I ended up changing the title this time again. Also a few things in the previous chapter were changed too but for those who don't want to re-read. Here are the changes:

- William and Henry are described as wearing Dark Blue and Maroon suits in their individual portraits.

- Gregory doesn't know immediately that the ringtone causes Vanny and Vanessa to switch. He only has a bad feeling about what is gonna happen and in that moment in the last chapter, this is where he learns of it.

Location: Pizzaplex VIP Area

Time: 11:10pm

While Freddy marches past the dull grey walls of the utility tunnels, heading towards the location of Gregory's signal via the fastest available route, Mike starts a conversation with Henry as they both float beside the speeding Freddy.

"Did you know?" Mike asks.

"Know what?" Henry requests Mike for more elaboration.

"That the child we met was William, even before he told us who he was?"

"Sort of." Henry confessed, "When I first saw Gregory emerge from the chest cavity, my first thought was that he looked exactly like him when we were children but I assumed it was pure coincidence because it was impossible for anyone to survive being burned to a crisp at 200 degrees and higher."

"Well you know my father….Nothing is impossible for him and he's just full of surprises".

"Heh true but…I didn't want to believe it was him. I wanted to let bygones be bygones. And then, Gregory showed Freddy that knife and gave him that wide grin. At that very second, I knew it was him moments before he said it."

"Ah that 'wide grin'. I have the exact same look too you know".

Mike grinned from ear to ear, teeth bared at Henry, "I do it to unsettle people. It's hilarious to see their reactions".

"What about you Mike?" Henry asks, "Did you realise Gregory was William?"

"I never knew what my father looked like as a child so it's why I didn't pick up on it at all until he straight up confessed it." the ghost shrugged, "To be honest, he did remind me of my little brother at first though, which is why I wanted to protect him with you before… you know".

Henry senses the unease and fury within Mike growing again, "You're very bothered by him, aren't you?"

"You mean "Gregory"? Yeah. I don't know why he keeps calling himself that".

"Perhaps he really doesn't want to be like William in the same way you didn't want to be associated with him back then either?"

"Well, I can do it because even though I kind of look like him, I'm only related to him by blood only partially. "Gregory" on the other hand? He's a complete flesh and blood copy of that psychopath. Why should we trust that he wants to be a good person?"

"Because he doesn't seem like William. As far as I can tell, he's still a blank slate." Henry rationalises. "Gregory has childlike innocence and is still in the middle learning what's right from wrong. If we could steer him towards make better choices, he won't be like your father personality-wise at least".

"Didn't seem like he had 'childlike innocence' when he brandished that knife in front of Freddy though did he?"

Mike takes a deep breath and clenches his fists. "Henry. This might not seem right to you but…I don't want to give him a chance. I want to kill him. I want justice not just for myself but for his victims, the many innocents who died by his hands over the years because of his selfish ambitions."

Henry looks downwards, "I…understand your rage, Micheal but for now, we need him to help us alright and I want all of us to cooperate as best as possible. So please, can you try to be a little less antagonistic toward him?"

"I can try but there's no guarantee." Mike promises half-heartedly.

STOMP STOMP STOMP

A large and ominous green shape emerged from the side of the lane and blocked Freddy's path forward. It sported a red mohawk and wore pants with a scaly texture. On his wrists were spiky black bracelets and balancing on his snout were a pair of yellow-rimmed star shaped glasses that had purple lenses.

"FREDDY!" Montgomery Gator bellowed with great rage.

"Monty? What's wrong?" Freddy asked calmly.

"You Traitor! William told me about you. He said you were hiding him. Where is the boy?!"

Henry and Mike, invisible to Monty's eye, exchanged nervous glances at one another.

"Not with me at the moment." Freddy simply stated.

"You're lying." The alligator snarled, leaning forward aggressively.

"He really isn't with me." Freddy stated again. While saying this, he opened and closed his empty chest cavity to show the Glamrock Animatronic how honest he was being.

"But you do know where he is now, right?"

"No." Freddy lies but only minimally, "That's why I was going down this corridor. To search for him".

"You're not just a Traitor. I think you're also a Liar." Monty snarls. He punches the knuckles of his right claw into his left claw, signalling to Freddy that he was in for a beatdown.

"if you're not going to tell me where he is, then I'll just have to hurt you until you do…"

Location: Security Office

Time: 11:25pm

Gregory drifts in and out of consciousness while Vanny carries him. Eventually, they reach one of the many dull grey security offices in the Pizzaplex and she puts him down at one of the wall corners. Then, she grabs some rope that she had already prepared nearby and binds his wrists and ankles.

