By the time Mitsuki, Masaru, and Inko had made their way to Aldera, a small collection of police officers had gathered, led by a familiar detective. As he turned around and noticed the three barreling towards the scene, he gave them a small smile and waved wordlessly.
"Oh, Mr. Tsukauchi, thank god!" His Wednesday coffee buddy exclaimed with a panicked voice. "Have you seen Izu? He's been out for hours and hasn't come back! I'm so worried…"
"Actually, Mrs. Midoriya, he's why we're here." The detective held up Izuku's backpack in one hand and a small, cylindrical device in the other. "We got a call earlier about someone suspicious up on the roof and when we arrived, all that was left was a crater, his bag, and what seems to be an EMP device."
"An EMP?" Mitsuki piped up. "The hell is that?!"
"An EMP is an electromagnetic pulse, usually used in this case to disable electronics on a certain frequency or in a certain vicinity. Based on these facts, along with the limited information the caller could give, we have concluded that… well…" Tsukauchi started to choke up a little. While he hadn't known Izuku for too long or too personally, he did enjoy their occasional discussions. He didn't want to say it or believe it for that matter, but there isn't much other explanation.
"Oh god. Y-you mean he may have… j-jumped?" Mitsuki stammered out with tears staining her cheeks. Her admission of the unspoken likelihood elicited gasps from Masaru and Inko while the detective could only nod and look to the asphalt below them.
Inko's world went dark as she fell to her hands and knees, mindlessly shaking her head back and forth. She wanted to scream, she wanted to punch Naomasa for such a ludicrous suggestion, but all she could do was let the burning droplets of water fall to the ground beneath her with nothing but sharp, raspy breaths of grief and agony. The other three didn't dare touch her, fearing she would shatter like glass.
Detective Tsukauchi broke the silence with a shaky cough. "There's only one thing that doesn't make sense: the crater. There was no evidence of a fight, but on our way, we saw an abnormally large bolt of lightning strike around here. Even still, lightning shouldn't be able to make a crater. While we are assuming Izuku to be gone, we will consider him missing and search for him for a while or until we can find concrete evidence of his passing."
By this point, both of the older Bakugous had gotten the strength to kneel and hug their heartbroken friend. Masaru, always the calmer and pragmatic of the pair, looked up to the detective and gave a small smile and nod. "Thank you, Tsukauchi. We'll be searching, too." Looking back to his wife and dear friend, his expression changed to one of determination. "I don't think Izuku's dead. I can't grasp why I feel so strongly, but something isn't right about this. He's out there somewhere."
Just as Masaru finished speaking his thoughts, everyone heard a loud crashing sound alongside a startlingly loud grunt of pain. Inko's head shot up instinctively and looked to the sound with wide, hopeful eyes. "Th-there's no way, but that voice… that has to be Izuku!"

Izuku remembered watching a lot of pre-quirk era movies as a child. He was a huge fan of the Marvel movies up to around Avengers: Endgame, and funnily enough, he was a huge fan of Thor. He had done some light research on Norse mythology after watching the Thor films, but not too much. He knew he probably couldn't fly, but he did remember Thor achieved a method of pseudo-flight by flinging his hammer around everywhere. Would that work for him?
"Uh-oh… sirens. Well, hope for the best!" Izuku thought aloud, trying his best to avoid panicking as he started to spin Mjölnir around rapidly. Once he felt like he had enough momentum, he flung his arm up at an angle and started soaring with remarkable speed. Did the sudden gaining of the hammer make him stronger? He'd have to check in the mirror when he got home. Right now, he had to figure out how to land right. Thankfully, it seemed like the police cruisers he could see didn't notice him "flying" away, and he breathed a huge sigh of relief.
"Thank god they didn't notice me- OH SHIT!" A huge crash sounded, though not loud enough to be heard over the sirens as they seemed to stop moving. Distracted by the relief of not being tailed, Izuku had neglected to brace for impact and hit the base of an abandoned building a few blocks away. As he got up, groaning, he took a bit to examine his physique.
"How did I not notice my clothes…?" The green-haired boy asked himself. Indeed, his attire had changed radically. From his tattered school clothes, his outfit resembled that of a cross between the MCU's Thor and a traditional Norse wear. He had on a jet black breastplate with a red cape wrapped around his arms in such a way as to not restrict his movement while also looking regal and proper. He had the six discs on his breastplate from the movies and comics as well, along with a notably heavy silver belt around his waist that seemed to keep the crimson cloth in place.
Speaking of the heaviness of the belt, he felt stronger overall. Finding a mirror in the building relatively fast, he inspected what he could. What he saw left his eyes wide, mouth agape, and lips slightly curled into a smile; his muscles were larger and much more defined.
"It seems as though whatever magic or divine action that brought the Mjölnir to me also gave me some sort of royal or divine uniform…" He started to mutter to himself. "…and amplified my physical form to accommodate for the weight of the outfit and the hammer itself. I guess that would also explain why I broke through the concrete of this building so easily without much damage to myself outside of the soreness. Question is, am I now at my natural peak, or is this purely a mystic augmentation?"
It took a lot longer than he would care to admit, but he finally took notice of the lack of sirens. Immediately upon realizing this, Izuku ran and swung Mjölnir as hard as he could. Unfortunately, he forgot that he was a lot stronger now and started to scream the moment he left the ground, landing about a block further than when he intended. It just so happened that a half-constructed abandoned house was right in his way as well, so all the debris fell on top of him once he made contact with the plot of land.

"Hey, detective?" Officer Sansa said to Tsukauchi, who turned to look at his friend and coworker. "Wasn't there a building here before? It was abandoned for years, but it was still standing I thought."
"You're right, Sansa," replied the detective. "Everyone, start clearing out the rubble! Izuku Midoriya may be here!"
Without any hesitation, the entirety of the small police unit alongside Inko and the Bakugou elders started cleaning up the mess in hopes of finding the lost boy. It didn't take long, but it wasn't anyone's clean-up effort that revealed their target. With a groan of pain, Izuku broke up effortlessly from the materials covering him, cradling his head in one hand with the other subconsciously dusting off some of the dirt and glass. The next thing he knew, he was tightly hugged by the three parental figures, tears flowing from them all.
"Oh my god, Izuku, I'm so glad you're okay!" Inko managed to say through her sobs of relief. "W-we thought you tried to kill yourself!"
Hearing that from his mother made him visibly wince, which took everyone by surprise. Detective Tsukauchi knelt to the greenette's side and put a hand on his shoulder, immediately pressing the issue. "Izuku, did you?" After a moment, the boy slowly nodded. True. Without another word, he gently embraced the young one with Inko, Mitsuki, and Masaru for only a few seconds.
"While I have to report that, there's another pressing matter we must attend to." He broke the silence while standing upright. "I assume you have something to do with the blast of light earlier? Considering this new attire, and the… somehow familiar-looking hammer, you probably were the cause as well."
While listening to the detective's shift in topic, Izuku considered everything that had happened throughout the day and in the near past. While his instincts were screaming at him to just say it already, he wanted to make sure nothing was missed that could explain this event. There's no way this is a quirk, right?
Izuku's eyes closed as he began to concentrate, his brows furrowing as he silently raised Mjölnir to the sky, calling upon the power he felt building deep inside. Almost as quickly as everyone looked up to look at the hammer, storm clouds formed and an intense bolt of lightning came crashing down onto the hammer. The greenette's now wholly-white eyes opened into an intense, bone-chilling glare aimed at the crowd, whose mouths had already collectively dropped as they too realized what this meant.
