Look out, prisoners of Stalag 13. Sicktember is upon us and your immunity is way down. This is an alphabetical drabble collection in response to the tumblr Sicktember challenge.

1. A is for Ambulance

A is for Ambulance

"Stay off the roof, I said, but did you listen? No!" Newkirk snapped. He jolted in his seat as the sirens resumed whining and the wheels spun away. "Now who's going to look after you? Me, I suppose!"

"I'm fine," a supine LeBeau said, teeth clenched.

"Tell that to the bone sticking out your leg."

LeBeau blanched and changed the subject. "Ces't une Citroën 23. Sale Boche!"

"What're you on about?" Newkirk's eyes rolled.

"They seized our military vehicles after they invaded."

"Then you're in a proper French ambulance, ain't ya?"

Sometimes Newkirk actually did know how to calm LeBeau.
