Author's note: Mike is full of anger like Cassidy and it's understandable, his Dad put him through a lot of abuse in this AU (Post and Pre Sister Location) and this will be elaborated more on later. Also Mike isn't OOC because he kind of doesn't have a confirmed personality but I used what I know from the Freddy files books and my own interpretation.

Location: Utility Tunnels

Time: 10:11pm

Gregory explained everything he knew to the two ghosts in front of him for several minutes, never pausing once to take a breather. Gregory remembered that he had learned about ghosts from a book that was given to him by Vanny. It told him that ghosts were people's souls that couldn't pass on to the afterlife, clinging to the world of the living because they felt like there was something that they needed to complete before they crossed over and Gregory could only assume that these men were unable to cross over because of something William did to them in the past and now, they were directing their fury towards, ironically, a copy of the man himself.

"...And that's about everything I know. I swear." Gregory finished, huffing as though he had just run from another animatronic.

"So let me get this straight: You are a clone of William that was born recently in some kind of...container?"

Gregory nods at the man called 'Mike'.

"And the real William Afton," The man in the red jacket continues Mike's summary/question, "is now possibly in the Pizzaplex's Security System and has sent the animatronics along with this 'Vanny' or 'Vanessa' woman after you so that he can possess you and have a new body to continue killing people with?"

Gregory nods again but this time, towards the red jacket man.

"Jesus Christ." Mike swears, groaning and rubbing his temple. "What a mess... I thought this would finally be over but NOPE you somehow came back after being burned alive. Again!".

Micheal approaches Gregory, going closer to him. A bit too close in fact.

"Well, now that we know everything...what to do with you?" He lowers his head to look the boy in the eyes, "You know what, I'll probably just kill you now to make sure that William really doesn't come back. I mean...I'm sure we can deal with the other William ourselves right Henry?"

"Mike No!" Henry drags him away from Gregory and starts angrily whispering, "If you kill that boy, you'd be no better than him."

"What are you talking about Henry? That's not a child. It's HIM. If he could kill children, I can kill him in this child-like form as well. It's only fair after all that he did"!

'Wait...Henry? That name...I heard it in the Daycare.' Gregory starts to have another headache and slumps down on the ground near a wall for a while as he gains new memories.

The smell of a burning building. Balloons and posters going up in flames. Wise emerald eyes full of hatred gaze at William behind glass that is unwilling to shatter. Said eyes belong to the elderly man in a red jacket who stood there for a while before suddenly collapsing, waiting to die from either the flames or the smoke...

Eventually, he sees another figure standing behind him in the reflected glass. It's a man who is burning alive, the flesh is red, purple and rotting all over and it's falling off, being charcoaled to a dark black...

Mike pushes away Henry, "Screw it, I should just kill him right now".

Mike is about to start possessing Freddy Fazbear once more until Henry grabs one of his arms to stop him from taking such a hasty action.

"Micheal! See past your anger for a second: This William - this one at least- is still a child. I knew William back then. He wasn't always a cold, manipulative monster...At least that's what I figure anyways."

"What are you trying to say Henry?"

"What I'm saying is that what this boy needs is the right guidance. With it, there's a chance we could prevent him from going down the same path as my old friend".

"I agree with him." Freddy chips in, "Gregory is...unruly but he can be taught to be better than Afton."

Micheal scowls with his hands on his hips. "I still feel like killing him. Or maybe just punching him in the face".

"Ok fine." Henry crossed his arms, "If you won't spare him because you think he can't be changed, then at least spare him so that he can help us free them".

"No. No goddamn way," Micheal backs away, staring daggers into Henry's emerald eyes, "Are you serious about this?"

"Yes. I am. ...He's William sure but he's also a boy who can interact with things that we can't and better yet, he's small enough to fit through vents and go far distances to areas of the Pizzaplex we can't as well. With his help, we can finally free them."

"Guess we are going to hell together Eh?" The rotting corpse of a man raises a middle finger at him, "We are both getting what we deserve."

"'Them'?" Gregory mutters his question, choosing this moment to step into the conversation as the memory ended. He realised now that whoever these two men were, they indeed had a dark past with and a grudge against him.

"Yes. We have...friends that are beneath the Mall but we don't know where they are." Henry explains.

"What kind of friends?"

"The 'Missing' children." Micheal reveals with a bitter edge to his voice, "The innocent lives YOU killed and twisted into monsters like YOU."

"That's an awful way to put it but he's right. We could sense them when we became ghosts. They're still alive in the Pizzaplex, Still trapped on Earth like us but we do not know where they are in the building. It seems my plan to free them and kill you all those years ago was pointless. Their spirits couldn't move on and neither could you. I feel so pathetic..."

