Author's Note: So I was hoping we got some good Hizzie content in that episode, and at worst just not anything that would make this impossible to write. Instead we got basically everything we could hope for. And as such this chapter picks up right at the end of the carnival episode. Read and enjoy.

Chemicals

"Oh, before I forget," Lizzie said, pausing before she climbed into the truck. Raising one hand out in front of her, she focused for a moment, "Ursus pupa vocare." Like magic a stuffed panda appeared in her hand, black and white, extra cuddly, and about three feet tall.

Smirking Lizzie tossed it across the cab of the truck to Hope, the tribrid temporarily disappearing under it. "For saving me," Lizzie added as an explanation, smiling brightly as Hope pushed the panda down into her lap, setting her head on top of it.

"Fine. But only because it's very soft," Hope said, a smile playing at the corners of her mouth. Part of her thought she should just set it on fire to prove a point but it was soft and made a decent pillow for her to nap with. Plus it was cute. The panda. Not the fact that Lizzie had given it to her and was clearly happy that she had accepted it.

"Oh, look the police are finally here. I'm sure they'll be a big help with the sex-tuple homicide," Lizzie commented as she saw the lights of police cars pulling into the parking lot.

"This is Mystic Falls. There's got to be someone who knows what's going on. And to cover it up," Hope said, not particularly caring. At worst it would be a bit inconvenient, but nothing she didn't know how to deal with. This was hardly her first mass murder after all.

"That's true, I guess," Lizzie said, guiding the truck onto the highway. Unless Hope said something she was planning on just heading back to the manor. It had been a long day, but it had actually been pretty fun, at least at first. Not real great for her pride, but fun. "At least it gave you a reason to stop keeping score, I'm not sure my ego could've taken much more."

"Oh, I never stopped keeping score," Hope countered, smirking over at Lizzie. "Tribrid, fifteen. Bibrid, one and half. Vampire clowns, minus five."

"Wait, where did the extra points come from?" Last she'd checked Hope had seven, and she had zero. So give her one for a successful compulsion and it should be seven to one. Which wasn't much better actually.

"You get one for finally pulling off a compulsion, and a half point for the assist on that last kill. Very stylish by the way," Hope said, complimenting Lizzie. It was pretty smooth given that they had improvised the entire thing. The crowd buying it had been a nice treat as well. Or maybe they were just smart enough to play along. Hard to tell.

"And then for me, well one point for each vampire I killed. So five total there, plus style points on two of them," Hope said, counting them off on her fingers. Colonel Sanders, the magician, and then the three that had caught Lizzie. No style points for those last three though, she had just torn their hearts out with magic before they even knew she was there. "So that's seven more points there, and then one for saving you. Or should I get two for that?"

"I'm worth at least five," Lizzie answered automatically, before realizing that wasn't going to help her catch up. "And as much as I'd like to say that those clowns shouldn't be worth any… I'll give you the points for doing the world a favor and killing them."

"No kidding," Hope said, laughing slightly. "Can you believe one of them tried to vamp-splain to me about what being a 'creature of the night' meant? I'm a Mikaelson. My family literally invented vampires. My dad would be rolling over in his grave if I hadn't killed them all. Well if he had a grave anyways."

Lizzie glanced over to Hope at that, surprised to hear Hope speak so glibly about her father. She had almost been able to forget that Hope still had the majority of her emotions off. Clearly though Hope was able to feel enough to have fun, even if that mostly seemed to come in the form of one-upping her and killing some condescending vampires. Unfortunately that seemed to be all she felt.

"Is that why you saved me? Just to have a reason to kill them?" Lizzie asked, before she could chicken out. She wasn't sure she wanted to know the answer, but she had to at least ask.

"I already had a reason to kill them. They annoyed me," Hope replied, turning her head to look out the window. All that talk about being true vampires, and doing things the right way. They were lucky she had made it quick. "And I saved you because I wanted to. That's it."

"Why though? I thought you wanted to get rid of me," Lizzie said, pressing her luck a bit more. She had really believed that Hope would come save her, because she always did. But she also knew just how foolish that belief was.

