Hello, UltimateDemonBeast65 here again with the next chapter of MVA: Symbiote's Justice! Once again thank you everyone who has supported and followed the story, I appreciate it very much. One detail I also forgot to mention and explain in the previous chapter was Toga/Carnage's moniker of "Blood Hunter". This is a reference to the 1997 Venom script written as a movie pitch by David S. Goyer where Carnage is part of a pack of red symbiote predators called Blood Hunters, and I thought that would be a cool moniker for the both of them to have. Now let us get onto the responses to reviews.
Trux-Killer: Read the chapter and find out, viewer.
Greer123: It does seem like that, doesn't it?
Crossroads of Illusion: You will just have to wait and see.
KiddoIsTheBest: Thank you for joining my group of viewers, I hope you enjoy the rest of the chapters currently available!
Austin: Tokoyami wasn't captured, he was freed. And thank you for the wonderful review as always.
Azatoht2006: Translation of your response: "Does Sleeper know of the does that mean there will be one in this fic in the future or is it just a mention of his knowledge of the klintarian hive."
I am not exactly sure of what you're asking, but thanks anyway.
With that out of the way, enjoy the chapter!
The news about the attack on the training camp spread like wildfire throughout the whole country. Many news and media outlets were discussing how U.A. High had yet again failed to protect their students, leading to Bakugo being captured by them. Some sites and blogs even theorized that they captured Bakugo in an attempt to recruit him, given that his violent, ruthless and petty nature at the Sports Festival made people dislike him or his attitude, even wondering if he was more suited to being a Villain than a Hero given the situation. Suffice to say, the League of Villains were able to create seeds of doubt and disillusion in the public's mind about the school and Pro Heroes in general.
Eddie had slowly and rapidly recovered from his injuries after feeding Venom a fair dose of Phenethylamine enriched food, though paramedics still treated his wounds before his symbiote companion could properly regain his strength. Unfortunately when they were capturing and detaining the Villains who were defeated at the camp, the authorities discovered Muscular's dead body which had a missing head and both arms torn off, which didn't take Detective Tsukauchi long to figure out that Eddie and Venom were the cause of the Villain's death and after they were sure he had recovered well enough, they took him in for interrogation alongside interviewing Aizawa and Vlad King on what had happened.
Eddie had a lot on his mind, as he thought about how Bakugo had been captured and how there was another Carnage loose in this universe, free to cause chaos and bloodshed. He almost forgot he was in an interrogation room, as Tsukauchi attempted to question him about his actions while Aizawa and Vlad King were also in the room with them to add more context to their story.
"Mr. Brock…Mr. Brock!" Tsukauchi called out, getting Eddie's attention.
"Oh, right, yes…uh, can you repeat that for me?" Eddie asked awkwardly.
"We found the dead and mutilated body of the A-Class Villain Muscular near a cave on the Wild Wild Pussycats' land. His arms were torn off and his head was missing, the coroner noting that the cuts around the neck were eerily similar to the bite of a large predator. So I suggest you save us some trouble and tell us why you decided it was a good idea to get involved?"
"Well for one, Aizawa made me promise to do something if the camp was attacked." Eddie replied.
"I admit to asking Brock to protect the students in case of a Villain attack, given Venom had suspicions of one happening on camp." Aizawa added. "But I also didn't tell you to eat a Villain."
"And you proceeded to do so anyway, risking your chance of remaining a free man." Vlad King chimed in.
"Did you not think of what would have happened if any of the kids saw you do that, how traumatizing that would have been?" Tsukauchi asked, before Venom then sprouted out of Eddie and let out a small cough.
"That Muscular guy was a scumbag, he was going to kill that boy!" Venom argued. "You really think psychos like that deserve to be kept alive? Hell no, I did you all a favour and yet you jail us up like we're the bad guys here!"
"No one, especially Pro Heroes, has the right to take the lives of Villains! If the Commission finds out about you being at that camp and what you did, they would never let you see the light of day again!" Vlad King exclaimed.
"Your current list of victims is now up to three, meaning legally speaking you'd be classified as a serial killer!" Tsukauchi explained. "But I also know your story, and despite the crimes you've committed I would prefer that you find a way back to your universe. We want to keep you out of Tartarus, but we can't do that if you breach the contract you signed with the Commission and U.A."
"I'm not a deranged maniac, Tsukauchi, I don't enjoy most of the violence I take part in, unless it ends up helping other people." Eddie said. "But it is my body Venom is doing these things with, and I will take responsibility in that I am his host. But I also don't regret having him kill Muscular, a guy like that should have gotten the death penalty years ago, and yet you all thought putting him in a maximum security prison was automatically going to make things better. Imagine if a guy like him broke out, how many innocent people that are now going to be spared because we choose to take one life to save so many others."
"Do you seriously believe that you of all people should be allowed the chance to do that? That's quite arrogant and cold-blooded of you, Brock! We can't just execute Villains even if it would be more beneficial." Vlad King argued.
"Hasn't the Commission assassinated people in the past though? What gives them the right to do that and then condemn Heroes from doing the same?!" Venom fired back angrily. "If there's one thing that I still can't understand about humans, it's how hypocritical they are about killing!"
Vlad King gritted his teeth, though didn't have a response for Venom's argument. Meanwhile, Tsukauchi and Aizawa were silent upon hearing Eddie's explanation, noting how boldly he spoke, and his demeanour was completely serious. The two couldn't exactly fault him and Venom for doing what was honestly a pragmatic and much safer thing to do, but as a Pro Hero and man of the law they also couldn't just ignore the fact that he broke the law. Rather than press the issue further, Tsukauchi and the others decided to move on.
"We also have reason to believe that you have a connection with one of the Villains that was in the attack, a Himiko Toga to be precise, who is believed to be linked to several unsolved murders where victims had their blood stolen." Tsukauchi explained.
"I don't want to talk about it!" Venom shouted before turning away like a pouty child.
"Come on, man, this is your problem too." Eddie argued.
"And it's that fiery asshole Endeavour's problem too! He shot off the pieces of me that made that new spawn!" Venom argued back.
"New spawn? What do you mean by that?" Aizawa asked.
"So you were able to see the girl's Quirk in action?" Vlad King curiously.
"Except it wasn't her Quirk." Eddie said. "It was Carnage, or at least a new Carnage."
"Carnage?" Tsukauchi asked. "I don't believe you've mentioned anyone with that name before."
"Because we didn't think we'd have to mention them again, even though it technically isn't them, or whatever." Eddie said, scratching his head.
"So long story short, a convicted killer named Cletus Kasady was going to be executed after we found the bodies of his victims, Kasady invited Eddie to watch only to insult us and he bit Eddie's hand!" Venom tried to explain.
"Because you attacked him and exposed yourself!" Eddie added in.
"Can you just get to the damn point already?" Aizawa asked impatiently.
"Kasady swallowed a piece of me and it merged with his blood, becoming a new symbiote we came to known as Carnage, and they tried to kill the both of us and all of San Francisco, but we were able to finally kill the both of them and save the city, but then we became fugitives and then you know the rest!" Venom finished explaining.
"And are you saying that this Carnage has returned and is now with this Himiko Toga?" Vlad King asked.
