Sydneys POV

I was delighted to find a salad bowl in the bag. After eating only cookies and waffles the last two days I was craving something fresh and savory.

Adrian choose one of the sandwiches and I joined him on the bed, eating my salad cross-legged opposite of him.

I hadn´t even noticed how hungry I had been but now enjoyed every bite of my meal.

And even though it was Caesar Salad I didn´t even think twice about the amount of calories it contained.

We exchanged smiles and glances while we were eating and every once in a while handed each other things like tissues or the water bottle we were sharing.

I felt energized when I finished. Both from the meal and the few hours of sleep I had.

"That was good" Adrian concluded throwing away the packaging of his sandwich.

"I´m ready to conquer the world now" he exclaimed raising up his hands.

I laughed "Well the room is paid till tomorrow, it would be a waste to leave already, besides, I´m ready to be conquered" I said mischievously, surprising myself with my boldness.

I didn´t know how he did it but when I was with him I didn´t even feel embarrassed to say things like that. And seeing him cross the room, still only in his boxers made my heart beat faster.
