happening to her?" Cahya wondered while sweating.

"You…forced me to stay among other people…you…made me pass though a terrible situation…that is why…I won't let you go…I'LL MAKE SURE TO KILL YOU!" Seram shouted while getting fully surrounded by the aura of darkness, which made her change form. Now, her whole body was purple, her mouth was gone, and her eyes became glowing red. "W-What the!? What is that!?" Cahya exclaimed in bewilderment.

"Yes! Excellent! You've let your hate control your entire body and therefore the transformation is complete! You can now proceed into disintegrating that homunculus, my dear Dead Face!" Isak's voice announced. The Dead Face was considered an anomaly even among the regular magecraft. It is a process that transforms the user in a being filled with hatred that loses every other type of emotions and focuses only on tearing the enemy apart. The loss of control granted an extreme amount of power. Someone would have considered this to be the perfect magecraft for someone like Seram. The girl immediately ran towards Cahya and started to attack him with her hands (that looked like claws) and kicks. Cahya widened his eyes and gritted his teeth. He was clearly frightened by this, but he didn't want to lose his life that easily for a quick attack like that, so he swung his sword and started to block Seram's attack as fast as he could. Despite being mostly a mage specialized in support and healing enchantments, Cahya was talented with blades of every type. He was able to quickly attack and block with every type of blade, making him a complete swordsman. "Grrr! She keeps attacking nonstop! At this rate I won't be able to find a break in her combo!" He thought while keeping on blocking Seram's attack.

Suddenly, the mage of the White Rose used her elbow to push Cahya's sword away, leaving him exposed. "Crap!" Cahya thought. Seram immedieately started to attack him with a barrage of kicks all over his body. "GH! AGH! BLARGH!" Cahya started to lose a lot of blood from his mouth before he got sent away by another kick on his head by Seram.

"GAH!" The homunculus ended up crashing his back against a tree, and when he opened his eyes, he could already see Seram running towards him four-legged, like a wolf that ran towards his prey. Afraid, Cahya planted his sword to the ground, which generated some sparks that reached Seram and converted in a shockwave that attacked her. After seeing this opportunity, Cahya ran towards her while his sword started to shine of a clear blue light. "EAT THIS!" He immediately slashed her, making her fly away. Seram released a shout of pain that was distorted, probably because of her actual form. But she stood up and looked at the homunculus with pure hatred. "CURSE…YOU…"

"I knew that wouldn't have been enough to take her down…but at least I discovered that she doesn't seem to be that resistant." Cahya thought. He then looked at his body and noticed that it was entirely soaked in blood. Maybe he couldn't have resisted to her attacks forever but seeing that her strength was compensated by a fragile resistance, maybe he could have given a try. So, he held tight his sword and glared at her with an expression of challenge. "As you can see, I'm still alive! Come at me!" He exclaimed.

Meanwhile, Cleopatra was flying towards Saber of White at full speed, along with her trusted golden cobra. "Direct attacks are pointless don't you think!?" Saber of White shouted while shooting a beam of fire from the palm of his hand. Assassin of Red saw that coming and flew up in order to dodge it. "I have my ways to reach you out!" She said before attacking with a dive kick. She managed to hit the monstrous Servant on the head and forced him to recoil. The female Servant took the chance and started to attack him repeatedly with punches and kickes. "I did it! I'm attacking!" She thought.

"NGHHH! DON'T GET COCKY!" Saber of White protested before attacking with his sword. Cleopatra jumped back in order to avoid the attack, but she noticed with horror that the cut released some explosive flames that blasted her away. "AAAGH!"

Saber of White walked towards her and grabbed her. "You scared me for a second, but it seems that I was right, after all. The gap between our powers is evident!" He spoke. But Assassin of Red already knew how to proceed, as she threw some dust that soon exploded. "GAAAH!" Saber of White had to let her go and cover his eyes for the explosion. "Now! Attack!" In that moment, Cleopatra ordered her cobra to attack Saber of White, making him clash against a pole, after the attack, the snake returned to her.

Saber of White stood up and released a roar that increased his flames. This was her skill known as 'Monstrous Strength' which made him raise his power. Cleopatra was concerned for this sudden increase of power, but she kept on a fighting pose and waited for him to come.

"WREAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Saber of White jumped towards her with his sword while Cleopatra gritted her teeth and answered with a punch. The impact released another blast wave that made many cherry petals to fly high. When the two Servants jumped away, they were surrounded by the falling petals. It was almost an artistic image to see. And then, they started to attack repeatedly. Both of them attacked furiously without leaving a moment to breathe at the enemy, with the pure intent of taking down the enemy.

But, despite Cleopatra's efforts, Saber of White's strength still turned out to be superior, as his sword was able give a direct strike at the Servant's shoulder, making her split blood. "Say Good-" Saber of White was about to finish her, but the cobra that followed Assassin of Red started to surround him, blocking him in a grip. "NGH! WHAT!?"

"NOW!" Assassin of Red took the chance and started to hit Saber of White's chest with a barrage of kicks and then she released some of her explosive dust in order to blast him away.

"GAAAAH!" The Servant fell again. But this only made him increase his flames. Assassin of Red was starting to sweat, and she gritted her teeth as she could see that the enemy Servant was standing up. "Dammit…he's too powerful…I've couldn't have had a worse enemy…at this point I don't even know if I will be able to resist!" She thought. The female Servant turned around to see her Master, who continued his fight with Seram. "Even he's having trouble with her…please, resist…" But then…

"MNF!" Saber of White was already in front of her and grabbed her with his hand. "Now you're ignoring me? Didn't they tell you that is RUDE?" The Servant of fire exclaimed before throwing her away.

"GH! DAMMIT!" Cleopatra exclaimed while finishing on the top of a tree. But when she opened her eyes, she could see that Saber of White already shot a flame from his sword aimed at that tree. In a second, instead of the tree, there was a giant pillar of fire that left an hole of ashes.

At this rate, Assassin of Red could barely stand up and continue to fight. "N-Ngh…" She spoke. "When it comes to me, leaving your guard down is a fatal mistake. Perhaps you noticed that I'm different than the regular Servant. There's this simple issue that distinguishes me. I only have one simple desire of destruction. Destroy everything…AND EVERYONE I SEE! INCLUDING YOU! And I'm glad to see that my Master thinks the same as me! She may be boring, but at least she's the Master I needed!" Saber of White explained.

"D-Destroy you say?" Assassin of Red asked. In that moment…she thought of her last moment back when she was still alive…all the fire and the destruction that consumed her country. This made her wide her eyes and stand up. "I…I already seen many destruction years ago…my whole kingdom…my whole life had been scattered down so easily…and the worst part…is that it wasn't my fault at all! I've…I've got tired of being called the responsible for that end. Now that I have this second chance, I won't waste it as long as I'm here!" She proclaimed.

"YOU'RE BORING!" Saber of White was already dashing towards her with the attempt of stabbing her twice, but Assassin of Red revealed to have still strength to answer his attacks, as she quickly kicked his sword in order to deflect it. Cleopatra was able to answer Saber of White's attacks thanks to her ability called 'Imperial Privilege' which let her fight with melee attacks even with Servants of the Saber or Lancer classes. "I DON'T ALLOW INSULTS LIKE THAT!" She said before making the other Servant recoil with a spinning kick. "YOU'RE PISSING ME OFF!" The other Servant shouted, sounding more frustrated. The two Servants dashed and began again to deliver blows against each other.

"TSEAAAAAAAAH!" In the meantime, Cahya was delivering one blow after another at Seram by using his sword. Despite her fragile body, the dead face was able to easily dodge every attack the homunculus had prepared for her. Cahya then jumped and tried a dive attack, which Seram immediately blocked with her hand. She then kicked the enemy Master on his belly, making him crash against a tree. "GH! Dammit!"

Seram didn't give him time to breath that she was already blocking him with both her hands. With that, she started to give him several headbutts. "OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH OUCH!" Her attacks were becoming more violent as time went on. If she continued to attack like that, she would have probably smashed Cahya's cranium. "Gh- I need to do something quick! Here!" Cahya exclaimed before grabbing Seram's arm and releasing an electric shockwave. For the pain, the dead face had to let him go and she then received a barrage of swords attack by the homunculus that made her fly away.

"Don't let his attacks break you. Focus on your desire of death and attack!" Isak's voice told her. This motivated her even more and she jumped towards her enemy, who blocked his attack with his sword. This time, Cahya was already having more difficulties on blocking Seram's attack, showing that the girl was starting to use more strength in her limbs. "GRRRRRR!"

"STOP RESISTING AND DIE!" Seram shouted. "Stop it! I don't get it! Why do you hold such hatred for other people!?" Cahya tried to ask her a question, even if he knew that it was impossible. "It would be pointless to tell you! You're just a replica! You cannot understand a thing!" The Master of the White Rose answered before pushing him away.

Those last words hurt Cahya in a particular way. Not because they were provocative, but because he knew that she was telling the truth. He was a homunculus, an artificial being created only to fight. But this was the same fact that annoyed him. And yes…it was strange for him to think like that. "What is this…feeling? Am i…getting frustrated? Is this girl…making me angry?" He thought. Cahya stood up and looked at her enemy. Somehow…the sight of that person devoured by darkness made him feel even more angry. Maybe it was because for the insult she gave her, or maybe because he was immersed in the frenzy of the battle. Either way…he was certainly feeling some anger towards her. An anger that made him want to fight. "You…you said that as a replica, I couldn't understand a thing, right? Then how do you explain THIS!?" He exclaimed before dashing towards at high speed with his sword, stabbing her near the shoulder and throw her away. "I don't get what is this feeling I'm having right now, but it just makes me continue to attack! GET READY!" Cahya said, starting to sound more determined. Seram could notice that the homunculus was starting to get serious, and that was enough for her to start not holding back. The two Masters dashed towards the other and clashed against each other, provoking another blast wave that put some poles in short circuit.

"GRAAAAH!" Seram then made Cahya fly up with a fist on his chin and then started to scratch and kick him repeatedly while moving around. But this time, Cahya decided to answer, as he stopped her by hitting her on the arm with his sword and then continuously attacking her with a combo of sword before making her slam to the ground. But Seram still had energy to stand up. "I kill you I kill you, i kill you, I kill you, I kill you, I Kill you I KILL YOU, BASTARD, I KILL YOU!" She shouted before grabbing his face and make him crash to the floor and make him rub on it, before throwing him against a tree. "GAH! Anf…I'm starting to become weaker…but even her. I need to have enough energy to take her down…" He said to himself. "TSEAAAAAH!"

"TAKE THIS!" Meanwhile, Assassin of Red was releasing explosive stardust while jumping away from Saber of White. The Servant of the White Rose got attacked by all the explosions, but despite this, he kept on chasing his enemy, just like a machine that kept on working even if it was heavily damaged. "Don't think you can escape that easily from me!" He exclaimed before shooting red lasers from his eyes that fully hit Assassin of Red, making her fly away. "AGH!" Cleopatra quickly regained balance and sent her cobra to attack her opponent.

Saber of White saw that coming and smashed the cobra to the ground with his sword. But the cobra could still move and grabbed the Servant's legs with its tail. "Ngh! What!?" The Cobra then threw the giant Servant in to the sky, where Cleopatra was already flying towards him and delivered a powerful kick that sent him away, but not before Saber of White delivered a giant flame from his sword to Assassin of Red. In the end, both two Servants fell to the ground.

But the most injured one was Cleopatra, who could barely stand up at this point. "NGH! I can't feel my legs!" She said before looking at his enemy, who was slowly approaching her. "T-This Servant is too powerful, just who the hell is he!? If the White Rose has strong Servants like him, then the tides of the war are totally on their advantage…but…at least I can see that he can get hit like a regular Servant, so he's not invincible…even though…maybe it's thanks to my Imperial Privilege skill, so I don't know for how long I shall resist…it's clear that I am at disadvantage…" She thought. Her reasoning was wrong. Despite her efforts, she was the one at disadvantage and at this point, she didn't even know if she could win against such Servant. But then…she widened her eyes and touched her cheeks, like she wanted to wake up. "No! Cleopatra, what are you saying!? You're the beauty of the desert and the one who shall obtain the Holy Grail with Cahya! You can't let a stupid monster of fire defeat you! I must react!" But then…in that moment…

"So, you still have strength to raise your head up? You really must be the most stubborn of Heroic Spirits if you still think that you can resist. I'm curious now…will you still be able to fly like a little bird?" Saber of White said.