"No, they're not the same one from before, Endeavour burnt a part of Venom off and apparently this Toga girl drank it, and now there's a new Carnage, except they're a girl and even more dangerous than the original one!" Eddie replied.
"How is it that this spawn is stronger than Venom?" Vlad King asked.
"They're symbiotes, and from what I know about them in nature is that they not only survive by bonding with a host but also through adapting and evolving based on their surroundings and experiences." Aizawa explained. "So if one as strong as Venom produces offspring or offshoots of himself, then they would possess strength and adaptability several times greater than their parent."
"So Carnage could potentially cause the same amount of destruction and chaos as an S-Rank Villain, especially with a cunning and resourceful criminal like Toga." Tsukauchi said with a sweat drop running down his face.
"What's worse is that girl has symbiosis with my evil daughter, and so now they are in sync and will grow stronger faster." Venom remarked with a hint of fear in his voice.
"Then we need to go out there and hunt Toga down so that she and Carnage can't attack and eat more civilians!" Vlad King exclaimed.
"No, we'll hunt her down." Eddie insisted.
"Are you insane? After what you did, you're lucky to still be out of prison!" Vlad King objected.
"We were careless, running away from Endeavour, and now Carnage is going to destroy Tokyo as well if we don't find her and fast!" Eddie insisted.
"Himiko Toga is our responsibility, Mr. Brock, and her fate must be decided by our authorities." Tsukauchi stated.
"We're not going to eat a child, dumbass!" Venom roared. "I'm not a monster despite what you all think!"
"All we're going to do is find her, rip that red and black bitch off her and swallow her like a bunch of stretchy gooey cheese off a pizza." Eddie, describing it in an awkward way. "Then after that, you guys can arrest Toga."
"But Mr. Brock, if we let you go out there, you'd be risking being sent to-"
"This is not negotiable!" Both Eddie and Venom said in sync as he rose from his seat and broke off the handcuffs placed while transforming. "You can have the girl, but Carnage is ours! Stay out of our way, or we will show why we are called the Lethal Protector!"
Tsukauchi rose up to draw his pistol while Vlad King readied one of his Blood Ejecting Gloves, to which Venom just drove through the nearest wall and dashed into the streets. Aizawa looked on as he saw the Lethal Protector go off and hunt down Toga while Vlad King and Tsukauchi attempted to go after him and radio reinforcement.
"Let them go for now." Aizawa said, surprising the two.
"What are you playing at, Aizawa? You already allowed him to break the law once." Vlad King said.
"To deal with Carnage, we'll need those two's help regardless." Aizawa explained. "Let them track Toga down and then we can move in and take all four of them in."
"But we already have means of using fire and sound against their kind, what difference does it make?" Tsukauchi asked.
"Do you think they're stupid enough to just let us attack with fire and sound given they know it's lethal to them? Not to mention they'll become more resistant to it the stronger they get, so it's safer and less reckless to have Venom take Carnage down instead." Aizawa replied. "Though I cross the line at killing, we do need to use them if we're going to be able to bring in all of the League's members."
"You're playing a dangerous game here, Aizawa, allowing Brock and his alien monster to be used as a weapon." Vlad King remarked.
"If they ever do end up back in their universe, they would be a fugitive of the law again, so I'm going to look the other way for once." Aizawa said before turning around. "You can choose to follow them, but then you'd be wasting time while we have a student and a hideout to find."
Tsukauchi took one last look outside the hole made by Venom before letting out a sigh as he decided to call up All-Might while Vlad King and Aizawa sat down.
"Sorry, what is it, Tsukauchi?" All-Might asked.
"We've finally finished taking comprehensive statements from Aizawa, Vlad King and Mr. Brock. And I think we've found something." Tsukauchi replied.
"I see, but what about Brock and Venom? Are they still in your custody?" All-Might asked.
"It's a long story which I'll tell you about in person, but anyway It's possible that we might have a lead on where the League of Villains is hiding." Tsukauchi replied.
"Really?! Are you serious?!" All-Might exclaimed.
"Yeah. About two weeks ago, I sent an officer to gather information." Tsukauchi explained. "A bystander pointed out that he'd seen a man with a patchwork face enter a building that was supposed to be vacant. The man looked to be in his twenties but we couldn't find any plausible matches when we checked criminal records. We spoke with the owner of the building though and found out there is some sort of hidden bar there. My man thought this was unrelated to our kidnapping case and didn't investigate further, but remember the description of that Villain from the attack? He had a patchwork face. Given the profile of this plan, we'll move as soon as we get the green light. This is top secret, I'm only telling you because it's you. We plan to ask the cooperation from many Pro Heroes for this rescue and the inevitable clean up for this mission. All-Might, we need your power."
A few moments of silence passed between the two before Tsukauchi spoke up.
"All-Might are you still there?" He asked.
"Tsukauchi, you're a wonderful friend. And I know just what I'll say when I find them!" All-Might said as his muscles grew before he completely changed into his hero form. "I am here, to make you pay for what you've done!"
A few blocks away from the police station, Venom raced up another building before reaching its rooftop, stopping to map out his path in his pursuit of his psychotic offspring. He activated his new sensory power as he scanned the streets, looking at the outlines of each person walking and driving past in order to find any signs of Himiko Toga.
"She's not here either, damn it!" Venom growled as he punched a hole in an air vent next to him.
"We need to keep moving, pal, she's out there." Eddie said before thinking of something. "I mean, she could just be in hiding like the other members of the League."
"But that doesn't help us, because we don't know where they're hiding!" Venom roared in frustration. "No doubt the Pros are organizing some sort of raid when they find their hideout."
"Carnage is our problem, she was born because of our mistake, and I don't want the Pros to take her on, because trying to arrest her and Toga is a baaad idea!" Eddie explained. "Carnage needs to be killed, and then they do whatever they want with Toga, but until then we need to be a Lethal Protector again."
"That's what I'm talking about!" Venom said with glee.
"So we need to track her down before the Pros find her, because Carnage is not going to show mercy, she'll kill anyone that gets in her way." Eddie said with a sigh.
"A shame we couldn't see broccoli boy in the hospital, he was pretty beat up from that Muscular asshole." Venom remarked with a tone of sorrow.
"He was also really upset when they took Bakugo." Eddie commented.
"Why did he care so much about that explosive prick? He did nothing but bully and scare him for years and yet he talks about him like he's his best friend!" Venom exclaimed.
"That's what abuse can do to people, make them believe that they're the ones at fault or that what happened was normal or okay, especially if no one stopped to help him." Eddie said solemnly. "I wish I could have spoken to him more before the camp, but I know that the kid is no doubt angry with me and I don't blame him."
"We can worry about that after we find that bitch and eat her." Venom said, gritting his teeth as he leaped over a few rooftops and kept moving forward.
A lone man sat within a room filled with wires, cables and machinery with the only light sources being from LED monitors and dim bulbs in the roof. The man was tall and broad, wearing a black suit with a white undershirt but no tie, though his most distinguishable feature was how his head was bald and disfigured, a scarred and malformed patch of skin where his eyes and nose should be and his ears were nothing but the openings leading to the eardrum. His face and chest had various IV tubes for nutrients and a larger tube in his trachea for breathing, all of them hooked to life support systems. This man was infamous in the criminal underworld for being what some considered the progenitor of the Age of Heroes and Villains in this world, though once known as Shigaraki, he was now simply All For One, the true mastermind behind the League of Villains.