Hope turned her attention back to look at her, thinking about how to answer. Lizzie was trying to hide it but she could tell that the blonde was hoping for some deeper meaning to her saving her. "I saved you because it's more fun to have you around then not. For now at least," Hope said, aiming to shoot down whatever Lizzie was hoping for. "Now stop asking pointless questions and drive."

Turning away from Lizzie she let her head fall onto the top of the stuffed panda, idly looking out the window with no real purpose. In the reflection she could see Lizzie focusing on the road ahead, a downcast look on her face. Had she really thought it was going to be that easy? That she had saved the blonde due to her humanity coming back or something? She had just done what she felt like. There was nothing more to it. There couldn't be.

Opening the door to the mansion Hope snapped her fingers to turn the lights back on, glancing back behind her to see Lizzie following behind slowly. The blonde hadn't said a word since earlier, and it was actually starting to annoy her. Which figured, if anyone could find a way to annoy her without actually saying anything it was going to be Lizzie Saltzman. "I'm going to go set this guy down, wait here," Hope said, gesturing with the over-sized panda before speeding off.

Lizzie didn't really have time to say anything before Hope was gone, leaving her standing in the foyer. Sighing Lizzie shook her head, moving to go to the living room and throw herself on the couch. That was her intention at least, as her legs entirely failed to listen to her and actually move. "Son of a bitch," Lizzie cursed, realizing what the problem was.

"Really? That counted as a command?" She was like ninety percent sure Hope hadn't actually meant it as one, that just being one of those things people said. And now she was stuck here. Wait… Hope had just told her to wait here, there was no time limit or anything. No, she wouldn't actually leave her stuck here… "Hope. Andrea. Mikaelson. I swear if you ran off and left-"

"What are you yelling about?" Hope asked, appearing in a blur in front of her, a wine bottle and pair of glasses in hand. "And why are you just standing there?"

"Why am I-…" Lizzie started loudly, before stopping and taking a deep breath. "You're the one who told me to wait here. I can't move."

Hope's eyes widened, letting out a snort of amusement that quickly turned into full on laughter, Hope lifting one of her hands to cover her mouth as she laughed. "I actually did not meant to do that. Now I wish I had though, because it is hilarious."

"Hope, can you just let me move?" Lizzie pleaded, not even caring how whiny she sounded.

"Fine, you can move around," Hope said, before smirking. "You have to hop on one foot though."

"Hope!" Lizzie yelled, the command hitting her mid stride and making her stumble awkwardly as she tried to start hopping. Glaring at Hope, she hopped right past the laughing tribrid, making her way to the living room and throwing herself on the first available couch.

"I hate you so much," Lizzie said, as Hope walked into the room, an amused smile stretched across her face as she sat on the other end of the couch.

"Oh relax," Hope said, setting the wine bottles down on the coffee table. Turning back to Lizzie she made to say something more before seeing that Lizzie was laid out across the couch, far more relaxed than she thought she'd be. Oh, yeah, that. "Seriously? Am I going have to double check everything before I say it?"

"Probably," Lizzie replied slowly, not particularly caring right now.

"Oh for the love of- fine. Enough of this. Ignore that last command," Hope said, smiling in satisfaction as Lizzie snapped out of her bond-induced relaxation. "Actually, just for tonight, you can do whatever you want."

Lizzie turned to Hope wide eyed, wondering what her angle was. "What? Why? I thought you liked having me at your command." And she didn't think Hope was about to give that up. Not really.

"What? You don't believe me?" Hope said, smirking at Lizzie's confusion. "Fine, do a backflip."

"I can't do a backfl-" Lizzie started, before realizing that she was indeed not flipping through the air. Which was good, she didn't think that even with vampire abilities she was going to be able to land one of those. "Why?"

"Because I wanted to celebrate, and having to judge every word was going to be annoying," Hope answered, gesturing to the wine she had brought. "And you've had more than one chance to leave already and haven't. Clearly you want to be with me."

"Now, what do you say that we get on with that celebrating?" Hope continued before Lizzie could say anything, waving a hand and making the wine bottle float up and pour itself into the glasses she'd brought out.