"Oh, you'll see!" Cleopatra exclaimed as she started to fly around him while throwing explosive dust at him. But just like before, Saber of White endured all her attacks and grabbed the enemy Servant on her face. "MMF!" She exclaimed.

"I thought that you understood that repeating your attacks was worthless at this point, but it seemed that you're dumber than I thought!" Saber of White answered before throwing her down.

Assassin of Red was starting to lose blood on her head. She raised it up, but most of her body was severely injured. "Dammit…" She spoke. "Well…it's not that of a big deal, since I think it's time for the final blow…I'll make sure that you'll immediately turn into dust!" The other Servant said as he started to raise his sword.

Meanwhile Cahya and Seram were delivering several straight blows to each other before they noticed their Servants. "No way!" Cahya then turned around and could see that his Servant was laying down while Saber of White was still standing up. "A-Assassin!?"

"What are you planning to do, Saber? You know you can't use that attack" Seram asked. "I know it well…the effects would be too dangerous. I'll just use the necessary to get rid of this girl." Saber of White answered. In that moment, the sword started to be surrounded by incandescent flames. If Assassin of Red would have got attacked by that, she would have probably ended up being carbonized.

"ASSASSIN! STAND UP!" Cahya shouted.

"SINK INTO THE DEPTHS OF HELLHEIM!" With that, Saber of White released a powerful beam of flames. It wasn't a Noble Phantasm, but it was enough to finish her opponent.

But Assassin of Red looked at it and stood up. "NO! I WON'T ALLOW IT!" She shouted before her cobra came close to her and shot a beam of fire from its mouth. Soon, the two attacks started to collide, generating a tremendous earthquake that made some blossom petals fly away, while the surrounding environment of the two Servants started to be covered in terrible flames.

"NGHHHHHHHH!" Cahya did his best to stay with his feet on the ground and not fly away, while Cahya simply looked at the clash.

"You don't give up yet, Servant of the Red Rose!? Don't you realize that you've lost all your energies!?" Saber of White exclaimed. "I CAN'T GIVE UP YET! I WON'T BE THE FIRST ONE! I HAVE A MOTIVE TOO TO STAY IN THIS WAR!" Cleopatra shouted while her heels were slowly sinking down. She was clearly making an extreme effort to resist. This was shown by the fact that Saber of White's attack was slowly surpassing her.

"I…can't fall! GHHHHHHHHHHH! I DON'T WANT THIS SECOND CHANCE BE FOR NOTHING!" Assassin of Red shouted.

Cahya was looking at his Servant with clear concern. He could not feel anything, but in that moment, he could clearly see that Cleopatra was giving her all. She knew that she could not win, but at least…she wanted to block that attack. She just wanted…a way to survive. And that's something Cahya…felt too.

"Assassin of Red…is striving to live on…much like me…" He thought. In that moment…he gritted her teeth and made a gaze full of anger. "Agh, DAMMIT! What am I doing!? She's doing this for us, I can't let her down!" He exclaimed.

"And what do you intend to do!? You can't stop that attack!" Seram exclaimed. "This is what you think!" Cahya answered before slowly raising his hand. Seram widened her eyes as she understood what he was planning. "What!? Saber, be careful!" She then advised his Servant, but the homunculus was determined to do one last effort. It would have probably been a waste…but at least, just like her Servant, he wanted to give a try.

"I order you by using this Command Spell! NULLIFY SABER OF WHITE'S ATTACK WITH ALL YOU'VE GOT!" In that moment, Cahya used one of his Command Spells to give more power to Cleopatra, who got surrounded by energy. "Ah! Cahya! Gh…GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!"

Now that she could feel stronger, Assassin of Red could give more power to her attack, which slowly regained field. "Are you serious!? Tch…YOU FOOL!" Saber of White shouted, not wanting to let go.

Now, both Masters and Servants looked at the scene with tension…the earth started to tremble even more…before in the end, the two attacks collided and generated a gigantic explosion that could be seen even from the tallest skyscrapers.

"AAAAAAAAAAAAAAGH!" All of them ended up fly away because of the impact, which left a large amount of smoke in the air. Some parts of the Ueno Park were largely damaged, but the zone, somehow…was able to resist.

"Anf…anf…anf…" Cleopatra was laying down to the ground, powerless. The only thing she could do was to look up at this point. Still…she could maintain her form. "Man…now I'm really messed up…at least i…uh!?" She said before noticing two eyes in the smoke.

It was Saber of White, who stood up in front of her. "Y-You…gotta be kidding me…" She commented. "D-Dammit…He…still has power to move on…" Cahya said while standing up. Even Seram stood up while turning back to normal. "How disgusting…you wasted a Command Spell just to block Saber's attack? Just like I thought…people like you are repulsing…Saber…finish him." She ordered.

"It may be one of the few times I'll say, 'with pleasure'." Saber of White answered before attempting to stab Assassin of Red with his sword. "N-No! Stop!" Cahya tried to run towards his Servant and defend her, but he wouldn't have reached her in time.

"This is the- AGH!" But then in that moment, Saber of White got attacked by an arrow of fire and sent against a tree. "What!?" Seram exclaimed. Even she, got attacked by a small explosion of fire. "AGH!"

"Uh?" Cahya turned around and noticed a pleasant surprise: Kazuto and Archer of Red were coming closer. "Are you ok, Cahya?" The Tohsaka mage asked.

"Kazuto! Gh!" The homunculus fell down on his knees before Kazuto carried his arm on the shoulder. "Here, let me help you. Luckily, my feeling was right…" The other mage said. Even Archer of Red grabbed Assassin of Red on her shoulder. "T-Thank you…Archer…" Cleopatra said. "Don't move, you're injured." When the mages of the Red Rose turned around, they could see that Saber of White already grabbed Seram and jumped away. "They…escaped. Evenso...they still are the winners of this match…they…easily surpassed us…" Cahya commented.

"That Servant…wasn't normal, right Archer?" Kazuto asked to his Servant. "No…maybe he's a different type of Spirit…" Archer of Red answered. "He was…incredible. If we're here, we owe it just to you. Cahya had to use one of his Command Spell just to make me block one of his attacks…I'm…really concerned for the next time we shall meet him." Assassin of Red added.

"Really? Dammit…If that's the case…he can be one of the biggest dangers in this war. We should discuss it with Marcus as soon as possible. Oh…of course, after you feel better." Kazuto answered before turning on Cahya with a smile.

"Yeah…that would be the case, thanks…I need…a bed right now." Cahya spoke. "H-Hey…Cahya…I didn't know you could have a sense of humor…" Cleopatra told him. "…What's a sense of humor?" The homunculus asked.

Assassin of Red looked at him in silence for some seconds…before she made a giggle. "Nevermind. And…thank you. It's true that we're safe because of Kazuto and Archer of Red…but thanks to your Command Spell…we were able to get some time so…you could say that you saved me as well. Again…thank you. And that's coming from me! You should be honored!" She spoke.

"Uh…you say…your welcome in these cases…right? Eheh...I'm learning a lot of stuff today and i don't even notice it…" The homunculus replied. "Yeah…you said it right. Ok…there shouldn't be anyone else, right now. Let's go." Kazuto added.

While leaving, Cahya looked around to see if he could still see Seram, but nothing. Their battle was just over, but there were still many things that Cahya wanted to know about her. That person…made him curious, even if she was his complete opposite. Why did she hate humanity so much? Why did she feel so much contempt for the enemy faction? And why it seemed that…she suffered because of it? She said that he would have never understood…but what? "Hmmm…it's better for me to not think about it now…but I'll probably meet her again…and the next time…I'll have to be ready." He thought.

Meanwhile, Seram and Saber of White were recovering for the battle on the top of a skyscraper. "Grrrr…even if I'm made of fire…all of those attacks still hurt!" The Servant of fire commented. "Why did you make us leave the battlefield?" Seram asked him. "Don't be ridiculous. That attacked I used made me spent a lot of magical energy. I couldn't face another Servant in that state. Gee, for a Master, you really are a nuisance." Saber of White answered. "Tch…and to think that I could eliminate her! If it wasn't for that other brat!" He added.

While Saber of White complained about the outcome of the fight, Seram looked at the city, thinking of her opponent, especially that last action he made. That homunculus used a Command Spell to block Saber of White's decisive blow. A pointless move from her point of view, but that still decided the end. She didn't say it openly but…

"That Homunculus…surprised me. He's a replica made only to fight and die…yet he showed a will to live that in the end made him survive. Is it…a defect or something? Homunculus don't behave in that way, right? Then…why? Why does he want to live so much even if he knows he has only one purpose?" She still thought of it.

"Hey, Master! Did you become a doll or something!?" Saber of White exclaimed, called her back to reality. "Come on, we're done here. It's time to go back to the castle."

"…Yes…" Seram simply replied. "What…was that Homunculus…exactly?" She thought. And with that, Saber of White turned back to his spiritual form, while Seram started to jump from one building to another in order to reach the headquarters.

Back at the park…when everyone was gone…Kanashimi came out from behind a tree…and looked at the damages with a concerned face. "So…they were able to summon him as a Servant too…if he would ever lose control…he could become quite troublesome…"

Tokyo - Sensōji Temple – 14th April 2021 – 20.00 P.M

Around the same time, another battle was going to take place, and in this case, with more people. Four pairs of Masters and Servants were able to go inside the temple's area to be faithful with the hour they've decided to fight their battle. And now they were there.

Gordon Fragarthach, Saber of Red, Alvis Walker, Rider of Red, Cynthia Rosi, Archer of White, Adewale Nwadike and Berserker of White…were all stepping forward until they've stopped right under a row of red lamps that made light for them. The four pairs looked at each other in silence…much like a classical western movie.

"So…you've decided to come out in the end. Glad to see that at least you're not a pussycat." Gordon said to Cynthia in order to break the silence. "I always keep my word. I said that I would have made you regret your choice, so here we are, ready to give you a taste of what I can do." Cynthia answered.

Saber of Red then gave a look at Archer of White, noticing that he was holding something big: a large coffin colored in white with golden lines, hold by a chain. "That's a big coffin you have there. Don't tell me that you've prepared your own funeral in case of defeat!" He commented. Archer of White found it funny and chuckled. "Oh please. I may be old but not that much. What you see here is my weapon, and it is something that may surprise you, my friend." He answered. "Really? Man, I was waiting for something like this! The bigger it is then better it will be!" Saber of Red spoke.

"I'm glad to see that you've came, Alvis. Just to let you know, even if I don't intend to kill you, I won't hold back." Adewale said. "I know it well. Neither I will. I hope you're ready." Alvis replied.

"Finally, we meet again, pussycat! I couldn't wait to meet you and take off that head of yours from your body!" Rider of Red exclaimed while holding her whip tightly. "Rider, you're exaggerating…" Alvis told her. "I DON'T GIVE A DAMM! This stupid cat dared to humiliate me! I won't forgive her!" The Servant exclaimed. "I can ignore those insults of yours. I only care if you can fight or less." Berserker of White answered. "There she goes again with that nonchalance!" Rider of Red thought while gritting her teeth.

The dice had been cast, and the settings were ready. Gordon took off his jacket, revealing that his muscular body was full of rune tattoo, and he also wore two brass knuckles on his hands. He immediately used magecraft on his body in order to become stronger, as he watched Cynthia, who simply stood on guard. Alvis on the other hand took a rapier and pointed at Adewale, who closed his hands to fists, but the Master of the Red Rose could see some drawings on his arms. "Tattoo? They seem different from Gordon's ones…" He thought.

"Are you ready to fight, Alvis?" Gordon asked to his companion. "Sure do. Be careful you on the other hand. That girl is hiding something." Alvis replied. "Oh, I'll be more than satisfied in that case!" The other Master of the Red Rose exclaimed. "And you, my dear? Ready to go?" Saber of Red asked to Rider of Red. "Oh yes! Ready to have a SWEET revenge!" Rider of Red answered. "That's the spirit!" The other Servant added.