All For One looked at the monitor in front of him as he was in a video call with a bald old man with a grey bushy moustache and blue eyes. He wore goggles shaped like gears and a white lab coat. He was All For One's oldest confidant and a brilliant but heinous scientist, Dr. Kyudai Garaki, though the public and most people knew him as Daruma Ujiko.
"I heard that brat Tomura was able to capture one of the students at U.A., Katsuki Bakugo if I recall." Garaki said. "I suppose it makes sense given his actions and mannerisms at the Sports Festival were ultimately violent and self-serving, much like most Villains of this era. And yet he joined the Hero Course, so I guess that would mean society would be creating another Endeavour."
"Yes, it is quite perplexing how they would allow such a selfish and undisciplined child into the Hero Course, especially given his history of bullying and abuse towards others, his most frequent victim being Izuku Midoriya, who was believed to be Quirkless upon examination by a local clinic." All For One explained. "But I am highly confident in the fact that he chose the boy to be his successor the same way I chose Tomura to be mine. Regardless, it just goes to show how society will allow injustices to grow and fester so long as the instigator shows potential and power, how ironic that they wish to become a Hero and yet they've spent their childhood doing the exact opposite of what a Hero does."
"By the way, Master, I have the results from that organic matter you had sent to me." Garaki said as he pulled out his notes and files. "I can say without a doubt that this is no Quirk, and that Himiko Toga is the host of a para-symbiotic organism."
"Oh? So it's an entirely separate life form with its own unique abilities and traits while Himiko Toga's own Quirk and capabilities remain separate to it. Could this have been the creation of another Quirk?" All For One asked.
"The molecular structure and genetic code of this specimen matches nothing found on Earth's ecosystem, not even in any Transformation or Mutation Quirks either. This organism, Master, is an extraterrestrial from beyond our planet." Garaki explained.
"A real life alien, how amusing." All For One said with a grin. "Have you figured out its origins?"
"Examination of its cells shows that the organism is nearly over three months old and has no biological gender." Garaki replied.
"Meaning it was born asexually on Earth, and its parent is somewhere in Japan." All For One continued. "The organism from what I have observed and heard bonds to a host and grants them superior levels of strength, speed, stamina and reflexes as well as an accelerated healing factor that allows their host to survive and recover from fatal wounds so long as the symbiote is bonded with them."
"Their organic matter is also quite malleable and flexible, able to shift and alter their constitution and form at will to create weapons and armour." Garaki explained. "I have discovered this by bonding the piece that I was given to animal subjects, observing how it behaved and determined its limitations."
"And what have you discovered about its strengths and weaknesses, Doctor?" All For One asked.
"The symbiote is intelligent enough to learn from its experience and will actually adapt and grow with its host, gaining greater control over its abilities and increases in overall power. A mouse I bonded the organism to could shatter the cage it was inside of on the first day, but when I put it inside a reinforced cage with titanium plating, it slowly but surely chip away at its new prison, and weeks later it finally broke through the titanium, not just through brute force mind you but by actually targeting the gaps between the plating." Garaki explained further. "This alien isn't just strong, it's smart too."
"How did you prevent it from escaping your laboratory if it could learn and grow at such a rapid rate?" All For One asked.
"By observing its original self that is bonded to Himiko Toga, I discovered that the organism and their species in general possesses a vulnerability to forms of heat and sound, preferably fire and sonic weaponry. I used both these components to subdue the subject without killing it and then employed them to control their behaviour and choices within a simulated environment."
"Those are indeed quite specific weaknesses, especially given how many individuals there are with fired and sound based Quirks in the world." All For One said. "And is there any possible way the organism can learn to become immune or resistant to heat and sound?"
"Well not exactly immune, but I did notice that the symbiote developed better tolerance towards it, as I had to increase the volume and intensity at times when it became brave enough to try and escape again." Garaki replied. "Even so with its vulnerabilities, it could potentially be molded into the perfect weapon with the right modifications."
"You've done quite well, Doctor, this symbiote, though having fatal flaws on its own, could be used in tandem with my Quirks to create a line of Nomus that will be unstoppable. All we need to do is trigger the organism's reproduction cycle and perhaps transferring the right Quirk will purge the weakness from their genetic code."
"While that is a good plan in theory, Master, the piece I have in my possession is still only juvenile and might take a while before it can reproduce. I would recommend finding specimens who are adults, much like Himiko Toga's Carnage and their parent, whoever they are." Garaki said, scratching his head.
"Fortunately for you, my friend, I already know the identity of Carnage's father, and they are in Tokyo as we speak…" All For One said, as he turned to one of the monitors, showing the footage from Hosu's CCTV cameras of Venom defeating and eating the Eyeless Nomu.
Back in Kamino, Shigaraki and his League of Villains had Katsuki Bakugo within their grasp, strapped onto a chair and they finished watching the news regarding both the attack on the summer camp and U.A. High and it and Pro Heroes' reputations taking a nosedive. Shigaraki turned the TV off and let out a content chuckle.
"I'm so grateful to the media for the free publicity lately." Shigaraki said as he turned to face Bakugo. "Right? Isn't it nice, Katsuki Bakugo?"
While Bakugo simply glared at Shigaraki, most of the other Villains simply stared or smiled, eager to try and have this short tempered youth join their ranks. Toga however was sitting in the corner of the pair, staring at a conveniently placed mirror, thinking about the fight back at the summer camp. Soon after, Carnage sprouted out of Toga's body and looked in the mirror too.
"Why the long face, sis?" Carnage asked.
"I'm angry, Carnage…" Toga replied in a dark tone.
"And why is that? It is because I didn't let you take a stab at that boy I caught you looking at while we were fighting my deadbeat dad?" Carnage asked.
"As if, no…Izuku Midoriya…he was cute when all cut up and I'd love to meet him face to face…but what I am pissed off about is those flames…we weren't burnt before, and it hurt…like really hurt…" Toga said as she clenched her fist.
"Fire and sound are our worst enemies, they hurt like hell, I know so from the memories of my father and brother…" Carnage remarked.
"You have their memories?" Toga asked curiously.
"They're more so feelings or instincts inherited from them, I know how it feels because they also know how it feels." Carnage said. "But not to worry, there won't be any fire or sound to stop us when we hunt down Venom and Brock, and turn them into a gourmet meal…"
"Well if weren't hiding from the police right now, then I'd gladly take you out to look for them." Toga said with a sigh before looking at the other League members around Bakugo.
"You can turn into whose blood you drink and I can't be affected by Quirk nullifying weapons and tech." Carnage explained. "We could go out there now, completely incognito and find them before any cops tracked us down. Besides, what happens when they discover us? They're not going to know our weakness, are they?"
"I'm the one in charge here, remember? And if I say you can't go, then you can't go." Shigaraki said, addressing Toga and Carnage, which caught their attention.
"I do what I please, Shiggy." Carnage said, glaring at the hand clad Villain. "So unless you want to keep your hands and spleen, I suggest you stay out of my way!"
"Hey, this is my body, you go where I go, that was the deal." Toga said firmly.
"Listen to your 'sister', Carnage." Shigaraki said mockingly. "Besides, you're not the only one who wants Venom dead, especially after killing my Nomus and taking out a third of our forces during the attack on the camp!"
