Author's Note:

I know a few of you didn't want her to be pregnant.

But this was already outlined into the story. *shrugs*

Isa's PoV:

I should have known he would blow this out of proportion.

It was just a little vomit. I wasn't dying or anything. Coming here could have waited until I wasn't so busy.

Now, as I awaited for the doctor to come back after taking samples of blood and urine, I am here trying to calm down, while I know Cris is outside in the hallway probably pacing a hole into the tiled floor.

I had been ignoring all of the texts from my mom, Gio, and my sister, choosing to focus on keeping myself calm.

The doctor had said it takes about one to two hours to get the results, which I knew already, but being here again, let's just say, I am not exactly alright with the situation.

Especially since I knew there was a huge possibility that I knew exactly what was going on with me.

A knock startles me out of revere.

"Señorita Swan?" The nurse called, timidly stepping into the room. (Ms. Swan)

I blinked a few times, before responding, "Si?" I asked, shaking my head out of its daze. (Yes?)

"El médico dijo que pasará una hora más o menos y que le llamara tan pronto como se reciban los resultados. Por lo tanto, puedes ir a almorzar o caminar un rato." She informed me with a gentle smile. (The doctor said it will be an hour or so and he will call you as soon as the results are received. Therefore, you can go for lunch or walk for a while.)

"Muy bien, gracias. Espero la llamada." I replied as I hopped off the exam table, and began to get dressed. (Alright then, thank you. I will wait for the call.)

After I got dressed, I slowly made my way to the waiting room, where I found Cris pacing the length of the room, as he spoke to someone on the phone.

"No. Bueno, no sé qué está pasando.— No soy una mujer, ¿cómo diablos se supone que voy a saber?" He replied, as his eyes narrowed, before he rolled them. (No. Well, I don't know what is going on.— I am not a woman, how the hell am I supposed to know? )

I smirked at the annoyance on his face as he continued to pace and speak, my guess was to Gio, as I leaned on the wall, and crossed my arms over my chest.

"Sí, eso no me ayuda exactamente a calmarme, hermano." He deadpanned, as he finally turned in my direction, with a worried expression. (Yeah, that's not exactly helping me calm down, brother.)

Oh yes, that was definitely my lovable brother in law, Sergio 'Gio' Ramos Garcia. A definite pain in the ass, and constant in my life.

"Mira, finalmente acaba de salir. Veamos qué le dijo el médico y veremos qué hacer a partir de ahí. —Sí, te llamaré en cuanto sepamos para recibir novedades.— Deja de ser un gilipollas y cuelga." He scoffed before hanging up and rushing to my side. (Look, she finally just came out. Let's see what the doctor told her, and we'll see what to do from there. —Yes, I'll call you as soon as we know to get any news. —Stop being an asshole and hang up. )

"¿Interrumpí algo?" I asked, raising a brow at him as he finally reached the wall I was leaning against. (Did I interrupt something?)

"No, realmente no. Sergio acababa de llamar por decimoquinta vez para preguntarme si ya sabía algo. Luego comenzó a hacerme algunas preguntas bastante alarmantes, que no tenía idea de cómo responder, hasta que llegó a una pregunta en particular." He said, before letting out a frustrated breath, "Entonces, mi pregunta para ti es, ¿qué está mal? ¿Qué dijo el doctor?" He asked, as the annoyance was replaced by worry on his features. (Not really, no. Sergio was just calling for the fifteenth time to ask if I knew anything yet. Then he began asking me some pretty alarming questions, which I had no idea how to answer, until he got to a particular question./ So my question to you is, what is wrong? What did the doctor say?)

I sighed, rolling my neck on my shoulders to release some tension before I looked up at him. "Lamento decepcionarte, pero el médico dijo que pasará al menos otra hora antes de obtener los resultados." I replied, giving a small shrug. (I am sorry to disappoint you, but the doctor said it's going to be at least another hour before getting the results. )

He looked at me with a furrowed brow for a moment, before nodding. "¿Entonces, qué hacemos ahora?" He asked. (So what do we do now?)

"Supongo que deberíamos ir a comer algo mientras esperamos la llamada." I said, softly. (I guess we should go get something to eat while we wait for the call.)

"Me gusta la forma en que piensa Sra. Rubio." He replied with a smile, as he offered his arm as we made our way out of the doctors office. (I like the way you think, Ms. Rubio.)

Of course, nothing can be that simple though.