"I think we can start then." Adewale said. "We are waiting for you." Cynthia added. It didn't even take even a second that Gordon was already running towards Cynthia with a fist. "THEN HERE I COME!"

Cynthia saw that coming and used her mystic eyes immediately. From her point of view…she could see every single movement made by Gordon before he would have reached her face, like every single sequence of a film's motion picture. Thanks to that, she could see that Gordon was going to give her a straight punch in the face. So…all that she did…was to quickly move on the right. The Master of the Red Rose widened his eyes when he saw her enemy do this action.

"What!?" Alvis, Saber and Rider of Red all exclaimed. "That punch would have probably hit her! How is that possible!?" Alvis said.

"What the!?" Gordon added. "You missed!" Cynthia told her with a little smile. This, of course, made Gordon annoyed. "GRRRRRAH!" He tried to give a chop, but the result was the same. Thanks to her mystic eyes, Cynthia could see every movement he would have made and jumped backwards to avoid the blow. "What are you doing!?" Gordon exclaimed.

"You seem to have nice moves indeed!" Cynthia told him. "But now it's my turn." She then added with a cold tone that gave his opponent a shiver on his back. for a second. She then raised her hand. A few electric shockwaves appeared…making clear that she was summoning a weapon, which appeared: a clear blue ethereal blade. She held it tightly before entering in a combat pose and look at his opponent with glowing eyes. "Begone."

In a fraction of second, she started to attack repeatedly Gordon with the blade. "NGH! DON'T MOCK ME!" The Master of the Red Rose was able to push her away with his arm and then started to run towards her.

"Gordon!" Alvis exclaimed. "Where are you looking?" Adewale called him back while running towards him. "Ah!" The Master of the Red Rose could see him coming and prepared for an eventual counterattack with his rapier. When Adewale was close to him, Alvis started to attack repeatedly with the rapier, like a swordsman. Adewale turned out to be fast enough to avoid the attacks, as he made right movements with the head. "Good reflexes, but not enough!" He said before touching Alvis with the palm of his hand, causing a shock that hurt him. "AAAAAAAH!" Alvis was forced to recoil while his body was smoking. "Anf…what was that!?" He exclaimed.

"It's simple. It's the result of years of study in the art of alchemy. That was the effect of the signs on my arms. On my left arm, I have the circle of reconstruction, while on the right hand, I have the circle of destruction. I can create and destroy matter at the same time!" Adewale explained.

"The art of alchemy…well, thank you for telling me that, but I'll let you know that I can answer too!" Alvis answered while pointing up his rapier. Soon, water started to form around him that took the form of several wolves that immediately charged against Adewale.

"What!?" Adewale exclaimed before getting bit by some of them. "Ngh!" He had to put his hand down in order to create a pillar of cement that destroyed the wolves. But he could see that Alvis was already creating more of them, ready to attack. "I see that you don't intend to let me breathe, then!" He commented.

"You guessed it, right!" Alvis replied with a tone of challenge.

Meanwhile, Saber of Red and Archer of White ran against each other and made their weapons clash. "HA!" The weapons made a strong noise while clashing. "Eheh! Not bad for a first impression!" Saber of Red commented. "Oh, you think that this is already the first impression?" Archer of White replied with a smirk on his face. "What?" After hearing that, Saber of Red jumped away. This gave the opportunity to Archer of White to use his coffin, which started to shoot a barrage of bullets, like a machine gun. "Enjoy the service!"

"Oh shit!" Saber of Red started to run around him in order to avoid the bullets, which soon reached him, so he had to use his sword to block them. Even this wasn't enough, as some of the bullets hit Saber of Red on the spleens, making him bleed. "Ack! Dammit!" Saber of Red exclaimed. Archer of Red didn't even give him some time that he already dashed in front of him, ready to smash him with the coffin. But Saber of Red knew his stuff, so he quickly counter attacked with his sword and use his free arm to give him a fist on the belly. "NGAH!" Archer of White spit blood from his mouth as he quickly jumped backwards. "Don't think you have the advantage because you have a firearm! There's still plenty of me that you need to see, gramps!" Saber of Red told him. But the opponent Servant wasn't annoyed, rather happy, as he made a smile. "Oh, I don't ask for more! Come at me with everything you've got, big boy!" He said before grabbing his coffin in a different way. Several blades that started to rotate appeared around the weapon, making it a chainsaw that Archer of White immediately used against Saber of Red, who blocked it with his sword. "Woah! That's new for me! I thought your weapon was a machine gun!" He commented. "My weapon is multi-use and can assume various forms! As someone who wants to bring havoc in the world, I need to be ready at everything!" Archer of White answered. In that moment, the two Servants started to clash their weapons several times. The two Servants looked like two knights clashing in a decisive battle, and Saber of Red was surprised to see that Archer of White was using his weapon with smoothness and agility, like a young and expert fencer. Saber of Red then tried a direct lunge, but Archer of White simply dodged it by jumping up.

"He's showing to be really tough! Just who the hell is he? Oh well. I'm certainly won't hold back!" Saber of Red thought with a smile. "Despite everything, he still seems composed. I guess it's time to find a way to break his spirit." Archer of White on the other hand thought with a smirk.

Rider of Red, on the other hand was trying to catch Berserker of White with her whip. The Servant of the White Rose simply jumped back from spot to spot in order to avoid the attacks, but she got taken by her ankle. "Ah!"

"Gotcha!" With a tone of satisfaction, Rider of Red started to repeatedly smash Berserker of White to the ground with violence. "AHHAAHAH! SERVES YOU RIGHT, STUPID CA-" The girl Servant was going to mock her, but Berserker of White already knew how to answer, as she grabbed the whip and pushed it to herself in order to make Rider of Red come closer. "What!?"

Berserker of White immediately started to punch her several times on the face and then scratch her with her claws. "AGH!" Rider of Red exclaimed. Once she was done, Berserker of White kicked her on the abdomen in order to push her away. "You shouldn't talk too soon. Didn't they tell you?" She commented.

Rider of Red touched her face, and she could see her palm soaked in blood. "Y-You…YOU HARMED MY BEAUTIFUL FACE! UNACCEPTABLE!" She shouted before the crystal on her crown started to shine and shoot a laser beam. Berserker of White didn't see it coming and got fully hit by it, falling to the ground. "Agh!" When she stood up, she could see that Rider of Red was already starting to shoot other laser beams, so she started to jump high to dodge them. On her back, two black wings started to appear, giving her the possibility to fly. "Her attacks are easy to dodge, but they're powerful. I just need to be careful." Berserker of White thought, before summoning a bow with an arrow that shot at Rider of Red.

The Servant of the Red Rose widened her eyes and jumped backwards to avoid the arrow and then she started to shoot more laser beams, with Berserker of White coming closer while shooting several arrows. Both Servants moved well and were able to dodge each other's attacks, until Berserker of White was able to reach Rider of Red and started to attack her with her bow. To defend herself, Rider of Red countered with her whip, which then used to throw the enemy's arrow away. But Berserker of White immediately started to scratch her all over her body, destroying even the jacket that was covering Rider of Red's body. "AGH!" The Servant of the Red Rose was starting to get more wounds, until she decided to block Berserker of White's hands and started to slap her repeatedly on the face. "OUCH!" Berserker of White shouted. In the end, The Servant of the Red Rose threw the enemy away, making her clash against a palace and fall.

When Berserker of White stood up, she could still feel her cheeks burning for the slaps. "Y-You…you just slapped me!" She spoke. "And you scratched me all over the body!" Rider of Red countered. In that moment…Berserker of White gazed at her opponent while getting surrounded by a dark aura. "Fair enough. COME HERE NOW!" She then dashed at high speed towards Rider of Red, who tried to block her, but without effort, as Berserker of White ran over her, grabbed her by the legs, and threw it against a small building, making it crumble.

When she stood up from the debris, Rider of Red saw that Berserker of White was looking at her carefully. "Dammit…that cat really knows her stuff…I admit that I may have let my guard down, considering that she must have the Madness Enchantment. Time to get serious!" She thought before summoning an assistant, a large bull covered in a silver armor. She jumped on his back and ordered him to charge against the enemy. But right in that moment, Berserker of White did something unexpected: after being surrounded by the dark aura, she turned into a large boar that charged against the bull. "What the!?" Rider of Red exclaimed.

By raising her tusks up, Berserker of White was able to throw the bull away, with Rider of Red that jumped away from him. Berserker of White then turned back to normal and dashed towards the enemy, who promptly used her whip repeatedly to stop her. The Servant of the White Rose ended up getting hit many times, but she could still give an elbow attack to Rider of Red, making her recoil.

"GH! You really don't know your place, do you!? I guess I'll have to tame you like the animal you are!" Rider of Red exclaimed. "Oh, trust me, there are many who already tried." Berserker of White answered.

Meanwhile. Cynthia was keeping on attacking Gordon with her ethereal blade. Thanks to his body, the mage of the Red Rose didn't feel the damages that much. The problem was that there were many of them, so he had to find a way to get rid of her. "KYAH!" He suddenly punched the ground and threw some pieces of floor to Cynthia. The Rosi Mage could not know that those pieces would have become explosive mines that would have made her recoil. "Ngh! Uh!?" She could then see that Gordon was already in front of her, delivering a punch. Cynthia used her mistic eyes to predict the way he would have used it and quickly moved her head on the left, but then Gordon immediately gave her a kick on the face, which made her fly away. "ACK!"

Gordon already stood on guard while he waited for Cynthia to stand up. "W-What the hell just happened? I didn't see that kick in my predictions! It happened too soon! Is he's…already finding a way to counterattack me? No…don't lose temper Cynthia…you can still have the advantage on this battle…" The girl thought.

"If I was you, I wouldn't lose time by just standing still!" Gordon exclaimed while throwing more explosive mines that went toward Cynthia and caused an explosion. When the smoke disappeared, he could see that the enemy mage already disappeared, so he quickly turned around.

"Over here!" Cynthia spoke as she created several large ice blocks that directly went in Gordon's direction. The mage of the Red Rose wasn't afraid of this and started to run, destroying every one of them. When he destroyed the last one, he could see Cynthia in front of him, attacking by making her blade rotate. "AGH! You're fast, but I know how to answer!" Gordon exclaimed before grabbing Cynthia's arms and give her a strong headbutt on the nose. He then smashed her to the ground several times and threw her away.

"AAAAAAGH!" Cynthia ended up rubbing on the floor and leave a trail of blood behind her before standing up. "C-Crap…I think he broke a capillary…" She spoke.

"I acknowledge your strength, but don't think it will be enough. We of the Fragarthach family are used to these types of brawls, so it will take twice the time to bring me down!" Gordon said before starting to run.

"Oh, you sure of that!?" Cynthia exclaimed, starting to sound more annoyed while her blade created a large energy strand that reached Gordon, giving him deep cuts in most of his body, especially his arms and his legs. "BLARGH!" The mage even spit some of his blood.

Cynthia didn't lose any time and ran towards him, ready to attack him with the blade. Gordon immediately opened his eyes and tried to use a chop. Cynthia used her mystic eyes to predict the movement and dodge it. Gordon then tried to use his knee, which was dodged by using the same way. But the third attack worked, a punch on her belly, which made her spit blood. "ARGH!"

"TAKE THIS!" Gordon took the chance to attack her with a barrage of punches and sent her away. "Anf…it seems that Alvis was right…who knew that this girl was holding all these attacks? Well…at least I found someone who could entertain me. Even if the goal is still to win." He said to himself.

Cynthia stood up while still feeling the pain for that barrage of punches. Despite everything, she still had the strength to stand up and look at her opponent with fury and resolve. "Even if I can predict his moves…he's not showing hesitation…but I won't as well! This time…I'll make sure to be heard!" She thought.