"Do you think I hit your shoulder because my aim was poor, Shiggy? I could have taken your head off the day I woke, but we can't have that, waste of a good brain, that is not that you're smart, but rather food." Carnage taunted.
Shigaraki was livid and wanted to attack Carnage, but was stopped by Kurogiri.
"Tomura Shigaraki, Carnage, we cannot afford to create infighting. After all, our focus should be on Katsuki Bakugo." Kurogiri explained.
"You are right, Kurogiri." Shigaraki said as he returned his attention back to Bakugo. "Katsuki Bakugo, the winner of this year's Sports Festival, scored first in the Entrance Exam and third in the Quirk Apprehension Test. Quirk gains him the ability to sweat a nitroglycerin-like liquid out of his body that explodes when enough force is applied to it. A competent fighter despite your destructive power, am I right? But I wonder, what's a kid like yourself doing wasting your talents becoming a Hero? Why don't you join the League of Villains instead, and we can kill All-Might and destroy this society, making the world a truly interesting and better place for us all."
"Am I supposed to be impressed by that stupid speech, asshole? No way in hell am I becoming some loser Villain!" Bakugo roared in defiance.
"Why not? You don't even act like a proper Hero." Dabi said, staring at Bakugo intently. "You throw insults at nearly everyone around you, you act excessively violent and shoot death threats like they're second nature and you treat the people around you with barely any respect or concern. That sounds an awful lot like a Villain, don't you think?"
"If that's the case, then why is Endeavour still considered one?" Spinner asked as he crossed his arms.
"Because he still saves lives, fights Villains and doesn't break the law." Magne replied. "But young Bakugo here seems like quite the rule breaker."
"What kind of hideout is this supposed to be anyway? A shitty little bar in the seedy side of the city? After I blast these restraints off, I'll level this loser building along with the rest of you!" Bakugo boasted with an arrogant smirk.
"Ugh, this brat is fucking annoying! To think Dad had to tolerate this noisy, arrogant little shit!" Carnage said as she and Toga approached Bakugo before retreating back into her host.
"So you're that parasite's kid? Guess you and all of your kind are the same slimy little bugs who die to a bunch of heat and loud noises, what a weak race of aliens!" Bakugo mocked with a toxic tone.
"Say those words again, kid, and I swear I will tear out your stomach, rip out your eyes and dissolve them in your acids! I'm a Blood Hunter, an apex predator and I will not be mocked or tested by some hairless ape who thinks that they are special or strong or powerful just because your kind chose to evolve and get superpowers!" Carnage yelled as she formed around Toga's face and pointed a large red and black arm blade at Bakugo's neck, much to the shock and disapproval of the other League members.
"Stand down, Carnage!" Shigaraki said, attempting to reach for the symbiote's blade. "Toga, rein her in or I will turn you both to dust!"
"Carnage, you are trying to take control of my body again, you're being the opposite of what a sister should be." Toga said, talking the Blood Hunter down sternly. "We will find Venom and Brock, we'll kill them together and have all the blood and brains we could ever dream of. But I need you to calm down and let me handle this. Don't do it for Shigaraki or the League, do it for me."
Carnage fell silent, looking at Bakugo and then looking at Shigaraki before letting out an annoyed sigh. She went back inside of Toga's body who then let out a small grin before leaning on the bar counter cheerfully.
"You owe me, Toga…" Carnage said with a hint of resentment.
"Of course I do." Toga retorted back.
Shigaraki let out a groan before he returned back to speaking with Bakugo.
"I'll ask you one more time, Katsuki Bakugo, aspiring Hero, will you join the League of Villains?"
Bakugo in turn flashed a slasher smile at Shigaraki and his allies.
"Go throw yourself into traffic."
Shigaraki squinted his eyes in frustration, as he knew it would take more effort to try and convince the blonde Hero in-training to join their side.
"I heard that U.A. staff were appearing at a press conference later regarding what happened at the summer camp. Perhaps we should tune in and see how the media and public will react to it." Mr. Compress suggested.
"Well, I guess any chance of discrediting those Heroes more is worth the watch." Shigaraki said in amusement as he turned the TV back on, hoping to tune into the press conference.
"Let's return to a short clip from the U.A. High School press conference that just wrapped up." A male voice said as the TV showed Principal Nezu, Aizawa, and Vlad King bowing their heads towards the crowd of reporters.
"We are here to apologize. A recent incident allowed harm to come to twenty-seven first-year Heroes. And we staff were ill-prepared. We take responsibility for any trauma caused by our negligence." Aizawa stated before the clip showed him and the other two U.A. staff members bowed, and the reporters had also started to take more pictures. "It's our duty to train Heroes, but also to protect Heroes in-training."
The three then sat back down in their seats before a male reporter asked them a question
"I'll take the first question. Since the beginning of the year, U.A. students have had four encounters with Villains. This time there were students who were gravely injured. How did you explain this to their families? And what are some of the specific steps you're taking to ensure their safety in the future?"
"We will increase patrols around the school grounds and review security measures within the school." Nezu replied. "The safety of U.A. students is our main priority, make no mistake about it."
Murmuring within the crowd could be heard in the background before another reporter to ask their question. The League watched the clip a little longer before putting it on mute, and Shigaraki turned to face Bakugo.
"Isn't that strange? The Heroes are becoming the bad guys." Shigaraki remarked. "Seems like they're not dealing with this very well at all. So much criticism, but everyone makes a mistake or two right? It's not like they're supposed to be perfect. Modern day Heroes sure have it rough. Don't you think, Bakugo?"
"Once a Hero receives payment to protect people, they aren't a real Hero any more." Spinner stated. "That's what Stain's actions taught us."
"A Hero in this current system only cares about money and glory." Shigaraki continued. "And since society buys into those idiotic rules, anyone deemed a loser is shoved aside. So we wanted to pose some questions. What is a Hero? What is justice? Is this society truly fair? Soon, everyone will be asking. That's when we'll know we've won. And you like winning, don't you?"
Bakugo didn't reply to him and only continued to glare at the League of Villain members.
"Dabi, let him go." Shigaraki ordered.
"You know he'll just fight." Dabi sighed, trying to argue against him.
"It's fine! We're recruiting him. So we should treat him as an equal." Shigaraki said. "Besides, he's smart enough to know he can't take us all, right? After all, U.A. students are so clever."
"Oh please, the minute he gets free he's going to attack us, this brat doesn't care about odds, especially if he can blow people up with a flick of his wrists…" Carnage said, before being shushed by Toga.
"Zip it, you had your chance." Toga told the symbiote.
"Hey Twice, you do it." Dabi said.
"Sure thing! No way!" Twice said, waving a hand as he switched demeanours.
"Do it." Dabi said more assertively.
"Aw man!" Twice groaned before walking to Bakugo.
"I do apologize for such forceful methods. But please understand that we aren't some kind of unruly mob committing crimes without a third act in mind." Mr. Compress stated as Twice started to unlock Bakugo's restraints. "We didn't kidnap you by accident."