"Can I know what we're celebrating?" Lizzie said, using her own magic to float the glass closest to the tribrid over to her, smiling at the annoyed look Hope gave her.

"We're celebrating your first compulsion. And first kill too I guess, even if I did all the heavy lifting," Hope explained, raising her glass in a mock toast. "To Magnus, the bisected."

Lizzie snorted a laugh at that, raising her glass along with Hope before bringing it to her lips to take a drink from. It was good, very good actually. Good enough that she did not want to know want the price was, that was for sure. "You realize that wasn't my first compulsion though, right?" Lizzie said in lieu of nothing.

"I'm pretty sure I saw your other attempts. They were definitely fails," Hope said, lowering her own glass after taking a sip. Sure, one was because they had happened to be god. Or god adjacent at least. But the other had been a human and Lizzie had just failed.

"I did it a few times at that party last night," Lizzie explained, having thought nothing of it at the time. It had been easy, she wanted something, and had made them give it to her. So why had it been so much harder when Hope was there? "I blame you for being there."

"Oh? Performance anxiety then?" Hope asked, smiling as she taunted Lizzie. "Do I intimidate you that much?"

"Please. You're too short to intimidate anyone," Lizzie lied, knowing that definitely wasn't the case. The centuries old vampire that had been about to piss himself if he'd lived long enough just being the most recent example. "Huh, I didn't think of it at the time but you compelled that vampire. Since when was that possible?"

"Since always," Hope answered, just confusing Lizzie further. "Originals could always compel vampires. So of course I can as well." The question was whether she could compel the other supernatural species. She was leaning toward yes for werewolves, what with the whole alpha/pack dynamic and her being werewolf royalty, and maybe for witches. She'd have to find some time to test that out, could be interesting.

"Does that mean you could compel me?" Lizzie asked while pouring herself another glass of wine. Not that Hope needed to of course, she already had to do whatever she said.

"Hmm, maybe? I don't think anyone has ever compelled a hybrid. Never needed to really," Hope said, thinking about it. She'd guess that she could compel the vampire/werewolf hybrids that had been created from her. Not that she needed to, they had already been fanatically loyal to her. A normal witch/vampire hybrid would be harder, but likely doable if she had created them. But Lizzie was a Heretic, that added another degree of difficulty. And with Lizzie's own mental peculiarities, controlling her via compulsion might be difficult. "Why don't we try and see?"

Lizzie paused mid-drink, thinking about how badly that could go. "Sure, why not?" She answered, deciding it wasn't that big a risk. Hope could've made her do anything she wanted already, and hadn't exploited that yet. She didn't think she'd start now.

"Good," Hope said, moving along the coach to get closer to Lizzie. Lizzie turned toward her, pulling her legs up underneath her, as she watched Hope get closer. Leaning in Hope got within a few inches of Lizzie, smiling as she felt heard Lizzie's heart quicken.

"Actually, maybe this was wasn't such a good idea. How about-"

"Stop talking," Hope commanded, compelling Lizzie to do so.

"No? Don't feel like it," Lizzie said, before grinning as she realized what that meant. "Hah, Lizzie, one, Hope zero."

"Please, the score is still overwhelmingly in my favor," Hope said, pulling back from Lizzie. She didn't move further down the couch though, instead staying close enough that they were nearly touching. "Actually, I did command you to whatever you wanted earlier. That's probably why it didn't work."

"Just let me have this," Lizzie said, shifting a little so that she had one arm on top the back of the couch and her legs folded under her. "It's not like you need another way to make me do what you want anyways."

"True, but it is fun to have options," Hope said, smiling as Lizzie rolled her eyes. "Besides, I'm starting to think you like it, given that you're still here."

"No. And I already told you why I'm staying," Lizzie reminded Hope. As much as she wanted to, she just couldn't bring herself to hate Hope, to finally give up on her. She still wanted to be with her.

"I remember," Hope said calmly, locking eyes with Lizzie. "Careful, you're going to make me think you like me."