Adewale on the other hand, clapped his hands and put them to the ground in order to create various pillars of cement and throw them at Alvis, who moved fast enough to run through them and arrive at Adewale and made him a horizontal cut with the rapier. Adewale moved back, but the weapon was still able to give him a cut on the chest. Adewale then tried to attack him with the arm that had the circle of destruction, but Alvis moved to the right to avoid him and hit him first with his elbow and then with the rapier. "Ack!" Adewale had to move back, but he looked at his opponent with a smirk. "I see that you're starting to answer back. Glad to see a talented enemy!" He spoke.

"The same goes for you. Now that you're this close, let's see if you can dodge this!" Alvis replied before summoning more wolves made of water that jumped on Adewale, who used the circle of destruction to get rid of them. But once he did this, he found himself surrounded by more of those wolves who attacked him. "ARGH!"

Alvis took the chance and started to use various lunges against Adewale, leaving small holes to his body. But the Master of the White rose opened his eyes and used the circle of destruction on Alvis's body, stunning him. "GH!" Adewale then used the circle of creation to create a punch made of cement to push Alvis away. "I admire your strength, but I too have a wish to ask, so don't think I'm an easy opponent just because I'm more pacifist than the others!" The Master of the White Rose told him.

"Oh, don't worry, I know the risks too well!" Alvis answered, as he started to create more water. Adewale could feel that he was preparing more wolves made of water, so he immediately clapped his hands and released a shockwave to make the water disappear, but when this happened, Alvis was already gone. "What!? Where did he go?" Adewale wondered. But the answer arrived soon, since he immediately felt many attacks hitting his back. "Ack!" When he turned around, he could see the Master of the Red Rose holding his rapier. "Ngh...clever move! but how about this?" Adewale told him before grabbing him from the arm and throwing him on the ground. He then tried to attack with the circle of destruction, but Alvis slipped away in time and tried to attack with the rapier, with Adewale who lowered his head in time. After Adewale raised his head, the two mages looked at each other in silence for some seconds before turning back into action.

Archer of White turned his coffin into a rocket launcher and shot several missiles that aimed at Saber of Red, who used his sword to deflect them. The missiles ended up in various parts around the temple causing various explosions, while Archer of White already jumped on the temple's roof and started to shoot with the coffin in its machine gun variant.

"Ngh!" Saber of Red got attacked by that myriad of bullets yet again, but he didn't give up, as he put his sword in front of him and started to move towards the temple, where his enemy was standing. When he was close enough, he made a large jump in order to reach Archer of White and attack with the sword, but the Servant of the White Rose smirked at this sight. "Heh. Just as I thought." He suddenly disappeared, leaving the other Servant confused. Saber of Red then noticed three small knives that stabbed him at the belly, making him lose blood. "Agh!" When he raised his head up, he could see Archer of White above him, sending him back to the ground with a blow carried by the coffin.

Saber of Red fell, leaving a crater on the floor for the impact. When he stood up, he opened his eyes and looked at his enemy with serious concern. "Hmmm! What a delightful face you're making! It's exactly what I wanted!" Archer of White commented satisfied before using his coffin as a machine gun again. Saber of Red saw that coming and used the sword to defend himself while running towards him. When he was close enough, Archer of White turned the coffin into a flamethrower and shot fire from it. This time, Saber of Red saw that coming and quickly rotated behind the enemy and attacked him five times with the sword, making him recoil. "NGH!" Archer of White gritted his teeth and turned around to Saber of Red, who was smirking. "What you did before was a vile strategy, right?" He asked, surprising Archer of White. "Uh? How do you know that?" The other Servant asked.

"Simple, because I, too, as a man that fought in many wars, know something about strategies! With that idea you had, I understood that not only you have a strong physical power, but also a too big brain. Which means, that I'll be as twice as devoted to this struggle to take you down!" Saber of Red replied before dashing towards him. "In that case, good luck. Not many were able to see over my genius!" Archer of White replied before shooting more missiles. Saber of Red deflected two of them with the sword and then put it in front of him to cut the third one in half. He liked this last action, as he smirked. But that smile turned into an expression of surprise when he saw Archer of White in front of him, attacking him twice with his heavy coffin, making him spit some blood from the mouth. This was able thanks to an ability known as 'End of the Spider Thread' which led him think of great evil schemes both in plans and combat. But Saber of Red stood still and clashed the coffin with his sword, ending up with the two Servants starting to clash their weapons. Even Saber of Red had a similar ability named 'Mind's eye', which led him deduce the means of survival and possible predicaments of the enemy's skills in order to continue the fight.

While clashing their weapons, both Servants had smiles on their faces. "Brilliant, Saber of Red! Really brilliant! Your tactics and ways of survival never cease to amaze me! It has been a long since I've encountered someone like you! I can't wait to see how you'll react when you'll see my flawless move!" Archer of White told him. "Even I am impressed from you! For being an old man, you surely have some tremendous guts! My blood is all pumping up! But maybe you didn't realize that I too have a flawless move, isn't it right, Gordon?" Saber of Red replied. "Wait what?" Archer of White didn't understand until he felt two chops attacking him on the neck. "AGH!" When he turned around, he could see Gordon, glaring at him with a large smile of challenge while holding his hands on the Servant's neck before delivering two punches on his face, making him recoil. What shocked Archer of White, was that his fists were strong enough to make him feel genuine pain, which was unnatural, since Mages were usually a lot weaker than Servants.

Gordon landed near his Servant, making a brofist with him. "Nice shot, Master!" Saber of Red told him. "So, this is how it feels to attack a Servant. Gotta say, it's really nice!" Gordon replied. In that moment, Cynthia reached them, sounding frustrated. "Are you kidding me!? You escaped from me just to attack my Servant!?" She exclaimed. "How is that even possible!?"

"I've distracted you with more explosive mines and reached for your Servant. And thanks to the runes all over my body, coming directly from the primordial ones of the Norse God Odin. My family had been used for generations to the practice of melee combats, so attacking Servants is not something new for us. Even though…getting out of that blade of yours wasn't easy…" Gordon replied. In that moment, Saber of Red could see all the injures on Gordon's body. "She did make you sweat, didn't she?" He asked. "Hell yeah…but i really don't give a damm." His Master answered.

Cynthia looked at both of them. She almost felt sorry for the declination she received. Now she could see that if he would have accepted, the White Rose would have gotten a good asset.

"Master…" Archer of White suddenly said. "Uh? What is it, Archer?" Cynthia asked. "I see that you're starting to doubt. As you can see, you can easily hit him despite his strength. Don't let your mind be clouded by pity thoughts. I think it's time…we both let our limits…go…" The Servant said with a smirk. "Enjoy this match…while it lasts."

Cynthia looked at him, surprised…but she understood what he meant…and this made her remind of her purpose. "…Η ζωή είναι ωραία." She spoke in a low voice. She then turned around and glared at Gordon, her opponent. All her thoughts and doubts were gone and replaced with a huge sense of desire to show what she was made of. She hated the idea of being knocked out by Gordon, and she was going to show it. With that…she did something unexpected.

She…started to whistle.

"Uh?" Gordon asked. "Why is she…?" Saber of Red added. After that…Cynthia slowly took position with her ethereal blade, making Gordon stay on guard. But the Fragarthach mage didn't know that effort…was pointless.

It didn't even take a second, that Cynthia was already in front of him, cutting his spleen with the blade. "AH!" The mage of the Red Rose shouted while his Servant looked with eyes wide open. But Cynthia didn't end there…as Gordon suddenly got surrounded by various slashes of the sword. "GAAAAAAAAAAAH!" Gordon ended up falling on his knees while a puddle of blood started to grow on his feet. "GRRRRRRRRR! W-What…just happened!?"

In that moment…a sense of superiority filled Cynthia. It was like...a feeling she always desired. The sight of her enemy standing down on his knees gave her a huge feeling of satisfaction. "So…how does it feel to be put on your knees…" She spoke. When Gordon raised his head up, he could see that the girl was having a delighted smirk while the moon illuminated her, and the wind moved her hair. "WORTHLESS SCUM?" She added.

"A-Absurd! How did she become so fast!?" Saber of Red wondered…before hearing his enemy…sing…

"London Bridge is falling down…falling down…falling down…London Bridge is falling down…my...fair…lady…"

Saber of Red slowly turned towards Archer of White, who was slowly raising his head up. The Servant of the Red Rose didn't know why…but he started to sweat from his head for some reason. "Oh oh…i…think he's starting to…"

"London Bridge is falling down…falling down…falling down…London Bridge is falling down…" When Archer of White lifted his head completely…he showed a distorted smile…showing a different nature than the usual. "My…fair…Lady…" He quickly dashed towards Saber of Red and attacked him with the coffin. Saber of Red was able to block him with his sword, but he could feel that the enemy Servant was already using more strength than before, so he was forced to jump back. Archer of White didn't leave him time to breathe and immediately used his machine gun to shoot continuously with still that distorted expression at his face. "What's wrong with him!?" Saber of Red exclaimed. "That's simple, big boy! I'm doing things…my way!" Archer of White answered while keeping on shooting.

Saber of Red gritted his teeth. Now, both his enemy and the human Master were showing another side of their personality, and thus, another strength. If Saber of Red and Gordon were focusing on attacking, now they've had to focus to defend themselves and counterattack.

Meanwhile, Berserker of White was shooting several arrows made of dark energy at Rider of Red, who ran through them to reach the enemy and dodge them. One of the arrows was almost close to take her head, but she quickly moved her head to the left in time, so the arrow only grabbed some of her hair. When she was close enough to her, Rider of Red grabbed Berserker of White with her whip and made her slam to the ground.

"NGH!" Berserker of White quickly stood up and generated her wings to fly up and try a dive attack, which was blocked by Rider of Red by the use her whip. The Servant of the White Rose then tried to use her other hand, but the Servant of the Red Rose blocked it. Berserker of White was then forced to kick her in order to make her recoil, and Rider of Red answered by using a laser beam from her crown which hit Berserker of White and made her fall. "Now's my chance!" Rider of Red exclaimed.

She then started to run towards her and tried to use another laser beam, but Berserker of White quickly opened her eyes and grabbed the other Heroic Spirit from the neck, slamming her to the ground various time, like a predator that wanted to make sure that their prey was dead. Rider of Red started to feel the blows on her body, but she didn't want to give up. Her desire to punish Berserker of White for how she treated her was already too big to be stopped and she would have done everything to finish her, even if it meant using a brutal way. So, she used her whip to grab her neck and reverse the situation.

"A-ACK!" Berserker of White tried to get free, as Rider of Red tried to choke her. "Now you've learned your place, pussycat! This is the fair punishment for all those who dare defy me and my beautiful body! You should have thought twice before treating me that way! An abomination like you shouldn't be called an Heroic Spirit! Even your Master should be disappointed of you! Now both you and that mage that you couldn't protect will die!" The Servant of the Red Rose told her with a victorious tone.

But in those words, there was something that triggered Berserker of White…making her grab Rider of Red on the face and throw her away with outstanding violence. "GAH! W-What the fuck!?" Rider of Red exclaimed.

"Don't you dare…TALK OF ADEWALE IN THAT WAY!" Berserker of White shouted while getting surrounded by a dark aura and her eyes becoming glowing red. She put herself on four legs before dashing towards Rider of Red at high speed and punch her various times. "YOU'RE THE ONE WHO SHOULD KNOW HER PLACE!" She added before gave her a last punch that made her clash against a wall again.

Rider of Red was starting to feel her muscles abandon her as she stood up and glared at her opponent, who was still furious. "M-Man…at this point I'll be doomed if I don't come up with something…" She thought.

In the meantime, Adewale pushed Alvis away with a kick and then sent some spikes made of cement against him. The mage of the Red Rose cut them in half with his rapier and generated a wolf made of water that clashed against Adewale. He then turned around and noticed that Gordon and his Saber were having difficulties with their opponents. "Oh gosh, just as i- MFF!" He was going to say something, but Adewale grabbed him on the face and used the circle of destruction to hurt him and made him fall on his knees. "You've noticed it too, right? Cynthia is giving trouble to your friend. At this point is more convenient for you to think again about my offer. It would be troublesome if your faction should lose their Saber of Red, right?" Adewale told him.