"Even though our backgrounds are different, everyone here has suffered. Because of people, rules, and Heroes to try and hold us back. I'm sure you're the same." Shigaraki said as he also walked closer to Bakugo, but as soon as Twice was finished taking off Bakugo's restraints, the hot-tempered student hit Twice in the face with his knee and quickly dashed towards Shigaraki and blasted him with a small explosion. Much to the shock of most members of the League of Villains. The hand on Shigaraki's face then fell to the ground.
"Shigaraki!" Twice exclaimed as he recovered from Bakugo's attack.
"Oh look, what a surprise! He attacked you the minute he got free." Carnage remarked sarcastically. "Gee, if only there was someone who could have told you this would happen…Oh wait, I DID! You know for creatures who have brains, you sure as hell don't use them!"
"I'm done listening to your endless talking. Can you not get to the point or do just like your own voice?" Bakugo retorted. "Basically what you're saying is that you wanna cause some trouble and you want me to join you…well screw you!"
A mad grin then formed on Bakugo's face.
"I like to win! I wanna win just like All-Might!" He stated. "No matter what you have to offer me, that will never change, do you understand?!"
"Yeah, I hear you loud and clear, I think it's time to devour his brain!" Carnage said as she formed tendrils out of Toga's back.
"Don't even think about…" Dabi said, keeping his eyes on Bakugo.
Before Bakugo and the League could take any other actions, everyone in the room then noticed that the TV was unmuted and heard what happened during the replay of the conference mid-conversation between Aizawa and another reporter.
"Can you say the same for the abducted, Katsuki Bakugo? He enrolled at your school with excellent marks and went on to win the Sports Festival. Before that he survived the attack of a powerful Sludge Villain who eventually had to be taken down by All-Might. The boy's obviously strong and heroic. On the other hand, the violence he displayed during the finals and his attitude during the award ceremony both show that he cannot control his temper. What if this is the real reason the Villains kidnapped him? What if they're brainwashing Bakugo right now, pulling him toward the path of evil? How can you sit there and tell us that he has a future?"
The camera then showed Aizawa standing up not speaking for a couple of seconds before bowing his head towards the crowd once more.
"As Katsuki Bakugo's teacher, I take full responsibility for not taming his violent behavior. However, his actions at the Sports Festival were born of his deep-seated convictions." Aizawa said as he looked up slightly. "He's trying harder than anyone in his pursuit to become the top Hero. If the Villains think they have a chance with him, then they are grossly mistaken, I can guarantee you that much."
"That doesn't amount to real evidence though. I didn't ask how you feel, I asked you if you had concrete information." The reporter said.
"We're doing our best with the intel we currently have available. We have no doubt the police will break this case very soon. We won't rest until our missing student is returned to U.A."
"Heh, did you hear the teachers? They get me more than I thought!" Bakugo said. "I'll never join your League of Bastards!"
"They went through the trouble of mounting a huge attack, all just to bring me back here!" Bakugo thought. "Idiots even told me what they wanted, for me to join their pathetic group! Which means I know they won't kill me! What a bunch of amateurs! Now's my chance! I gotta take a couple of them down quick and get the hell out of here!"
"We may not be at camp, but I'm still allowed to fight!" Bakugo yelled.
"He must've figured out that he's important to us. What a clever boy." Magne stated.
"No, he's a fool." Dabi said.
"Let us stab him!" Toga said with a grin as she formed a blade with one of her arms.
"Agreed, sis, I'm really getting sick of this brat and his attitude!" Carnage growled.
"A clever performer would've acted like we were winning him over. Now that he's broken character, he's finished." Mr. Compress said as he put his hands on his sides.
"I only do whatever I want to and I won't even pretend otherwise! And I'm tired of being surrounded by a bunch of lame-ass wannabes!" Bakugo remarked.
"Oh, talk talk talk, whine whine whine! Can't someone just tear this little shit's tongue out already?!" Carnage yelled.
Shigaraki was silent the whole time and only stared at the hand that fell to the ground. His hand then twitched before he started to lift it up.
"Father…" He thought.
"No, Tomura Shigaraki! Be calm!" Kurogiri exclaimed as he was about to reach out towards him using his head, but then Shigaraki only lifted his arm in front of Kurogiri.
"Don't lay a finger on him. Any of you." Shigaraki stated before reaching down to grab the hand and put it back on his face. "This Hero…is still a valuable piece. I wish you would've listened to what I had to say. I thought you and I could come to an understanding."
"What, you think we're the same?" Bakugo asked. "Not a chance!"
"Something we agreed on, you're nothing alike, so just give up and kill him, or better yet let me just eat him, I hear spicy food is good once you get past how hot it is!" Carnage barked
"Shut that tapeworm up, Toga, it's getting on my nerves!" Shigaraki yelled before composing himself.
"Then I have no choice. The Heroes said they'd continue their investigation of our group. So we don't have time to stand here and talk."
Shigaraki turned towards the TV, and it changed to displaying purple text that showed "Sound only".
"Master, lend me your power."
"That is a wise decision, Tomura Shigaraki." All For One said, as his voice could be heard from the TV.
Eddie and Venom had managed to hitch a ride on the bullet train and arrived in Kamino in a matter of a few hours. They decided to keep a low profile while in public and so Venom stayed inside Eddie while he walked through the crowds with a cheap hoodie he got from a nearby store, as most of the public didn't recognise him but he knew Pro Heroes would have been given information and no doubt would arrest him if he were to be spotted. The human and symbiote duo caught the press conference on the jumbotron, to which Eddie let out a sigh.
"Looks like the school and the Pros are not looking so hot in the eyes of the public right now." Eddie commented.
"At least someone finally admitted that Bakugo has a problem!" Venom retorted. "But I'm still angry that they didn't talk about how he was a bully!"
"Yeah, but they should save him before they try and work on his shitty behaviour first." Eddie said as he walked away from the jumbotron, only to spot a group of five teenagers, who upon looking closer looked somewhat familiar. "Hey, don't those kids look familiar to you?"
"Son of a bitch, it's broccoli boy! And he's with icy hot, motor legs, red boy and little miss perfect!" Venom remarked, spotting Midoriya, Iida, Todoroki, Kirishima and Yaoyarozu in disguise.
"What the hell are they up to?" Eddie said with a groan as he then decided to tail them.
Eddie followed the young Heroes in-training, making sure to keep himself hidden, and fortunately years of being a journalist had allowed him to blend in with his surroundings even without Venom's help. They appeared to be following a small device that Yaoyarozu was holding, which appeared to be some sort of tracker from what Eddie could see from his location. He noticed that they spotted at the corner of a street as Yaoyarozu peered over the side to look at a building in front of her.
"Okay, this is the spot the tracker is broadcasting from." Yaoyarozu said.
"So that's their hideout? Not a bad one I guess." Kirishima
"Maybe it is, and maybe it isn't. According to the tracking history, the Villain hasn't left this location for the past day. But that's all we know." Yaoyarozu stated. "One Villain could be hiding here, but that could be it. They might have Bakugo somewhere else. We're going into this operation completely blind for the most part. Please try to proceed logically."
"They're going after Bakugo? What are they thinking?" Eddie muttered as he moved his foot, only to step on paper and create an audible scrunch loud enough that the group of young Heroes were able to hear it.
"Who's there?" Kirishima called out. "We heard that, you know, so come out and face us!"
"Kirishima, keep your voice down." Iida pleaded.
Eddie then slowly stepped into view, his hands up but his hood obscuring most of his face. He then pulled off his hood to reveal his face to the teens.
