A/N: Just another cute little one-shot that struck me looking at that picture of Ed and Al after they caught a fish in the Ready, Steady, Go! intro. You know; where Ed's got this huge grin and Al is just enjoying the moment in a more reserved way.

Edward, Al reflects as he lies in bed, appreciating the feel of his new body yet again, is the most passionate person he knows. Everything Ed does occurs with flair, and an unfailing tendency toward impulse rather than thought. It was endearing, but exhausting. Really exhausting. Al now felt happiness and sadness gently – it was more contentment and slight depression. But Ed...Ed felt it all. When he was happy, he was ecstatic, and when he was sad he mourned in full-blown depression. And when he was angry...well, generally things blew up.

Al didn't know how he did it. It shouldn't be possible for someone to be so full of powerful, exhausting, beautiful, rapturous life.

"Hey Al!" cheers a familiar voice, breaking Al from thought. He looks up to see Ed's face, bearing his trademark grin, and unthinking, says:

"You know, brother, you've got such a big personality I nearly always forget how short you are."

There's a moment of silence, and then Al cowers as Ed shows him once again just how big his personality is.

"WHO ARE YOU CALLING SO SHORT THAT HIS LITTLE BROTHER CAN CALL HIM A DWARF AND MAKE JOKES LIKE THAT STUPID BASTARD COLONEL??!"

Owari.