Lizzie scoffed at that, "Hope, I'm pretty sure we're past pretending that isn't the case." The sire-bond itself was proof enough of that. And now that she was learning just how strong vampire senses were she had no doubt that Hope was able to hear every time her heart sped up because of her.

"True," Hope said slowly, before smiling widely, "I mean, you did kiss me after all." Lizzie blushed at that, having been dreading when Hope would inevitably bring it up again. She had been fortunate that Hope had waited this long. "Maybe I should have tried compelling you to kiss me. I bet it would work since you actually want to."

Lizzie looked at Hope curiously, before deciding to just ask, "Careful Mikaelson, I'm starting to think you want me to kiss you."

"Who said I didn't?" Hope replied immediately, smirking as she saw Lizzie's eyes widen. "I enjoyed our last one. Who knows what would have happened if you hadn't run off."

"I.. um.." Lizzie managed to get out, not sure what to actually say. Hope had turned to her, drawing even closer, their knees touching in between them.

"I told you already, you can do whatever you want tonight," Hope said, reaching over to run her fingers along Lizzie's arm, rising up it until she reached her face and cupping it. Leaning up to Lizzie she drew even closer, close enough that Lizzie could feel her breath on her lips. "So, what do you want?"

That was all Lizzie's self-control could take, and the blonde moved to meet Hope, crashing their lips together with more force than she meant. Hope didn't seem to mind though, meeting her eagerly, her lips parting to allow more access while her hands moved to run down Lizzie's back.

Smiling as Lizzie kissed her, Hope pushed back against her, taking control for a moment. Rising up on her knees she got above Lizzie for a moment, relishing being above the taller girl for a moment, as her hands moved to cup around her neck. Finally coming apart for air Hope smirked down at Lizzie, "So, not going to run away this time?"

"Shut up," Lizzie growled out, pushing Hope back and down on to the couch. The satisfied smirk Hope was giving her was so annoying. Fortunately she couldn't see it while kissing her, so she got back to that. Yeah, so maybe making out with the girl who had killed her two days ago wasn't the best decision she'd ever made, but good decisions were never her strong suit anyways.

Below her Hope was enjoying herself immensely, every time Lizzie's tongue met hers she felt electricity course through, and she could feel a fire growing down below. The few emotions she had turned back on were roaring through her, and there was nothing like guilt or remorse to slow them down. All she wanted was more of this feeling. That in mind she moved one hand up, under Lizzie's shirt, feeling the cool skin underneath.

Lizzie gasped at that, pulling back a little. For a moment Hope thought Lizzie would pull away, but instead she just quickly got rid of her jacket before moving back down to kiss her again. Taking that as an invitation Hope let her hands run over Lizzie's back and stomach, delighting in the soft sounds Lizzie made every so often.

Starting to grow hot herself, Hope moved them so that she was sitting up as well, taking her leather jacket off and tossing it aside. Taking the lead this time she pushed Lizzie down on to the couch as she kissed her, running one hand up her side, letting it run from the top of her jeans up to the hem of her bra and back down again. Lizzie's shirt had started to ride up, Hope drinking in the sight of the exposed skin whenever they paused for breath.

Pulling back for a moment Hope leaned over Lizzie, admiring just how flushed the blonde the was. Noticing that Lizzie's eyes kept darting down Hope looked down herself to see what the issue was. Spotting it Hope smirked even wider, "Like what you see?" Her shirt had a deep cut to it start with, and with the way she leaning over Lizzie the blonde could see right down it.

"Yeah, a lot," Lizzie admitted, having been torn between trying to keep her eyes up where they belonged and wanting to see more.

Reaching down Hope took hold of her shirt by the hem, pulling it off in one swift motion and tossing it aside, leaving her in her black bra. Lizzie's eyes widened, greedily looking over every inch of newly on display skin. "You can do more than look," Hope told her, Lizzie's eyes darkening at that.

Taking Hope up on the offer, Lizzie kissed her once more, while her right hand went up to cup Hope's breast through her bra. The soft moan Hope let out at that turned her on even more, Lizzie doubling her efforts to see if she could make her do it again.