As we reached the door, we were blinded by the flashes of light, and overlapping voices.

"Mierda. Nos encontraron." Cris muttered, as he pushed me back inside and closed the door. (Shit. They found us.)

"¿Qué vamos a hacer ahora?" I asked, as I ran my fingers through my hair. (What are we going to do now?)

He silently lifted his finger in the air, as he pulled out his phone. This was going to be bad. I could feel it.

"Una de las enfermeras ha abierto la boca. Tendremos que esperar hasta que llegue mi equipo de seguridad. No hay otra manera." he muttered, shaking his head as he walked back into the waiting room. (One of the nurses has opened her mouth. We're going to have to wait until my security team gets here. There's no other way. )

" Vuelvo enseguida. Necesito hablar con el doctor." I threw over my shoulder, walking away before he could say anything.(I'll be right back. I need to speak to the doctor. )

I quickly made my way towards the office, where I knew the doctor was currently in, before slamming the door open, and rushing in.

"Sra. Swan, estaba a punto de llamarla. Por favor tome asiento. ¿Qué puedo hacer por usted?" He asked, as he pulled a file out. (Ms. Swan, I was about to call you. Please take a seat. What can I do for you?)

"Una de sus enfermeras ha llamado a los paps aquí, revelando nuestra ubicación y poniéndonos en peligro. ¿Puede explicar por qué sintieron la necesidad de hacerlo?" I asked, with a raised brow. (One of your nurses has called the paps here, revealing our location, and putting us in danger. Can you explain why they felt the need to do so?)

" No tenía idea de que se había hecho esto. Puedo decirles que esta oficina se nutre de la privacidad del paciente. Entonces, si una de nuestras enfermeras ha hecho esto, entonces esto es motivo de despido inmediato." He said, looking over at his computer 's monitor. (I had no idea that this had been done. I can tell you that this office thrives on the patient 's privacy. So, if one of our nurses has done this, then this is grounds for immediate termination. )

I watched as he clicked a few times before his face turned a dark red. "No puedo creer a esta mujer." He muttered, shaking his head. (I can not believe this woman. )

When whatever he was watching ended, he looked up at me with a look of disbelief. "Lamento muchísimo que el personal de esta oficina los haya puesto en peligro a usted y a su esposo. Por favor, perdónanos y permítenos rectificar la situación." He said, as he stood up. (I am terribly sorry that the staff of this office has put you and your husband at risk. Please forgive us, and allow us to rectify the situation.)

"Si es mi esposo o no, no debería preocupar a nadie." I replied evasively, before standing up, and heading back to the waiting room, where Cris was speaking once again to someone on the phone, this time in portugese. (Whether or not he is my husband shouldn't be of anyone's concern.)

"Sim, eu sei que você vai estar ocupado, mas eu preciso muito que você assista Cristiano Jr. esta semana, tem um jogo fora de casa e estarei fora por dois dias no máximo." He said, tiredly. (Yes, I know you are going to be busy, but I really need you to watch Cristiano Jr. this week, there is an away game, and I'll be gone for two days tops.)

He listened to whoever was on the other line, and sighed, pinching the bridge of his nose in frustration. "Tudo bem, vou descobrir, não se preocupe com isso." He said, before he hung up. (Fine, I'll figure it out, don't worry about it.)

"¿Te pasa algo?" I quietly asked him. (Is something the matter?)

He sighed, before looking over at me with a frustrated look. "Sí, mi mamá me acaba de llamar para decirme que tenía un problema y que necesita quedarse en Portugal, lo que significa que Jr tendrá que venir conmigo al partido de visitante que se llevará a cabo esta semana." He explained, tapping his fingers on his phone screen. (Yeah, my mom just called me to tell me that she had a problem and needs to stay in Portugal, which means Jr is going to need to come with me to the away game happening this week.)

He looked down, with a concerned look before looking back up at me. "¿Te han devuelto los resultados de tus pruebas?" (Have they given you your results yet?)

"Aun no." I muttered, sighing tiredly. (Not yet.)

He was about to say something else, when a sudden commotion coming just outside of the doors interrupted us.

We turned to see a group of men walk through the door, and move towards us.

"Finalmente están aquí. Vamos, hay alguien a quien quiero que conozcas." He said, as he took my hand and led me closer to the men. (They are finally here. Come on, there's someone I want you to meet.)