But Alvis was still on his decision, as he quickly stood up and used magic water to blind him. "Ack!" "I think I was clear this morning!" Alvis told him before he started to run towards his friend.

"Hey! Don't think you can escape from me!" Adewale exclaimed before jumping right in front of him and try to use the circle of destruction on him, but Alvis lowered his head and gave him a cut on the face with the rapier, blinding him for a moment. "AGH!" Alvis then thought on how to get rid of him, but then had an idea that maybe could have helped him. Taking advantage of his situation, the mage of the Red Rose attacked Adewale with his elbow in order to push him against Cynthia, who was keeping on fighting Gordon. She was about to summon more blocks of ice, but she got hit by Adewale. "GAH!"

"Ngh…sorry, Cynthia…he caught me by surprise…" Adewale said as he stood up. Alvis on the other hand could reach his companion. "Alvis!" Gordon exclaimed. "These two are tough. You probably won't like this, but if we want to push them back, there's only one way…" Alvis told him.

"Don't worry. I'm used to have an ally. If you want to help me, you can do it. The more we are, the more chances we get to take them down!" Gordon replied.

"Ngh…it seems that they intend to team up…eheheh…" Cynthia spoke. "You're having fun with this or am I wrong?" Adewale asked her. "Well…I'm getting the chance to finally show myself to someone…and I don't intend to back up because of this!" The girl said, sounding excited. "I hope you are ready, Masters of the Red Rose! HERE I COME!" She then charged against them while holding her ethereal blade, followed by Adewale, who had shockwaves on his hands.

"AHAHAHAHAH! Come on, Saber of Red! Why don't you show me more?" Archer of Red exclaimed while shooting at him with the machine gun. The Servant of the Red Rose charged forward while deflecting the bullets quickly with his blade, devoid of any type of fear. When he reached him, he attacked him on the face with the blade before Archer of White blocked him with the coffin. "Maybe you have too many energies for an old man!" He commented. "What's the problem on enjoying the match…maybe a little too much?" Archer of White answered while turning the coffin in a chainsaw and answer to Saber of Red's sword. He was able to push it away and attack the enemy Servant on the shoulder, shredding his skin. "GAAAH! Ok, then! How about this!?" Saber of Red exclaimed before giving him two fists on the face in order to push him away and get back at his sword. He immediately dashed towards him and attacked. He realized that Archer of White was becoming stronger as the battle continued, so he had to attack as long as he could. He slashed repeatedly with the sword while Archer of White defended himself with the coffin, before turning it into a missile launcher and make a grin. "…Oh shit…" Saber of Red commented.

One second later, Saber of Red was already flying away after getting hit by a rocket, which caused a small explosion. When he stood up, he could see that Rider of Red jumped close to him while fighting Berserker of White. The two Servants of the Red Rose were leaning their backs one to the other while the Servants of the White Rose were coming closer. The Berserker with a furious expression while the Archer with a delighted one.

"You're not looking good, Rider dear…" Saber of Red told to her beloved one. "I think I've may have exaggerated…you're pretty messed up too, Saber darling!" Rider of Red answered. "Yeah, this foe is pretty tough!" The other Servant said. "To think that we would have ended up this close, just like the old times! You don't mind watching my back, right?" Rider of Red asked. "Well, I've already died for you once, so i don't mind fight on your side again, even if you made me betray my buddy. Ready?" Saber of Red answered.

"Ready!" Rider of Red exclaimed while the two Servants of the White Rose dashed towards them. In that moment, Saber and Rider of Red turned around and immediately switched their opponents with a smirk on their faces. Saber of Red attacked Berserker of White with his sword while Rider of Red whipped Archer of White's face. At this point, Berserker of White was too mad to care about his opponent and started to attack repeatedly Saber of Red with his claws, while Archer of White used the coffin as a chainsaw on Rider of Red, who moved away to dodge him.

"Woah slow down, lady! At least let me intro-" Saber of Red tried to calm her opponent down, but without effort since Berserker of White continued to attack him, forcing him to use his sword to defend himself. "Alright, I get it! TAKE THIS!" Saber of Red then said before delivering a punch on her face and start to counterattack with a combo of swords attack. "NGH! GET OUT OF THE WAY!" Berserker of White shouted before grabbing him from his hair and make him crash to the ground and then push him away with a kick. Saber of Red sounded satisfied by this, as he stood up while laughing. "HELL YEAH! THAT'S WHAT I WANTED! A BEAUTIFUL WOMAN THAT FIGHTS!" He exclaimed while charging against her with his sword.

Archer of White in the meantime shot at Rider of Red with the machine gun. The Servant of the Red Rose, in order to dodge the bullets, summoned a bull and started to ride it. In the end, Archer of White got run over by the bull and fell to the ground. Immediately after that, he turned his coffin to a missile launcher and shot a missile that attacked the enemy Servant. "AH!"

"What a nice explosion I've made! I'd give ten out of ten!" Archer of White commented. "Too bad that it didn't take me down, geezer!" Rider of Red exclaimed before shooting a laser beam from the gem on her crown that hit Archer of Red.

Meanwhile, Gordon, Alvis, Cynthia and Adewale were continuing their struggle, with the mages of the White Rose generating blocks of ice and pillars of cement to the mages of the Red Rose, who destroyed the spells by using the rapier and the fists. They then tried to attack directly, but with the help of the mystic eyes that predicted their moves, Cynthia took Adewale and herself out of their grasp. "Don't run now that you have showed me your skills!" Gordon exclaimed as his ruins started to glow clear blue all over his body. He then punched the ground and threw some debris that turned into explosive mines while Alvis supported him with wolves made of water that hit the two mages of the White Rose, making them recoil. "NGH! Anf…anf…there must be a way to stop them…now that they've joined forces, they're much troublesome…" Cynthia said. In that moment…Adewale remembered something…something that maybe would have helped them. "Maybe I know a way…it may sound rushed and risky, but me and my Servant will end this fight now!" He spoke. "Uh!?" Both Gordon and Alvis exclaimed.

With that, Adewale turned on her Servant. "Berserker! Use that attack!" He ordered. Berserker of White turned on her Master surprised. But she quickly nodded. "Alright, understood!" She said before jumping back. Saber and Rider of Red stood on guard, getting ready for whatever she was planning to, while Archer of White smirked. "Ooooh, so she's going to use that move." He spoke.

Berserker of White summoned her bow…and pointed it at the sky. "Tauropolos." With that simple word…she shot an arrow that turned into a gigantic cloud of darkness. The Masters and Servant of the Red Rose widened their eyes as they saw that amalgamate of dark energy…and then…they saw what was coming.

"Holy…shit…" Gordon spoke.

Thousands of arrows started to go down the field, destroying everything they saw. The two pairs of the Red Rose tried to escape as they could, but inevitably, some arrows hit them. "GAH!" Gordon got hit on the shoulders, Alvis on the legs, Saber of Red on the back and Rider of Red near the neck. Despite the pain, they continued to run away, trying to be safe "WE NEED TO GET OUT OF HERE BEFORE IT'S TOO LATE!" Alvis yelled.

"LEAVE IT TO ME, MASTER!" Rider of Red, seeing the situation, was forced to summon her carriage with two bulls. She quickly grabbed her Master and the other pair and started to run away from the temple, which was mostly damaged at this point.

The Masters of the White Rose could finally catch breath and lay down to rest while the Servants turned back to them. "Bravo, Berserker! You ended up the battle! Even if…I don't know if it is a good thing or a bad thing…I was starting to really enjoy it." Archer of White said. "It's better this way. It was impressive to see how much they've resisted." Berserker of White replied.

"Indeed…" Cynthia added. "You, too, seemed to have enjoyed the fight, Cynthia. For a moment, I could see a sparkle of excitement in your face." Adewale told her. Cynthia looked at him almost confused. "Did…did I?" She asked.

"Yes, you did. You even called that guy 'worthless scum'. And I liked it!" Archer of White replied. "Oh, whoops! Perhaps I got carried away! But…I'm feeling fine, overall…at least now they know that they'll fear me!" Cynthia said with a giggle.

"And you, Master? Are you ok?" Berserker of White asked. "Yes, thanks to you. I must say, Alvis impressed me. But we were still able make up a good show…even though…I wonder how the media will react to the damages we made here…" Adewale answered while looking around.

"The most important part, the temple, seems still intact…so I don't think it was a bad loss…too bad." Archer of White commented. "Sometimes I wonder what's on your mind, Archer…" Berserker of White told him. "It's a dilemma even for me!" The other Servant answered.

"Well…at this point there's nothing more to add. In the end, they've escaped, and I don't think it's a good idea to chase them at this point. Let's go back." Adewale then concluded.

While going away from the area of the temple…Cynthia turned around one last time. "Still…that Gordon was really tough…despite everything I threw at him…he still fought. But…I still showed him something…" She thought…she then grabbed the pendant with the globe…and smiled. "Yes…now I have the confirm that everything will change…"

Meanwhile, Rider of Red brought the others far away from the temple in order to make them rest. It was a tough battle for them…but at least they were able to get safely. Gordon was a little bit disappointed for the outcome, but after seeing Berserker of White's attack, he knew that it was the only way.

"Phew…for a second I thought that would have been the end for me…" Alvis commented while getting healing treatment from her Servant. "Thank you, Rider…you saved us." He added.

"Aw, you're welcome, Master. Perhaps I could get something more than a thanks…" Rider of Red commented, expecting a kiss. "Err…no." Alvis told her. "Aw come on! Well…at least I've hit that pussycat…and that's important for me." His Servant answered.

"To be fair…this battle was completely different from what I have expected. Who knew that old man was that powerful? I'm worried for our Archer now…that beautiful white angel may have to face that man one day. Plus…I've felt something strange in that man…especially when he started to sing." Saber of Red told his opinion about the battle. "Still…I've had a hell of a fun facing him! I hope we'll have a rematch in the future!"

"You can say that again. Even that girl surprised me…I wonder why she tried to negotiate with me I she knew all that stuff…tsk…women…so hard to understand. At least I've got what I wanted, and...i can say that i'm satisfied. " Gordon replied.

"I agree, Master! You showed the guts of a true warrior back there! We'll make great things together, I'm sure of it! Plus, don't make questions about women. Their mystery is that beauty!" Saber of Red told him. "Don't start again! But I can understand what you're saying about the both of us. Even if I'm doing my role, I still want it to do it in my own way." Gordon spoke before turning on Alvis. "You did well too, Alvis. What type was your opponent?" He asked.

"Well…we both did our best to not kill each other. But he really surprised me with his skills. He surely knows his stuff." Alvis replied. "Really? You should not think too much about this stuff. The only thought you should have in a fight…IS TO FIGHT!" Gordon told him. "That's right!" Saber of Red said before releasing a deep sigh. "And with this…we also know about their Archer and their Berserker. Surely, it's a step forward. I wonder what the others did at this point."

"Maybe they got lucky as well. Now that we know most of their Servants, we can know better of a strategy to make." Rider of Red answered. "Yeah…and that's the good news, at least for me. Still…it's a long way to go before the definitive victory." Alvis added.

"I don't care how long it will take. As long as do something that's fine for me. Well…I think it's time to go then. I really need a rest now…" Gordon said. "Let's go, Saber." He added before starting to leave with his Servant.

"H-Hey! Wait for me!" Alvis exclaimed while following them with Rider of Red. Another battle ended, as the night continued…but they didn't know that third fight actually happened there. And a…peculiar one.

Tokyo – Near Suidobashi Station– 14th April 2021 – 20.00 P.M

In another part of the city, near one of the stations, another Master of the Holy Grail War was preparing himself for an imminent battle.

Oeneus Animusphere was standing on the top of a car park building while wearing a particular armor of steel. Someone would have said that it looked like one of those costumes for the shows known as 'Tokusatsu' (Such as Ultraman or Kamen Rider). It was made of steel, but it was colored in white with black stripes that resembled lightnings, while the helmet had a red visor and a tip that remembered the fin of a shark. "Ok…that should do it…" He said to himself.

"What do you think, Master? Fits your style?" Caster of White asked. She was not there, so she was communicating with him from a far. "Not really. But as long as it makes me able to fight, I'll stick with it." Oeneus answered. "Meh…guess I'll have to talk with you more, then…" Caster of White commented.