Soon they were laying back on the coach once more, Hope straddling Lizzie, the latter's shirt having joined Hope's on the floor at some point. Pulling up from where she had been trailing her mouth down Lizzie's neck, Hope looked down at Lizzie, "So, want to move to the bedroom? Or just continue here?"

"Continue?" Lizzie asked slowly, her brain having stopped working some time ago. Arousal flashed through her as realized just what Hope was offering, and she sat up a little as she tried to think of an answer. "We shouldn't…"

"Probably," Hope admitted. There was something in the back of her mind telling her that this was a bad idea as well. That having sex with Lizzie was pretty far from what she had originally planned when keeping the girl around. "But where's the fun in that?"

She should say no, Lizzie knew that. Find someway to turn Hope down, pick what was left of her dignity back up off the floor, and get out of here before this went any further. But as Hope reached behind her back and unclasped her bra, letting it fall away slowly, Lizzie felt all of her motivation to do so fall with it. Fuck it, dignity was overrated anyways.

Groaning as she woke up Lizzie stretched out slowly, enjoying the moment before the world came back into focus and she had to return to reality. And what a return it was, the memories of everything she'd done the night before flooding back to her. Looking to her side she sighed with relief at seeing that Hope wasn't there. The last thing she wanted was to have to see what was sure to be very smug Hope first thing in the morning.

"Looking for someone?" Hope asked from the doorway to the bedroom, getting Lizzie to jolt up in bed. Smirking she walked into the room, clad in a black robe, and took a seat on the foot of the bed. "I made coffee, want one?"

"Sure, coffee sounds great," Lizzie answered, in part to get Hope to leave for a minute. Hope did no such thing though, instead just gesturing with one finger, a pot of coffee and another mug floating in a minute later. "Show off."

"You like it," Hope said, taking a sip of her own coffee.

Lizzie sat up to take hold of the floating coffee, before realizing she had a slight problem. That being that she still wasn't wearing anything. Looking around she searched for her clothes around the room, before remembering that they wouldn't be here. They were likely still scattered all over the living room where they had started. One glance at Hope told her she'd be of no use, the tribrid clearly enjoying her dilemma, hell she was the whole reason the coffee was that far out of reach. Rolling her eyes she sat up and leaned over to take hold of the floating coffee mug, the comforter falling around her waist as she did.

"Nice," Hope said appreciatively, even as Lizzie moved back down and adjusted the comforter to give her some coverage.

"You've seen them before," Lizzie said, fighting back the urge to blush. And touched them, and… yeah, Hope had gotten well acquainted with them last night.

"I have. They were very nice then too," Hope said, smirking as Lizzie blushed finally. Deciding to go ahead and have her fun now she continued, "And I have to say last night was pretty amazing. I know I only have one other time to compare it to, and that was ruined by it being Landon. And that he melted. But damn, you are good at this."

Lizzie sighed at Hope's obvious provocation, she had known it was coming. After last night she had no doubt that Hope would try and appear even more cold and unemotional, thus the double shot at Landon. Because she wasn't supposed to feel anything. "Do you have to do this?"

"No. But we did a lot of things we didn't have to last night," Hope answered, smiling once more. Very enjoyable things, that she wanted to do again. But that was just the chemicals talking. She had deliberately turned those feelings on to enjoy nights like that. It didn't mean anything more.

"You know I was expecting you to be rougher," Lizzie admitted, that having been on her mind. Her only other experience of having sex with a vampire definitely had been. Hope had been almost tender though, and while some of that was surely Hope's own inexperience she hadn't done anything she was uncomfortable with. If anything Lizzie had been the one leading how things had gone, with Hope being a very receptive partner.

Hope's eyes darkened momentarily at that, before she pushed the feeling back down. "I don't need to be. I'm not some hundred year old vampire trying to prove how dangerous they are against a teenage girl. I don't need to show you I'm in control."

Lizzie didn't really know how to reply to that, she had just said it off hand, not having meant anything by it. But there was a lot more truth to what she was saying than she wanted to admit. Hope wasn't even supposed to have emotions right now and she had still felt more loved and wanted having sex with her than she ever had with Sebastian. Pushing that away, she thought about something else, "Oh god, Josie's going to murder me if she ever finds out we had sex."

