As of now, I am rewriting this story. It will follow the same basic plot points, but I will be changing some of the world-building, putting more focus on the development of Sakura's character, and overall fixing a lot of mistakes in both the storytelling and writing that were kindly pointed out to me in reviews. A rewrite is honestly long overdue. This story is still rather dear to my heart, so I will take the time to finish it and hopefully do it justice. I will be leaving this old version up with the current chapters and old title, and the new version will be posted sometime late this summer, once I have written ten chapters ahead. The new title is Children of the Bloody Leaf (which is still a working title and may change). Look out for it around mid-August 2022! I hope you all join me on the journey of creating a new and improved version of this story and enjoy yourselves along the way!
