This is a story I wrote a while back. She's interested, he's interested, but instead of saying anything, they make eyes at each other. A whole lot of fluff and imagined angst ensues. Modern, one-shot AU.

Modern AU. Merlin works for the wealthy Pendragon family, working in the kitchen. Morgana happens upon Merlin dancing with Gwen in the kitchen. At a charity ball, Morgana wrangles Merlin into dancing. Morgana surprises herself with what happens next.