"And what about you, Caster? Are you sure you don't want to support me?" Her Master then asked. "I'm not very good at fighting, so I'll just stay here and give you some tip for the battle. Don't worry, I made sure that armor can hurt other Servants, so you should be able to stand up against their Lancer. A genius like me always gets prepared for everything!" The Servant replied.

"Well…thanks in case…" Oeneus concluded. In that moment, he raised his head up in alarm, as he heard something. Footsteps. When he turned around…he could see them.

Calem and Lancer of Red arrived at the car park and started to look around. Oeneus didn't lose time and showed himself, covered in the new armor her Servant gave to him. "I'm here, Master of the Red Rose! Just like you wanted!" He exclaimed.

At first, Calem was confused due to the armor, so he asked for confirmation. "Is that you, Oeneus? What's that…thing you're wearing?"

"How strange…he's alone this time as well…" Lancer of Red noticed. "Yes, it's me. Don't mind the armor, it's the device I'll use to face both of you." Oeneus replied while standing on guard. "…Maybe I'm exaggerating with the lines…" He then thought.

"Hm? You sure you want to fight alone? Shouldn't your Servant…be with you?" Calem asked. In that moment…Lancer of Red felt something in the opponent…something that worried her, so she put herself in front of Calem, who slightly blushed for this. "L-Lancer?"

"Master…I don't know why but that guy has a lot of magical energy inside of him. Perhaps…it's better if I take him on." Lancer of Red told him while swinging her lance. "Wait, really?" Calem asked.

"Yes. Do you trust me?" Lancer of Red said while turning around with a smirk. "S-She smiled at me…" Her Master thought before quickly shaking his head. "Alright. I trust you, Lancer." He said before turning on Oeneus. "Very well, then. Time to show me what you can do, and I hope you'll surprise both of us!" He added.

"Yes! We're facing Lancer of Red, just like we wanted. She seems to be the biggest danger for now." Caster of White commented. "It's too soon to talk…maybe that guy has some spell that can put us in trouble…he was able to bring me to him through that lyre this morning." Oeneus told her. "Oh right…and it seems that he has no intention to fight at the moment…oh well. The enemy is coming. Good luck, Master!" The Servant of the White Rose concluded, with Oeneus nodding.

"Do your best, Lancer. I'm counting on you." Calem told her Servant.

The human and the Heroic Spirit looked at each other in silence for a couple of seconds…and then…when a leaf fell to the floor…they dashed against each other.

Lancer of Red went with her lance while Oeneus used his fists covered by the armor. When they've reached each other, they've generated an impact strong enough to make the floor crack. Then Oeneus used his fists to attack Lancer of Red, who moved her head to dodge them. She then rotated her lance and started to use several lunges, which Oeneus dodged by moving on the left and on the right.

"Amazing! This armor works!" The Master of the White Rose thought. "He seems to stay on the same level of Lancer thanks to that armor…but I doubt this is all his work…" Calem thought while looking the battle. He thought that something was not right…so he started to look around, trying to find something suspicious.

"You were able to dodge my attacks. How did you do it?" Lancer of Red asked. "And you think I'll tell you?" Oeneus answered before throwing another fist, which the servant blocked immediately with her hand. "Ah!"

"Now don't get cocky. You're still a human, remember it well." Lancer of Red said before lifting him up and throw him away against a wall. "GAH!" When Oeneus stood up, he could see that Lancer of Red was charging something from her lance. "CRAP!" He started to run away while the Servant shot a blue arrow of blue energy from her weapon that caused an explosion. Oeneus was able to get out in time, since the explosion was right behind him, he felt the impact and rolled down. But he quickly stood up and tried to run towards Lancer of Red, who used more lightnings of energy on him. By moving on the right directions, Oeneus was able to dodge them, reach Lancer of Red and give her a punch on the face. "NGH!" The Servant was surprised to see that the mage achieved such thing.

"I hit her!" Oeneus exclaimed, surprised as well. But in that moment, Lancer of Red simply made him fly away by hitting him with his tail. "GAH!" Oeneus shouted in pain. Lancer of Red wasn't done there, as she started to run at high speed to reach him. She then started to spin with her whole body and attacked the mage with both her lance and the spines on her tail.

Oeneus ended up falling to the ground, as the first cracks started to appear on the armor. "Dammit…" He commented. "Don't fall down so easily! Not now that you're starting to get me curious!" Lancer of Red told him with a delighted smile on her face.

Oeneus looked at her with rage and put his hand like he was holding a gun, shooting a bullet of darkness that blinded Lancer of Red for a moment. "Now!" Oeneus then started to shoot more bullets forcing the Servant to recoil. He then started to run and attack her with a chop, but Lancer of Red made a lightning movement to get behind him and stab him with the lance. "NGH!" Oeneus gritted his teeth for the pain before Lancer of Red sent him away with an arrow of energy.

"Anf…anf…" The Animusphere mage was laying down covered in smoke. "Man…despite this armor, she's still strong…if it wasn't for it, I would have probably been killed at this point…" He spoke. "Try a move that takes her by surprise, she could become more vulnerable!" Caster of White suggested. In the meantime, Lancer of Red was already getting closer while pointing at his heard with his lance. "I wonder what taste you'll have when I'll eat you." She spoke.

"Oh, trust me, I'm not that good!" Oeneus answered before quickly standing up and putting his palm on the Servant's belly and release some dark energy, pushing her back. "Ack! What the!?" The Servant exclaimed. Oeneus proceeded by using several fists to throw her away and made her slam against a wall. "Oh darn, it worked! I…I'm attacking a Servant, really?" He wondered. For all of his life, he always thought that he was an incompetent person…but now the impossible was happening. Was he dreaming? Was he imagining things? If not, how was that possible? He didn't know, but somehow, this brought excitement in him, as he started to run towards Lancer of Red, who was still laying on the ground.

"Take-" Oeneus was about to attack her, but suddenly, several strings blocked him, preventing every type of movement. "ARGH! What the fuck!? Where these strings come from!?" He exclaimed. He then turned around and could see Calem play his lyre. It was from that musical instrument that the strings came from. "Master!" Lancer of Red exclaimed, surprised. "I'm not letting you take advantage of my Servant. Lancer, attack!" Calem exclaimed. This gave the chance at Lancer of Red to get up and sent the enemy mage away with an arrow of energy. She then turned around. "You helped me. Perhaps you're really something, after all." She commented with an unexpected genuine smile.

This made Calem blush a little. "Come on, it's nothing. Let's focus on the battle for now." He said while trying to have his own attitude and hide his embarrassment. "It's clear that his Servant must be behind his strength. So, we need to find a way to make them come out of the closet." He added. "As long as he keeps on standing up, our focus will be on her. Unless you have something else to use, that is." Lancer of Red told him.

Calem thought about this…he had something that could have helped him…but first, he wanted to make sure he had to use it against Oeneus. "For now…let's see what he does." He simply spoke.

Oeneus, on the other hand, stood up and saw that now Calem was on his Servant's side. "Dammit…now I have two enemies…" He spoke. "And the fact that her Master uses musical instruments as magecraft can make him even more dangerous! Though a bard as an enemy is something surprising…anyways…try to find a key that makes both of them downgrade, it's the only way at this point!" Caster of White added.

"I just hope they're not plotting for something at this point…" Oeneus answered. He could then see that Lancer of Red was already dashing towards him and Calem was using the same enchantment of before. In that moment, the Animushpere mage thought of something. When he saw the strings coming towards him, he decided to grab them and pull them towards himself. This caused Calem to be pulled as well. "What!?" When the mage of the Red Rose was close to him, Oeneus grabbed him and forced Lancer of Red to stop and look at her opponent angrily. "Oh, so that's how things are now, uh?" She ironically said.

"That's right! Don't try to make any type of move or his head says bye-bye!" Oeneus answered. "Ngh! I must say, Oeneus…you're really surprising me! But don't think this is enough to put us down." Calem spoke. Even if he was pulled from the enemy by it, he was still holding the lyre on his hands, and with a single note, he created a pillar of energy that forced Oeneus to recoil. "Ack! Dammit!" The Animusphere mage exclaimed.

Lancer of Red didn't lose any time and dashed towards him, attacking repeatedly with his lance. Oeneus put his arms in front of him to defend himself, but the attacks were still strong, and several pieces of the armor were starting to break down. Oeneus could also notice that Lancer of Red was having an annoyed gaze on her face rather than her usual expression. Maybe taking her Master as a hostage probably made her angry. The Servant then tried to use one final blow, but Oeneus took the short time he was free from her grasp and shot a bullet of darkness that blinded the Servant. The mage of the White Rose could then run forward and attack with a barrage of punches, which ended with a double punch that made Lancer of Red recoil a few meters away. "Ngh!"

"The answers are becoming stronger…perhaps I'll be able to surpass her at this point!" Oeneus thought. A positive thinking, something unusual coming from him. "Ok…now I have the confirm. I must use that instrument…" Calem thought. "Lancer, find his Servant! I'll take care of him." He then said to his Servant. "What? Are you sure?" Lancer of Red asked.

"Yes. Trust me." Calem simply replied without turning around. "…Ok." His Servant said before jumping away from the two mages. "Hey! Come back here!" Oeneus tried to chase her, but Calem blocked his way. "I'm glad to see that you showed me something even you didn't have, Oeneus Animusphere. Look at you. You're starting to be more optimistic, and I really respect you as an opponent." He spoke.

Oeneus was surprised. It was already the second time Calem praised him. But he couldn't think of it now. "Enough, where are you going with this?" He asked.

"You see…it's because of this respect that I'm forced to use another resource against you." Calem simply answered…before taking another instrument. Oeneus knew already something was different with this, since Oeneus didn't take it from some bag, but he directly summoned it. And the second thing was that…this instrument was not a stringed instrument, but a wind one.

"A…flute?" Oeneus asked.

Calem put the flute in his mouth…and started to play it. A sweet melody came out of the instrument…but that same melody…turned out to be lethal for the mage of the White Rose.

"A-AH!" Oeneus's whole body started to tremble…as he slowly put his hands on his ears. He didn't understand. How could a melody like that hurt him that much? He didn't know. An unexpected agonizing pain that hurt him directly. Not on the brain…but on the soul.

"GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" The Animusphere mage released an agonizing yell of pain as the melody proceeded. It was like…a group of mermaids were singing directly on his soul. "GHHH! AAAAAAAAAAAARGH! STOP IT! WHAT IS THIS MELODY!?" He shouted.

"This is the Requiem Caeli. A melody that attacks directly the soul of the victim. It's the choir of the angels that directly welcome a new guess on the sky on heaven. No matter how you many times you try, you can't get out of it." Calem explained before continuing to play the flute.

"E-ENOUGH!" Oeneus said. His body trembled, but he still tried to run towards Calem to stop him, but he soon fell for the agonizing pain on his soul. He was now laying down, like a person victim of a heart disease. He wondered why Calem didn't do nothing when the battle had started. Now he knew why. He was seeing if Oeneus resulted a serious threat. And once he had the confirm, he used the flute to take him down.

"Forgive me for this. You've done well." Calem told him before playing one last note that released sound waves made of energy that attacked Oeneus and made him fall a few meters away. "GAAAAAAAAAAH!"

"Master! Resist!" Caster of White exclaimed. But in that same moment, she felt something coming closer. "Wait…what is this?" She wondered, and then…a wall was destroyed, showing Lancer of Red. This revealed that Caster of White was actually hiding inside another building and giving Oeneus information from afar. "Oh no…" She spoke.

"There you are, Servant of the White Rose. I knew that you couldn't be in spiritual form. If you were in that form, you would have stayed around your Master and I could have felt you. So I thought that you could have been around that park." Lancer of Red told her.

Caster of White started to sweat from her head. Now that she was exposed, she didn't know on how to proceed. "Oh man…the worst happened for real…guess I have no other choice…" She thought. Lancer of Red was already charging an arrow of energy from her lance, but when she shot it…Caster of White answered. She held her scepter and shot a laser beam from it, making the two attacks clash and collide in a small explosion.