"Isa, este es Diego, es el jefe de mi equipo de seguridad. Diego esta es Isa, ella es mi novia." Cris said, with a brilliant smile. (Isa this is Diego, he is head of my security team. Diego this is Isa, she is my girlfriend.)

"Mucho gusto." We said before shaking hands. (Pleasure.)

We were about to head back to the waiting room, but the doctor called my attention.

"¿Disculpe, señorita Swan?" He called as he stood at the end of the hall. (Excuse me, Ms. Swan?)

"Si, que pasa?" I replied, as I slowly made my way over to him. (Yes, what's up?)

He lifted the manila folder to show me. "Sus resultados. Quiere pasar a la oficina para que se los de o prefiere que se los de aquí?" He asked. (Your results. Do you want to come to the office so that I can give them to you or do you prefer that I give them to you here?)

"Aquí está bien." I replied, twisting my fingers anxiously. (Here is fine.)

"Sus muestras de sangre y orina mostraron que la hormona HCG está presente en ellas, los niveles están realmente elevados. Felicitaciones, Señorita. Swan, está embarazada." He said with a small smile. (Your blood and urine samples showed that the HCG hormone is present in them, the levels are really high. Congratulations, Mrs. Swan, you are pregnant.)

"Espere. Espere un momento, ¿podría repetirlo, por favor?" I asked, as the blood drained from my face. (Wait. hang on a moment, could you repeat that, please?)

"Felicidades, usted está embarazada ." He repeated, again. (Congratulations you are pregnant.)

I felt my jaw fall to the ground in disbelief, before I heard a gasp, followed by something dropping heavily.

We both turned to see Diego, checking over an unconscious Cris on the ground.

"Bueno, supongo que es una buena forma de decírselo." I muttered, after rushing to his side. (Well, that's a good way to tell him I guess. )

"Esta bien?" I asked Diego, who had an amused smile on his face. ( Is he okay?)

"Creo que si. Creo que se sorprendió cuando escuchó la noticia." He replied as the doctor pulled out a small alcohol wipe from his pocket, opened it before sticking it under Cris's nose. (I think so. I think he was surprised when he heard the news.)

I nodded, as I watched Cris finally begin to come to.

"Yo creo que es genial. Será divertido tenerte cerca." He added, before giving me a dimpled grin and going to help a dazed Cris sit up. (I think it's great. It'll be fun having you around. )

I gave him a small smile in response, before looking over at the doctor.

He handed me a prescription of iron, folic acid, along with prenatal vitamins, then told me he had gone ahead and made an appointment for two weeks from now.

The paps were gone by the time we made it outside and climbed into the large SUV. Cris's car would be driven home by one of the security detail.

The entire drive home, I sat quietly staring out the window, in hope that I could get home and wrap my head around this.

What is going to happen now? Wasn't it too soon? Would he stick around?

Damn it! Why did we have to drink so much that night?

I just hope no one gets hurt.

Cri's POV:

Did I hear correctly?

Was Isa really pregnant with our child?

I had had my suspicions when she told me of her symptoms earlier, but now that it has been confirmed, it surprised the hell out of me that I had been correct to bring her in.

One moment, I was listening to what the doctor was telling her, then everything seemed to be upside down. It's like one moment I was on my feet, then the next my feet were swept from under me.

The side of my head really hurt, and so did my shoulder, but that was manageable. For now, all I cared about was Isa.

I needed to talk to her, but I couldn't because of the ringing in my ear.

Fuck! She is going to think I probably don't want to be with her now that she is pregnant.

Fuck! And she sat down on the other side, as far as possible from me.

"Isa…" I groaned, hoping to catch her attention. "Tenemos que hablar de esto." I said, reaching over and taking her hand into mine. (We have to talk about this.)

"Mas tarde." She replied quietly, as I felt her thumb rub small circles in the back of my hand. (Later.)

"Bien, pero a más tardar esta noche. Sergio y yo salimos para el partido de ida mañana." I said, bringing her hand up to my lips for a moment. (Fine, but no later than tonight. Sergio and I leave for the away game tomorrow morning.)

Sometimes I am surprised by the turns life takes. This surprise, however, makes me happy. Even if it knocked me down on my ass. I am content.

If I had any doubts about whether or not Isa and I belonged together, they no longer exist. I know we belong together, this is just life's way of agreeing with me.

A/N:

So, there you have it. Yet another chapter.

Stay safe, and make good choice. Until next time!