"There there," Freddy comforted the depressed former Founder, "I'm sure you did you're best and that's all that matters."

There is an awkward tension between all of them now: Micheal wanted to kill the boy badly, Henry was going to start crying and worse of all, Greg was standing still and doing nothing. He had to do something or he'd (possibly) die!

"You know what, I think we should make a deal." Gregory suggests, "I'll help you free the children but in return, I want you both to help me out as well in surviving the night. I'll run away and...I promise i won't hurt anyone ever again."

Gregory gives them a charming smile in hopes that they'll agree to his proposal.

"Hah! You're a murderer." Mike scoffs, "Like hell I'm letting you go! The moment you get out of there, you'll just start the cycle all over again."

"Stop it Mike! This boy is helping us and we are helping him. That's my final decision."

"What...really? Need I remind you that he murdered your daughter! He murdered those children! He ruined your life as he did with mine. Why are you giving him a chance?!"

"Please, put aside your anger Mike." Henry pleaded with him once more as he did earlier, "I don't want to fight you".

"I'd like that too." Freddy chimes in once again in support of Henry's choice. "I don't want the both of you hurting one another. Even if you are already both erm...dead".

"Fine." Mike gives in to the silent, unanimous vote to spare Gregory, "But the moment HE steps out of line, I won't hesitate to end him in an instant."

Mike then turns his head towards the clone, "We've come to a decision: Let's work together."

"Woah hang on, can you tell me who you both are?" Gregory places his hands out in a 'timeout' gesture, "I told both of you everything but none of you have explained who you are to me yet."

Mike and Henry look at each other perplexed before turning their attention to Gregory.

"You're saying you don't remember us at all?"

"Sort of...I have William's memories but not all of them. Also, I don't know what they mean or who the people in them are but I've seen you in them a lot." He points to Henry.

"Him..." Gregory looks at Mike, "Not so much."

Mike's scowl somehow gets even deeper than it already has.

"What do you remember about me William?" Henry asked.

Gregory flinched in disgust at being called that, "Don't call me William...Not anymore. I just want to be Gregory."

"Very well." Henry acknowledged, "I'm sorry about that. Please continue."

"I remember a few things about you." Gregory started, "There was a carnival. We played in a Ball Pit and then there was also a fire. We were burning somewhere and you were mad at me for some reason. I remembered feeling upset and angry at the last memory".

Henry steps forward and extends his hand out towards Gregory, "I'm Henry, Henry Emily. I was your business partner back then and we were close friends since childhood."

Gregory tries to shake Henry's hand even though it passes right through him.

Henry has a wistful look in his eyes as he gazes at Gregory as staring at the child version of his former friend was making him long again for the good times he and William used to have as innocent children without a care in the world.

Then, Gregory stops shaking his hand and walks over to Mike (fearfully). Mike refuses to look at the child.

"Mike, your turn." Henry prompts him, "Tell him who you are."

"I'm...Micheal Afton." the man in the purple shirt tells him reluctantly, avoiding Gregory's similar Hazel eyes, "Your oldest son. I'm actually not surprised you don't remember me...you barely gave a shit about my existence unless you needed me to do things for you or I hurt anyone".

A memory became clear: Three children in a living room. There was a small boy crying as the larger boy had snatched a Foxy Plushie away from him and caused him to fall.

"Micheal! What did I tell you about stealing things from your brother?!"

"I'm so sorry." Gregory apologised to him. He shouldn't have had to apologise as it wasn't exactly his fault but he felt like if he apologised, Mike's anger would cool down. Even just a little.

Micheal is still full of animosity but shockingly, he laughs a bit. "God...this is so weird. My own father has outlived all of us and now he's a child and we are both several years older than him. I'm mad but at the same time, I'm finding this so hard to process...it's like the plot of a shitty movie".

An alarm on Gregory's watch beeps, alerting him of someone or something coming towards them from above. Gregory noticed that it was gradually coming down the stairs...

"I think we should keep moving. Movement has been detected on Gregory's Fazwatch." Freddy notified everyone, "Vanny and the other animatronics are still on patrol and it won't be very long until either one of them arrives here and finds us".

"Whew Alright. Bye for now." Mike waves.

"Wait, where are you both going?" Gregory asks.

"We just need to hibernate a little so to speak. But we will be around. If you need us, just call our names."

With that, Henry and Mike vanish into thin air like they did last time and Gregory re-enters Freddy, continuing their journey to the Atrium.

Author's note: Gregory has a lot to process in the next chapter. Stay tuned as it's gonna be a little longer than this one (maybe). Also what is better for me going forward? Quality over Quantity chapters or Quality over quantity chapters?
