Pulling up to the front gate, John opened his mouth, "Holy shit Michael, she lives on a fucking estate and has a private street for us to get here? How did a village boy end up with a girl like this," he chuckled. Arthur chimed in, "you must be giving her the good good all night long if they keep you around." Polly annoyed from their ignorance said, "shut up you bloody idiots." As the front gate opened, the guard came up to the window, "Hello Mr. Michael we welcome you and your family here tonight. Welcome back we missed having you around." "Thank you John," Michael responded and tipped his hat and the rest of the Shelby clan pulled in with their 3 cars. The Shelby family in awe of what they were seeing all go out of the car and went to the front door. Opening up immediately, "Hello Mr. Michael welcome back we missed you so much. Jessica was a mess without you," the older maid spoke. "Thank you Jan, I missed being here as well." Come in she ushered to the family, "I will go get Mr. Swavorski."
They waited a minute and an older man walked up to them. "Michael I am so glad to have you back," he said opening his arms to embrace him in a hug. "Thank you for inviting my family here today. This is Jessica's father, Janik Swavorski," Michael turned to them. "Michael why don't you take the boys outback with you, Jessica is in the pool with some of the girls, they will be leaving before dinner. Do you need swimsuits? Mary can get them for you. Thank god you got here you know I love my daughter, but she talks way too much." The whole group chucked. Mr. Swavorski continued," She gave me the meanest headache this morning going on and on how I should have made dinner earlier, where's Michael, Michaels so handsome in a suit you should have seen him, blah blah blah. I almost chopped my ears off. But, don't tell her I said that you know she will yell at me," he continued laughing. Michael, Finn, and Isiah went to the back.
Janik ushered the rest of the Shelby family into his office. "Thomas Shelby, Ada Shelby, John Shelby, Arthur Shelby, Polly Gray" introductions were made. Tommy spoke first, "Mr. Swavorski, I don't know much about you, if you could please tell us." He spoke, "As you already know, I am the head of the Polish Mafia, I worked my way up my whole life and when I met my wife we moved to America. 3 boys and 1 daughter later, unfortunately my wife fell ill and we lost her when Jessica was 5. I moved the family here and in the past few years my sons have moved back to America to run our business while I do the European business and see over what they are doing. Thats why Jessica has no accent." Before he could continue Polly chimed in. "Sorry to cut you off, but some of us are wondering how my son who was living in a village ended up with your daughter who seems wonderful, but you guys have all this money." Janik laughed at her bluntness. "For the record," he stated, "I would not want anyone else with my daughter, but your son. He is smart, kind, and so loving towards her. So about a year ago, Jessica got into a fight with one of her brothers and she stormed off in one of our cars. She didn't know it, but the car tire was losing air and she broke down outside of his village. She said that this boy was walking and stopped to help her and she gave him a ride home. That night I thought my ears were going to bleed from all I heard about this village boy." The group laughed and Tommy smiled. "I told her tomorrow go back and bring him a thank you basket and ask him to come over for dinner. So the next day she went over and we had him at dinner. I remember after dinner was when I knew your son was special. I had never seen my daughter smile or laugh the way she had. Losing her mother had been hard, but Michael did what none of us could do and that was make her truly happy. He is good to her and we have talked about him wanting to make her an honest woman and marry her someday. I have been grooming Michael for the past year to be apart of this life," Janik pointed to himself and Tommy, "And I know this lifestyle is what he can manage. But lets talk more business."
Meanwhile outside, Michael, Finn, and Isiah had walked out back. "Holy shit Michael look at that pool, look at this backyard," Finn amazed. "Look at the girls," Isiah pointed out. In a pool in the backyard were 3 girls, Jessica and 2 friends. "Your sex life must be great with your girl looking like that," Isiah hit Michael laughing. Michael responded, "We haven't done it yet. She isn't ready. She wants it to be perfect and I want it to be perfect for her because it will be her first time and I plan on being the only guy she will be with. Besides, if her brothers knew what I was thinking right now seeing her in that bikini they would kill me," the 3 of them laughed and moved towards the girl. "Jessica loverboy is here," Michael heard one of the girls say. Jess turned around and walked out of the pool and ran up to Michael throwing her arms around his neck. "I missed you," she said kissing him. Pulling away she looked at the boys, "Come in the water it's beautiful."
The boys ran and jumped in and moved to the end where the girls were. After introducing themselves they watched Jessica and Michael from afar on the other side of the pool. "So whats your friends deal? How did my cousin end up with a girl like her," Finn questioned. "A girl like her?" Jess's friend Isabel asked. "Well," Finn continued, "A village boy with a girl who comes from this much money," he said has he pointed at all that was on the estate. Her friend Mary chimed in, "Your boy over there is head over heals in love with our friend and vice versa. They are sickening at times with how lovey they are," the girls laughed. Jessica's back was up against the wall of the pool and Michael had both arms on the sides of pool wall towering over her. "You're so beautiful," he said watching her smile grow with his words. As he went in to drop a kiss on her lips they were interrupted by a maid in the house. "Miss Jessica, dinner will be ready in 15 minutes, your father said your friends need to go as this dinner will just be you and Michaels family." "Thank you Clara we will be in soon," Jessica responded. Everybody got out of the pool and the girls left while the rest went inside to change.