"Don't worry Gregory. It's ok. You're with me again…." Vanny says soothingly in front of him with Vanessa's face. She then fluffs his hair in an attempt to give him extra reassurance. Gregory is still too weak to call for help as he gazes at her with a slack expression.

Up close, he could see that Vanny actually had a different expression from Vanessa. The Security Guard always looked constantly pissed off, even when he first met her but Vanny seemed happier but in a creepier way. Her smile was friendly and inviting but, in contrast, her green eyes appeared hollow and almost glazed over.

Vanny then sat up, took a few steps away from him and called up William on her phone.

"Hello Mr Afton! I've caught Will and tied him up in my office."

"That's great news. Did anything interesting happen? Did he resist?"

"Yes. He tried to stab me." Vanny reports to him with a tinge of sadness, "but the sedative I had put him to sleep for a while. He's still kind of unconscious."

"Mmmm…Seems my Vessel has a natural affinity for violence already. That's also great news." William sounded pleased, "This might make the transfer far easier and quicker."

Helpless and unable to move about much, the clone remembers the day he was 'born'. He recalled that when he first came into consciousness, he was lying on a cold floor while a woman in a rabbit costume looked down at him, talking to someone he couldn't see. He couldn't help but think that this situation was identical somehow.

A sudden drowsiness overtakes Gregory again and everything goes dark. When Gregory re-awakens, Vanny is standing over him, having changed back into her favourite rabbit costume which was likely stored away in one of the four lockers within the room.

"Stay here for a while ok Will? I'm going to get one of the animatronics to help me carry you back to Mr Afton with me as you've gotten…a little heavier since I last carried you b-but in a good way of course!" She corrected her statement, "You look much healthier now. I still remember when you first woke up, you were as thin as a stick –"

"V-Vanny…W-Wait…" Gregory stutters, finally having regained enough strength to speak. "I want you to free me from these restraints".

"Sorry but I can't. Mr Afton told me to restrain you".

"But I'm Mr Afton too aren't I? So shouldn't you also obey my orders?" Gregory reasons smugly despite his weakened state.

Vanny paused for a long moment.

"Well um yes…but I can't free you because I think you're just going to run away again once I do".

"What if I promise not to?"

"That's not going to work." she crossed her arms, "You disobeyed my orders to stay in that room and look at what happened: You caused so much trouble tonight."

She made a 'Tsk Tsk' sound.

"Alright Vanny, if you won't let me go then…" Gregory changes his tactics and pouts, "at least loosen the ropes on my wrists and feet. You tied them too tight and they hurt."

He emphasises this by faking that he can barely struggle against the restraints.

"You wouldn't want Mr Afton to be mad at you because you hurt me, would you?" He adds while using a trick he learned from a memory: Making a goo goo eyed stare directly at the Rabbit Lady.

He hates that he's acting more like the man he despises but he doesn't have a choice.

'I'm only doing this to get out of here…' He reasons to himself.

"Mmmmph…That look of yours is making it really hard to turn down your request." She crouches down in front of Gregory. "Fine. I'll loosen them but only a bit alright."

Gregory nods and she leans forward, getting to work on unfastening the ties on his legs and then his hands slightly. However, before she sits up, she stares at Gregory's face for a while before cupping it with her soft, rabbit pawed hands. He's worried that she's going to strangle him like Mike but it seems all she's doing is examining his face, turning it from left to right in slow motion.

"You know, as I was carrying you to the office," she starts, "I caught a glimpse of William's portrait".

She giggles, "Seems he wasn't lying when he said he was attractive in his 20s. I bet you'll be a natural looker yourself when you're older, just like William. Cute now, but drop dead gorgeous later!"

Gregory turns the charming colour of a beetroot at this. He didn't like William for his personality or actions, that much was true. However, he was also conflicted as there was no denying that Henry was right: The man was …kind of attractive and when Gregory was older and taller, he'd have those good looks as well. That or maybe it William's own narcissism was starting to affect him mentally too. He didn't know how much of his feelings were truly his own anymore.

"Okay, I'm going Will." Vanny tousles his hair, which makes his blush somehow much redder. "But I'll be back real soon with a friend "

However, just before she leaves, she pulls out a wide white cloth from her hands, stretches it and then places it in Gregory's slack jaw, tying the ends of it around his head.