"Eddie/Brock/Mr. Brock?!" They all said, surprised to see the San Franciscan.
"Hey there, kids…" Eddie said sheepishly.
"What are you doing here?" Kirishima asked.
"Me? What are you doing here? Are you trying to get yourself thrown out of school?" Eddie retorted.
"That's rich, coming from a Vigilante." Todoroki remarked.
"So they were right, you and Venom were at Hosu…you ate that Nomu's brain!" Iida exclaimed.
"It wasn't human anymore, besides the Pros have killed them too!" Venom said, sprouting out of Eddie.
Though they wanted to object, Yaoyarozu, Iida and Midoriya couldn't exactly counter Venom's argument.
"Actually, yeah, that makes too much sense." Kirishima remarked. "If the Pros can't kill people, then why was Endeavour and other Heroes allowed to get away with obliterating Nomus?"
"Hypocrisy at its finest, red boy!" Venom commented with a grin.
"Why…." Midoriya said as he clenched one of his fists as he trembled slightly. "Why didn't you tell us, Eddie? You and Venom are Vigilantes, fighting crime illegally, and if that's not it, you've committed cannibalism!"
"I'm the one who eats people, broccoli boy, Eddie is just my ride so it's not cannibalism, thank you." Venom said with a snarky tone.
"But he's still complicit in allowing you to do that." Iida stated. "Even if taking a Nomu's life is not necessarily wrong, devouring their brain is disgusting."
"I am a predator, motor legs, it's how my kind naturally feeds. Are you going to condemn me from doing something that is no different to any other predator in the ecosystem?" Venom hissed at Iida, silencing the Class Rep.
"Look, I made a promise to Aizawa back at the summer camp, and I will honour it regardless of how you guys feel about me." Eddie said, regaining his composure. "While you and the Pros mount a rescue, we're going to find Himiko Toga."
"You mean your secret love child?" Todoroki asked bluntly.
"No, you idiot! She has my daughter inside of her, that Blood Hunter Carnage!" Venom exclaimed.
"So you're telling me Venom has a kid? When did you even find the time to hook up with someone?" Kirishima asked curiously.
"His species is asexual, they can reproduce without a partner." Eddie elaborated.
"Any part of my body that is cut off can potentially become its own symbiote, and that Toga girl found pieces of me that mixed with her blood and became that psycho bitch!" Venom stated with a huff.
"And what are your intentions with Himiko Toga and this Carnage?" Yaoyarozu asked.
"The Pros can have the girl, but we need to do the same thing we did to the first Carnage." Eddie replied.
"And that is?" Iida asked in a concerned tone.
"Eat the little shit! She was a mistake, a mistake I need to correct by returning the pieces of me in her back to its source!" Venom exclaimed.
"But she's your daughter, your flesh and blood!" Midoriya objected.
"All the more reason to kill her, she's a violent and uncontrollable butcher who will slaughter and devour everything in her path, especially with an unhinged host like Toga!" Venom explained. "I was lucky to find a host like Eddie who made me see that I was more than a grunt for some invasion force, but Carnage, both of them have always been the bi-product of a psychopath's actions, and only learned how to be what they are from them."
"They're not worth saving, especially given how much Toga has corrupted her." Eddie said in a simpler way.
"So that's it? No compromise, no other solution? You're just going to kill her?" Midoriya asked with a hint of anger.
"Yep." Both Eddie and Venom said simply.
"Okay then…" Kirishima said awkwardly. "I think we got sidetracked a little here."
"Yes, by all means, go ahead, pretend I'm not here and continue with your planning." Eddie said awkwardly as he watched the young Heroes.
"Anyway, I don't like this. None of us are good at sneaking around." Iida said. "We need Hagakure or Jiro here. If I think things are gonna be the least bit dangerous, we're done. I won't hesitate to call the police either, to make sure my friends are safe."
"Thank you…Iida." Midoriya said after turning away from him. "So what can we do in front of us? Let me see here. The prerequisite is that we don't use our Quirks to fight the Villains and on top of that we'll need to figure out…"
"Been a while since I've seen him this weird." Kirishima said as Midoriya went on one of his tangents again.
"Yeah, this is truly peak Midoriya…" Yaoyorozu agreed.
"That's right. Once you've set your heart on something, there's no swaying you. You won't stop. That's what I respect about you as a friend, and a rival." Iida thought as Midoriya continued. "But there must be boundaries and someone has to make sure you don't cross them. This time, I'll protect you!"
"Anyway, we're going to keep up our search for Toga." Eddie said. "If we do end up finding Bakugo, then we'll be sure to call you, Midoriya gave me his number."
"If you say so, Eddie, good luck with your search." Kirishima said.
"You too, stay safe! Lethal Protector out!" Venom exclaimed as he formed over Eddie and made a dash towards the opposite direction of the kids.
As the black symbiote and his host leaped and ricocheted off walls and posts around him, a black and green figure watched him in the distance and started to follow Eddie and Venom on their pursuit of Himiko Toga and Carnage.
"'A master? I thought you were the boss around here! But you're a sidekick!" Bakugo retorted.
"Kurogiri. Compress, it's time to put him back to sleep." Shigaraki ordered.
"Seriously? He isn't going to join the League, idiot! Best I kill him now before he can escape!" Carnage argued. "At least let sis get some of his blood!"
"I can't believe he's such a bad audience member…" Mr. Compress sighed before walking towards Bakugo. "It's almost impressive."
"If you want me to listen, then get on your knees and beg!" Bakugo yelled once more before thinking to himself. "I wanna blow them away with maximum firepower, but that warp guy is way too fast! Think! I need to make an opening somehow and get to the back door!"
Toga was focused on Bakugo, but Carnage though initially focused on him too as half of her face formed on Toga's, felt a stinging sensation in her mind, forcing her and Toga's eyes to close. When they both opened them, their eyes were glowing pure yellow and saw everything as red except the people around them who were coloured outlines.
"What is this? It's like some sort of freaky vision…" Toga muttered.
"I knew my kind could develop senses like this, but this is…" Carnage said before noticing something or rather someone in front of the door, a human shaped outline. "Hold on, someone is approaching the door!"
"What do you mean? How can you tell?" Dabi asked curiously.
"It's like…there's an outline around it, the shape of a person…" Carnage replied as she looked carefully before grinning. "Oh…that's what their game is…"
Everyone then turned their attention to the door as they heard a few slow knocks coming from the other side.
"Hello, I got a pizza delivery here." A male voice said.
A few moments of silence passed before the wall behind Spinner burst open as none other than Number 1 Hero All-Might came leaping into the hideout.
"SMASH!" All-Might yelled with his fist forward, indicating he had punched through the wall with his bare hand.
"What the-?!" The gecko Villain exclaimed.
"Kurogiri! Gate!" Shigaraki called out, to which the warp Villain tried to activate his Quirk. But then one of the new Heroes, Kamui Woods had dashed in and shot out branches towards each of the Villains, not only restraining them but also stopped Kurogiri from opening a portal.
"Pre-emptive Binding…Lacquered Chain Prison!"
"That's easy-" Dabi said as he tried to ignite his body, only for Gran Torino to quickly intercept the pyrokinetic Villain and knock him out with a kick to the head.