"So, she could attack after all!" Lancer of Red commented. When the smoke came out, she could see that Caster of White jumped on the hole created before in the building and was reaching the car park through the use of a grappling hook.

Calem didn't do anything after the Requiem Caeli, as he saw that Oeneus didn't move anymore. But he got surprised to see Caster of White appear and put herself in front of her Master. "Oh! So you're his Servant!" He commented. Even Lancer of Red landed near her Master and looked at her opponent. "Finally, the opponent I was waiting for. I hope you'll turn out to be delicious!" She told her. "Don't think about food, now…" Calem commented.

"Caster…" Oeneus spoke while raising his head up. "I'm sorry, Oeneus…it seems that the armor wasn't enough. But don't worry! You have a genius on your side! Be happy! I'll take it from here!" Caster of White told him. The Animusphere mage looked at her in silence. He didn't like her at all due to her behavior, especially for how she behaved that morning. But…he knew that he had to grab on her for now. So at least…he wanted to know that she had his support. "…I'm counting on you." He simply spoke. This was enough to make his Servant smile and turn on the enemy.

"Very well, I think we can start round two." Lancer of Red said before dashing towards Caster of White. The Servant of the White Rose stood still, waiting for her enemy to come and clashed her scepter against the opponent's lance. Lancer of Red then proceeded to attack repeatedly with the lance, with Caster of White dodging her attacks by moving the head. Caster of White then opened her gauntlet and shot a freezing air. The Servant of the Red Rose simply moved to the left and made and attacked with her lance, sending Caster of White a few meters away. "OOF!"

The Servant of the White Rose clashed against a wall before standing up again. "Yeah…the problem is that…while I do have a lot of techniques, I don't have a strong body…" She thought. "But Master's safe comes first! So, I'll come out of this situation as well with a flawless style!" She then raised her gauntlet and shot it like a missile against Lancer of Red, who widened her eyes and defended herself with her lance. A small explosion followed, and when Lancer of Red opened her eyes, she could see in shock that Caster of White was already in front of her with what looked like a huge pile bunker on her arm. The Servant of the White Rose immediately delivered a heavy blow on Lancer of Red's belly, making her roll a few meters away.

"GH…she seems to have many devices at her disposal…no wonder how her Master could have an armor like that...she's probably their Caster." Lancer of Red noticed. Overall…this made her smirk. "Though I have to say…this is rather interesting. I hope you'll entertain me further!" She exclaimed before starting to shoot several arrows of energy. Caster of White answered by shooting several laser beams from her scepter. The two female Servants started to move around while shooting, hoping to take the other down. Since no one was prevailing, Lancer of Red started to rotate with both her lance and her tail and attack directly Caster of White. "AAAAAAARGH!" The Servant of the White Rose had to turn her gauntlet into a pile bunker again to get rid of her with a powerful blow. She then started to run and attack repeatedly with her scepter. Unfortunately, when it came to weapons, Lancer of Red was naturally the best one, so she didn't use much energy to block Caster of White's attack and counterattack with a parry. She then used a horizontal cut that forced Caster of White recoil "NGH! Just like I thought…" She spoke.

"Now!" Lancer of Red was going to charge her with the lance, but at the last moment, Caster of White shot a beam from her scepter that sent the Servant of the Red Rose away. "Gh! Dammit!" She exclaimed.

"Nope! Not done yet!" Caster of White replied while attacking with her scepter, this time succeeding.

Calem in the meantime, was watching the two Servants fight. "Impressive…even the Caster of White is someone unusual." He commented. And then… "BLARGH!" He had to spit blood after he felt someone punching him in the back. When he turned around, he could see Oeneus glaring at him. "O-Oeneus!" Calem exclaimed.

"TSEAH!" With stunning velocity, Oeneus quickly pushed Calem's flute away and then gave a punch on his chin, making him fall to the ground and lose his glasses. "I think you've forgot someone!" Oeneus exclaimed while standing up despite his injuries.

Even if his enemy was still standing, Calem smiled. "Heh…look at you! You've caught me by surprise! And then you say that you're-" He was going to talk, but Oeneus stopped him with a punch on his face.

"NO TIME FOR TALK!" The Animusphere mage said before giving more punches that pushed the enemy away. Without the instruments, Calem wasn't good on fighting, but Oeneus's last move gave him a chance to get out of that situation, as he looked to his lyre, which was laying down. The mage of the White Rose widened his eyes since he knew what Calem was planning. "OH NO YOU DON'T!" He tried to reach the lyre first, but it was already too late.

"Right back at ya!" With the lyre on his hands, Calem started to play, and the strings surrounded Oeneus's body yet again. "NGH! NOT AGAIN!"

"This is the end." Calem spoke before playing one note on one string. That string got filled with energy until it reached Oeneus, ultimately destroying his damaged armor. "GAAAAAAAAAH!" The Animuspere mage ended up falling from the car park.

"MASTER!" Caster of White exclaimed before getting surrounded by a cube made of energy, generated by Lancer of Red. "Oh no…" She added.

Lancer of Red simply closed her hand, and the cube converted in an explosion that made Caster of White fall. Now, the battle was over.

Calem and Lancer of Red looked down to the spot where Oeneus and his Servant fell. "They're probably alive…the outcome of this fight was probably already settled from the beginning, but…I admit that they've surprised me…" The Servant said her opinion. "Yeah…I agree. To think that he would have still fought even after the Requiem Caeli…not many were able to achieve such feat. Well…I'm glad…maybe this helped him." Calem answered.

Lancer of Red looked at her Master in silence. He still wondered why Calem was so interested in that mage…but in the end…she made a smile. "Well…he did have potential, in the end. So, you were right. Plus, you've impressed me with those instruments! The melodies you've played were also nice…would you mind…if you play them again when we go back?" She then asked.

Calem stood silent…before turning red. "I-If you're ok, I mean…" He simply said. "What's gotten with him? He seemed braver this morning…" Lancer of Red thought. "Oh well…let's go back. We've done our duty." She then said before starting to leave. After he got out of his embarrassment, Calem looked down one last time…and then followed his Servant.

Meanwhile, Oeneus and Caster of White were at the foot of the building, with the Servant slowly standing up. "Man…we lost…at least we are still alive…right, Master?" The Servant asked. "Y-Yeah…anf…anf…" Oeneus said while breathing heavily because of his injuries. "I…I really need to lay down somewhere more comfty…seriously…what a shitty day…" He added.

"…Ok…perhaps the chat will be for when we turn back…here…" Caster of White concluded before grabbing her Master and start to leave.

Tokyo – White Rose Headquarter – 14th Aprlil 2021 – 23.00 P.M

When Oeneus and Caster of White turned back to the headquarter of the White Rose faction, they could see that there were other members that were resting. "Uh?"

"Well, well! Look who we have here. The marvelous genius and his Master. And they seem pretty messed up." Archer of White said.

"Yeah…it's a long story." Oeneus simply replied. "Hmmm…I assume that you have lost." Cynthia deduced. "Don't worry…it's ok. This is only the beginning of the war after all. Maybe you'll have another chance." Adewale added.

"…Thanks, Ade. Maybe…you're right. Something unexpected happened tonight…I was…able to fight." Oeneus answered. "Well…it's only natural. You're a mage too after all." Tygo told him. The Animusphere looked at him and simply sighed, showing that he didn't like that affirmation. "…You wouldn't understand." He spoke.

Even Seram was there, looking at the window in silence. Saber of White was in his spiritual form as always. "She's…here too?" Oeneus asked. "She's probably resting too, Master." Caster of White told him. "She said that she had battled against a Master of the Red Rose and won. But she had to retreat because of another mage's intromission. Ever since she came…she stood silent." Adewale explained.

"Meh…like always. Well…with a Servant like our Saber it's hard to lose after all…" Oeneus commented. "Saber said that his opponent showed some resistance after all. Judging by the looks of everyone…it seems that our enemies are tough after all." Rider of White said. "Yeah…at this point we've all faced them at least one time, right?" Tygo then asked.

"That's right. We were lucky enough to see all of their Servants as well. Now we need to find out their identities…and a way to take them down." Maximilian suggested. "With the results we made tonight, I'm optimistic. It's true that we were forced to leave the battlefield…but we still have our skills and our strength. I'm still sure that the situation is at our advantage." Cynthia said. "She does seem motivated after today's encounter…" Archer of White thought while looking at her. "Hmhmhm…that's just perfect."

"I suppose that you did quite a number today, Cynthia Rosi…" Oeneus said. "Indeed. I've met someone as well with Adewale. I've showed him what I could do…even if…he was able to answer." The Rosi mage replied while looking her trembling hand which she closed to a fist. Even her voice had…a slight tone of frustration. "Hmm? Are you ok?" Oeneus asked. "…It's nothing." Cynthia simply replied to cut the discussion.

"And you, Caster? How did it go?" Berserker of White asked. "Well, we do made a strategy that worked but…they were stronger. We met their Lancer, a girl with a long tail." Caster of White replied.

"Lancer…we met their Saber and their Rider…while…Seram met their Assassin." Berserker of White said. "Yes…we did meet all of them…and this makes me think that the real battles still have to begin." Adewale added. "To be honest I can't wait. I've let my guard down last time, and I'll make sure it won't happen again!" Maximilian commented. "Me too, darling. I still need to have my rematch against that little Archer! I can't wait…" Assassin of White added while holding a cup with a green liquid on it.

"Hmmmm…everyone seems motivated…I guess that's fine…" Oeneus thought. Then, without a word, he left, with Caster of White following him. Even Seram stood up and left.

"Why did they leave?" Adewale wondered. "They're probably tired, Master…you should get some rest, too." Berserker of White told him. "Yeah…I think I'll probably do it soon. Thanks again for your work today, Berserker. We made our enemy retreat thanks to you." Her Master said.

With that, the half-animal Servant looked at the window with a neutral expression. "Y-You told me to use that attack. But…you're welcome." She simply spoke. "We do have a tsundere here, right?" Archer of White jokingly said. "Shut up." The other Servant quickly said.

"Ok, enough. Still…I find it surprising that there was actually someone between the enemies who thinks in a similar way to mine. I've also felt like there was…some sort of connection between us during that battle." Adewale then remembered his battle with Alvis. "I can understand how you feel. But…if I may give a suggestion…you shouldn't think too much about it. It's important for us to win this war and obtain the Holy Grail. If you start to affectionate to one opponent, they could take advantage of it and take you down. You have a wish too, right?" Cynthia told her.

Adewale looked at her in silence for some seconds before turning on the window and look at the panorama of the castle. Cynthia's word about his wish made him think of something that hurt him even too much on the past. A feeling that he wanted to erase as soon as possible. A scar that he wanted to make disappear. "…Yeah…I understand what you say. Still…see him as only an enemy is wrong for me. The best for me would be to…take him out of the war and then start to talk with him after all of this is over." He then explained.

"Heh…you surely are a weird one, Ade. But that's ok. As long as we do what is possible to win this conflict." Cynthia concluded.

"…Oh well. I'm going to my bedroom, now. I need some rest after what happened tonight." Adewale said. "Yeah…we're going too. Me and my beautiful Assassin are going to have some fun tonight…" Maximilian added with a luxurious tone. "Oh, Master…" Assassin of White answered while the two of them left.

"Oh dear…" Tygo commented. "We go too, anyways…we should spare energies for tomorrow." He then said. "Good night, guys." Rider of White said while she and her Master left.

"Oh well…shall we go too, Berserker?" Adewale asked, with her Servant nodding. "Good night, guys." The Nwadike mage concluded before leaving.

And so, in that room…only Cynthia and Archer of White were left, looking at the outside from a long window. "I must say…I'm feeling proud of you, Master." The Servant then said.

"For what?" Cynthia asked. "For listening to me. What that Gordon guy said and did paralyzed you for a moment, but you prevailing over all of that is a stunning success. You should think of it carefully. I also liked how you dived yourself in the battle. The part when you whistled gave me goosebumps!" Archer of White answered with his typical tone.

