Chapter 107

Bikers

"So where are we?" Allison asked.

Jesse touched both of her breasts.

"We are freezing our nipples off in the cold darkness." Jesse said.

Cameron stated the obvious which did not yield much.

"We are in building that is in the desert." Cameron said.

That was the only fact that she knew for sure at this point.

Vanna was afraid of the answer but she asked anyway.

"Which desert?" Vanna asked.

She hoped it wasn't the Gobi or Sahara.

"We are in the Mojave Desert. There is a supply and arms cache that John Henry established which is not too far from here. That's if this is the same timeline. I will go there and retrieve clothing and weapons for us." Cameron said. "It should have all the supplies we need. I will bring back water and some survival bars. I will attempt to procure transportation. We are only a few hours from home if we are in the same timeline. We need to make sure. We don't want to alter any other timelines if we can help it."

Cameron wasn't sure what they would do if this was a different timeline. She might have to construct her own TDE and see where she could get them to. She only knew she did not want to disrupt another timeline, especially if they were all in it.

She was aware that if this was a different timeline and 'she' was in it that it was going to be a problem. 'That Cameron' or version of her may perceive them as a threat and terminate all of them. They may also be seen as Skynet infiltration units that were sent to replace the others already in that timeline. She knew she was going to need to be very careful.

The girls pictured Cameron running naked across the desert. Her perfect figure lit by the moonlight.

"So are we supposed to stay in this empty building and remain naked until you get back?" Allison asked. "We should go with you. What happens if the time bubble reappears? What happens if we run into trouble?"

That thought made Vanna worry too.

"Alison is right." Vanna said. "Look at us."

Cameron looked at the three naked girls. They all looked beautiful. This was the present day time period they were in even if it wasn't the same timeline. There should not be any Scavengers to worry about. There could be other troublemakers of some kind. She worried about where she needed to go and the girls getting torn up feet or worse if they tried to accompany her. She could go there to get the goods and return faster than they could get there on foot with the girls in tow.

"The arms cache is miles from here. It is cold outside now. It is warmer in here. I will see if I can get you heat. There is water and a restroom." Cameron said. "I don't know what to say about the energy bubble. I don't think it is coming back this time. Everything feels 'normal' again to me."

Cameron did not know that for a fact but it seemed that way to her. If it did come again and they missed it they could end up trapped here in whatever timeline this was.

"That is nice to know. The jungle timeline we were briefly in did not look very promising." Jesse said. "I was really worried about running into a dinosaur."

Allison didn't think that battle raging around them in the future timeline was safe either.

"That future we stopped in looked like it sucked." Allison said. "Good riddance to that place."

Vanna found something more intriguing. It was someone who looked like her lover. More accurately it was someone who looked like both of the women she loved, Allison and Cameron. She would like to know a little more about her.

"What about that girl that looked like Allison and you? Did she come back with us?" Vanna asked. "I was sure I saw her for awhile. It looked like she was with us when we left."

Cameron did not know if an 'extra person' in the energy bubble would have some negative effect on them. It was bound to change something. The girl was not here now.

"I can't tell. I saw her as well for a time but there was no one else here when I rebooted." Cameron said. "I did not see any evidence she was here. It would be wrong to take her from her timeline. I hope we did not. I do not even know how we saw those timelines but ended up here. I am more worried about the months that have passed since we left."

"So all that happened and we have been gone less than five minutes from when we actually left." Allison said.

Cameron checked her internal time.

"That is correct. We were at the base four minutes ago in real time for us but where we are now is several months in the future from when we left." Cameron said.

Cameron was clearly upset and distraught. She knew a lot can happen in a few months. She saw what could happen in just a few days with John and Riley before. John was able to shove her aside and replace her with Riley and share with Riley so quickly. She noted her hand now began to glitch. John did what he wanted right in front of her face and he didn't care how she felt about it. Why did he rub it in her face like he did?

"No one could have known Riley would show up at the last second." Allison said.

The girls noticed Cameron's hand. Now all of them were worried about her. It was evident she was on her way to a 'melt down' unless they could redirect her thoughts.

"I thought I wanted to never exist and no power in the verse could make me want to stay." Cameron said. "Love alone could not keep me. It was the combination of love and hate, which is jealousy that made me want to stay. That is what has brought me here. It has brought me back. It has brought all of US back. You don't know how much it means to me that you all came with me. I promise to make that up to you one day the best way that I can. I promise."

Cameron knew what the girls 'wanted'. She was not closed to that idea. That could happen at some point. She was not ready for that journey yet.

The three girls looked at each other; they knew what Cameron meant.

Cameron could tell they understood. She would figure out something. These were truly her friends. They were people who cared about her and loved her. It did not matter to them that she was 'different'. It did not matter to them that she was a machine. They all loved her for who she was. The fact she was a scary robot from the future did not matter to them. All of that meant something to Cameron. It was pure honest love. The girls never threatened to burn her up with Thermite or insulted her or made fun of her. There were no threats of termination from them. She wanted to make her position and offer clear.

