"You have to be fucking kidding me. You're a literal god?" Aizawa was nearly speechless. Thunder, the admittedly godlike vigilante, was the God of Thunder. It somehow made no sense at all and all the sense in the world at the same time.

Izuku nodded. "I'll pay for the replacement binds, by the way. I'm sorry for destroying them, but you can probably understand I can't be arrested." His face shows a pang of sincere guilt for the needless obliteration of Aizawa's capture weapon.

"Well, if you really are who you say you are…" Aizawa replied. "You don't seem to have a quirk, so you can't even be arrested for vigilantism in that case. You don't have a quirk, right? Or at the very least, you didn't use your quirk?"

This line of questioning elicited a nervous chuckle from the viridian-haired boy. The sudden shift from an imposing divine pressure to the disposition of an anxious child gave the hero pause; but at the same time, this behavior validated the truth of his claim to godhood.

"Th-that's right, sir, I'm quirkless. I only gained this power eight months ago, so it's still relatively new to me. Since I don't have a quirk, I can't enroll in U.A. as a heroics student and better learn how to use my powers to protect, so I decided to dive into the real world directly. I guess you could call it a sort of divine call to action?"

In response, Aizawa just stood there staring, completely speechless by what he just heard. "You are definitely a problem child, kid."

Now it was Izuku's turn to stare at the other party like they just grew a second head. "E-excuse me?"

Aizawa's palm connected harshly with his forehead before sliding down his face and returning to his side. "Never mind that. Kiddo, you may not have a quirk, but you have something almost infinitely stronger than any quirk: your powers are literally divine! You'd be nigh-unstoppable if you were to become a hero." He then paused and chose his next words carefully. "Your reasoning may be right on the grounds that you shouldn't become a hero, but only because you're supposed to be a god. I still think you should attend U.A. all the same."

At first, Izuku began to grow excited, thinking his dreams were about to be validated by his second favorite hero. His eyes flashed a look of heartbreak and understanding for only a moment when Eraserhead confirmed he shouldn't become a hero even with his powers. This didn't last long, as his expression turned to one of ecstatic joy upon his thoughts on attending U.A. "R-really?"

Aizawa failed to stifle a chuckle at his response, not missing the dejected expression that disappeared almost as fast as the lightning he commands but choosing to file that away for later. "You know how to get to U.A., right?" Following the question, his potential new student nodded, so Aizawa continued. "Then come as you are tomorrow morning before classes usually start, got it? You can tell your family, but try not to talk about it or be seen otherwise."

"Good luck, Izu. I'm so proud of you." Inko couldn't help but beam at her son as he readied himself to take flight. Never in a million years after his diagnosis so many years ago did she think her little Izuku would have a chance at getting into U.A. The circumstances may be different compared to any other possible reason, but at least it was a good reason.

"I love you, Mom. I'll be back later, and I'll be safe." Izuku returned his mother's bright smile, albeit with a bit of smugness in the last four words. After she chuckled in response, the two waved to each other before Izuku swung Mjölnir up into the sky, dragging the rest of the greenette with it as it soared towards U.A. He got up a little earlier in the morning to do some extra research on U.A.'s location in relation to his home so he could calculate how much strength and at what angle to aim his ascent so he'd land right around the entrance.

In the eight months he'd had his new powers, Izuku had learned to properly fly with Mjölnir. No more crashing, no more failed estimates, and no more overestimation or underestimation of his power output. He finally felt comfortable with his new strength and his abilities, allowing him to travel at high speeds with precision. It was only a couple of minutes before he landed a few yards in front of U.A.'s entrance gate. He certainly wasn't expecting Aizawa to be waiting for him and leaning against the towering arch, though.

"You're a little earlier than I expected, kid. You almost beat me. Nice job with your formal first impression." A smirk was visible under Aizawa's new capture weapon. "Thanks for your offer last night, but on my salary, I can easily afford a new weapon."

"It was the right thing to do since I was the one who broke it," Izuku replied with a raised eyebrow. "I'm in a position to serve the people, not inconvenience them."

"Tell that to both the police force and my face when we were tracking you for months thinking you were a vigilante," The tired man said with a sigh. He smirked again as Izuku looked to the ground. "It's not a problem, kid, don't worry. Just messing with you."

"I had a feeling, Eraser."

"Just call me Aizawa from now on, kid. I should probably get your name, too, though."

"O-oh, right! I'm Izuku Midoriya." The boy said shyly, completely forgetting to introduce himself for a lot longer than he should have.

"Good. Now that I have a name, let's go." Aizawa motioned for Izuku to follow him as he started to walk towards the huge campus building.

"Where exactly are we headed, anyway, Mr. Aizawa?" Questioned Izuku as he jogged up to his senior and kept pace with him from then on.