"You say so? Well…I just wanted to stay perfectly balanced with both body and spirit. And I was just getting tired of that situation. You made me remember what I should have done from the beginning, Archer. Even you were enjoying the battle from what I saw…" The mage then said. Archer of White chuckled. "That was just little old me. It may not look like that, but I still have the spirit of a young bull. Plus, that big boy was entertaining me a lot. I was even surprised to see that his Master actually gave me a good punch! I didn't know Masters evolved in such an amusing way! Ahahah!" He answered before making a deep sigh. "In short…we could say that we enjoyed this bizarre day, don't we?"

"…Yes. Indeed." Cynthia simply replied. And yes, she did feel better that day. Somehow, the confrontation with Gordon made her feel more at ease for the war, even if the thought of being pushed back by him still made her annoyed. She thought that she was going somewhere…but she still didn't put enough effort into it. But for now…it was better to not think about it…and just enjoy the moonlight.

Meanwhile, Seram was heading to her room, when she saw Isak standing right in front of her door, waiting for her with a welcoming smile. "I'm home…boss." She simply said.

"You've done well, dear Seram. You did a good job on let your power flow on your body and did quite a number on that homunculus! It was just a shame that Tohsaka mage arrived. The idea that our first victory was for you would have made me happy." Isak told her.

"…That homunculus…was strange…they are copies of humans…right?" The girl then asked. "Indeed. But who knows…maybe he's a particular case? But don't worry…his uniqueness is nothing compared to your sense of self-justice. I sense that you want to meet him again. But be patient…he will probably come to you after what happened tonight. And for that occasion…remember to let go of your power…and make them all pay. I'm sure this is what you want…right?" Isak replied with a grin.

"…Yes." Seram simply answered with a cold tone.

"Good. Now rest, Seram. Have a good night." Isak concluded before leaving. Seram looked at him…and then entered inside his room. As always…she put her back on the wall and laid down. "…That homunculus…he's repulsing…he annoys me…i…want him dead." She spoke.

Even Saber of White appeared and sat down. "Another person to hate, huh?" He spoke. Seram simply nodded. In that moment…she slowly turned her head towards her Servant. "…Thank you for taking me back then. That's all."

"I do without your thanks." Saber of White simply replied.

Seram didn't sleep…she looked at the ceiling with her usual sense of void…even though…what she had saw…what she had felt…and who she had fought with…made her think of a lot of things.

In another room, Oeneus was laying down on his bed while Caster of White was adjusting her desk. "Hey…Caster." The Animusphere mage suddenly said. "Why do you think…that guy wanted to talk so friendly with me? Do you think…he was doing all of that on purpose?" He then asked.

"Hmmm..that's a good question indeed. He could have thousands of reasons for that. Even with my knowledge, I think that the human's mind is one of the greatest dilemmas of the world. For now, we can deduct from what he said. Perhaps…he was pushing you to answer. And that's…unexpectedly kind from him…he saw that you were pressured by the whole situation that he wanted to help." Caster of White explained.

"That's the weirdest part that I still don't understand. We're enemies, why would he help an enemy!? Doesn't this make things only worse for him?" Oeneus wondered.

"Well…you have to consider that his ways actually worked. You…seem to have become more motivated today." Caster of White told him. Oeneus was silenced. This time, he didn't know how to react, because…she was right. "…About that…I don't really know if it was just a case…or if it will happen again. For me…it is difficult to have a change." He spoke.

"Eheheh, you cannot say it at all. As long as you don't try to make an effort! People have to struggle to get what they want! They cannot have it immediately. If you really say you are the worst, then why don't try something new that can make you turn into something completely different? Something…that is not you?" Caster of White suggested.

"You do like to talk like that, uh Caster?" Oeneus asked with a sceptic face. "It's just natural for someone like me." The Servant replied with a giggle.

"Oh well…I'm getting tired…oh right! Before that…just to be clear, I still not like your attitude. But I still owe you a thanks. Not only you helped me with the armor…but you also defended me when I was laying down. So…thank you." The Animusphere mage added.

"Glad to hear that from my Master! Well…good night then. I'll go to my laboratory now." Caster of White concluded before leaving. Oeneus stood in his bed. He still felt weird for all the stuff that happened that day. So for now…he just wanted to sleep.

Soon…most of the lights turned off on the castle of the White Rose Headquarter.

Tokyo – Red Rose Headquarter – 14th April - 23.25 P.M

Even back at the headquarter of the opposite faction, the Red Rose, the members needed some rest after the many battles that occurred, and of course, after explaining the situation to Marcus.

"A giant Servant made of fire, you say…" The leader of the Red Rose spoke.

"Do you know someone like him perhaps?" Kazuto asked. "Hmmm…there are many creatures of various mythology that correspond to this description…perhaps I'll try to do some research tomorrow." Marcus replied.

"Judging by what you said…it must have been really powerful, Cahya. And the one we fought was pretty tough as well. Man, now I'm really curious." Gordon commented. "Me too! And to think that it is a Saber! My opponent!" Saber of Red added.

"So Cahya had met their Saber…while I met their Caster…and then Gordon and Alvis met their Archer and Berserker." Calem then spoke. "Which means that…we've met them all, right?" Astrea asked. "Indeed, Master. We could say that the introductions are over." Caster of Red answered to her.

"That's right. Tomorrow we all shall decide for a new strategy to put in act. But…it has been an exhausting day for everyone, I suppose. So…we can stop here. I'll…go at home and think about what to do." Marcus then concluded before leaving. Before exiting from the house…he made a deep sigh. It was clear that he was thinking about something, but he didn't want to talk now. "…Good night, guys." He spoke before leaving.

The remaining members stood there… "If even Marcus is concerned…then the situation is much worse than we expected." Alvis commented. "Maybe it's just for tonight. He might feel better tomorrow, since…he's so self-confident." Astrea replied.

"Well…surely three battles in one night weren't something that he expected…" Kazuto said. In that moment, Archer of Red turned on Saber of Red. "You said that you faced their Archer, right? What type of Servant was he?" She asked out of curiosity. "He was weird. An old man that carried a multi-use weapon and that is really tough." The other Servant replied.

"You should be careful about his Master as well, Kazuto." Gordon then advised. "Really?" The Tohsaka mage asked. "Yes…it seems that she has something related with time. I was enough to put her down, but I'm concerned about you." The Fragarthach mage answered.

"Thanks…I guess…" Kazuto answered with a drop of sweat in his head. "I was able to win my battle with that Oeneus and his Caster. I was glad that the boy was able to stand up and put up a good show. But of course, our victory comes first, so I had to beat him. And unfortunately, next time I'll make sure to ultimately defeat him." Calem explained while playing his guitar. "Their Caster was rather different than the usual, like our one." Lancer of Red added.

"You said something about many weapons and devices, right? It makes me think as some sort of contrast between us. She's more of a technical Servant while I'm a more practical one. I wonder what type of match would come out." Caster of Red said. "You said that you were happy for your opponent, right? It makes me think of…what happened with me last time…is this type of empathy really possible?" Astrea then wondered.

"I think it's possible. Even with my opponent I've felt some sort of connection. But I couldn't betray my group after all. At least I'm glad to see that there is a good person among their ranks." Alvis answered. "Oh, if you say so…" Astrea added.

"It seems that you got your ass beat up…" Rider of Red said, looking at Assassin of Red. "You're not even looking good right now!" Assassin of Red countered.

"Stop it." Both Alvis and Cahya promptly said. "…Fine." Both Servants replied.

"Well…it's starting to get late. Me and Saber need some rest if we want to get ready for another battle." Gordon said as he stood up and prepared to leave. "Hey, Gordon…have a good rest, ok?" Alvis told him. "Yeah. You too. Bye, y'all." The mage replied before leaving. "Have a good night! Make an heavy sleep!" Saber of Red added.

"Bye honey!" Rider of Red saluted. "Yeah…we should go too by the way…Rider, don't try to make some silent advances on me tonight!" Alvis told her. "Dammit…" The Servant said.

With that, even Alvis and Rider of Red left, leaving only three pairs in there. "We should go too, Master." Archer of Red told Kazuto. "I know, my mother is probably still awake waiting for me…" He spoke. He then turned on the homunculus. "Are you sure you can handle it?" He then asked.

"Yes. Don't worry. My healing spells will help me recover during the night." Cahya answered. "Thanks for the concern."

"And in case, I'll stay with him. So, there's nothing to worry!" Assassin of Red added with a smile.

"Eheh! Glad to hear it! Well..there's nothing more to say at this point…do you want to go together, Kazuto?" Calem then asked.

"I like the idea." Kazuto replied with a smile.

After leaving the headquarter to Cahya, the two mages and their Servant started to go towards the station in order to come back home. "Man…what a day…and what a war this is becoming." The Artel mage spoke.

"The greatest yet smallest event in human's history. In such less time…we already see unexpected things. I've got used to see this war in a completely different way. To be honest, I would have never expected that some of you would have felt empathy on our enemies. I'm not saying that it is wrong, but…it's strange." Kazuto spoke.

"Don't worry. I did not expect it too. But…that guy surprised me a lot. It was just that I've wanted to see more of him…that's why I acted in that way. Who knows? In different circumstances we could have ended up becoming friends." Calem replied. "Judging from his words, it's clear that he wants you dead, Master." Lancer of Red told him. "Ahah! I know, I know. I'm just saying." Her Master said with a laugh. "Anyways…despite this, I still know what our priority is. I have a wish to ask too."

"Eheh…yeah, Me too." Kazuto replied before looking at the stars. "Is there something wrong, Master?" Archer of Red asked. "I was just thinking of what happened today with Cahya. Seeing that Servant…actually scared me for a moment. Even his Master…seemed really strange. It was not surely something I would have expected from this war." The Tohsaka mage explained.

Archer of Red made a sigh and then looked forward. "I know…in times of war, many unexpected things can happen. But the only thing to do…is to keep fight no matter what." She spoke.

"Really? How can you say that?" Kazuto asked. "I've been a war veteran too, Master. I surely know more things than you do!" Archer of Red replied. "H-Hey!" Kazuto exclaimed, feeling a little bit offended. "Meh…this makes me curious about your identity. But I'll respect your privacy."

"You don't know your Servant's true identity?" Calem asked, surprised. "No. She said that it's something she doesn't tell anyone that easily. But I can understand that." Kazuto simply replied. "Kazuto doesn't seem to bother with this, so our connection works pretty well for the moment." Archer of Red added.

"Well…if you're fine with it…oh, look. There's the station…" Lancer of Red said before she and Archer of Red turned to their spiritual form.

And so…Kazuto and Calem took the train that would habe brought them home. While Calem sat down and listened to some music on the phone, the Tohsaka mage looked at the window…covered in thoughts.

"There are many troublesome enemies on the other side of the faction…if I want to win the grail…I need to find the right way to answer…if…I want to see her again." He thought. And the train…continued to move.

Tokyo – Church on the hill – 15th April 2021 – 0.00 A.M

Kanashimi stood on the altar of his church…while looking at a chessboard that had fourteen pieces, seven red, and seven white. And on the center…stood a golden cup. "…The warriors have encountered each other now…" He spoke before looking at the image of Christ on the cross. "I wonder…what the lord has in store for them…what…sorrow…"

And with this we're done! Wow, this surely had been a long chapter, hasn't it? But at least It turned out to be fun to do even if hard to make! Making three battles in a row was a really hard challenge to make, and in order to release the chapter I've even had to cut something, but I could say that I was able to put what I wanted to put. I think the greatest challenge was to make different outcomes for each battle and avoid the same ending for all of them, which was something that luckily, I was able to do. Listening to music also helped a lot in the realization of this big chapter! And now, if you wonder why it took so long, it was because for two week I unexpectedly turned lazy and wrote very little for my stories. Then, when I've started to go back to a serious work, I've focused on my Adventure 04 story. And then in these last four days of October I was able to complete this chapter!

With this said, I, of course leave the last word to you! What do you think of the chapter? Did you like it? How were the three battles that occurred? Did you like the transposition of your OCs? Let me know in your reviews! Your opinion is important.

And now I think I'll have a day of rest starting Bleach (I was really curious about it). I hope you passed a happy Halloween, and we'll see you next time with the next chapter.