"Don't do anything foolish! It's in your best interest to cooperate with us!" Gran Torino stated.
"Just what I expected from a competent new Hero! And a veteran Pro who moves faster than the eye can see!" All-Might said. "You can't run any more League of Villains! Understand? Because we are here now!"
"Right after the press conference?!" Mr. Compress exclaimed. "They had this ruse planned the whole time!"
"Tree Man, you're hugging me too tight! Harder!" Twice shouted as he switched demeanours.
"One tends to neglect defense when they're on the offense. But we didn't come alone. Take a look." The Number 9 Hero known as Edgeshot said, revealing himself by sliding through the door using his Quirk to become paper-thin before reverting to his normal self and opened the door, with several armoured officers pointing their guns at the Villains. "You are surrounded by the police, not to mention powerful Heroes like Endeavour."
"Tsukauchi! Why does Edgeshot get to rush into the fight while I'm stuck here with you?!" Endeavour growled.
"Because if someone slips out, we'll need you to capture them immediately." Tsukauchi replied before the Number 2 Hero groaned.
"Ah, you must've been scared, but you stayed strong. I'm sorry, you're safe now young man!" All-Might said assuringly.
"What?! I wasn't scared! Not even close!" Bakugo shouted, with All-Might giving him a thumbs-up anyway.
"After I went through all the trouble of preparing this, the final boss goes and shows up on my doorstep…" Shigaraki thought angrily while he glared at the Number 1 Hero. "Everyone's been restrained. There's no easy way to escape. It can't be helped. So they've got backup, huh? Well we do too!"
"Kurogiri! Warp over as many as you can!" Shigaraki commanded.
"The Nomu, right?" All-Might asked.
Kurogiri had tried to summon the Nomus to their location, however as several seconds flew by, not one portal had been opened by the warp Villain.
"What are you waiting for, dammit?!" Shigaraki fumed.
"Sorry, Tomura Shigaraki. The Nomus were supposed to be in a fixed location but…they're gone." Kurogiri explained.
"Huh?" Shigaraki asked.
"It seems that you have a lot to learn, Shigaraki. You're still green." All-Might said as he put a hand on Bakugo's shoulder. "Your little League…underestimated all of us. The soul of this young man. The police's diligent investigations. And…our righteous fury."
All-Might then took his hand off of Bakugo and stood tall in front of the Villains.
"Enough is enough! Your game has come to an end…Tomura Shigaraki!" All-Might said, looking directly at Shigaraki.
"All-Might, please! You're the only Hero Stain respected! You are worthy!" Spinner praised.
Before Shigaraki could retort to All-Might, he and the rest of the room started to hear distorted laughter starting to build up. They turned in the direction of the source to see Toga whose lips and face contorted and changed to match Carnage's as the laughter continued.
"Oh, this is just too priceless." Carnage remarked. "You know, I was expecting more from you, Shiggy, but at the end of the day you are just a weakling, like the rest of the trash…"
"You…you knew that there was more than just one of them…" Shigaraki said, turning to looking at Carnage.
"And here I thought you would have been more perceptive. I mean did you really think that was a pizza delivery guy?" Carnage scoffed. "I even told you someone was at the door, and yet you still didn't think that was suspicious. Idiots! You call yourselves Villains? You can't even see through the oldest trick in the book!"
"That face…they match the photos of the prime suspect of those unsolved murders…" Gran Torino thought before addressing "Toga". "Are you Himiko Toga?"
"Toga's on sabbatical, honey!" Carnage said as her grin widened. "No, my sister was a fool for thinking the League of Villains were worthy of a Blood Hunter like ourselves."
"Who are you?!" Gran Torino demanded.
"Me? I'm an apex predator, I hunt and eat weak little shits like you for breakfast, lunch and dinner!" Carnage boasted. "I will protect my sister and bathe this world in blood and guts, starting with the lot of you!"
"In case you have noticed, you and your cohorts have been ensnared by my branches with no way to activate your Quirks." Kamui Woods declared with confidence.
"Hahahahaa! You think you've caught me? And with wood of all things? Guess your brain is made of wood too!" Carnage remarked. "Also, you should look behind you."
"What? What do you mean-" Kamui Woods said as he turned around, only for a red and black tendril to pierce straight through his head.
"KAMUI!" All-Might, Gran Torino and Edgeshot exclaimed as Kamui Woods dropped to the ground while his Quirk deactivated and allowed Shigaraki and the others to be free.
"You monster!" All-Might yelled as he charged towards Carnage to punch her, but the Blood Hunter cackled as she dove underneath the floorboards of the hideout and tunneled out of there at rapid speeds.
"Kurogiri! Hurry up and get us out of here before they try and bind us with something else!" Shigaraki ordered.
This time, Kurogiri was able to open a portal for their retreat and the remaining Pro Heroes had tried to stop them. However, several tar-like portals appeared within the bar and Nomu all came through them.
"Nomus? But we already hit the warehouse containing them!" Edgeshot exclaimed in disbelief.
The officers inside had begun shooting at the Nomus that had already come out of their portals. But as more Nomus were appearing, the same tar-like substance suddenly burst out of Bakugo's mouth and started to envelop him.
"Aw, crap!" Bakugo said fearfully, with All-Might trying to grab him but he was too late as the substance had completely engulfed Bakugo before vanishing into thin air.
"NOOOOO!" The Number 1 Hero yelled.
Outside of the hideout, Carnage bursted from out of the ground as she formed red and black organic matter around Toga's body, assuming a transformation that covered most of her body, though turned her red and much longer. The sight of the Blood Hunter appearing spooked most of the SWAT officers and Tsukauchi, seeing as one of the Villains on their list had escaped the Pro Heroes' grasp.
"Oh good, I was wondering when I would get a chance to eat again…" Carnage remarked as she licked her lips in delight.
"Shit! So that's the symbiote Brock warned us about, Carnage, the offspring of Venom!" Tsukauchi exclaimed as he drew his pistol. "Open fire!"
He alongside a few of the other SWAT officers then shot their guns at the Blood Hunter. Carnage however stood there as the bullets either flew past or hit her, absorbing and deflecting each shot fired at her before creating a tendril that ensnared a nearby SWAT officer, pulling them forward and took their head clean off with a big snap of her jaws.
"What the fuck? Did she just eat him?!" One of the SWAT officers yelled.
Carnage laughed maniacally before forming a blade on her left arm and enlarged her claws on her right arm. She charged into the conflict, as he started to viciously rip and slice through SWAT officers like they were wet paper. SWAT officers opened fire again, but Carnage walked through the shots as she made bladed tendril from her back that would impale and slash people from a distance, before picking up an officer that tried to bash her with a riot shield with one of her tendrils and proceeded to disembowel them with her claws. Carnage bit said officer's head off before dropping their lifeless and gutless body to the ground as she thrusted her arms out and fired several red and black spikes at a couple of the SWAT officers, who tried to protect themselves with riot shields, but the spikes were too sharp and easily pierced them. The spikes penetrated their bodies and made several officers drop dead, horrifying Detective Tsukauchi at how utterly unhinged Carnage was.
"Dammit!" Tsukauchi shouted before turning to the Number 2 Hero. "Endeavour! We need you to focus on the red and black creature!"
