As we walked out of the room, his grin broadened, and he put his arm around my shoulders to keep me walking close to him.

Briefly wondering if I should ask him whether or not he wanted to tell the rest of the family about our news but the grin on his face gave me the answer without needing to verbally ask him, as we walked silently through the wide and spacious hallway.

I knew we would have to tell them one way or the other. For two reasons really. One, I had already informed Sergio, and I knew he had a mouth that couldn't be stopped, and two, Cris wanted to tell his family too, and I knew it wouldn't be fair if he had to keep it from his family when I got to tell my family of the news.

Still, I could feel my stomach swirl, uncomfortably as we slowly inched closer and closer to the living room.

I knew the moment they saw me they would rush towards me like a pair of vultures over a dead carcass. Even though I knew why they were doing it, I still wasn't looking forward to their inquiry.

"¿Estás seguro de que quieres venir aquí para lidiar con esto?" I asked, raising a brow at him in amusement as we rounded the corner and finally walked into view of my sister and mother. (Are you sure you want to come here to deal with this?)

He laughed at my doubtful expression before, nodding and kissing my hair. "Por supuesto que sí. Entonces podemos decirle a mi familia." He replied, with a wide grin. (Of course, I do. Then we can tell my family. )

"Vas a hacer eso a través del teléfono, no podré volar." I said, as a memory of when I flew while pregnant with Santi and Nati flickered in my brain causing me to frown slightly. (You are going to do that through the phone, I won't be able to fly.)

He laughed, and nodded, "No te preocupes por eso ahora, les diré después de que regresemos del juego." He said, as we stepped into the living room. (Don't worry about it now, I'll tell them after we get back from the game.)

As expected, Pili and my mom quickly rushed over to me, pulling me into a tight hug.

I felt Cris tense next to me before they both released me.

"¿Es verdad? Lo que nos ha contado Sergio. ¿Es verdad?" My mother asked, staring at me concerned. (Is it true? What Sergio told us. Is it true?)

"Eso depende de lo que les dijo Sergio," I replied, evasively. (That depends on what Sergio told you.)As Cris laughed into his hand amused and looked away.

"¿Estás embarazada?" My sister asked me point-blank. (Are you pregnant?)

I stared at them for a moment before sighing. I felt Cris's hand wrap around my shoulders, and rub me in encouragement.

I turned to look at him before looking back at my mom and sister, and nodding in response.
