Kingsley is an exceptionally powerful wizard, which is no surprise considering he held the Head Auror position before being elected the Minister. Upon Voldemort's defeat, it was Kingsley that helped Harry pick up the remaining pieces of his life and stopped him from spiraling down into a deep depression. He encouraged Harry to continue his muggle studies so that he may have a choice with what he wanted to do once he finished with Hogwarts.
Kingsley remains to this day a close confidant to one Harrison Potter whom will always feel extreme gratefulness towards.