"Red and black creature?" Endeavour thought in confusion before he blasted a nearby Nomu with a wave of fire before looking in Carnage's direction. "What the hell? The powers it possesses, it's similar to Edward Brock and the alien known as Venom. Could this creature be connected?"
"Hurry!" Tsukauchi called out as he fired more rounds at Carnage.
"Stupid human, bullets don't work on me!" Carnage yelled as she lunged towards Tsukauchi, but then swiftly dodged a flaming projectile aimed at her.
The Blood Hunter leaped back to see that the Number 2 Hero Endeavour was now focusing his attention on her.
"Shit, this asshole with the fire Quirk." Carnage thought as she treaded carefully around Endeavour before dodging a stream of fire that he shot at her.
"If you're dodging my flames, then that must mean you're weakened by them, maybe even to a fatal degree." Endeavour remarked confidently.
"I wouldn't celebrate yet, you flaming dickhead." Carnage said before she was able to slash Endeavour's chest with impressive speeds with one of her tendrils. "After all, you're the reason I live in the first place."
"What the hell are you talking about? Are you referring to Brock and that alien parasite?" Endeavour asked in confusion.
"Remember how you shot him with one of your flame attacks? Some of that found its way into my host here, and well, here I am." Carnage said with a gleeful smile as she swung her tendrils at him again, though Endeavour dodged each swing before creating a spear of fire and threw it at the Blood Hunter.
Carnage then did something shocking to the Number 2 Hero, as the second the flaming spear reached Carnage's torso, she opened up a hole large enough that the spear went directly through her, never making contact with her body at all. Endeavour's eyes widened in horror as he watched Carnage close up the hole and rushed at him while swinging their arm blade down, to which Endeavour's left hand was sliced clean off from his arm. Endeavour roared in pain at the loss of his hand while Carnage simply laughed before picking up the Number 2 Hero's severed hand with a tendril.
"Aww, what's the matter? Did you lose your hand~?" Carnage said in a mocking tone before waving said hand in front of Endeavour. "You were talking as if you had this battle all under control, but you clearly underestimated me. Did you honestly think I would back down just because you can create fire? I can slice you to pieces before you can ignite the hydrogen in the air, you stupid bastard!"
"Shut up!" Endeavour yelled as he ignited his right hand in flames and then shoved it on his bleeding wrist, cauterizing it as he let out another pained roar. "It's…going to take more than losing a hand to kill me…"
"No duh, if I wanted you to die quickly, I would have just sliced off your head." Carnage retorted before taking a stance with her tendrils and claw/blade combo. "But where's the fun in that? I want you to suffer more!"
Carnage rushed towards Endeavour with maniacal laughter, swinging her claws and blade repeatedly at the Number 2 Hero, who barely dodged each of the attacks before being struck in the shoulder by her arm blade. Endeavour created a blade of fire in his remaining hand and swung it at Carnage, but the Blood Hunter dodged each of the swings before Endeavour then tried to blast her with a wave of flames. Carnage leaped over the wave of fire and landed behind Endeavour before attempting to stab them in the back, only for something to send them flying across the street and into a wall. Endeavour turned around to see a familiar black symbiote had landed near him.
"Venom!" Tsukauchi gasped as he turned away from shooting one of the Nomus.
"We found that psycho bitch, but we also found the raid!" Venom exclaimed. "But why are there all of these Nomu?"
"We had the League of Villains right where we wanted them, but then that red monster broke loose and killed Kamui Woods, and if that's not enough they took Bakugo again and sent these Nomus our way!" Tsukauchi explained before he shot an incoming Nomu a few times in the face.
"Where is All-Might?" Eddie asked as Venom opened half of his face up to reveal his host underneath.
"Inside the hideout with Gran Torino and Edgeshot! But they should be on the move soon!" Tsukauchi replied.
"Then we will let you handle this, we have a daughter to punish." Venom said as he closed his face up and headed in the direction he sent Carnage.
Carnage meanwhile upon being thrown into a wall, quickly recovered as they pulled themselves out of the large human shaped hole they made. Carnage looked in front of her to see Venom was charging towards her, to which the Blood Hunter dodged their tendril attack before slicing his back open with one of hers. Venom growled angrily before he turned his head and glared at his psychotic offspring.
"Daddy, you finally showed up~!" Carnage exclaimed with sadistic glee.
"That's right, my girl, time for your spanking!" Venom roared as they countered each other's tendrils before transitioning into fisticuffs.
Both symbiotes threw punches at one another before they manifested their weapons once more, with Carnage swinging her blade, only for it to be blocked by a hardened tendril to which the two began to duel one another with their respective weapon, the sound of them clashing similar to iron striking against each other. The two symbiotes stepped back as they fired off their tendrils at each other, countering each of their strikes with great precision.
"Looks like you're still pretty strong after I nearly killed you, old man~" Carnage taunted.
"You got lucky, punk!" Venom retorted.
"Don't you mean you got lucky?!" Carnage argued before she tried firing red and black spikes at Venom, who blocked them by forming a shield on his arm.
"We've let you rampage long enough! Time to get eaten, just like your brother!" Venom growled as he turned his tendrils into makeshift drills and charged at the Blood Hunter.
"Not before I eat YOU!" Carnage screamed as she charged towards the Lethal Protector with both arms turned into blades.
The two symbiotes were about to land a blow on each other, however their weapons were incinerated by a powerful stream of green acidic liquid. Venom and Carnage were in disbelief as they turned to face the origin of the attack, the black and green clad symbiote known as Sleeper.
"And who the hell is this guy?!" Carnage shrieked.
"Is that…?" Eddie asked inside of Venom.
"Another symbiote…" Venom muttered as he glared at the newly arrived Sleeper.
"Klyntars of Earth-946, you are in violation of Trans-Dimensional Law." Sleeper stated to both of the symbiotes. "Your presence in this universe risks an Incursion, something that I cannot allow. By the will of the Knights of the Cosmos, I will dispose of you myself."
Did you enjoy the chapter? If so, please favourite and follow the story and give me your feedback! I will now go over my decisions in this chapter. Now I will go over some of the decisions I made in the chapter.
So Eddie and Venom have gotten in trouble for killing Muscular but they have taken a stance on Carnage, deciding to go out there and hunt her down despite the legal issues they have gotten themselves in again. I am trying to convey that even though Eddie is not a cold-blooded killer and is adamant about killing, he is not soft and he has no objections to Carnage being killed or eaten like the previous Carnage but he is willing to spare Toga and give her to the authorities.
So another thing that I was going to tackle is how Class 1-A is going to feel about Eddie and Venom hiding their Vigilante activities and lethal methods. At first, I was okay with them being pissed and livid at him to the point where it would lead to an argument, but I honestly felt that them arguing especially at this crucial time with the League and Bakugo wasn't appropriate not to mention they can't completely say that Eddie and Venom's reasons and methods are wrong.
So also I'd like to talk to you guys about something. Currently, me and my co-writer are at a bit of a conundrum in terms of the direction of the story as I have set up All For One taking interests in the symbiotes but unsure how to progress, whether I have him be defeated like in canon or if we do something different and have All For One be a more active antagonist. I would like to hear your opinions and ideas on what we could do.
If that is all, then I will see you guys next chapter! MVA: Symbiote's Justice, Lethal Protectors away!