"We're going to see Principal Nedzu about an emergency enrollment into U.A. as a hero course student. I briefed him on the situation about twenty minutes before you arrived, so he knows we're coming."

An audible gulp escaped from Izuku at this notion. "D-does that mean he knows about… you-know-what?"

Aizawa wasn't expecting that reaction, but then again most people would get anxious if they had to meet with the rat. He was a very smart and dangerous individual that could intimidate almost anyone with just the mention of his name. He chuckled as he answered the question. "I decided to just mention that you were Thunder. I left out your quirklessness and divine power. I want to see if I can finally get one up on that arrogant rodent."

The only appropriate response Izuku could think of was to burst out laughing, which is exactly what he did. Never did he think that Eraserhead would have intellectual beef with Nedzu and try to pull a fast one on him. He enjoyed the idea, though. He had to admit to himself that he was curious about how Nedzu would react when the secret was revealed.

It didn't take long before the pair were in front of Nedzu's office. Just as Aizawa was about to knock on the door, a stern but cheerful voice was heard from the inside. "Just come on in, Shouta!"

With a dissatisfied grunt, Aizawa opened the door, dragging his new problem child in alongside him. Both of them sat down in empty seats as the rodent spun his chair to face them. Try as he might, Nedzu couldn't hide his raised eyebrows, surprised by the age of the vigilante.

"I'll be honest, I wasn't expecting you to be this young given your power, Thunder. It's a good thing you didn't become a villain!" Those cold, incalculable eyes combined with his chipper demeanor made both Izuku and Aizawa shudder. The latter made a quick recovery, however, and got straight to the point.

"I want Izuku Midoriya – Thunder, I just found out his name this morning – placed into Class 1-A starting this coming semester. No application, no exam, no bullshit. I want him in, effective immediately."

"W-wait what?!" Izuku sputtered, dropping Mjölnir onto the ground with a loud thud. Nedzu's expression gave nothing away, but he did respond with a confused tilt of his head.

"You don't normally make exceptions for anyone, Aizawa. You've piqued my interest with this demand. I'm not convinced, though. If you tell me why this young man should be given emergency admission, I may consider granting it. He could just go through the standard vigilante rehabilitation program, after all."

A smirk slid onto Aizawa's face without any hesitation. This smirk seemed to hit deep, as while Izuku was unfazed considering he saw a similar smile when he and the hero were walking on school grounds, Nedzu noticeably flinched. Could Mr. Aizawa have actually scared Nedzu?

"I'll let actions speak this time, sir." Right as Shouta finished his sentence, he lunged after Izuku, quirk activated and capture weapon elongated. Without missing a beat, Izuku summoned Mjölnir back into his hand and blocked the weapon, kicking the chair up and towards his senior. Good, the problem child took the cue. Aizawa thought to himself. Now let me see if I can surprise the damn rat again.

Aizawa leaped over the chair and managed to wrap Izuku's hammer-wielding hand in his weapon this time. Izuku freed two of his fingers and gripped the scarf with them as he yanked his arm backward, shredding the tape after making sure the hero attached to the other end was being pulled in as well; To the god's surprise, however, Aizawa had planned for this as he shot his weapon again and connected with Izuku's torso, wrapping him up much like their first encounter. Aizawa turned to face Nedzu, with Izuku following his lead. The rat had sat motionless the entire time and his smile had faded a while ago.

"While that was an impressive display, Shouta, all you did was show that Midoriya has more experience than a kid his age would normally have and that he has an impressive support item."

"Excuse me?" Izuku interjected with a glare that gave even Nedzu pause. "I know Mr. Aizawa didn't tell you this, and I mean no true disrespect to you, but even still I'm heavily offended that you dare to call Mjölnir a support item! This is a weapon crafted for the gods, sir."

Before Nedzu could respond, both combatants returned their gazes to one another. Aizawa reactivated his quirk and the two grinned. Izuku then spoke. "Allow me to show you a power that no quirk could ever hope to match." Within a few seconds, the clouds across the sky had darkened. Then, an ear-splitting crackle echoed through the room as a lightning bolt struck Izuku, shredding the scarf and sending both Aizawa and Nedzu careening backward. The former managed to regain control of himself and landed properly, but the latter was slammed against the wall with a half-scream of pain.

With a look upward at the now partially-destroyed ceiling of the building – one Nedzu had commissioned himself to be resistant to all quirks to the point where even All Might would struggle to break through – and a look back down to the only standing person in the room gave the rodent the information he needed.

"That's not a quirk… Shouta had his activated and it didn't stop any of your powers…" For once in Aizawa's life, he saw a glint of fear in Nedzu's eyes. It was a bittersweet victory, however, as the predominant look in said eyes was one of intrigue.

"You win, Aizawa. Izuku Midoriya will be admitted into the U.A. hero course student in class 1-A starting next week. You're lucky we have one open space."