"You all gave up everything for me." Cameron sobbed. "I will make it up to you all one day. I promise."

Jesse did not like to see Cameron distressed.

"Cameron, you are our 'everything'." Jesse said.

Vanna could feel Cameron's pain.

"We are one, Cameron, us four. We are one." Vanna said.

Allison believed they were meant to be together.

"It looks like it's one for all and all for one." Allison said.

The women shared a hug.

"This is one way to keep warm." Allison said.

Cameron wanted to get started. The sooner she got started the quicker she could be back with the supplies. She'd spotted a few things in the building when she looked around earlier.

"I must leave to get our supplies." Cameron said. "I will see if the electric heater will function in the office. Go in there and wait. There are some old tarps in there."

Cameron went to the fuse box and was able to get the electricity on in the small office of the building before she left. The girls would have a little heat now. She tried to make the girls as comfortable as possible.

She headed off into the desert at a fast pace. The girls depended on her. They gave up everything for her. She needed to protect them. She needed to provide for them. Maybe there was something she could provide to them that they all wanted. If they were marooned here in the wrong timeline she would want companionship too. It looked like a win - win for all of them. Time would tell. She was ready to evolve her sexual experiences.

The girls discussed the events and adventures that so far occurred. They all talked about the three different places that they went to. They talked about what they would have done in each one. It didn't really matter. They were here now and time would tell where and when that was. They all seemed to be fixated on the last place they 'visited'. It was because of that girl they saw. She touched and captivated all of them.

"What did that girl say her name was?" Jesse asked. "She looked like Allison and Cameron."

Allison tried to remember. It was something about water like a stream or something.

"I think it was something like Brooke or Ri…" Allison started to say.

The ground began to vibrate with an ever growing thunderous roar.

"What is that noise?" Jesse interrupted.

It was very loud and getting louder.

"It sounds like engines." Vanna said.

Allison recognized the irritating sound.

"It's motorcycles." Allison said.

Fear surged through Vanna. She looked out the window and saw a biker gang and a pick up truck approaching their location fast.

"Oh NO!" Vanna said. "It is a motorcycle gang. They are like Scavengers. We need to get out of here or hide, NOW."

Fear gripped all the girls. They knew what Scavengers did to their captives before they killed them. The bikers would be no different. They'd all seen the TV shows and watched the news reports. There were all kinds of shootings and stabbings. People were beat to death and others were drug behind motorcycles until bloody bones were all that was left.

"Great, we are three hot naked women without weapons and no place to go." Allison said.

Jesse turned off the heater. She hoped that no one would notice it was on if anyone checked.

"We need to hide until Cameron gets back." Vanna said. "Get moving, NOW. We need to get out into the desert. Cameron will be able to find us when she returns. If we are caught in here like this you know what will happen."

Jesse and Vanna had been captives in Scavenger camps before. They worried how it was going to 'damage' Allison. She didn't know what it was like even if they'd told her. This was a whole group of bikers. They would all take a 'turn'. Then it would all happen again and then again to each of them.

The girls moved to the door. They were going to try and make a break for it.

The motorcycles began to circle the building.

"We can't even run into the desert now." Allison said. "They are all around us."

This seemed like the middle of nowhere to Jesse.

"Why are they here?" Jesse asked. "What do they want?"

Vanna saw on the news that biker gangs sold drugs to make money. They were known for setting up 'meth labs'. There were toxic and highly flammable chemicals used in the process.

"They might be setting up a drug lab or be here to party." Vanna said. "It is probably both."

Allison looked at their naked bodies.

"Great, if they find us, guess who is on the party menu." Allison said.

Jesse already pictured a line forming in front of her as she was held down on the floor. It would be one after another. It would happen to all three of them.

"I never thought I would have to go through 'that' again." Jesse said.

Both Jesse and Vanna absent mindedly touched their scars as they remembered.

"We need to hide, fast." Allison said.

Cameron heard the bikers in the distance. She saw where they were headed. She knew she needed to turn back to go help her friends, the women she loved. Cameron could not intercept one of the bikes so she would have to do it the hard way on foot. It was going to take awhile to get back to the abandoned building. Cameron hoped she would not be too late.

Cameron knew what was about to happen. She did not think she would make it back in time. She did not know what she would find when she did. The fury, rage and hate in Cameron took control. In that moment Cameron reverted from 'almost human' to a savage wild beast. She planned to kill every one of the bikers. She was a Terminator….

Animal Genes

The animal genes rule
Survival instincts thrive

With the things we do
It is a wonder we are still alive

When we look below the surface
From our very animal selves we derive

We are never at the destination
When we think we arrive

Our mind says STOP
But the animal we can not deprive

It surges ahead haphazardly
Stirring up events like a bumped bee hive

The animal will not allow retreat
Under duress or never ending shrive

Away from life we recoil
Like a submarine in a crash dive

Our heart and mind seek love
So yet another attempt we contrive

We think we are in control
But the animal within seeks to survive

We can not contain the animal feelings
Slain many times the Hydra will revive

Everything doomed to disaster
No matter for what our heart and mind strive

Nobody