Hope laughed at that, able to see Lizzie's point. "Let's just hope she doesn't try to set you on fire. I like this house." Sure she was fireproof, but the house and Lizzie weren't and she'd hate to lose either of them. "I do kind of want to see you're mom's reaction though, I think her and my dad used to have a thing."

"Ew, no. I do not want to think about our parents being together," Lizzie said, face scrunched up in disgust. Yeah, she had picked up on that too, from comments made by her parents and their friends, but did not want to think about it. "And well, while I may be a lot like my mom, I don't think you're that much like Klaus."

"Maybe. Although I did just sleep with someone that tried to kill me. That's a very Klaus thing to do. Hell, that's basically how I was conceived," Hope said, before pausing as she realized something. Tilting her head to the side she asked Lizzie what she thought, "You don't think this means that there's some other monstrosity out there that Nature needs something new to kill, right?"

"What?" Lizzie asked blandly, not knowing what Hope was talking about.

"Well the only way I can think to make a tribrid stronger would be if they were a siphoner as well," Hope explained, although it wasn't doing much for helping Lizzie understand what she was talking about. "So maybe Nature took advantage of us sleeping together so a Heretic Tribrid could be born."

Lizzie just stared at her deadpan, "Hope… you're kind of missing something necessary to knock me up." And being a vampire should make it impossible anyways. But that had been the case for both of Hope's parents as well…

Hope nodded slightly, conceding that point, "You would know, given how often your face was down there."

"Hope!"

"Hey I'm just saying. If you suddenly get a craving for blood-covered pickles or chocolate-covered fingers let me know. Nature always finds a way." She really hoped it hadn't this time though, if only because of how annoying she could imagine a pregnant Lizzie being. Especially as it would be practically guaranteed to be twins given her Gemini heritage which would only make it worse.

"You couldn't have just asked me how I wanted my eggs like a normal one-night stand?" Lizzie asked, before seeing Hope about to say something more. "No. Don't make that joke. It's beneath you."

"Speaking of being beneath me…" Hope opted for instead, smiling as Lizzie groaned. "I'm going to get a shower, want to join me?"

"Are you serious?" Lizzie asked, following Hope with her eyes as the tribrid got up from the bed. She had kind of been assuming that last night was a one time thing.

"Very," Hope said, undoing her robe as she walked. Pausing at the door she turned back to Lizzie, "If you change your mind, you can join me before I finish." And as a last invitation she let her robe fall to the floor as she disappeared past the doorway, giving Lizzie only an instant's look at what was on offer.

Letting herself fall back onto the bed Lizzie let out a loud groan. Stupid, sexy, teasing Tribrid. She had to know what that was doing to her. But she also knew that it wasn't a good idea to join her. Last night had been a mistake. A hot, wonderful, best sex she'd ever had mistake. And one she couldn't be repeating, there was just no way that would end well.

While trying to sort out her thoughts and build up her resolve the sound of the water starting hit her ears, followed shortly by a slightly different sounds as it hit Hope's skin. All to easily she could picture Hope under the hot water, hands running down her body. Wait was she… focusing Lizzie listened for the new sound she could hear, before blushing heavily. That bitch! Hope knew that she could hear her and she was… The last of her resolve broke as she heard Hope give a low moan, Lizzie throwing the covers back and moving with vampire speed to join her. Sure it was probably a bad decision but she had made worse decisions before. And they weren't nearly as enticing as a wet and naked Hope was.

Author's Note: Done. I think that'll be all for this story. Maybe if I get something very interesting in the next episode I'll continue it but it's harder to make it line up with canon after Hope and Lizzie have had sex. Which was the whole point of this story. I've had the last scene mostly written since 4x09, just wanted to wait and see how they interacted before I wrote a full story. Because No Humanity Hope and Heretic Lizzie sleeping together always had a high chance of happening. The sire-bond actually made it more complicated but there was some fun to be had there too, and as long as I made it clear that wasn't why they were sleeping together it was fine. So leave some reviews, favorites, and keep an eye out for my other works as I tend to write way to much for this show.