"This is just so you don't use your charming voice to call anyone for help while I'm out ~"

Saying this, she waves at him as she opens the door with a white card and skips away happily, humming a tune as she does so.

There's no time to waste. Whatever she'd drugged him with was pretty strong but still, he wasn't going to give up trying to escape. It was a side effect he supposed, of inheriting William's sheer refusal to give up in the face of death.

Gregory struggles against his restraints again and again, trying to loosen them further. Slowly but surely, it works and he sees that they've been loosened even further. However, they're still not entirely off and the knot keeps his hands still semi-bound (but he could now move his wrists left and right at least. His legs were also unfortunately still somewhat bound as well.

The boy then pushes himself against the wall, using it as his support to stand upright like he did days ago, and when he does stand up, he starts jumping towards the front desk like a Kangaroo. He felt ridiculous.

Upon the desk were 5 Computer screens and a keyboard to the left while on the right (where Gregory was standing), there was a cylindrical holder with several kinds of stationery, mostly pens. Perhaps one of them would be sharp enough to free him?

He opens their caps one by one, finding nothing until he sees one more lying idly to the side. He opens it and within, is a sharp blade.

'A penknife!' Gregory grins wide and grabs it with his right hand, using it to easily chop the rope from the middle by bending his right wrist to the side.

He breathes a sigh of relief when he feels the ropes around his hands slide off. Then, he uses the pen knife to cut the remaining restraints around his legs and mouth before he puts it down and searches the drawers for anything that could help him get out of there. There were paperclips, towels, more rope, newspapers, a toolbox, several Fazbear themed notepads stacked on one another and, opening the sixth drawer on the desk, he found… another Prohibited Items box!

He instantly sees a familiar sight: The knife he took from the Daycare. For whatever reason, Vanny had retrieved it and brought it here. He didn't know why but he was grateful she did. He takes and holds it close to him, as if he was giving it a hug.

"That feels comforting, doesn't it? Like you're the master of the world?" A British voice with robotic inflections spoke, "I know how you feel, Will … after all, we're the same…"

Gregory looks around alarmed, wondering where his voice was coming from. The screens on the office desk flicker to life beside him, revealing the icon of the Gold Rabbit.

"Bravo Will," clapping noises emerge from the speakers, "I heard from Vanny that you tried to kill and manipulate her into freeing you. I'm guessing that trip down memory lane in the exhibit made you remember more about the kind of person we were huh?"

Gregory chooses to remain silent to the question, turning away from the screen and continuing to look through the drawers as he had to focus more urgently on escaping this room before she came back. William was likely just trying to distract him until then.

"You know, I was skeptical about you at first because you didn't seem to have anything in common with me at first but now though, I see that you truly are becoming more and more like me with each passing hour! Your progress is magnificent".

Opening the last drawer, Gregory found nothing. There were no spare White Cards to get him out of the room this time and he'd lost the one he originally had while trying to run from Vanny after first discovering what (or who) he was really created for. He had to find another way out.

"Perhaps if I find some way to jog your memory further, restore every single memory in that head of yours, perhaps you'll become even more like me: Less emotional, less weak, more sadistic…If that happens, maybe then you'll agree to my proposition of the two of us becoming one".

Gregory's eye twitches. He clenches his fist. He was disturbed by this but he tried not to let it irk him, focusing single handedly on the task of finding an exit. The boy remains adamantly silent as he searches the room and then, in the corner of the desk, Gregory spots a vent entrance. He goes up to it and confirms that, yes, he's small enough to crawl inside. All he needed to do now was get rid of the screws to remove its metal grille. Going through the desk drawers again, he pulls out the toolbox he saw earlier and, picking up the screwdriver, he begins to unscrew the obstacle in his way…

"Why do you try to fight your destiny?" William persisted with his speech, "We're going to be very close, little Will. Literally inseparable. You were made with my remnant which means that you're going to become like me, whether you like it or not! And deep down in your heart … you know it's true".

CLANG

The metal grille finally falls down and Gregory quickly crawls into the tight space to escape, not wishing to hear anymore of William's words.

"How rude! You didn't even say hello to me and you're leaving already?!" The gold rabbit icon on the screens grimaces angrily at the retreating boy, "No matter, I've sent someone on your tail already, someone more…your size".

END OF CHAPTER 14

CHAPTER 15 Title: In the Vents

Summary: Gregory enters the vents to get away from Vanny and William but ends up being tailed by a Spider-like animatronic in them anyway (Aka Mini Music man Boss fight).
